- SHfly747 (10/5): Perfect - Lovely hotel overlooking a marina and a 10 minute uber ride from Cruise port. Check in was excellent, friendly and efficient and offered a glass of cava whilst checking in. Room was modern and clean, love the bedside tables….very arty and the whole cube lights up. Bathroom, although dark lighting and gloomy tiles actually acted as a modern seductive area. Amenities fab. Staff fab. Breakfast is amazing, all the continental section and the waitress asks what you’d like to order from the menu so all cooked fresh, and it was just perfect. Highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful highlight: birthday surprise delivered with a smile to our room on the second evening. Cake & cava - a kind and thoughtful touch. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel location is ideal, within walking distance of so many sites and sights, and near the water. Highly recommended.

The room was warm, clean and fabulously equipped. The staff went beyond to ensure we had a warm welcome including a glass of fizz. Without exception this hotel offers great value for money and should be considered for your next trip to Barcelona!

- torontohometown (8/5): Great location, amazing breakfast - Great boutique hotel in a very accessible location. Short walk to gothic quarter, aquarium, close to cruise ship terminals, and hop on/off bus practically at the door (across the street). This hotel is ideal for a romantic getaway but not great for toddlers/young children with light switches easily reachable (adult hip level) and open bathroom with no locks on the doors. We were on the 2nd floor facing another building and the evenings were quite nosy from the restaurants below. Breakfast was incredible with à la carte hot options and plenty of breads/pastries/juices/meats, etc… Staff were super helpful with directions and arranging a taxi to the hotel while nearby streets were closed for a 10km race. They have cots for babies by request. The gym on the 5th floor had all the basics, but a bit small and cramped if more than one person was working out in there.

Great location, super clean and modern and to all local eateries, which was amazing. Every staff member we interacted with was helpful, professional and courteous. - bailyhowth (10/5): Fab hotel and staff - I love this hotel..from the minute you enter it until you leave. The staff are so friendly. Rooms are really comfortable with amazing rain shower. Love the rooms with the marina view but alas not always available . The side street rooms are also great. Breakfast is great if you are a meat eater but maybe lacks a bit for a vegetarian. Despite that I still score it a full 5 out of 5. This must have been my 5th trip here and despite travelling solo this time still loved it. I will be back!
- 301gusc (10/5): Birthday special treat - Had a brilliant long weekend in this H10 hotel it's well positioned for the harbour /port and all its amenities, aldo a short walk into the gothic quarter and all that has to give with food and drink and atmosphere, the open top bus tour [a must do ] bus stop is outside or round the corner Alex on reception was brilliant booking the tour and taxis, very helpful with his time and knowledge the hotel was spotless clean with a rooftop bar, buffet style breakfast with cook to order food also, staff all brilliantly help and multilingual,

- hannahmR9899SW (10/5): Wonderful stay by the Marina - A wonderful stay post cruise, 15 mins from the port. We got screwed over with a cruise port taxi that charged us 40euro as we didn’t realise it was a fixed rate, would suggest doing uber as it was 20euros on there. Really friendly staff and beautiful comfy rooms. The little pool and sun deck is beautiful with views of the marina. The pool is small and shallow so nice for a little dip but you couldn’t really swim in it. Quick walk down to the beach and lots of restaurants and bars nearby. We ate at the hotel and the food was really yummy and an affordable price for a hotel. They gave us chocolate strawberries in our room which was a such a special extra. Just under 1hr to the airport, we booked our transfer with booking.com and it was really easy and cost 25euro.
- jenniferfZ7021MK (10/5): Nice Clean Hotel, Great Location, Would Stay There Again - We recently stayed at H10 Port Vell in July 2025 in one of the connecting rooms with our adult children in one room and my husband and I in the other. The hotel itself was clean and quite lovely. The rooftop was a little smaller than I thought it would be but was still a nice option to have as we visited the rooftop one afternoon as well as in the evening. The breakfast option is basically one price for all you can eat from both a buffet and an order for whatever you want. I wouldn't want to do that every day as we didn't eat enough for the value, but was a nice option for the one day that we did. The hotel was also a great location and within 5-10 minute walk, we were able to board the hop on and off bus, get to shops, restaurants, Gothic Quarter, etc. Overall, this was a pleasant experience and I would stay there again.
- LynneM1325 (10/5): A gem at the centre of Barcelona. - What a welcome we received when we arrived! We were greeted by a friendly staff who gave us all a lovely glass of Prosecco. This hotel is central to everything and has beaches, restaurants and tapas bars close by. There is a small pool on top floor and a bar serving food snd refreshing drinks. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfasts are lovely. You can rent bicycles from Yes4Rent near the beach at exceptionally good prices.

The rooms are really clean and well furnished and those with views over the marina are fantastic. The rooftop splash pool, sunbeams, and bar are a great place to relax after a day of exploring the city. I have previously stayed with my sister for a short trip and, once again, it did not disappoint. The rooms are lovely, well-appointed, and clean. The free water and Rituals toiletries are a nice touch. Our breakfast was brilliant, with both a la carte and buffet options. The highlight was definitely the rooftop plunge pool with views over the Port. The hotel is in a brilliant location, only a short stroll to the Gothic Quarter and very close to the metro and bus stops for those who wish to venture further afield.

- sarahsS6861RB (4/5): SLEEPLESS IN BARCELONA - If you plan to book a hotei in Barcelona prior to a cruise or flight to get a good night’s sleep, this is NOT the hotel for you. The hotel has many restaurants within a 2 block walking distance. There is a pay n park parking lot in front of the hotel. There is a walking/bike path with benches in front of the parking lot. In front of the bike path is a street with heavy traffic (horns, police sirens, ambulance sirens) When the restaurant bar and wait staff end their shift in the early morning, they gather in the parking lot or walking path and you will be hearing drunken talking, laughing, cursing, singing until the early hours of the morning. One restaurant threw a party with a band on a Sat nite and the noise did not stop until the sun came up. None of the guests got any sleep that nite, including the family across the hall with the toddler. I felt so sorry for them. Barcelona is a town that never sleeps and you definitely will not get sleep here on any nite of the week.

- geegriff (10/5): Lovely hotel in a great location. - Located very centrally to lots of bars, restaurants, the beach and marina. Only a 20 minute taxi from the airport. Lovely welcome at check in with complimentary cava. We arrived early, room wasn’t ready but we could store our bags so we could go out and explore. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a hotel. Continental cold selection was varied and delicious. Hot food was ordered fresh from a menu. The rooftop plunge pool and bar area is lovely, gets the sun all day. Food and drink up there also great. Rooms were clean and modern. Complimentary daily water provided and mini bar payable if you wish.

- DanC296 (8/5): Location, location, location - We enjoyed a short stay overlooking one of Barcelona's harbors. Nice rooms, good service and plenty of restaurants and sites within walking distance. We enjoyed the respite of the rooftop lounge (lunch) as well as the buffet breakfasts to start our days. The best attribute about this hotel was the location with the nearby metro stop connecting us to Barcelona cites further than we cared to walk.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. Very comfortable room. Inviting lobby. Cool rooftop bar for a nightcap. Excellent breakfast with made-to-order options. Excellent staff and service. Loved our stay. Wish we were staying longer!

- Ob1rachey (10/5): Lovely place ! thank you x - Where to start. Our first impression was lovely with a glass of fizz and two very welcoming team members. We were checked in efficiently and luckily our room was ready. Before that though one of the receptionists took the time to talk to us about our stay and helpfully gave us a map of Barcelona and pointed everything pit to us and gave us some very useful tips! On to our room, I had upgraded to a port view and it was worth the money. View was beautiful, room was a reasonable size, clean, large bathroom with ritual toiletries. The breakfast was delicious loads of options and an a la carte choice menu for hot items. Very good standard and very welcoming staff. Thank you, we will be back.

Hotel reception team was excellent, especially Gorba, really helpful when we had trouble getting into our safe. Also breakfast was lovely & great you could choose from a menu. Krystal who worked at breakfast time was really nice too.
- QueenslandTommy (10/5): Perfect for a short stay - A beautiful greeting on checking in with a glass on Cava offered. The room was suitable for a 2 night stay, large comfortable bed , complimentary water daily , powerful large shower , small balcony overlooking the Marina. Breakfast was a treat with so much cold variety , a menu is provided for hot dishes cooked to order. The staff make the hotel , English was spoken very well . The location we felt was ideal , close to the Marina for restaurants and a shopping Mall , and the Gothic part of Barcelona is a 5 minute walk.
- Hobar (10/5): Perfect hotel - We had just come from H10 in Lisbon and were so pleased to find the same warm and friendly welcome, with a glass of champagne. Great rooftop bar with lovely service. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable, with a cute little Juliet balcony and view of the old residential street. Great location in walking distance to the port and its restaurants, the old town and the Ramblas.
- md_fretwell (10/5): First class accommodation - An amazing hotel. Location is great for all the main attractions, instant access to the metro, tourist bus and marina. The hotel exceeded our expectations. Modern, spotless and had everything you could want. The staff were very friendly and helpful and couldn’t fault them in any way. I would say one of the best hotels I have stayed in. Excellent Indian restaurant next door and plenty of places to eat in close proximity.

- Christopher (10/5): - Lovely harbour view room on the fourth floor. The hotel is in an excellent location with all attractions, eateries and the beach within easy walking distance. You are close to the main roads so some degree of traffic noise is to be expected but that wasn’t an issue from our perspective. The room was a perfect size with good on-suite facilities. The two ladies on reception who greeted us on arrival were extremely helpful. We didn’t try the hotel breakfast which looked okay but I would say there are far better alternatives awaiting you outside! I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

The people working in the front desk were professional and helpful and we signed up for the H100 club. We’re looking forward to other days. Make sure you go up and have a beverage at the roof rooftop pool. The layout chairs are great.

- niamhc855 (10/5): Amazing - We stayed as a couple in our 20’s in mid January. We had an amazing time. We want to say a big thank you to Garbon working in reception as we arrived late on the first night and we were asking if there is anywhere open for food and there was not so he brought us a plate of croissants. The hotel is in an amazing area with the hop on hop off bus stop right across the road. There are lovely markets on a Saturday and Sunday across the road also. It is only a 5 minute walk from the old town of Barcelona which is amazing and a 5 minute taxi to plaça de Catilonia. The zoo is a 12 minute walk from the hotel and the aquarium and shopping centre is right across the boardwalk. There are lovely restaurants around the area too. I would recommend the ones across the road down by the marina. The rooms are gorgeous, very Morden and always clean. We didn’t choose to have breakfast the the hotel so I cannot comment on the food. Overall we had an amazing experience

The location is perfect, situated right by the marina with breathtaking views of the port. The rooftop terrace offered a serene spot to relax, and the sight of the boats on the water was a beautiful way to start and end the day. The hotel is also within walking distance to some key attractions, making it ideal for exploring the city. The breakfast was a daily highlight, with an excellent variety of options. From fresh pastries to hot dishes and great coffee, everything was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. One delightful touch was the small yet meaningful details the hotel provided. They gifted us a bottle of Sangria and we found chocolates in our room everyday, which added a sweet and personal touch to our stay. Additionally, the hotel provided unlimited bottled water, which was incredibly convenient and appreciated during our days out exploring the city. The staff were truly outstanding. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service throughout our stay, they made us feel at home. They were always ready with a smile, helpful recommendations, and quick responses to any request. Their genuine hospitality truly elevated our experience. H10 Port Vell truly stands out for its combination of excellent service, thoughtful details, and prime location. We’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona!
- scotspro (10/5): Relaxing Stay - H10 Port Vell Hotel – we stayed here just before Christmas for four nights. It was a joy to return to this hotel first visited in 2017. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The room was perfect – view towards the sea. We enjoyed drinks in the bar/reception area as well as on the roof terrace. Breakfast was bountiful, a buffet as well as cooked items to order, again the staff were efficient and friendly. A great location - within walking distance of the hotel we found some great restaurants both for lunch and an evening meal

The staff are amazing and accommodating. The room is beautiful and equipped with everything you need. I highly recommend staying in this hotel.

- savillthehutt (8/5): Nice hotel ideal location - Nice hotel in an ideal location. Just a short walk to the main boardwalk along the beach which goes on for miles. There are also shops, bars and restaurants all within reach. Staff were mostly helpful. I travelled in a wheelchair but only one of the staff was helpful with opening doors etc. I found the bed quite firm so often woke up with a dead arm. We were given chocolates every day and as it was my partners birthday we were sent a bottle of cava and a big slice of cake which was a lovely touch. Beds made, room cleaned and towels swapped every day

- Danielle (8/5): Lovely hotel but requests not met - Lovely hotel but I did request two single beds well in advance but didn’t get them. We did however receive a complimentary bottle of cava which was a nice touch. The room was nice but we had no balcony or view which was also requested. I thought we would have had our requests met seeing as we travelled in November and I had pre contacted the hotel to inform them of a 50th birthday celebration. If we would have had a balcony with a view and the single beds, it would have been perfect.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - This was the 3rd hotel we stayed at and the most expensive, yet our worst experience. Ladies, if you’re trying to get ready in front of a decent or actual mirror, be aware. The mirrors had a dark effect and it was really hard to tell what we were looking at sometimes. There’s no where to hang towels or tolietry bags, except the hooks that were by the front door, which is unpleasant to see towels etc as soon as you walk in. Super dim lights in the bathrooms, safe were annoying, etc. Few other small things that we didn't realize made a big difference. Also, we left a key card in (to allow the AC to continue while we stepped out for coffee. House keeping took it. Thank God we changed our key cards entirely because she tried to return at 6. We had to report it. Otherwise room had a beautiful balcony and views. It's a modern property with lots to do. Do what you will with this info. Hope it helps someone.

We enjoyed lounging by the rooftop pool taking in the view of Barcelona and visiting with fellow travelers. We highly recommend this spot. A & B!!
