C’est comme il n’y a que cette chambre on a l’impression d’être chez soi dans sa maison. L’hôtel est extrêmement bien placé, on peut tout faire à pied, la cuisinière se donne beaucoup de mal pour le petit déjeuner. Et c’est délicieux. Rien tout était super et c’est la troisième fois que j’y vais

- Laigaard (10/5): Jardin Escondido is a wonderful place and we will stay there again next time we go to Buenos Aires. - Jardin Escondido feels like a home away from home. The staff is very friendly and helpful and it was a nice oasis to return to after a day of sightseeing. The hotel is close to loads of very good restaurants (within walking distance). There was nothing that I did not like. The only little remark I have is that the hotel could stock up the wine fridge in the common living area a bit more often :-)

- Eric (9/5): Wonderful visit to Buenas Aires in Palermo - This is a small boutique hotel in the Soho district of Palermo in Buenas Aires--it is an excellent location with many restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance. Having visited the La Boca, Puerto Madero, and Centro regions of BA, I would definitely favor the location of this hotel in Palermo. The hotel and its courtyard are lush with plants, trees, and vegetation. Beautiful. The front desk staff were amazing, well-informed, and very accommodating. Breakfast was great and the staff will make you tea or coffee at any time of the day. The only issue was that the water was not working when we arrived and had not been for at least 2 days. We were not advised of this until one of us used the bathroom and were unable to flush the toilet. We think that they should have been direct and upfront regarding this issue rather than appearing to hide this problem. Fortunately, this was corrected after we had been there for about 18 hours. In the meantime, they provided us with a large container of water, bottle of wine, and wipes. I would also say that if you are considering reserving the "studio" you should be comfortable walking up a steep and narrow flight of outdoor stairs. This room is also fairly small with only a double bed. It was fine for us, but some may have not been happy. The other rooms appears much larger.

Il manque des prises facilement accessibles pour recharger son téléphone dans la chambre, ainsi qu'un tapis de bain dans la salle de bain. Malgré une promesse nous n'avons jamais obtenu de numéro WhatsApp pour pouvoir communiquer avec la réception (c'est le seul moyen pour communiquer sans se déplacer). Le rapport qualité/prix est donc peu favorable.

Truly this is a wonderful vacation stay and almost a destination in itself. Please don’t use too much American and British pop music around the hotel. Chile has some wonderful musicians and some great sounds of its own. You are an international hotel with international standards that set the pace for everyone else. You don’t need to use their music. Use local music, local musicians and local sounds. Let’s hear it for Chile. That’s what your great hotel is as a brand. It’s an ambassador for Chile in hotel standards. Truly we lived every second staying with you.

- JASLEO (10/5): Quiet and intimate refuge in the middle of one of BA's best neighborhoods - This intimate, 7 room "hotel" was a comfortable refuge in the middle of Buenos Aires' bustling Palermo Soho neighborhood. It feels like you're staying in someone's well appointed home, with a welcoming staff, comfortable lounging areas, plenty of sunlight and a living room that invites you to sit down and stay a while. Bonus: the most comfortable bed we slept in during our 2 weeks in Argentina. Can't think of anything... it was perfect.

Staff were welcoming and kind and helpful (Ada, Cynthia, Natalia, Ignacio, Colin, Andres, Leandro). The rooms and gardens and pool and lounge area were comfortable and inviting. Natalia’s breakfasts were superb. The recommendations of staff for dining, shopping, sightseeing, etc were wonderful. We really hope to come back some day.

- Deborah (10/5): Hard to imagine anywhere better to stay! - Everything was wonderful - the location is great for accessing all parts of the city, we loved our beautiful, spacious suite room overlooking the garden, (with an extremely comfortable bed), the daily breakfast was delicious (with excellent coffee) but what truly makes this hotel special are the staff. We left feeling that we had stayed with friends - nothing was too much, every question was answered, and under the radar restaurants and museums were recommended. Colin, Ignacio, Andy and all the behind the scenes staff could not have been more warm and welcoming, and meeting them will be one of our best memories from a great trip to Buenos Aires.

Originally the home of Francis Ford Coppola, the place has maintained its character. You actually feel like you're in someone's home. Our room was huge, clean comfortable and full of character. The service and breakfast were superb. We loved our stay and if we ever make it back to Buenos Aires we will certainly stay here again!

I have never felt at such ease in a hotel in my life. For my first time in BA this was an ideal location in the trendy and hip Palermo neighborhood. A true gem of a hotel.

The staff was friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was delicious. Very well located to enjoy all the shops, restaurants and cafes in Polermo Soho. We stayed for one night in Sofia's room - it is a small charming room. If we were staying for longer I would have preferred a larger room.

- Kathryn (9/5): Beautiful, garden escape in heart of Palermo - Beautiful, garden estate that was tucked right into the center of Palermo neighborhood. We honestly just felt like we were guests of honor in someone’s private home. Intimate and very inviting and comfortable. Relaxed breakfast at your convenience every morning. Staff were a wealth of information about restaurants, sites to see, navigating city etc and always extremely accommodating. Water pressure was really weak in our bathroom and one whole day we didn’t have hot water from the shower at all. Bottled waters weren’t restocked in our mini fridge on daily basis like they had told us at check in, but if we would have remembered to mention it, I’m certain staff would have taken care of it.

The atmosphere is super cosy, with a charming, bohemian, hippie-chic vibe. The property itself is like a little riad in the heart of BA, beautifully designed, and ideally located in the coolest and trendy neighbourhood Palermo Soho. Lovely rooms and the entire space had such great energy and intimate feel. The hospitality was exceptional—the team went above and beyond to help me with everything. I originally planned to stay just one night, but I loved it so much that I rebooked it for the end of my five-week journey. I cannot wait to come back! Absolutely nothing—it was simply fantastic.
- WolfeStreetTravel (10/5): Great Boutique Hotel - We (@wolfestreettravel on Instagram and wolfestreettravel.com) stayed at Be Jardin Escondido during a month-long trip through South America that began in Buenos Aires. This is the second Coppola family property at which we've stayed. Great boutique hotel that feels (and is) like a welcoming townhouse in the city. We stayed in the SUPERIOR TWIN - CORTAZAR room, which was large and with a balcony that overlooked the courtyard, which was great. The bathroom was good, but not great. The best aspects of Jardin Escondido are the living room, where you can hang out in the evening and have drinks by yourselves or with other guests or in the morning with a complementary Nespresso machine in an adjacent room; the breakfast, which was really great and made to order; and the support and recommendations by staff, which were incredibly helpful and on point, for restaurants.
