- M8356XSmaryt (6/5): Good location and satisfactory accommodation - The location is very good, just a few minutes to the main shops/restaurants and palace. The accommodation was satisfactory, a little tired and felt rather cramped. Finding reception when arriving after dark was challenging with no clear signage and although we were shown to our apartment, the usage of spurious apartment numbers rather than the street number with no signage left us struggling to find our way back to it after going out for food on the first night. The main disappointment was breakfast. It appears that until recently breakfast was taken at republic square which seemed to be popular and we were looking forward to , but has recently changed to a breakfast room. The breakfast room was small, cramped, rather shabby and the choice of breakfast fairly limited, all cooked early (at7) and then left out for the duration of service. So overall, it was all OK, the concept is good, but fell short in some regards.

On the first night we had to leave the car 1km from the hotel. Next day, we managed to get a spot in the nearby parking lot.

The only downside was breakfast - we were led to believe that vouchers were supplied to you for breakfast on the beautiful square, just a 5 minute walk away. However, it had obviously changed and breakfast was served in a tiny room with a very scruffy conservatory type building attached. Help yourself buffet and make your own tea from a kettle precariously placed on a shelf above the food! No room to move and not the most relaxing way to start your day. Apart from that, the rooms are very well located in Split.

Staff were very helpful, and I appreciate the young lady who helped me with my luggage up three flights of stairs! A peaceful location and walking distance to the waterfront. Loved walking through the old town and discovering hidden gems.
- Michaela (8/5): Nettes Hotel am Rand der Altstadt - Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel liegt am Rand der Altstadt, am Ende der Fussgängerzone. Das Zimmer war sauber, die Dusche gross. Zum Frühstück mussten wir in ein anders Gebäude laufen (2 min entfernt). Es war reichhaltig und gut. In nächster Nähe zum Hotel gibt es einen Parkplatz, dieser ist jedoch zu jeder Tages- und Nachtzeit komplett überfüllt und es grenzt an ein Wunder, dort einen freien Platz zu bekommen. Die Parkplatzsituation ist desolat.

The apartment was in a great location near the port. We were given vouchers for breakfast in the nearby restaurant situated in a large square. This added a local feel to our experience. I would highly recommend that s apartment hotel. As it was mostly a pedestrianised area it may not be suited to those who need to be picked up at the door if the apartment.

The only little downside was the noise - you sleep just about ten feet separated by one wall from the bustling walking street right outside. There were barking dogs and children and t many voices right near my head until about 11 pm. Other than that it’s gorgeous!

- Ana Margarida (7/5): - Simpatia dos funcionários - precisamos de uma box de pequeno-almoço, pois íamos numa tour de manhã, bem cedo, e não íamos usufruir do pequeno-almoço do hotel, e os funcionários deixaram-nos uma no quarto. Foi uma atitude muito apreciada. A localização é boa, muito central e permite chegar ao centro rapidamente. Infelizmente, o quarto era pequeno (apesar de ter um andar superior com uma pequena cozinha) e o colchão era bastante desconfortável. Não gostamos muito do conceito da receção ser longe e completamente separada do alojamento - no fundo, é um alojamento local e não um hotel ou aparthotel propriamente dito.

Man geht durch eine Tür und tritt in ein wunderbares fast verstecktes Zimmer. Die Lage ist wirklich perfekt, denn in 5 Minuten ist man in den wunderschönen Strassen der Altstadt mit jeder Menge zu entdecken. - Journey29597536221 (10/5): Cute, quaint and centrally located - Divota is a little gem in central Split within a 10 minute walk of everything. There are multiple apartments situated with a few blocks. We were on the third floor but the reception staff was great and helped carry our heavy bags up. Our double twin room with balcony was spacious with a large shower and small balcony. The breakfast was lovely in the square. I would stay again!

A few more places to hang items within the bathroom and a toilet roll holder would improve things a little. Lack of shelves or places to hang items in the bathroom. Otherwise very good.

Probably the best breakfast we’ve had on our trip around Croatia. Accommodation has everything you need for a short break. Our room was at the top of a lot of stairs which was fine for us but for slightly older travellers it definitely would have been a challenge to get luggage up to the room!

- Oladotun (10/5): Amazing value for money - The staff stood out for me. Extremely pleasant, super helpful. Both the lady Ajla at welcome and the gentleman at checkout on the 23rd August. Amazing people! I was told so much valuable informaiton about places to go when I checked in and it was so helpful. I knew things many of the other tourists I met had no idea about. The room was nice, well air-conditioned and was cleaned properly everyday in a very unintrusive manner. Would definitely recommend. Location is also fantastic.

- Guillermo (8/5): - El personal es muy amable y atento. El desayuno es estupendo, lo sirven en un restaurante en la plaza de la República, muy cerca del alojamiento. La cama es confortable. Si pasas unos días, el apartamento se convierte en tu pequeño hogar. Tiene relativamente cerca un parking de zona azul que sale por 12 euros al día, te indican cómo pagarlo a través de una aplicación muy cómoda. La zona es tranquila la mayor parte del tiempo aún estando cerca del centro. Un pelín incómodo el apartamento al ser en dos plantas y podía estar mejor insonorizado, a veces pasa gente a deshora y, si se quedan hablando cerca del apartamento, puede ser molesto. A los muebles se les nota el paso del tiempo.

- Gillian (6/5): Peaceful stay in lovely Old Town - Peaceful location, private, great outdoor space, quaint neighbourhood, good breakfast General lack of cleanliness on arrival including dusty floors and areas around bed and table with lots of dust. Floors not cleaned throughout stay and minimal cleaning done. Walls marked in places from luggage. Very thin and small towels. Bathroom shower screen edging has dark mouldy patches and gaps so water sprayed all over the floor. Black patches on shower tile grout. No kitchen cloths/dish towel for washing occasional glasses/mugs - nobody wants to put on the dishwasher on holiday for a few drinking utensils! Apartment needs a repaint/refresh as it looked very tired and not like the photos on the website which must’ve been taken a long time ago! The Old Town location is very hilly and would be unsuitable for those with mobility issues
