- Brett (6/5): - Great location with amazing views. Unfortunately floors were dirty on arrival. Bathroom floor was disgusting. Shower leaks onto the bathroom floor, bed move’s because it’s on wheels and fridge freezes food.
- Gena (10/5): - Wyndham Resort is very close to everything. Walking distance to the beach and great restaurants/cafes. Short drive to major attractions in the Surf Coast. Though rooms need some updating and minor maintenance we totally enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

The deluxe queen room was dark .. due to some ceiling light was not working .. so as the toilet some light was not working.. I had unpleasant experience during breakfast time.. they lost my order and Made me wait more than an hour and didn’t informed me that my breakfast order was lost ..

- Alicia (6/5): Not worth the money - We arrived and booked for two adults and two kids. There was no sheets or quilt covers for the sofa bed. It took 3 different phone numbers to get help as ‘ it wasn’t really classified as an emergency’. Took over hour and half to receive any sheets which they didn’t have a double cover so had to use two seperate covers on a double. Kept falling off the kids all night. For a penthouse it is outdated furniture which is very well used, main bed is tiny not a true queen and is extremely uncomfortable. Furniture could be updated and also the tv. $700 for two nights not worth it. Didn’t stay last night drove home for comfortable beds. Really disappointing!

- Patrick (6/5): - There are too many additional and confusing steps that happen off Expedia, instead having to correspond with surf coast rentals. The property itself was ok, though there were sticky handprints on one of the chairs, chips underneath the sofa bed and the only cleaning product supplied was dishwasher and laundry powder. The kids loved the pool and the room was relatively quiet.
- Sonny (8/5): - This resort is in a great spot across the road from the beach and about a 1k walk from shop and restaurant precinct (along the beach). Terrific outdoor pool, indoor pool, gym and spa at the resort. BBQ and playgrounds are there as well. We had a lovely room overlooking the pool. Restaurant downstairs too. Torquay is a stunning place for a holiday. Surfers will love it. However you are actually not part of the resort. This means the front desk can’t help and you pick up the key from a different spot about a k away. There’s no tidying of the room while there and the after hours emergency number is actually a text message service. They were quick to respond. Some facilities are tired. The carpet smells of smoke. It’s great to have a microwave in the room and the shower was great. It’s a pretty good deal. We had a ball.

- Jessica (6/5): - The location was great -10 minute walk to the main town and even less to great beaches. The pools etc were good and clean. The entire setup however was pretty odd. It was setup like a motel room, except the requirements were more like a serviced apartment (collecting keys offsite, taking out your own rubbish). Everything was fairly outdated, including the documentation they left for you. The biggest thing for us was the smell. In our room there was a constant overwhelming smell of sewage coming out of the drain in the bathroom which made the whole room smell a little off. The “resort” was part of another resort but you couldn’t seek their assistance with anything and no one was available except for emergencies with ours. Made it a bit hard to tell what was and wasn’t included. This wasn’t outright bad, but I certainly wouldn’t choose it again with so many options in town.

- Gary (2/5): - Locked out of room twice due to faulty keys, moved to another room which had a full dishwasher and fridge. Rooms were disgusting will forward photos to property manager who wasn’t interested. Won’t be recommending this company to anyone very disappointed ☹️

- Charn (6/5): - Sofa bed is broken, it wouldn’t fold into position. I have noticed damage on one side of folding mechanism and the whole thing is quite wobbly. Bathtub drained was very slow draining, water built up during the shower. This led to potential major hazard after soapy water drained out but left very slippery filmed surface in the bathtub. The location and car park are great. Having washing machine and drier in your own apartment is definitely a plus.
- Jasvinder (4/5): - I didnt like that this property is owner residence. It was not advertised as one. I would not have booked if i knew. I felt i was cheated and paid too much for this air bnb like property. It gives you an air bnb experience with owners stuff and chained padlock on spaces not accessible. What an uncomfortable feeling and such an eyesore the chained cupboard doors were. I will never book another property from expedia as i no longer trust the properties advertised.

If the cleaners don’t notice something as obvious as that and notify management how much attention and care is actually taken? If management know, why was it not fixed, but entire rate charged? Very disappointing, especially in the current climate

Really good facilities for kids, who don’t feel the cold and will swim in the outdoor pools in July!!!! Rooms had everything we needed, Restaurant was good, with good variety of food. With restrictions, the property have adjusted well. We’d definitely go back :)

- Verified traveler (6/5): - The location is very good, close to beach, rooms are big, comfortable, large shower. Our booking was managed by Surf Coast Rentals, in our room there were stickers everywhere saying what you can or can not do! Didn’t like that there was no linen change, cleaning your room or replenishing the amenities and NO wifi! There were strict instructions to wash the dishes before you leave, but no detergent provided. I thought especially these days with COVID, this should have left to the staff to do, to be sure that everything is properly cleaned and sanitised. The key card for the garage didn’t always worked , others, like us, had to reverse back up and swipe again.
- nick (8/5): Good comfortable rooms - This is the fifth time we have stayed here. We stay in the part managed externally by holiday rentals, as it's better value. The rooms are always comfortable and well appointed. The facilities at the resort are great and happy hour downstairs is also great. Some things need upgrading in the rooms and a little maintenance here and there, but generally very good.

The room was fine but the bathroom and kitchen were quite dirty. The parking was free on site but always full and the spaces were very tight; especially if you own a SUV. We were only issued with one key which was annoying as we didn’t have much freedom to split up much. The location was good and close to shops and across the road from the beach. A good weekend away but little overpriced for what we got.

Thats where the good review finishes, so now the rooms. The carpets are filthy and the bathroom had cobwebs. Balcony also had cobwebs and needed a good sweep.

We were disappointed we were asked to wash the dishes before leaving but only given the bathroom sink without any detergent to do so. There were holes in the wall from where a towel rail was supposed to be and the fly wire screen did not keep out any bugs.

- Verified traveler (4/5): - Unfortunately this room was owned separately from the main resort and we found it to be small, there was quite a stale smell in the room possibly from the obvious water leak from the shower that was wrotting the timber and the badly patched carpet square. The rest of the carpet was putrid. The bed was uncomfortable and sank into the middle. The air conditioning was barely working and needed maintenance as it didn’t keep the room cool. We checked out after 1 night and was meant to stay 2nights. When I mentioned the issues to the realestate they just said they would make a note of it but quickly charged me for the 2 nights with no offer of discount!!
