We'll gladly come back and recommend! - The location, interior, exterior, the facilities, and our room were exceptionally clean, well supplied, private, and spacious. The breakfast that was provided was very good, above and beyond my family's expectations. The pool area and hot tub were very well kept and supplied. So many clean and quality services and touches that made our stay so delightful! We'll definitely look to book here again and recommend to friends and family. Its hard to say there was anything about it I didnt like.

Although breakfast is served from 6:30 we were offered fresh hot coffee and pastries at 4 am, had to catch early flight. It got our days started the right way. Very pleasant staff! - Robin (10/5): - Wonderful suite hotel which was clean and very well maintained. Good small kitchen. Breakfast is higher quality than most hotels which include breakfast. High quality gym on the premises with a Peloton and TRX straps along with the customary weights and stationary bike. We used the laundry room which had two washers and two dryers. The only thing we didn't like was the night light in the bathroom which got brighter at night when a person moved closer to it. Also, the hotel is not within walking distance of downtown Durango. Overall, a fantastic place to stay as long as you don't mind driving to the downtown area.

- Marc (8/5): A stop over spot. - Nice place to stay. Rooms are clean and a nice size. The bed was comfortable, the couch was not. The TV was useless, it kept freezing up and losing connection and the controller for the TV did have any control features for menus or guides and no local weather. Breakfast area was clean and well maintained.
- Maura (10/5): - We have stayed at 3 different Homewood Suites by Hilton now, and the Durango one was the most beautiful, likely the newest building, but also the best most helpful staff we have worked with. The amenities were appreciated and if the location wasn't so wonderful we would have used the pool too! But having a laundry, amazing breakfast and local restaurants close by was great! Loved our time here, and will be back. One request though...better quality toilet paper please!! Didn't match rest of hotel.

- Greg (6/5): - We had two rooms. Total bill of about $750. On arrival we requested quiet rooms on the top floor. We were placed on the second floor directly over the front drive porte cochere with one of our rooms also directly across from the elevator. Family of stompers and runners above us up half the night kept us awake. We made a simple request and were blantedly lied too and decieved. I have worked in Hotels for 49 years. I know the B.S.. At least be honest and do your best. Sure you tried to played it sweet and nice. So charming! Than you stuck us in terrible rooms. Facilities great! Hospitality and honest engagement terrible. The attendants at the breakfast buffet avoided us like the plague. I had a pocket full of cash for just one good morning and a smile! Nothing! You have a great product. Be Genuine with Hospitality!
- Denise (8/5): - The property and stay was just great. The Wednesday happy hour was perfect. The room had a primary light switch that was confusing and I turned it on in the middle of the night and woke everyone up int the bedroom. That needs to be addressed.

Dog friendly, and on Wednesday evening… free wine tasting with ordorvs, soup and salad and mingling with staff and guests…I WILL BE BACK

- HUGO (10/5): - The Homewood Suite have a good location it's not far from downtown is like 10 minutes or less driving. I like this property because it has almost everything you need like you have a grill on the patio if you want to cook something outside for you or your family or friends. In the room have small little kitchen where you have a regular big size refrigerator, small electric stove, big microwave, and you have a dishwasher in case you use the plates or cups from the room is almost to be at home.

- Robert (9/5): Zoell was Outstanding - Zoell was Outstanding. We received a personal text from him when we checked in. He gave us excellent suggestions for dinner and ice cream afterwards. My daughter really liked the fitness center. We liked the suite setup with a door between the rooms. Nice liquid hand soap when some hotels are still using soap bars. The shower was very good too. The beds comfortable. Nice to have recycing bins on each floor. I did not like the breakfast, no healthy yogurt, all options were sweetened. I suggested to Zoell to add some plain Greek yogurt no added sweeteners. Basically the breakfast is catered to young children with almost everything being very high carb, from the very unhealthy fruit juices, to cereals, to high carb bagels, etc. Only the walnuts, powdered eggs and ham were semi-healthy. Boiled eggs would be welcome. Homewood Suites has one of the worst, most unhealthy breakfasts of the 3-star hotel chains.

- 3fredericks (10/5): Great Hotel in Durango! - This is an excellent hotel in a good location for a visit to Durango. The hotel itself is physically up-to-date, clean, and comfortable, which turned out to be even more important than we originally thought as we ended up being stuck in Durango for about four days longer than planned due to car trouble. With one exception (for which the management apologized and compensated us), the staff was very kind and helpful as we dealt with the car issue. Special thanks to the housekeeping staff, which are probably the best that we have EVER encountered in our many travels over the years. Highly recommended hotel!
- OrlandoGator (10/5): Perfect Lengthy Stay - We just finished our second extended stay here. The hotel has maintained a high level of service. They are always working in the upkeep of the property…hanging outside lights, replacing grill grates, refreshing the pictures on the wall. Odell and the front desk crew took very good care of us. Hewey and the housekeeping crew did a great job keeping our room clean. Blossom and the breakfast crew provided a great breakfast to start our day. They rotated the hot food each day. We will return soon. An REI, our favorite sports store, is opening up right next door.
- Departure55902818723 (10/5): 6-nights at Homewood Durango - In May 2025 we spent 6 nights in a "King Suite" at the Homewood Suites in Durango. The A/C was cold, the shower had good water pressure, the bed was very comfortable, and the room was clean. Breakfast had a good variety of choices. This hotel is convenient [within 2-miles] to the historic district; and a shopping center with a walmart.

Friendly staff and excellent breakfast as well. Would stay here again and highly recommend! It would have been nice to be closer to the historical downtown center.

The rooms are perfect size and have extra pillows and enough towels. Parking was easy and so clean. Ice is not far from our room and we ordered our dinner from dominoes down the street. The room was ok , although dated. Well located for a stop on the way to Colorado, but could be more guest welcoming.

- CornfieldsIllinois (10/5): Very well managed hotel - There is something to be said about a hotel where the management has been consistent for over 10 years. We have stopped at this location many times over the past 10 years and are so impressed with the management at the front desk and the management in general. They always go over and above what any customer would expect. We would like to mention the front desk help of Mickey she really knows how to listen to the needs of the customer and respond accordingly. That being said the entire staff is outstanding.

She was eavesdropping on a conversation with my spouse. I told him to get two forks since we had no clean ones in our room.

And Wednesday happy hour was fantastic. The breakfast was top notch and the hotel was the cleanest I’ve stayed in in years. 10/10. Will be back.
