Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This place was beautiful. Staff were great but was expensive. I thought the charging of an12 year old at adult prices for tours etc was a total rip off when he didn’t drink alcohol or eat much and just a way to earn extra money.
The lodge itself could use a few more games etc
The scenery was amazing and the tours were veey good.
- Sharon (10/5): - Fabulous staff, food and experience. Guides were incredibly informed on all aspects of Kakadu, historically and present.
- Alicia (8/5): Great Outback Getaway - The tents were lovely, staff lovely and pool beautiful! Only let down was the food as if wasnt the 5 start rating it is cracked up to be but still tasty. Staff were all super friendly and helpful, we booked two tours which were great (highly recommend the airboat)! Overall would recommend and go again!
- Robbie (6/5): It might be worth Paying the premium for aircon - A nice get away but the room was really hot, the fan was barely functional. As vegetarians the dinner had limited options, for entre we both had the pumpkin soup (only vegetarian option) which was nice but not suitable for hot weather. The pool was great, for the price and if the room was more comfortable this would have been really nice.
- Jenny (8/5): Glamping paradise - This place was amazing, with highlights including the beautiful infinity pool, fabulous dining, and gorgeous tent
- Calsmum (10/5): Adventure of a lifetime - Everything was exceptional. We loved our safari tent and how close it put us to nature. Woke up early and listened to the bird calls - which start just before sunrise. The Home Billabong early morning cruise shows just how close you really are to crocodiles and other wildlife. A highlight was seeing a Azure Kingfisher, and a croc crunching down on a turtle. The food was fantastic. Three-course gourmet selection every night. We also took a three-hour flight over Kakadu which I would highly recommend as you can really see the immensity of the park and the changing landforms from savannah to floodplains and along the escarpment to the falls. We also took our 4WD onto the Wildman Track for a great off-road experience. It may seem expensive, but with breakfast and dinner included, and some of the tours (not the flights) it is great value for money. What price can you put on the adventure of a lifetime!
