• Stephane (10/5): Cosy and homely hotel in Kandersteg - Breakfast and dinner at the hotel were very good. Our room had a great views on the mountains. The staff was always very helpful and friendly. Renting skiing equipment was very easy at the sports shop on the other side of the street.

• Oliwia (8/5): Sehr erholend und trotz einem Hotel, fühlt man sich familiär! - Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer gross und gemütlich! Alles schnell und einfach erreichbar, auch toll das es viele verfügbare Parkplätze hat. Das Zimmer war einbisschen mangelnd ausgestattet. Weder ein Safe für Wertsachen, noch ein kleiner Kühlschrank oder richtige Getränke, alles musste dazu gekauft werden, dafür war die Auswahl im Shop gross. Für Reisende, die wenig mit sich haben, gibt es keine Zahnbürsten oder ähnliches im Zimmer. Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet einiges aber nichts Glutenfreies

• Elena (9/5): - Wir hatten einen sehr guten Aufenhalt im Hotel. Das Zimmer war sehr grosszügig und wir hatten eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf die Berge. In der Nacht war es sehr ruhig. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmerschlüssel sind im Eingangsbereich frei zugänglich. Wir haben deshalb den Schlüssel während des Aufenthalts nie abgegeben.

• Peter (10/5): A quiet, clean, and welcoming stay in Kandersteg with great staff and a beautiful mountain view. - The staff were friendly and welcoming — both at reception and during breakfast. The heating was already on in mid-October, which made the room very comfortable. My top-floor room was calm, clean, and had a beautiful mountain view. Free parking next to the hotel is a big plus. Breakfast was fine but could offer a bit more variety — maybe scrambled eggs or sausages. Otherwise, nothing to complain about; everything worked as expected for this hotel category.

L’hôtel a accepté nos animaux de compagnie sans aucun problème, la chambre était spacieuse, le parking inclus très pratique et l’équipe humaine absolument formidable. Le petit-déjeuner était simple mais savoureux, idéal pour faire le plein d’énergie avant de monter du village jusqu’au lac. Un séjour vraiment idéal. n.a.

• Claudia (10/5): Ein toller Aufenthalt! - Wir hatten ein sehr schönes, grosses Zimmer mit toller Aussicht und Balkon. Wir haben Halbpension gebucht und waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Essen! Das Frühstücksbüffet war reichlich und das Personal sehr aufmerksam. Auch das Abendessen war sehr lecker! Jeden Abend wurde ein ein 4- Gänge Menü serviert ! Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem gesamten Aufenthalt und können diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall empfehlen!
• Laurie (9/5): Stay and visit Oeschinensee in a relaxing way - Great stay in a quiet, peaceful part of Switzerland, close to the Kandersteg train station and Oeschinensee cable car. Room was spacious and very comfortable. We were there Monday and Tuesday when the hotel restaurant was closed so we had little contact with staff, but breakfast was very enjoyable. It was a real bonus to have access to a washer and dryer (located in the sauna room). Communication with the hotel prior to our arrival was easy. There was a link to scan at reception for the Abdelboden-Lenk-Kandersteg guest card. It would have been nice to have received this prior to our arrival in order to make some train/bus cost savings prior to arrival at the hotel.

• Kathleen (9/5): - The location is convenient, bus stops right in front of and beside the hotel, and it's just a 10–15 minute walk from the train station. The hotel is expensive. I wish there were more breakfast options - there were no scrambled eggs, sausages or bacon, which was a bit disappointing. But our overall stay was great.

• Clara (8/5): Buena opción para una escala entre Interlaken y Zermatt - Parking muy práctico. Nos permitieron dejar el coche al día siguiente mientras hacíamos una excursión por la zona. Nuestra habitación era muy amplia y tranquila. Llegamos un poco tarde y nos costó encontrar un lugar con cocina abierta para cenar.

Goed bereikbaar met trein, bus. Zeer proper. Heel goed restaurant. Communicatie met de hoteleigenaars was heel beperkt. Ontbijt was met verse producten maar heel basic en zonder enige variatie. Gemeenschappelijke ruimtes voor de gasten zijn beperkt.
