Guest Reviews
- Joseph (10/5): - Lisa and Arturo were awesome!
- Carol (10/5): - Comfortable clean, very friendly staff and helpful. Would stay here again !
- Suren (8/5): - Economical
- LUISANA (2/5): - Ripped off
- Christopher (10/5): - Cheap and moderately safe compared to most of Peru
- CARY (8/5): - All of the small hotels near the airport are in a low income, rough area, because the airport is. ha. This hotel is low budget yes, but clean, with a shuttle for 20 usd roundtrip. Very nice staff.
- Michelle (10/5): - It's a small motel. Front staffs are very friendly and helpful. It is goog for one night to catch the flight in the next day.
- Belqees (6/5): - You get what you pay for. I enjoyed it except for the horrible smell in the hotel & inside my room it was making me sick as it smelled like bloody tampons then I found out it was fish. It was hot but they do have a fan with a timer so I constantly had to get up every 45 minutes to turn it on again.
- EMILIO (10/5): - THE BEST 5 STAR
- Seniasor (8/5): - Great app people, very servicial and safe location.
- Raymundo (10/5): - I highly recommend
- John (10/5): - Extremely courteous, professional and friendly. Very helpful and just pleasant overall, I'd recommend this establishment to all my fellow travellers.
- Stephen (10/5): - Staff was very helpful and friendly.
- Jeremy (10/5): - Nice location near the airport. Book a car in advance and they will be waiting for you with a sign. For the price the rooms were clean and the staff was excellent. The shower was hot just took a little bit for it to warm up.
- CARY (10/5): - the shuttle service gentleman is very polite and helpful, but does only speak spanish.
the reception lady was a nice young girl.
the entire area near the LIMA airport is industrial. I cannot blame that on a tiny hotel trying to offer a service. I would not walk about at night, but by day a little bit.
- Angelica (10/5): Great hotel - I booked this hotel to get a tattoo. The lady at the front was very helpful. I'd stay here again for sure.
- John (8/5): - This is a good place for close to LIM airport in transit stays or early morning flights. Liz the front desk person is very helpful and patient. With so many rude people out there everywhere as hotel staff the fact that Liz was courteous, helpful, and polite is enough to motivate me to go back in the future. I am usually in Peru at least twice per year starting many years ago. Also, the hotel obviously puts a lot of effort into cleanliness. This is very good as many simple hotels in Peru do the very minimum or less! The only constructive criticism I have is to possible change showers in drains to better flowing ones. Thank you for a nice stay!
- Maria de Lourdes (8/5): - Close to airport, very helpful staff
- Oscar (4/5): - This hotel is for one night only. The staff doesn’t help with your luggage, so come prepared to carry your luggage for 2-3 stories on very narrow stairs; no elevator. Rooms are super small; literally, the bed is next to the wall, with no space for anything else. Not recommended if you are looking to relax after your flight. Breakfast was good, though.
- Raymond (8/5): - Simple overnight stay from airport
- Romel (6/5): - Location was good for one night at best. Wouldn't stay longer- no elevator, no AC, credit card has surcharge (if you decide to pay with credit card)
- Verified traveler (10/5): HOMEMADE BREAKFAST - GOOODDD BREAKFAST SO GOOOD HOMEMADE
- Verified traveler (10/5): TASTY - THE BREAKFAST WAS SO GOOODDD, HOMEMADE
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Property located in an unsafe location although very close to the airport
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This hotel is a tremendous value for the money! I arrived at 2am, and they had a taxi waiting for me outside for $10US, and the taxi owner was so nice and spoke English that I'm now using him to get around Lima. The room and bed were very comfortable and included a fantastic breakfast: omelet, breakfast roll, small carafe of OJ, and coffee. But the most important thing was that the staff was so nice and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel to anybody, but especially late-arriving passengers.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The people here are so nice and the hotel is pretty but there is so much noise and stuff going on outside.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - No complains at all, great service!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This is perfect for night during traveling. Their service is amazing
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Wonderful service. Arranged shuttle, ordered takeout, arranged covid testing at the hotel (to avoid quarantine). Nothing fancy, simple but clean.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Wonderful service. Staff spoke Spanish and English. Arranged shuttle service, got food delivered and even arranged Covid testing to avoid quarantine at the hotel. Nothing fancy, but clean.
- Ana (8/5): Recommend for flights lay overs - We were looking for a place to stay between flights. Get some sleep and a shower. Through their What’s up, we where able to fix the transfer to take us there, since our plane arrived at midnight. The room was nice with a king bed and the breakfast was good.
- Y b (6/5): For in transit few hours sleep - Simple basic convenient for a close to theairport few hours sleep between flights. No frills at all. Very sparse breakfast.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - will recommend great services come and see you will like it
- Christian (8/5): Ideal to get your head down between flights. - Adequate for what we needed which was a one night stop over between flights.
This was more of a hostel than a hotel and ideal if you have a very short time and just want a bed for the night.
Driver picked us up no problems and the staff were very good and helpful.
Breakfast was good too.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great place for a quick overnight near Lima airport. My single room was very tiny, but good enough for one quick night. The staff was friendly, and made me a bagged breakfast as I was leaving before breakfast started. The transfer I arranged was there waiting for me at the airport, no problems. Not luxury, but a comfortable bed and a hot shower.
- Jackie (6/5): - Would not recommend it, not easy to find even for our local taxi driver. Room is soso, clean but small. Service not the best, we asked for water and only at checkout they asked us to pay...should tell us ahead of time. Breakfast was disappointing
- Glen (8/5): - Good value for the price. Good breakfast. Not the Hilton but adequate and close to airport.
- Jose (6/5): - This is no rea hotel, is like a hostel guest house. Don’t have clean amenities and basic service.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Staff was friendly.
Didn't feel safe in the neighborhood.
There's no sign, you think you are going to a hotel, but you are going to a house with rooms.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Simple, inexpensive hotel for a quick overnight near the airport. Rooms are simple but very clean and comfortable. Simple breakfast with eggs cooked to order included. For a small fee they will pick you up and drive you back to the airport. Staff was very friendly and efficient.
- Jon (10/5): - Lovely hotel- modern, tastefully updated with caring and helpful staff. Absolutely recommend.
- Roger (6/5): Stopover stay - I knew it is not a luxurious hotel by reading other people's review. I have kind of expected the condition and neighbourhood of the hotel. However the plane noise and dogs' barking at midnight are really intolerable. Also the stairs are not wide and lucky i didn't have my large luggage with me. Otherwise I cannot imagine how I can transport my luggage up for 2 floors. I will consider another property or simply pay 10 times to stay at one of the 2 proper airport hotel.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Sketchy Location - Arrived at night and the location was very scary. It was very dark and no signs for the hotel. My taxi driver said the area was not safe. I ended up staying at another hotel.
- vero (10/5): - Next time I come to Peru, I'll stay here. The rooms are clean and there is a fan for the summer time. There is hot water and laundry services. The staff is really helpful. They have answered every single question I had today. The place is like 10 minutes away from the airport. I am really glad I chose this place. And the price is good. I even ordered food and they delivered to my room! Can't ask for better service than that ! P.s. my best friend stayed here too and she really liked it too.
- Emily (8/5): Great for quick night before flight - Good value for the location. We stayed here with an early morning flight. The lady at the front desk was lovely and helpful. Note don’t use the shuttle - it’s cheaper to get a cab
- Alicia Rosalía (10/5): Great for it's price - A bit out of town but nice, clean, and cozy. Great price.
- robert (10/5): lima airport hotel - Close to the airport, perfect for hanging out til your next flight depart. Had dinner there, excellent food.
- Ashley (10/5): Shady neighborhood but hotel is gated so feels saf - Perfect for a 1 day layover, food is able to be ordered in and they have tv and a pool table. Breakfast was included and simple yet tasty.
The shuttle driver saved us from another sketchy hostel so we were very appreciative. Would recommend to anyone who has a layover.
- Claudia (10/5): - For the price...is super..hot water..clean..comfortable..and minutes from Peru Airport
- Jaclyn (8/5): Good airport stay! - We liked this hotel for an overnight airport stay. The front desk staff is wonderful and the room is basic, but exactly what we needed. It's in a noisy area and nothing to walk to, but we didn't mind because it was just to catch some sleep before our next flight. I will stay here again for sure.
- Carlos (4/5): Close to the airport - Hotel located in a very bad neighbourhood. Definitely not a tourist area. It's actually more of an industrial area.
If all you are looking for is a place to have a shower and stretch your legs between long haul connections, than it's ok. Other than that not recommended.
Hellen at the reception is a lovely young lady, full of life and willing to go the extra mile to accomodate your needs.
- Natalie (6/5): Safe and obliging to the international traveler - They spoke English, provided a nice simple continental, great wifi, and stored my luggage. The shuttle was easy to figure out. But the room had a window into their utilities room, didn't lock.
- Mary (8/5): Good, close to the airport - Everything was good, except that the room has not air-conditioned, the staff were very nice, helpful and always with a smile. Thanks
- Abi (8/5): Cosy little spot - The room I had was not the same as the one in the picture, but it was marvelous to have my own space after 2 days in transit. The attached bathroom was fine, and the fan in the room was a life saver in the humidity. If I stayed there again, I would see about getting a bigger room. Safe area though & staff were wonderful!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Hotel close to Lima Airport - We only stayed a couple of hours until our flight left in the middle of the night.
Location of the hotel is great.
Drop off and pick up to and from the airport is available. Great service and on time.
The room is clear, it's got a great kitchen and a roof top hang out zone, which was great to just chill.
- SUK MAN (8/5): Convenient and warm hotel - I arrived Lima late in the night and taking another flight earlier morning from Lima again. Hotel provide a service with US$20 for picking me up at the airport and sending me to airport in the next early morning with the same driver. The location is great. About 5-10mins drive from airport. Quick check-in with a cool welcome bottled water. Wifi is strong even my room is on 3F. No lift but the hotel staff helped to carry my luggage to 3F. Since I leave on early morning next day, they provide me a packed breakfast for me to enjoy after checking in at the airport.
- Verified traveler (10/5): great service - service was great, and the room was clean
- Rebecca (8/5): - They will offer a shuttle service from airport: TAKE IT! We had a horrible experience with the taxi driver trying to rip us off by saying that he is taking us to a 'dangerous location' and wanted more money... Location was a little sketchy, but the hotel was nice for a short overnight stay.
- Bonnie (6/5): Convenient, but shabby hotel - Shabby small hotel near airport. Very noisy, dogs barking, radios blaring, planes overhead. Very nice breakfast, helpful, friendly reception staff and reliable, reasonably priced car service arranged to and from airport.
- Christina (2/5): Be aware of hidden charges - From the time of my arrival, I realized the location was horrible. It looked like a jail building. Then, when I tried to check in, the lady wouldn't accept my $100 dollar bill because it was "ripped off" (small 1 cm incision in the middle, a bill that was later accepted by another hotel), and wanted me to pay with my credit card. I was then surprised with a 10% hidden charge because I was going to use a card. When I explained that I was only using my card because she refused to accept my bill, she didn't care. I ended up finding another hotel nearby, and for a cheaper rate. That hotel didn't have any issues accepting my $100 "ripped bill"
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Chose hotel because of proximity to airport and advertised pictures. To save money, Uber driver did not pay parking at airport which turned a 6 min drive into 30 mins. Hotel located in residential area behind metal gates. Room was small and had a damp sock odor. Neighborhood was noisy, especially on a Friday night.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice staff, good breakfast. It was close to the airport. The shower was awesome.
- Adam (6/5): Good place for a overnight layover - Perfectly good place to spend the night if you have a short layover and want to stay by the airport. You don't really want to leave the premises, but the staff was very nice and the transfer to the airport is reasonable.
- Anthony (4/5): Stay somewhere else if you want to actually sleep - The pros are the proximity to the airport, the very nice staff, and a decent selection of DirecTV channels.
But as other reviewers have noted, this is not in the nicest neighborhood, so you're not going to do much walking around. Basically the idea is to sleep near the airport and not have to deal with (too much) traffic getting to LIM the next day. What we didn't see in other reviews is that it is so noisy here that you will almost certainly not sleep through the night. The hotel is in the airport light path and apparently Lima allows planes to fly in and out at all hours so you will hear (and feel) planes at 1:28, 2:43, or 3:37 am. Joining the cacophony is loud karaoke somewhere nearby, honking and shouting, and a continual chorus of barking dogs.
If you value sleep, pay a little more, find another place to stay, and leave a little earlier the next day for the airport. Would not wish this on anyone I like.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Comfortable, clean, and close to the airport at an affordable price
- Dave (6/5): Near the airport but not very close to restaurants - We selected this B&B because it was close to the airport and provided a taxi driver to pick us up for an overnight stay between flights. The taxi driver was great and the hotels was good. It is in an industrial sector with no restaurants nearby. As long as you have transportation to get around, this is a good location. If you have tight connections between flights, this is a good choice. .
- Colleen (2/5): Too noisy - If you like to struggle with luggage up a spiral staircase, relax with a cold shower, enjoy a hot room with a noisy pedestal floor fan, sleep with the windows open because it's too hot to close them, listen to jets flying over every 15 mins, listen to cars beep horns and people noisily opening the metal gates to the closed off estate below you, enjoy barking dogs and enjoy the music of a street party in the park opposite you then this hotel is for you. You won't need an alarm clock because the security guards and drivers chatting and laughing in the early hours of the morning will help you wake up. Never again will I select cheap cedaccommodation. You pay for what you get! Have been travelling 3 months. Worst night ever!
- Verified traveler (4/5): Overpriced ugly B&B at Lima airport - We needed to spend one night in Lima in between flights and wanted to be as close to the airport as possible. We thought the price was OK when we booked but when we arrived we thought it was overpriced. The room was clean but sad, super small, and smelled bad. There were people talking loudly in the street below our window during the entire night and we couldn't sleep. The neighborhood is ugly and doesn't feel very safe. With the added cost of the taxi between the hotel and the airport, it seems better to get a room at the airport if available. The staff was friendly, the breakfast OK. Would never go back nor recommend this place.
- Emily (6/5): 3 stars - It was a very nice stay, everybody was helpful and very accommodating. I will definitely reserve this place again if I'll go back to Lima.
- clare (10/5): Best place to stay - Could not have booked a better place! Incredible seevice before arriving with airport pick ups - once arrived it felt like an oasis! Fresh, clean and new! Incredible staff who go above and beyond! Amazing drivers, great advice on what to do and we even got a to go breaky when we left before the kitchen opened! I would stay here if I come back to Lima 120%
- phil (6/5): Horrible area to stay. Nice place bad area - The hotel is in a very sketchy area of Lima Nice if you don't want to go outside. If your looking for a simple over night room this will do the trick. Not for anything more.
- marilyn (6/5): - Our stay was only about 4 hours due to late flight arrival and leaving on next flight am.
This is a very industrial area, near airport, really only used for sleeping.
But rooms are ultra modern, clean, and adequate for short stay. Good staff!
We would stay again for overnight need to be near airport.
- Xiang (4/5): Only a place for overnight stay before your flight - I would only rate this as a place to stay overnight before your flight to Cusco.
The room was very small - smaller than those tiny Manhattan hotel rooms. I thought it was a good price when I booked the hotel but when I arrived I thought it was so over priced.
The shower was nicely hot but the drain was somewhat clogged, and in a minute or two you will be standing in one inch of water. We stayed on the first floor, which is basically the door next to the entrance, and we can hear people talking at the front desk. Maybe other rooms are better.
There were people taking and laughing till 1am on the street or somewhere that I can hear clearly. There were many dogs barking all night.
The airport pick-up service was a little expensive compared with taxi.
- Nancync (8/5): Good hotel 10 minutes from airport - It took about 25 minutes to get there are 6 PM but only 10 minutes at 6 AM. Neighborhood was kind of sketchy with bars on all windows and doors. But the taxi driver escorted me into the hotel. Everything was clean and relatively new. Nice hot shower. Comfortable bed with a TV. Was able to get a pizza at the hotel that was OK. For the price and convenience to the airport, I thought it was fine.
- traveler (8/5): Near Airport good for 1 night inbetween 2 flights - Nice Hotel, very nice Staff, shuttle service good. The area is not at all nice but hotel helps with idea where to go.
- Amanda-Lee (8/5): Convenient airport hotel - very kind - we arrived after 1.00am. Room and hotel very clean and well presented, Very convenient to airport but not an area to walk around.
- Jose Felix (10/5): Great hostal and super close from the airport - It was less than a ten minute ride to the Hostal from the airport. It was perfect for us and the room
, staff and transportation was excellent .
- Verified traveler (6/5): Close to the Airport - this was just an overnight stay as we had an early flight the next day
The hotel is close to Lima airport...in fact so close it seems to be under a direct flight path, if there was a curfew it was from around 2 am 'till 3!!!
There was a breakfast but we left too early to sample it. All in all a basic budget hotel but at around $60 expensive for what you got
- Rebecca (8/5): Convenient, comfortable spot for airport layover - Our stay at B&B Wasi Aeropuerto fit the bill exactly: we needed a place to spend the night between a late arrival at the Lima airport and an early flight to Cusco. The pick-up from the airport was seamless and very convenient, the employees were all very courteous and helpful, and the room itself was clean and comfortable. There ws a bit of noise (barking dogs) from the neighborhood, but it didn't prevent us from getting a good night's sleep. For a cheap hotel that we were just using for a layover, it exceeded our expectations. We even got a very early breakfast (5 am) which included made-to-order eggs and coffee. We were happy customers!
- Verified traveler (4/5): Basic, but fine - Very basic....no frills like toiletries or face towels but the bed was fine and it was convenient to the airport.
- Airwolf (8/5): Close to airport. - Convenient location, frindly staff, shuttle service was great & tasty breakfast.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Comfortable short stay for layover - Friendly, efficient comfortable place for a short layover between flights.
- zachariah (4/5): Awful neighborhood not for tourists. - Average Hotel. Overpriced. Friendly Staff. Awful neighborhood. Not for tourists.
- curt (2/5): These people are crooks - I checked into this hotel on April 23 for 1 night. I told them that Expedia already charged me for the hotel on my credit card. They told me that They never got paid by Expedia and that I had to pay again which I did. Then the next morning I had an argument with the front desk person who tried to charge me twice for my airport transfer. However the driver rightly claimed that that I paid for the transfer the the night before. I am still in Peru but I know when I get back I will have to straighten this out with Expedia.
- JF (10/5): very nice B&B close tonthe airport - Very nice staff and a clean white building with clean roomas and a nice breakfast.
- john (4/5): - If its just a stopover and somewhere to sleep one night before a flight home, anything else, don't bother, it's awful
- Verified traveler (6/5): Airport hotel Lima - Hotel is OK for a layover in Lima. Close to airport and hotel offers driver service. Wouldn't want to stay longer than that. Very minimal accommodations but secure with friendly staff. Neighborhood is not great- but that's what you get if you want to stay close to the airport.
- Andrew Brown (8/5): Well located to the airport for 1 ight stay - Very helpful staff and airport shuttles etc, stored our bags for the day while we looked around Lima, good breakfast, good value
- marie (8/5): Perfect if you are flying in and out of Lima - We were going through Lima to get to Cusco--Machu Picchu so we wanted to be close to the airport to cut down on costs of taxis and time. B&B Wasi is a great hotel with a lovely layout, fun communal area and comfy breakfast seating near their garden. We had the room on the rooftop with lovely views and a nice little breakfast table. Staff was really nice and friendly. Gave us tips on where to find food nearby. Called us a taxi in the morning. We stayed there completely for utility purposes of being near the airport.
- David (8/5): Lima airport - Room was very small but clean, staff was super friendly, literally 5 minutes from airport, overall very nice!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great place, when traveling through Lima Airport - When making connections through Lima, this is a great place to stay. They will pick you up at the airport on time and return you to the airport when you need to fly out. All you need to do is e-mail them with your time of arrival.
We had a comfortable, clean, room with bathroom. The hotel is small and simple. There is a small dining area where they will cook for you, at most times of the day. The area is not touristic, but is secure. The drive to the airport a short.
Thanks to the friendly staff, see you again when we pass through Lima.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The 2am airport pickup went without a hitch. Seamless entry for weary travelers into Lima.
- Karl (6/5): Meh. - The rooms are tiny, the bathroom needs updating, but the location is literally 10 minutes from the airport and the price is cheap compared to other close-to-the-airport options. The breakfast was nice and so were the staff. I tried to find a lower cost--near the airport--option, but it sadly wasn't available.
- George (8/5): Nice B&B close to the airport - Perfect for a one night stay if you're not stopping in Lima for too long. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and the breakfast was great. Would definitely recommend this B&B again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Great layover option - Convenient for an overnight layover. The transfers were great, and breakfast was simple but filling. It wasn't the quietest place, but my little room was comfortable with a decent TV setup.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - We would recommend this hotel if you need a nights stay near the airport. The Mirflora area is a nice area but the driving distance did not seem worth just an over night stay; and we had already stayed in that area. The hotel was very safe and our cab driver was sent by the hotel to pick us up. Don't expect anything fancy but this hotel met all of our needs for the night.
- Michael (8/5): Clean, quiet, and conveniently located - Was only there 1 night on a layover from Lima airport. It's perfect if you just need a quiet place to crash relatively close to the airport on the cheap. Most of the staff speak English and all are very nice and accommodating. Would recommend.
- Fer (8/5): Nice clean hotel near airport - Good value for your money. Good staff service. Free Wi fi, Cable.Breakfast . Clean rooms. Airport shuttle
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Hotel is close to airport and cheap when comparing with hotel in the airport. Staff at the hotel was great, but location is not safe to go aorund at night or along..
- MikeB (6/5): Very noisy neighbourhood - There was a lot of noise until early morning from nearby houses, which meant that i didnt sleep the few hours i was supposed to for my early morning flight to Cusco. Windows were not sealed and it was cold.
