There was an odd odor in the stairwell and my wife could smell it in the room as well. I didn't notice it but it really bothered my wife.

• Paula (8/5): The spacious well appointed room was a an excellent value. - Location handy to downtown Bellingham. Desk staff was friendly and accomodating. We requested on our reservation a hot pot for the room and a room on an upper floor. Both were ready for us when we arrived. Very nice lobby with an excellent eating area. The price was lower than expected. Liked the noon checkout. The reading lights above the bed were extrememly weak - unuseable for reading. There was mold in the shower where the glass wall meets the floor.

• Melissa (9/5): Everything was wonderful, except the pool - Nice clean room, friendly staff, great breakfast There was so much chlorine in the pool it made our eye burns and we weren’t even in the water. My kids started coughing. The amount of chlorine cut our swim time way short.

• SamC3426 (10/5): Thank you Gabby for helping me!!!! - Gabby at the front desk really helped me out. I booked a room for a basketball tournament that was originally scheduled 28-30 Dec. They ended up moving it to 29-31. I had a rough time getting the change to go through to move the days with the reservation and on my app. So I booked an extra day on the 31st. I must have called 4 times back to back to back. Gabby was very patient with me and helped me resolve my issue. I truly appreciate the professionalism and her desire to help me get everything squared away. Thank you Gabby. My family and I look forward to our stay.
• Cathy (7/5): You need better lighting - The breakfast was incredible, so many options. The lighting in the bathrooms were horrible. I could not see to put on makeup. Looks like we left something in the bathroom too, probably couldn’t see it with the lighting. I tried to get ready the second night with the small sink, but it wasn’t much better.

• 464mindyt (4/5): I will not be back - Our room smelled terrible and had black mold. We were asked to leave for a few hours. We had already been up since 5 am. They said they had no other availability. After coming back, they used an ozone machine. We all became sick. We all went downstairs while they again said they had no rooms. Then they say they have a room at a sister suite. It was literally the same building, yet told us they had nothing. We finally got into our room at 9:30 pm. Poor service, and completely illogical management.

Got woken up before 5AM by children screeching and singing. • Adventure17287742841 (10/5): Happy with our stay and will come back - We had a double Queen room for one night for 2 adults + 2 kids. We are happy with our room ( #424) which is at far end of the wing from the elevator. Here are what we like about the room: - Spacious, a separate living room/ desk area after entry - Separate restroom ( toilet+sink) and bathroom ( shower+sink) - Quite, no traffic noise ( this room is facing the rear parking lot) - Good view of mountains - Comfortable mattress and bedding - Huge closet ( fits all our suitcases ) and large chest of drawers for storing clothing We also enjoyed the swimming pool and whirlpool ( open up to 11 PM). Free parking ( lots of spots) and breakfast (7-10 AM). There was a good variety of food ( hot and cold) and drinks. A shout-out to the gentleman who looked after the breakfast bar. He was constantly checking to make sure all items were stocked and placed neatly and the surface clean. We will for sure stay again!

• bernardomA766TB (6/5): It could have been a good rating. - I am on my wedding anniversary treat and decided to have a staycation in Bellingham. My choice of Hotel is Spring Hills because it is a Marriott Bonvoy group. They usually offer excellent amenities and services. That is why we chose this. Here are my review why it is 3/5. Pros: .Hotel is centrally located and it is very near to many tourist destination in conveniences. .They have secured free parking garage. . Breakfast is included, but the typical continental breakfast. .Nice and big room with .Free Wifi. Ave speed. .Courteous Staff Cons: . 2 nights stay is NOT entitled to a make-up room services. I did not know and was not told in emails nor at the front desk. I put all my towels on the floor for change but I had to negotiate at the end of the first day for them to give me clean towels. This was disappointing! .My membership does not entitle me to free bottle water. I had to buy it separately. At the rate I paid of $150per night, they could not include the bottled water. Whaaat! .Breakfast is all food cooked from pre-packed bought on groceries. Maybe except for the eggs. Nothing great! Just stomach filling. I wish they could be more truthful upfront when you book. They tell you what is included and not.

The TV was terrible picture and no internet to watch streaming. Breakfast options were not very good. I will say the staff was very helpful!

• Sherry (8/5): - Staff at check in (and check out) were very friendly. Room was great-loved the separate toilet (with a tiny sink) from the shower. Note neither the toilet or shower door locked-they were barn doors. Missing a blanket for the pullout couch but also didn’t ask for one. Not sure why hotels only stock for bath towels in a room that sleeps 5-6. My son loved the separation from the room and pullout couch. Biggest downside was the pool. There was A LOT of chlorine in the pool and hot tub. One little girl was coughing due to it. It bothered mine and my kids’ eyes. So much they didn’t want to swim in the morning (and they love swimming). Breakfast was good and they continued to refill it. Eggs, jalapeño frittata, and sausage were the warm options. They also had muffins, toast, bagels, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal etc. kids were able to get soda at breakfast from soda fountain which they loved. Unfortunately it was Pepsi and not Coke!

• Bernadette (4/5): - We did not have a very restful sleep. The cooling system did not work properly so the room was too warm for sleeping comfortably. You also could not turn on the bathroom light during the night because the light could wake up people sleeping. Having a bathroom directly across from the beds people are sleeping on is unusual. Bathroom doors were not solid wood but had a frosted piece of glass inset in the door. At night, if you turn of the light in the bedroom, the light falls directly on the other people sleeping. Bummer!! The hotel room works if you only have one occupant. More than one...not so well.

Great morning breakfast (free!), the bar at night is ridiculously affordable for a hotel bar, great pool, a parking garage if you want it--this is where I'll stay when I visit Bellingham now and forever!
