Guest Reviews
- rob (2/5): - Place looked like a murder hotel was too scared to stay.looked like Bates motel, deserted no lights on didn't know if people were there or not so kept driving.
- patty (4/5): - Quit area but the hotel needs a major upgrade. Beds were ok but the rooms had a roach problem and had dead roaches and crickets and bugs on floor. It needs a major remodel
- Mary (8/5): - Old hotel. Clean bedding , towels. Did not smell and bed was comfortable.
- Sharon (10/5): - Enjoyed the stay there. Manager was so friendly and helpful. Will stay there again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice
- Lucinda (2/5): - Old and dirty. We rented 3 rooms. Mold in all 3 bathrooms. Our sink was falling down. Lady was rude. Husband was nice.
- Stephen (2/5): - Great price, clean but still dated and the furniture. Walls. Ceiling. Etc.. are all deteriorating. I can tell the owner is trying to do the best they can with the materials provided. Illegally charged a fee for my Service Animal in violation of federal law. Refused to give reciept of any type at checkout.
- Sharon (8/5): Nice stay - Room was clean and everything in good condition. Manager was very polite and helpful. Will stay there again.
- Michelle (8/5): OK??? - Served a purpose
- Bernarda (6/5): - Old motel in an old town
- Bruce (8/5): - The room was clean and quiet, spacious with a good bed. Walking to our room was kinda sketchy, as there is a lot of trash on the property, and piled against one door. The lady running the hotel is foing her best, but English is very hard for her. Just smile and be kind and it works out.
- Thomas (2/5): Check in - I booked a double bed room and some how it got changed to a single bed room. When I checked in and realized they gave me a king bed room I went back to the front desk and told them I needed 2 beds and they charged me another $20.00 to get what I needed. I will never stay here again
- Eric (10/5): - Real nice place, price was good and it’s connected to a restaurant called Chavos. Mexican food yummy
- Sasha (6/5): - Management was very rude when I called to ask about the banging in the area above my room and she told me to "leave my hotel " because I was upset that my Toddler couldn't take a nap due to all the banging. I asked about a different room and she told me that there were no rooms available to move to yet EVERY room but 1 was empty. Seriously? I will most definitely NOT be going back. I would rather go to a run down hotel/ motel than to stay there again. I was so upset. Then she tried to be nice to my son yelling "I love you, Baby " every time she saw us. Made me uneasy about being there.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Awful - Room smelled of mildew & old cigarettes. Staff was not very friendly. Was not given the room that was reserved, we were moved to a single king bed when promised a double bed. Bathroom was not properly cleaned and had bugs.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Needs updating....
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I hated the fact they kicked us out for simply asking for the room we paid for
- Sharon (8/5): No complaints! - Nothing to brag about. But no complaints either. Was comfortable. Will stay there again.
- Leah (8/5): - Nice hotel
- Richard (2/5): - This might be the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The lady at check in basically threw the room key at me. They had no idea who I was when I got here and if we had any other options I would have taken it. I’d rather sleep in my car then stay here again.
- mark (4/5): Stay at your own risk - Place is very old. I was one of only two guest that day. I dont recommend if your looking for a secure and nice place.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The place need a little work ,it is comfortable for just a one night stay but a little paint and some shurb around it will be a small improvement
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Disgusting place I wouldn't even let me dog stay there!!
- Billy (2/5): - didn't like anything there. Office always locked. No one at desk. Floors dirty.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - No comment no comment no comment no comment n ok comment
- Verified traveler (10/5): Overall Good Experience - Room was clean. Owners were helpful when we had a mixup with payment. Overall a good experience.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - It was just to bad to talk about
We will never be back to this place
- Jamie (4/5): Don't stay here... - We stayed here to see a concert in Bossier City. The owner was rude, and clapped her hands at us because we were parked by the door. She was not in the office for check in or check out. We called the number to get her attention, which produced no results. The neighbors had a screaming match with her, because the room was a mess. The beds are like rocks, and we literally left as soon as we woke up.
- Merle (6/5): Motel OK Owners horrible - The motel was ok for a $45 a night room it was the owners that were horrible....just horrible. I can live with plaster falling off the ceiling in places and the TWO towels you get are so thin you can read through them but as a 58 year old man, to be hollered at my the owner is just unacceptable. If there were two motels in this town I would pay more to stay at the other one....
- Verified traveler (2/5): Mold growing on walls - had to check out after first night...dirty and old. Smelled terrible. Mold on walls.
- Jerry (2/5): Practically Unbearable - I refused to stay at this hotel...because (1) It took over 30 minutes with the help of Hotels.com to get a response from the front desk after calling ahead that I was on my way. (2) The room was over 100 degrees inside. (3)No a/c was on
4) The room had a strong musty odor, practically unbearable
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Bed was mattresses stacked on top of each other
- Randy (2/5): - I would not let my dog stay at this pip pen...... Only reason I stayed was I had no other place to go!!!
- Nikki (2/5): - Terrible!!
- Evelyn (4/5): Travelers - Stay was not what I expected. Booked and paid for two nights but only stayed ONE.
- Tinamarie (4/5): Older motel - It states high speed WiFi, no that does not work. The room had cigarette burns on all of the furniture. It was outdated and had a slight smell.
- Jill (6/5): Only hotel in town - It is an old hotel with some recent updates. Still, not in very good condition but the rooms were okay. Train across the street made plenty of noise as well.
- Robert (6/5): Older motel, but comfortable. - An older motel, but comfortable. Good Mexican restaurant on site.
- TKF (6/5): Very Nice - Great Price! - After reading the previous reviews, I was skeptical. However, the location was essential to our decision. The hotel is older but it was clean and comfortable. The attendant was very nice and helpful. We arrived very late, but he didn't seem to mind. It was reasonably priced, quiet and in a safe neighborhood. We were just seconds away from Pizza Hut, Sonic and Dairy Queen. The room had a mini-fridge and microwave. It was decorated nicely. We will stay there again.
- Ralphie (4/5): Rude staff and high price - The staff was just rude and the price was too high for the condition the place is in
- Allen Haddad (4/5): Country Inn Vivian is a step back in time - Country Inn Vivian is located in a charming small Louisiana town. The facility is dated and needs a lot of upgrades. The manager is courteous. The room could have been cleaner. The country views are nice. The rate was a bit high compared to comparable properties.
