Mariela and Agustina were so helpful before we even arrived, arranging a driver to wineries, tickets to Vendemia and a beautiful private dinner cooked by a premier chef from the Mendoza region in the Casa Lila private garden. The grounds, bedrooms and breakfasts were absolutely perfect. We loved this Casa Lila! Thank you to Mariela, her family and staff for welcoming us into this 4 room bed and breakfast. Nothing!

• Mark (10/5): Wish we could stay longer! - We stayed only one night here because we were at the end of our visit to the province and had to fly home. At the beginning of our visit to Mendoza, we stayed in another B and B (also excellent) and wanted to return to the same area. The location is excellent--our Uber to the airport took only 16 minutes! It's in a very quiet and walkable area of the city, close to Parque San Martin and downtown, and to a number of excellent restaurants and cafes. The room was quiet and comfortable, and the property is like a little oasis in the city, beautifully landscaped with plants and trees. The breakfast was the best we had over the course of our month in Uruguay and Argentina--and we had some excellent breakfasts! Nothing--everything was excellent!
• Tiffany (10/5): Absolute pleasure staying at Casa Lila, would recommend this to everyone. Highlight of our trip!! - This accommodation and stay was the best / highlight of our trip. We had a warm welcome, the room was comfortable and clean. You could even hang out in the courtyard, where they had different spaces for you to work, read, drink wine, anything really. The employees and owner were amazing and super helpful. Was always there to help with questions or options on acitivites. Was served breakfast each morning, yoghurt, granola, fruit, eggs, toast and coffee!! They even had their dog wondering around the property which was a special treat while traveling. She is protective of the guests staying there. Couldn’t fault our stay here. Location was perfect. Nothing !!!

The breakfast was excellent, the room comfortable, the staff excellent (our thanks to Agustina and Maria) who made us feel very welcome. Casa Lila is full of plants and greenery and is very quiet. It's only a short walk to the main part of town, restaurants and some of the main plazas.

Quartos com aquecimento e ae condicionado. Chegamos e noite e ficamos preocupados ao ver por fora porque realmente é uma casa, não parece um hotel. Mas fui recebida muito bem e logo que entramos vimos que o local é muito bem arrumado. Não gostei do chuveiro ser em cima da banheira. Porém o local estava limpo e bem arrumado. Pouca opcão para o café da manha, mas estava tudo gostoso.

Mariela and her husband Pablo are wonderful people and make you feel at home. Maria, their coworker, prepares excellent breakfasts and is super charming too. The dog Violeta is super friendly too! The place is nicely decorated with plenty of details. They give you plenty of tips about the region and other places in Argentina like Bariloche too. If we go back to Mendoza we will stay at Casa Lila again for sure. Nothing

But the staff is what really makes this place wonderful! The hospitality is second to none and makes you feel instantly at home. This was very welcome after 6-weeks of travel and a bumpy flight! We were sad to leave Casa Lila. Nothing!

O café da manhã é completo e delicioso... pra comer devagar sentindo o momento, não falta nada e tudo feito com carinho... os sorrisos são sinceros... é dificil explicar mas eles criaram um ambiente onde vc se sente muito confortavel e em casa... amei cada segundo que passei lá!! Se vc se hospedar em outro lugar em Mendoza vc vai estar fazendo errada sua experiancia em Mendoza... fiquei outros dias em outras hospedagens pra conhecer e só aumentava minha raiva de ter ecolhido outro local e não ter ficado mais dias lá.

There are Egyptian cotton sheets, duck-down duvets, homemade breakfasts, a pretty garden with day-beds and even a genial dog, Violetta. The Casa and the owner are just charming and I loved my stay here....

• Philipp (7/5): Loved the Bernese Mountain dog - Loved the Bernese Mountain dog. The dog was always happy when our ways crossed. The room is basic. The rooms are around a small courtyard and you can sit in the courtyard. Just be aware of the mosquitos. The staff/owners/administrators are always around and offering services (like coffee or water) or information about the area and what to do. The owners/administrators speak perfectely English. It is very quiet in the night. The breakfast 🍳 is in a nice setting and you can order the eggs 🥚 the style you like (but you have to ask for it). They prepare fresh juices 🥤 as well. Very good breakfast. Especially Augustina went the extra mile for a great customer experience! The room doesn’t offer much space for your own food or to eat something small in the room, but they set you a table in the courtyard, if you just want to eat something small at night instead of going to the restaurant. We had a twin room and it was not a fixed linen so it was loose at night and sometimes the naked mattress came out. An extra garbage bin in the room (not only the super small one in the bathroom) would be nice. The boiler does not heat very quickly (common in Argentina). The bathroom has no window or ventilation. The booking is in USD but they convert to ARS paying by card. They take an extra 2% on the exchange rate (they converted 1 USD into ARS 1’072.- while the Spot was at that moment 1 USD for ARS 1’051.-). Casa Lila is not a bank and therefore it should be the Spot rate. The Booking confirmation is in USD and it would be nicer if A) They would charge me in USD as it is in other countries or B) The Booking confirmation would be in ARS so no conversion needed. There is no fridge in the room, but you can store in the fridge of their kitchen. In Booking on the services it says they do laundry at an extra cost. They do not. They recommended me a laundry nearby with a 2.7 Google rating and the impression there was that the rating is probably correct. Did not take the risk and brought the laundry to a place a little further away (Bubbles) which was absolutely great. Still they should not state that they do laundry 🧺 if they don’t. The wooden doors do not fit exactly in the frame, so the bathroom door could not be closed. Regarding the keys you need some learning to do in order you know how they work.

It's tastefully decorated with a refined eye, making you feel surrounded by beauty well integrated to the space. The room and bathroom are generous in size, the bed is large and very comfortable and the linen is top quality.The owner and staff are genuinely welcoming, accommodating and friendly. And Violeta the dog is the icing on the cake, providing you with a homey welcoming everytime you come 'home' Nothing. Pure perfection.

Also short walk to restaurants/center of town If you are on the second floor there is no elevator but staff will help with luggage and it is not steep

It was a beautiful, green, quiet oasis in Mendoza, with good eating (including gelato!) within easy walking distance. The room was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Breakfast was delicious. And the staff were so kind and helpful. We also loved Violeta, the dog! We would 100% stay again. N/A
