- Colleen (8/5): - Generally found this to be a nice hotel, in a good location. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the area is quiet and safe, while being close to the Arc, the Champs-Elysees and a metro station. There are several good food options nearby as well. Villa Sophia was an favourite for us. If you want to experience fine dining, the nearby Four Seasons hotel has 3 Michelin-starred restaurants- we tried Le George and it did not disappoint! Our only issue was with the air conditioning in our room - it seemed to go off every night at around 11 pm, and not even the fan would run. As a result, the room got very warm (24’C) and stuffy by midnight. There was no way for us to correct this in the room, and until our last night, it couldn’t be corrected by the night staff either. It would come back on around 10 every morning. That being said, it does seem they sorted it out by our last night.

- adam Hesham (4/5): - I didnt take any pictures because i was only there for one night but they took long to get the room ready and when i went in there was a bug on the bed and the sheets had stains on them so they werent washed. The toilet paper was the roughest i ever used and the shower has no moving space.

- Maria Angela (10/5): - HIDDEN GEM IN PARIS’ 8th! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Helzear! It’s conveniently located very close to the bustling Champs-Elyseés, walking distance to world class shopping on the Champs and the Ave Montaigne, and the George V Metro station on Line 1. Our room was gorgeous with floor to celing windows and blackout drapes, a breakfast nook, small stove, nice sized fridge, and comfortable bed. There are also plates and cutlery and a microwave. The bathroom was supplied with Nuxe toiletries and served our needs just fine (although the shower stall is a little tight). Daily breakfast came in this rustic,very French picnic basket at a time we chose - flaky croissants, pain du chocolat, warm baguettes, French butter, fresh fruit, strawberry jam, Bonne Maman chocolate hazelnut spread, cream cheese, vanilla yogurt, tea sachets, hot chocolate mix, and coffee capsules (the room had a Nespresso machine). Very substantial. The hotel premises are very clean, our room was always immaculate. The staff is very warm and friendly and happy to help with your inquiries. The hotel entrance is very safe, requiring a code to be entered upon entry especially at night. It didn’t have a restaurant, but there are several close by. All in all, we had a fantastic time. We highly recommend this lovely hotel and hope to come back soon! Thank you Dia, Mohammed, and all the other kind staffers who helped make our stay the best yet!

- CHUN TO VICTOR (10/5): - Typical and compact hotel room as in Paris hotels. We stayed in the junior suite for 2 nights. It recently renovated, the scent of the hotel room is relaxing when you entered it. Kitchen facility, cutlery was good and clean. just the water tap in the bathtub is leaks when the tap is on. 10 to 20 mins of walking distance to main Paris landmark like Effiel tower, Arc de Triomphe, 15 mins bus ride to Louvre Museum. And 2 mins walking distance for restaurants and 5 mins to groceries store (which close at 11:00pm), so hassle free for foods and necessities. They have 3 mins walk car park which is okay. No doggy things in terms of security near the hotel areas. Taxi stand and side road in front of the hotel entrance, which is convenience when you want to load in and out your kids and luggage. Breakfast will deliver to your room as well (first day we had fruits offered, second day we didn’t have fruits provided) so people who wants make up could save some extra bedding time and no need to go to restaurant for breakfast. Friendly staff from Regis whom helped us to retrieved my son’s cap before it long lost in Paris. Luckily, we stayed during Easter holiday, the hotel provide Easter eggs hunt inside the room, the kids love it. Thank you for the decent and fun treats.

They told us they were going to send us a heater, but the first night they didn't do it and the temperature was 0 degrees. The next day, not only did it still not work, they left the window open and it was a freezer when we entered. Then they sent us something to heat it, but it was still very cold. The attention in general was always very friendly. The location is ok, although everything in the area is super super expensive!

Even with hot water you’d get cold while taking a shower because the water pressure was so low. The location is great we were able to walk to all the big attractions the staff was also incredibly helpful.

Shower was a joke: tiny, and shower doors wouldn't close completely so it's impossible to shower without getting the bathroom floor all wet. Best feature is location: close to Metro stops, good restaurants and shopping.

- Sladana (4/5): Reconsider booking here! - Our experience started off horribly as we were checking in. We had to pay a €200 deposit for any damage. The front desk which is barely a desk had a wireless credit card machine and wasn’t working. The clerk working on 17 January 2024 was about to turn us away because he couldn’t collect the payment! Where were we supposed to go in a city we are unfamiliar with?! Finally, on the third try it worked. Then the clerk said our room was on the second floor. My husband was barely able to fit into their small elevator with the luggage. Then we could’t find our room. I went back downstairs and told the clerk I can’t find our room because they name their rooms not number them. Then the clerk said sorry and our room was exactly across from the “desk” on the main floor. It was noisy and we can hear people talking in the “lobby”. Also the hotel is on a busy street and we can hear the cars and sirens all night. The shower had no separation from the floor and water went everywhere. It’s dangerous and it’s easily to slip and fall. Coming out of the shower I noticed the toilet and how disgusting it was and unclean. There is no USB ports for charging your devices and coming from America, It was hard to charge our phones. The Wi-Fi is horrible there every five minutes it takes you off and you have to log back on. I just can’t say enough how awful experience we had and how this hotel is very sketchy. Please be aware that they will try to not give you back your 200 Euro deposit for damages.

Sometimes it worked and other times it didnt. It happened first day i arrived and the last night almost lost my flight! I had to bring down my luggage from the 4th floor with a baby and 8 years old, the luggae. And they act like the elevator isnt not working ! Balcony were cool.

- Jesse (4/5): This 4 star hotel was a disappointment - Conveniently located and safe. Room (1st floor, Boccador) was clean but less than adequate. It was the size of a walk in closet, better served as a single room suited for one small person who travels light. Closet was small and too short to hang a dress. The bed was up against a window offering a narrow walkway on the opposite side thus making it accessible only from one side. It doubled as a shelf, storage and table. Bathroom lighting not sufficient to shave or put on makeup. A bulb needed to get changed. Shower drain cover and toilet seat were broken and kept falling off. Blackout curtains but no sheers leaving us fully exposed to the neighbors. Staff though mostly polite, weren’t service minded and failed to call the taxi we ordered for an early morning excursion. They had no knowledge of where the advertised available breakfast was served. (And we never found it). Maid service was mostly in the late afternoon or early evening. Minibar was not replenished during our 6-night stay. The creamer had an expiration date of 7 days before our arrival. The airport transfer shuttle we had directly ordered from the hotel never showed up. Catching a taxi at the Orly Airport is easy and at a flat rate of €37 we were told cheaper! though we were in line for just under an hour. It is our opinion that a 4 star hotel anywhere in the world should provide better and we would not recommend it.
- Pegah (4/5): one night stay - it was a good hotel, we stayed only for one night. The location was good. There were three issues in our room: 1) the air conditioner or the air system whatever it was, was very poor, it didn't circulate the air properly and we felt really out of fresh air. It was very very uncomfortable at night. 2) the speed of the wifi was very mediocre (not good for streaming for instance) 3- The shower section was SUPER small, no room at all to move
- Genia (10/5): - What a great place to stay! Located in between Arch de triumph and the Eiffel tower. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite and even though it's tiny, it was a perfect stay. Kids had their space and bathroom and we had ours. Hotel was clean, updated and well maintained. We will return.

- Sylvia (10/5): Traveling with Seniors - Such a great location. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. I was traveling with 2 elderly family members and one in a wheelchair. They provided storage for the wheelchair and assisted me when possible. The mattress was very comfortable and I was able to get a good night sleep. Within steps of the Arch, great restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. I would stay here again when visiting Paris.

- Verified traveler (2/5): - was a disaster, I wish u cal call me about it, They give me a two bedroom apartment with one bathroom only while my reservation was a two bedroom with two bathrooms and when I complain they said you can leave the hotel and find another hotel imagine a family with three kids call arrive to Paris and then go out with the luggage to find another hotel! Moreover the air condition wasn’t working in the master bedroom so I was suffering the whole time from the heat without any sleep! I hope that ExpediaRefund me for part of my state since I sent a complaint through the website but I did not get any answers. - Nick (8/5): - The hotel was very pleasant. The room is small but was adequate for 5 people. The walls are fairly thin and the other room was very close to ours. The hotel was in a great location to walk to just about everything from restaurants to shops and super close to the Arc de Triomphe!

- OR (10/5): - The Hotel was a beautiful, old French architecture. Rooms were specious and clean. Though, what made the the property really, really excellent was the staff. The front desk staff was extremely accommodating. They brought real value and warmth to our stay. Allowing early checkin ( permitting, the off season). Especially, staff member Enis, who went above and beyond to help us with our activities, looking after our room needs. She even helped us when our flight was canceled and accommodating on short notice at another great property of Helzear, down the street, providing an excellent hospitality experience which made our stay awesome!! Thanks Helzear and thank you Enis, Definitely will stay here again and recommend to friends.
- Roy (2/5): - I booked two rooms, i booked an extra night for my colleague and he called a number of times to inform them he would arrive late early in the morning and he struggled to get call answered etc and then when he arrived in the morning despite havinf that night booked the room was not available, This was my VP and I used to stay here regularly but my thoughts are to never book or bring my usa colleagues here again you charged for three nights yet he only had two made available - disgusting
- Abdulaziz (2/5): - Nice smile but unfortunately they don’t do anything to help. First the room was at the street side and ask them to change it but the claim it is the best. Of course it was noisy at street level. Second the door of the hotel have password if you forgot it you have to wait until reception is around to open for you. Third, I tried to contact them many times regarding the insurance deposit they took at check in and never redeposit it back. It is total fraud service and each agent on the phone have a reason not to send email confirmation or need manager to approaval. But unfortunately nothing happen.
