Matthew (10/5): Great hotel and great location - The location was great, free parking at the hotel, the room was clean and spacious and had views across the park. Staff were very friendly at reception, they even put a special balloon and card in the room on arrival, a real nice touch. Definitely recommend.

Justin (8/5): If your after a convenient location, sat at the Mercure. - It was clean, tidy and rooms were easily accessible and well marked to what direction to take, especially as for me as my room was on a split level and having directions well marked made it easy to locate The sinks in the bathroom were too high for me and made it a little awkward to wash my face of a morning without getting water on the floor.

By the time you have finished your shower the fire alarms almost about to go off or the toilet paper is soggy from all the moisture. The vanity is coming apart, also from the moisture. Hotel room is very small & the breakfast is average. Not enough staff on duty either. Overrated and note worth the money you are charged! Should be $180 a night not $260

Given a room on the ground floor nearest busy Brisbane street. It’s located next to a busy round about. Road noise was our issue. Breakfast was included and exceptional.

The overall experience did not meet expectations for the price. The room was quite small and basic, with limited amenities compared to similar hotels. There were also some cleanliness and maintenance issues, which affected the overall comfort. In addition, the surrounding environment was not ideal and could be noisy depending on the room location.

cpr2exs (6/5): A former motel now a Mercure - Property was of similar appearance to the neighbouring motels before Accor branded it a Mercure. The nicest rooms face Brisbane St and City Park. We got Room 213 which also has more space. The bathrooms are abit squeezy with a tiny washbasin and a massive spout. Good water pressure and comfy bed. A good feature is that the windows can open to allow fresh air in esp in the cool evenings. Reception is not manned 24 hours and the attached restaurant doesn’t operate on Sundays.

The location is right in front of city park, very nice view, and plenty place to park my car I got nothing to complain, everything is nice and comfy. I would like to stay there again when I visit Launceston in the future. Everything is awesome.

Solymar (8/5): - I loved the location and the room. It was very nice and clean. I loved having a fridge to keep my snacks in, and the wine was amazing as well, great value. The bathroom was super modern, with great water pressure. the room was a great size as well. I really don't have that many complaints; however, the two things that could have been better: my room needed a new mattress. I could feel the side of the bed where most people slept on as it was slightly snuck in. The second thing was that my air conditioner was leaking water (small drips) if I left it on for too long. Other than these things, it was 10/10 stay for me for the price!

It’s SO clean, has a mini bar with great options, it’s just a short walk to the centre of town and such great value for money. The staff are very accommodating and the lady at reception was more than happy to help me book another room at the last minute due to my flight being cancelled. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. What’s not to like!
