So many turtles in the fish pond at lobby I love them . Our twin room has been upgrade to bigger room. The room very big space with private balcony. A breakfast many choices, a pool is amazing on a rooftop with great view day and night.

- 542srengs (10/5): Nice Place to Stay – Clean, Easy, and Helpful People - Great hotel in a good location, you can get anywhere quickly either on foot or by tuk-tuk. The rooftop pool is also great. I would especially like to highlight the staff, they are incredibly friendly and help you with everything, book transport and call people. I have rarely experienced such great service. The room itself is also big enough, the breakfast is very good, and you can also eat in the restaurant, have drinks, or book massages. Value for money is absolutely consistent.
- Julianfin (10/5): Breaking the chain - Sometimes it’s best to forsake the chain hotels. Patio is a fine example. Centrally situated close to the royal palace there are many restaurants nearby. Our welcome was friendly and helpful and this was maintained by every staff member during our stay. Our room was spacious with all amenities including bottled water and fridge. Balcony gave us a pleasant view of the palace. Breakfast was pretty good and with local and western options. The rooftop bar and infinity pool gives excellent views and service again came with a smile. Overall a really good experience.

The rooms are super clean, attractively furnished, and spacious. Semi-open restaurant on the 7th floor, where breakfast is also served. The breakfast buffet was attractively and appetisingly presented and the attentive staff constantly cleaned up. On the 8th floor above is the infinity pool with a cool view of the city and lounge. I also had dinner on the roof terrace every day and was very satisfied every time. Everything was just right here. Very recommended hotel.

My husband and I arrived in Cambodia for a month in January and it was the best of all the hotels we stayed in. Spotlessly clean, great location, beautiful roof top pool, fabulous food and wonderful staff. Unfortunately on day 3 of our trip, my husband became very ill with pneumonia and ended up needing to go to hospital (only 2mins walk away). He had to stay there for 5 nights and it was a very stressful and difficult start to the holiday. The staff at the hotel were so wonderful. They did everything they could to help and we're so kind, letting me take food each day to the hospital, and asking how I was each day. Genuinely warm and kind people. - meganbonner_ (8/5): Nice - great for a couple of days - I recently stayed in Phnom Penh for 2 nights, I won’t go into my thoughts on Phnom Penh but this hotel is up an alley off a main road in the city. The alley has a Domino’s opposite and the street has many western/American fast food outlets on it. My room was on the 6th floor right by the spa so a little noisy at times. The steps by my room led right up to the rooftop infinity pool and restaurant. The pool was really nice and a great sun trap spot, although it would be more peaceful if it wasn’t for the constant drilling/building work. The restaurant offers a main meal, salad and drink lunch deal which offers lots of choice at a great price. I also ordered room service one night when I fancied some non-local food, it was the first dessert I had on my trip and the churros were unbelievable! My room was very wooden and was almost like a studio as the sink and mirror were in my room and then the toilet and shower were seperate doors vs having a traditional bathroom. This hotel was quite simple vs the other two I stayed on during the trip which offered slippers and robes so had a more luxury feel. Unfortunately, I struggled to sleep both nights I stayed here because of the noise of the city. I also work very early on both days, well before my alarm because the blinds were thin curtains so the daylight shone through. My stay was nice but I couldn’t have stayed here longer because of the noise and lack of sleep.

The pool was ok, but the stairs and railings on the top levels seemed hazardous especially for kids (too widely spaced bars). The breakfast was also poor. I expected more since lots of people kept recommending this hotel.

Rooftop infinity pool very clean and good place to relax after lots of sightseeing. Great view of the city too. Helpful, friendly staff with very good English who were keen to talk about their countries turbulent past. Comfy beds. Good shower. We ate there on the last night, asian manjo salad and korean chicken between 2. Was delicous.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Check you change carefully. - I was passed a fake fifty US dollar bill by a staff member as part of change for a US hundred dollar bill. Unfortunately I did it catch it until I went to pay for another transaction after I had already left the city.

Elephant Sky Bar was located at Patio Hotel & Urban Resort, and it opened throughout the best season of the year.

We enjoyed our time at the spa, at the pool, at the breakfast, in the rooms and during the activities organised by the reception ! - varanda (10/5): - had just a one night stay in this property but it was very comfortable for just my one night. i didn't get to use the spa or anything else but the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful from the moment i got in. staff took all my bags upstairs and showed me how to use all the things in the room room was very spacious and i had a balcony that overlooked the neighborhood. the property itself is close to everything and i loved having everything close by

- nickkira2016 (10/5): A classy place - This place is a class apart. It's at least a 4-star hotel, for around £35 per night. The downstairs lobby is bright, spacious, and clean. To the left of reception is a cool sunken seated area, surrounded by a pool/pond full of koi carp (I think) and turtles/terrapins. The lifts seem brand spanking new and my room was large and comfortable. But what makes this place, in my opinion, is the bit on the 7th floor. Downstairs is a seated restaurant area, where all meals are served. Breakfast is lovely (fresh fruit, good coffee, pho, noodles etc) and my dinner there was equally as good. But go up one flight of stairs and there's a rooftop, heated, infinity pool, with views across the whole city of Phnom Penh. I sat in it and watch a tropical electrical storm break across the city. Amazing. Highly recommend this place.

The included breakfast isn’t really worth getting out of bed for, but the paid menu food is good. The rooms are lovely but way too noisy. You can hear everything in the corridor when someone walks past. The construction works next door start at 6am and go on until the afternoon, so you will struggle to sleep. In the evening you will hear the bar next door singing happy birthday on the hour every hour after 6pm. It is worth staying for the price and location, just bring ear plugs.

But unfortunately I’m addicted to them and cannot find them anywhere in Cambodia.

There is a laundry shop just opposite the main entrance which is quite reasonable as well. Mini mart is just around the corner with plenty of food options nearby. Lighting might be a little bit dim for people who are on a business trip. Could hear people chatting from 1st floor eventhough window was tightly shut. If you're sensitive, you can request for a higher floor. Overall amazing hotel with simple breakfast spread and amazing room and facilities.

- HYEON SIK (10/5): Nice hotel in a convenient location - This is a nice little hotel located close to the independence monument. It is close to most areas a visitor might be interested in. The only downside is that the hotel is located in a small alley. However, when I arrived close to midnight, there were a few people in the alley that I did not feel unsafe. I stayed only one night on a business trip. The single room was not big, but I had everything I needed. The wifi connection was surprisingly fast. I was able to download a 500Mb file without trouble. The breakfast served in the rooftop restaurant was very nice. In addition to the continental breakfast buffet, one can order several hot dishes at no extra charge. There is even a rooftop swimming pool which would be very nice on a warm afternoon. I would definitely come back to this place on my next trip to Phnom Penh.

Security then came out to tell us to move. No other seating area to finish our drinks other than by reception! We’d heard great things so were disappointed.

Not exactly walking distance from the Royal Palace and national museum, but only a couple of dollars in a tuk tuk. Grab tuk tuk exists in Phnom Penh and is reliable. The breakfast buffet at the hotel is below par and not worth booking. The a la carte menu and drinks on the other hand are excellent.
