- Janette (10/5): Stay was excellent have no complaints, and would certainly stay there again and recommend it . - Everything about Marias Bed and Breakfast was wonderful. Maria could not do enough for you to make your stay pleasant. Every morning she cooked a wonderful breakfast and both her and her husband's hospitality was superb. There was nothing about this stay I did not like

- Peggy (10/5): Maria’s was wonderful! -
- Charlene (8/5): It was very pleasant. - Comfortable bed. Very friendly hosts. Very quiet. Breakfast was good, although we only had one option. It did not apply to us, but we noticed that the website said all rooms were accessible, and the rooms were on the second floor. Ours was first floor, and with shoes off, we needed to go up a flight of shiny wood stairs to check in and for breakfast.
I was hoping for a view, based on the website.

- Amelie (10/5): Gemütlich und herzlich - Super gemütliches BnB und tolle Gastgeberin
- Chrislyn (10/5): I had a layover coming back to Alaska, stayed with Bob and Maria before, convenient and comfortable, - Just a really great place to stay.wonderful hosts, great breakfast, comfortable bed. The house was decorated for the holidays…beautiful! N/A
- Sharon (10/5): Wonderful helpful couple were very friendly. Hospitality was excellent - Very easy to find and navigate around A few homeless people were around that area
- Günther (9/5): Würden wir wieder buchen - Sehr ruhige Lage Alles super
- Marna (10/5): Will definitely stay again, and have already recommended to other people. Thank you!! - Loved everything. Appreciated being able to check in a little early.
- Lisa (8/5): - Breakfast was lovely; hosts interesting although gave us incorrect information that led to a wasted 2 hour drive! Room ok, but not as advertised.
- Brian (10/5): - Everything was excellent! Breakfast was great and the conversations were enjoyable. We liked everything about this B&B.
- cynthia (8/5): Very, very clean & comfortable! Welcoming hosts. - The breakfast was excellent. Fresh cooked pancakes & eggs. Very good coffee. The only negative I can say was the location. The B & B is at Campbell Creek (which is nice) & when we pulled up there were some sketchy people lingering around the park. The B & B has lots of apartments around it. In the middle of the night, we heard a man yelling quite loudly in the park.
- kavita (10/5): - Maria has such a great place - beautifully decorated and she and her husband are so welcoming!
The breakfast each morning was so great in the dining room that overlooked the creek, and the room was well furnished and comfortable and had everything we needed!
- David (9/5): - The couple was friendly and the breakfast was excellent
- Brad (9/5): If I was to go back to Alaska I would spend all my nights at this B&B if I was to stay in Anchorage. - The breakfast was great. The location was off the beaten path which makes it a nice hidden place for a little peace and country. I just can't say enough about this B&B. One of the best that I have ever stayed in. Great hospitality. Nothing..

- Kim (8/5): - First off, the place was very difficult for us to locate, even with our GPS. The neighborhood is sketchy at best, and one time there were several cop cars at the apartment complex across the street. In walking up to the house, there wasn’t a Welcome or Enter Here sign so we didn’t know which door to go through. When we did figure it out, we walked into a small foyer with stairs going to a second floor. Again, we had no idea where to go or what to do. Finally, another couple staying there came by and said we should go upstairs. We felt very uncomfortable walking into someone’s living room, who we didn’t know. Eventually, someone came out and took care of us. While there weren’t any restaurants we were interested in eating at close by, we did find an Applebee’s down the road, nothing special.
On the bright side, our room was very large, clean, and comfortable. Good TV. While I was hoping for some kind of “creek side” view, nothing ever indicated there would be. We never even did see a creek.
The couple who own this B & B are extremely friendly and accommodating and the breakfast is to die for. We were there two days and Maria outdid herself!
While we wouldn’t stay there again, it’s only because we’ve decided that we aren’t B & B kind of people. We aren’t social at all and pretty much keep to ourselves anyway. It just made us feel like we were staying in a stranger’s home, which we were. I have friends, though, who would love this place.

- Adria (9/5): - Maria and Robert are excellent hosts who are passionate about serving others and being a light to all who enter their door. They treated us like royalty, making our 23rd wedding anniversary extremely special with roses, chocolate, martinelli's and a thoughtful card. The setting was beautiful with the creek and woods behind the house and we had a great view from our cozy room. Breakfast was delicious!
- Judith (7/5): It was an ok place but not super. - If room Rules- having to remove shoes on entry
- Alissa (4/5): - 420 for a night ?
- Donna (10/5): Very comfortable beds, super clean and exceptionally friendly owners! - Very clean! Dark outside at night
- Stephan (9/5): A very beautiful place for exploring the region around Anchorage - Fresh made American breakfast, interesting and fruitful conversations, relaxed atmosphere, view from the room into the park where a Moose showed up with her calf :-)
- Paloma (9/5): -
- Christopher (8/5): -
- Almas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dana (6/5): Unfortunately we did not feel welcomed nor felt we were treated as guests due to the restrictions of using the parlor ar - The property was very clean. We were not able to use the grounds of the property nor the lounge area on our first night. The owners were going to a prayer meeting and locked the upstairs parlor that had the only view of the premises and the creek. Our only alternative was to stay in our room. The outside gardens were all overgrown and there was no place to sit comfortably and were in disarray with fences in need of repair and discarded buckets and other objects littering the sidewalk. We walked to the nearby park but felt unsafe due to the tent village set up near the creek. I could not recommend this place to friends.
- Brad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kristin (7/5): Good - Very nice hosts and clean comfortable rooms. Homeless activity in area was concerning. Overall price was high with questionable location.
- Donn (10/5): Great stay, excellent host, delicious breakfast and wildlife right outside your back door! - This place was a great B&B to experience the true Alaska. There was a steam out back that was connected to a park which had salmon swimming up it to spawn. We also woke up to a magnificent Moose right outside our window which Robert made sure to let us know about via a phone call. Breakfasts were excellent and felt like home. Each morning Maria prepared eggs whichever way you wanted and usually had a serving of pancakes or potatoes with either bacon, ham or reindeer sausage! We had a very spacious room and it was clean & comfortable, couldn't ask for more... The area around the home concerned us at first because it had a few unsavory characters nearby with a few homeless but they never bothered us. We went for walks in the park and did not have a problem, so do not let that keep you from reserving a room at this excellent B&B.
- Elana (10/5): Quiet and comfortable. - Room was quiet and s comfortable bed
- Peter (10/5): great - The room we had is very large and breakfast was excellent.
The owners are very pleasant and eager to help. No room for improvement.
- Linda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bill (10/5): Exceptional - Breakfast and owners were great!
- Charles (9/5): Superb - Soooo clean. Clean is always our number one priority when staying away from home. A classic B&B experience I highly recommend. Very personable owners. Pretty woods and creek within easy walking distance. Did I mention how clean it was? Having to remove shoes. I have bad feet, and it hurts to walk barefoot. It was not mandatory, and Maria was not insistent at all. My wife went without shoes, and I wore slides that I only wear in hotel rooms (or B&B) when traveling. Although the rule certainly contributes to the cleanliness we loved, I guess I still felt a little guilty.
- Mary (10/5): - Very clean and beautiful property.
- Ann (8/5): A nice place to stay if you have your own transport and don’t need darkness to sleep. - It was very clean and Maria’s breakfasts were very nice. There were no light excluding window coverings just a lattice blind which meant it was virtually daylight all night long. Maria did pin up a blanket after the first night which covered some of the window and cut down on a bit of light.
- Roxanne (10/5): - The owners were very kind... made me feel very welcome!!!
- Beverly (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful location on creek
- Roger (10/5): - Large, well-appointed room with private bath. Super friendly and knowledgeable hosts. Beautiful views of creek and park from room, plus a moose 25’ away in the backyard at breakfast. Thanks for everything.
- Palfrey (8/5): Very good -
- Cole (10/5): - Accommodated me at the last minute, everything was clean and as advertised. Great breakfast conversation with the owners to top it off!
- Leonard (10/5): - A wonderful place to stay in Anchorage. Comfortable, convenient with kind and thoughtful hosts.
- John (10/5): - Very nice. Quiet. Relaxing.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Harrison (10/5): Exceptional -
- Susan (10/5): Don't miss this one! - This little gem backs right up to Campbell Creek Park. Well located in Anchorage but has a remote feel. Especially when the moose strolled through in the mornings!!! Maria is charming and Robert is her biggest fan! A last minute room change was no problem, she was very accommodating. Coffee/mini fridge. Her full breakfast every morning is lovely and other guests bring lively conversation of Alaskan adventure. It was a very comfortable and pleasant stay! Don't miss this one!
- Duane (8/5): Very good - Never had
- Consuelo (7/5): Good -
- Consuelo (7/5): Good -
- April (9/5): Would stay again! - Very good breakfast with a view of the creek from the dining room. Very nice hosts. Good location for exploring Anchorage.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sharon (10/5): Wonderful trip! Would definitely stay again and highly recommend to couples staying in the area! - Right next to Campbell Creek Park. We got to see a moose up close and personal on a walk through the park. Room and common spaces were SUPER clean and the food was plentiful and delicious. Host and hostess were gracious and friendly. A little more clarity regarding check in may be helpful. We weren’t sure how to access the property, as all doors were locked when we arrived. HINT: ring the doorbell! 😉
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional - We found the staff, facilities and the breakfasted to be excellent.
- Kathleen (10/5): - Huge room with a comfy bed. Beautiful Creek in the backyard. Felt safe traveling by myself at all times in this area. Thanks, Robert and Maria!
- Gloria (10/5): - Absolutely delightful! Loved everything about this stay! Thank you Maria and Robert, you were lovely. Will be back next year!
- Eric (9/5): Comfortable, close proximity to trails, and lovely accommodations. - We loved the comfortable bed, the large room, and abundant and close parking. Access to the park trail system was also really great. The morning breakfast with Maria was wonderful; we enjoyed learning about the history of the property, and the lives of our hosts. We were taken aback by Robert who brought up a politically heavy question to begin the breakfast meal and discussion, particularly given the recent change of administration and drastic actions against federal employees.
- Emma Susie (10/5): - I enjoyed everything about their property, Friendly and so clean..
- Maureen (10/5): A Very Nice Quiet Retreat on Campbell Creek - I enjoyed my stay at Maria’s Creekside B and B. Nice change from a hotel. The room and home were extremely clean and very comfortable. Met all of my needs plus some. And very quiet. Breakfast was delicious and delightful. Great conversations too. Maria was very accommodating in meeting extra needs. I highly recommend staying here.
- Elyssa (10/5): - Maria and Robert are fantastic hosts. Accommodations were clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was all homemade and delicious. Perfect place to stay while in Anchorage.
- Shirley (9/5): Very clean, comfortable and quiet. Totally relaxing! - Delicious warm breakfast
Every detail had been attended to. Not fond of Roku TV!
- Alexia (10/5): Will be coming back! - Really a cozy stay with wonderful breakfasts made my Maria. We had a great visit that was made even better with Maria’s bnb. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and taken care of.

- Tammy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karl (9/5): Superb -
- Biao (9/5): Very nice B&B, worth visiting - Maria&Robert is very nice and friendly. The living room is beautiful with many exquisite crafts, the kitchen is also spacious, and the view outside the dining room is beautiful. My daughter is under 11 years old. When I booked the room, the booking showed that there was no additional charge. But in fact the landlord still charged extra fees for the child.
- Debie (10/5): - Super clean and quiet. Bed super comfortable. Small fridge in room would stay here again. I heard breakfast us good too but we had to leave to early ti try it. Next time.
- Timothy (10/5): - Pleasant stay, hosts were great breakfast very good.
- Kathy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anthony (9/5): Comfortable start to our Alaskan adventure - Large comfortable room & an excellent breakfast. Good recommendation for an evening meal.
- Renee (10/5): - Maria’s B & B is a jewel. It is safe, clean, and beautiful. Maria is a wonderful hostess and breakfast was great. There is a creek that flows by the property and it is picturesque. I can’t say enough about what a lovely place this is. I highly recommend it.

- Regina (10/5): - This is a quaint little B&B. It is excellently kept!
- Michael (10/5): Very nice stay. - Clean, comfortable facilities. Breakfast was very good.
- David (10/5): Great location away from downtown, clean & cozy, wonderful hosts - We stayed 4 nights and every morning Maria prepared a different home-cooked breakfast in the upstairs dining room. Eating was family style around a table with other guests. Maria and Robert built this place to specifically be a B&B and Robert's craftsmanship shows. He used old church pews for the framing around the windows and doors. The parking was free and close to the B&B. The Wi-Fi was free. Keurig coffee was provided in the room along with soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. There was a small fridge in the room. We appreciated the two sitting chairs in the room. The location in Anchorage was close to everything if you have a car. In the back of the B&B is a creek with a walking path... a nice setting. Maria and Robert request that shoes be left by the exit door, but I wear orthotic shoes and cannot walk barefoot. I made sure to clean my shoes before walking inside, but sturdy slippers would be welcomed.
- Michele (10/5): Exceptional -
- Randall (10/5): Exceptional -
