The property is beautifully maintained and has such a relaxing atmosphere. The staff are warm, attentive, and always ready to help with anything you need. A special mention goes to the owner, Margarita—she is truly a sweetheart and makes you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. The location is also perfect—just a few minutes’ walk from everything, which made exploring so easy and convenient. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

• GEORGIOS (10/5): An unforgettable stay! - Amazing small hotel run by a lovely family. They really care about their customers and their well being. The location is excellent with exceptional view to the sunset from all rooms. I have to mention the cleaning service was impeccable, they changed towels every day, and the amenities were plentiful. The optional breakfast was great too, as great were our afternoon drinks. It offers more than the asking price.
• Kyle (10/5): Amazing hotel run by great people!! - Our stay at the Avanti was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. The family that owned the hotel took great care of me and my partner while staying at the hotel. The rooms and the facilities as a whole were very clean and maintained. The location was just a 5 minute walk from the village so very central to all the bars, restaurants and shops. All in all a fantastic 6 days and wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend the Avanti!

• Christina (10/5): - I stayed at 4 hotels during my honeymoon, Avanti was our #1 favorite. Ekaterina and Maurgete are truly wonderful hosts who make you feel like family. They are always available at the front desk to offer advice or assist you in anyway to make your trip easier and more enjoyable. They went above and beyond any other hotel on our trip, in a kind way. The accommodations were clean and a short walk into town, with breath taking views. The pictures do not do the facilities justice- it’s more stunning in person. If I ever am in IOS again, Avanti is the only hotel I’d stay at.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Lovely pool area. Good location for Chora and buses. Our room had the bed against the wall which was a little unusual but meant there was lots of space in the room. Good balcony area with views over the Chora. The shower head was positioned at half height, which was annoying for washing hair although you could remove shower head from handle of course. I think lots of the rooms had been refurbished so perhaps this was an older room. All very clean. Good breakfast too. Would recommend
• Mariangel (10/5): Absolutely loved it!!! - We just had one of our best holidays, we felt in love with Ios island. Hotel Avanti is absolutamente gorgeous with a stunning view and lovely, clean and super confortable rooms. The rooms look new and the bed was amazing. We loved our cute balcony and the breakfast provided. The location is amazing, super close to Alma sunset suites, Ios sunset club and also close to bus stops. Restaurants, supermarkets, quad bikes and car rentals and the center of the village. Thank you so much Margarita for your lovely hospitality. I 100% recommend Hotel Avanti

• Madeleine (10/5): - We LOVED our stay here. It’s the perfect location as it is close to the city centre and 5 minute walk to a bus stop that can take you to Pathos and Farout Beach Club. Delicious breakfast every morning including boiled eggs, toast, fruit, yogurt, pastry’s and coffee. Pool was beautiful and had a stunning sunset view of the city. We enjoyed the pool bar as well.

• Samantha (10/5): Gorgeous View - This hotel is well taken care of by the kind owners. They clearly have put thought into the design and it's aesthetic is super nice. It's situated right across from Chora's main hill so you get an incredible view day and night. There's a smaller church on the hill behind the hotel where you can watch the amazing Ios sunset from. Taking a dip in the pool after a long day of beach hopping was just what I needed every night.
• PROKOPIOS (10/5): Amazing experience - Εκπληκτική εμπειρία . Από τα πιο προσεγμένα ξενοδοχεία που έχω πάει σε ολόκληρη την Ελλάδα . Καταπληκτικό πρωινό , ανεπανάληπτη θέα , πολύ κοντά στο κέντρο . Ευγενεστατο προσωπικό με χαμόγελο και όρεξη ! Το δωμάτιο φρεκοβαμενο με πολύ ωραία διαρρύθμιση .

Tutto moderno e molto pulito. Colazione nella norma e buona. Dall’hotel con una breve camminata si raggiunge il centro di Chora molto bello, pieno di vita con ristoranti, pubs e discoteche. L’hotel assicura il transfer per e da il porto. La spiaggia più vicina è a circa due chilometri raggiungibile volendo anche a piedi o con bus pubblico oppure con un mezzo a noleggio. • stefan (10/5): Prima - Ligging is goed, loopafstand van het centrum. Maar ver genoeg om geen overlast van herrie te ontvangen. Zwembad is prima. Kamers zijn prima, echter het bed is wat aan de harde kant. Kamers zijn net aan groot genoeg voor twee personen. Ontbijt is goed, niet veel keuze maar genoeg en lekker. Gastvrijheid is fantastisch, opgehaald en weggebracht van de haven. Personeel erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Al met al een prima verblijf.

• Emma (10/5): Amazing! - Amazing hotel in Ios Chora. A short walk into the main centre but far enough out that it is nice and peaceful. Excellent room with everything you need. Exceptionally clean and tidy. The pool area was so nice and although our stay was during some very strong Meltemi winds it was a great place to relax. Excellent breakfast provided with lots of choice. Not only that but there was a complimentary pick up from and drop off to the port. Would return without hesitation next time.

L’emplacement est idéal, uniquement à 5min à pied du centre de Ios et 10 min du port mais assez excentré pour ne pas entendre le bruit des bars/boites de nuit. • Karthik (10/5): Great stay and value. - We had a great stay at Avanti and would recommend it for others. The pool is great,clean and really refreshing in summer. The rooms are small but super clean and most overlook the pool and sunset. The breakfast as others have mentioned is the same each day so can get repetitive if you are staying for long stays. The rooms do not have a kettle or tea and coffee making facilities but the hotel is happy to provide. Fresh towels are also provided each day which is great for the beach. Also the hotel is about a 10min uphill walk from the main town.

They do port pick up and drop off, provide a map of the island and give bus information. The hotel has a great pool with a stunning view of the town. Sunset at the pool is really beautiful. The location is ideal. It is two minutes to the town where there is shopping, a market, ATM's and restaurants.

We felt very welcomed when we arrived and we also got picked up at the port and driven to the hotel without any charge. The personal was also very helpful with tips on what to do and where to go dinner. The rooms was nice and comfortable and of an okay size. We also had a small balcony overlooking the pool area. The pool area was also very nice. Nice relaxing areas and sunbeds as well as a small bar. The hotel was very close to the city center. Just a 5 minute walk, but still it was a calm area. The breakfast was also nice. We would definitely stay at this hotel again if we were to come back to Ios.

The family running the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The only negatives of the stay was the old air conditioner that would randomly stop working and the out-dated decor. Other than that, the hotel was very nice. Would stay again!

Accueil très chaleureux de la part de Margarita et Thomas, avec plein de conseils utiles et des adresses et choses à faire dans toute l'île. La chambre était très bien : propre, belle et silencieuse. La piscine est propre et agréable. Et surtout la vue est superbe!!! Le petit déjeuner est bon, nous aurions juste aimé avoir un jus d'orange frais ;) Si je reviens à Ios, c'est ici que je séjournerai!
• Giuseppe (10/5): Nice hotel to be in Ios - We had a wonderful stay at Avanti hotel i highly recommend it. The hotel is very nice clean with a nice pool and a good european/greek breakfast. It is close to the center and to the bus station by walk. By walk you can go down in 20 min to a very nice secluded beach. The position is great because you are not far from IOS nightlife but you will hear less the noise of the bar and clubs so you can enjoy crazy nightlife and after have a good sleep
