• Rich (10/5): - Australians with young family visiting South India for the first time. The staff were polite, attentive and made everything easy; picked up from the airport after midnight, provided delicious traditional breakfasts, clean rooms, provided water bottles and clothes washing on request (additional fee), arranged drivers as needed. This was a very good experience. The care taker Saiyer was very attentive. Highly recommend 👌
• Frank (10/5): - This is a well kept small hotel set back into the jungle, about five minutes away from Trivandrum, with the sounds of native birds filling the air in the morning and evening. The rooms are comfortable, with beautiful tropical views, and the staff very accommodating.
• SHYAM (10/5): - The caretaker of the property went beyond his duties to make us comfortable and arranged for our dinner and some personal needs.

• Arockia Anto (6/5): - Way too overpriced. There is no telephone in the room. Number shared by the owner is not always reachable. They did not provide bed sheet and there was no hot water in bathroom.
• Veena (8/5): - Had a very good stay at Vasudevan for one night. Only thing we noticed was, one of the rooms had a slightly bad smell, and the bedsheets seemed a bit old. The other room that we had also booked did not have such issues. Overall, very good stay. The host was extremely gratuitous, and the breakfast was good. Would recommend this place, for anyone wanting to stay in that area.

Auch das Frühstück lässt sich individuell gestalten und wird mit regionalen Speisen gespickt. Alles super, es lohnt sich hier vorbeizuschauen.

• Francis (8/5): - Property was clean. Staff was very friendly and was ready to help with anything. Location was a bit away from the rest of the hotels, but the staff had transportation for very reasonable charge for our trip to the airport. I will recommend this to anyone who is looking for a safe & comfortable accomodation without burning your wallet.

• Anneta (10/5): Comfortable Stay - Vasudevam is provides for a comfortable stay away from the craziness of the main streets of Trivandrum. The staff and owner are accommodating and helpful.
• MANJUNATHA (2/5): Not worthy stay - It is a very small property of 4 rooms; no power back up and not worth for the money charged. Not even fans available when there was no power which was a major problem during my stay. Hall has TV but no fan; food home type but only one type which they charge Rs 150. Over all it is not recommended for the charges of over 3000 per day; I do not recommend. No wifi!! Remotely located in between the small residential area even getting auto is an issue.
• Ramesh (10/5): Nice home stay. Comfortable rooms. - The owner came to meet us and answered all our questions. There is a cook on the premises so order your dinner there as there is nothing within walking distance. Of course if you have transportation this is not an issue. The food served was south-Indian vegetarian food and was quite tasty. A coffee maker in the room would have been helpful for people like me who like coffee first thing in the morning. However, our stay lacked nothing and was very pleasant and comfortable.

Have a Car available for driving around or will make arrangements to rent from partners. amenable to procure identified art works from friends / partners. Need to provide cash for incidentals , be prepared (and even room &aboard fee if not paid in advance to booking agent like Expedia) Overall very nice. Feed back to management to connect bathroom to air conditioning
• Amy (10/5): Wonderful place - The staff is so helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to help me and accommodate my requests. The place was quiet and clean - just the place I wanted to be after a long journey and I was picked up in the middle of the night. The food is delicious and healthy. I highly recommend staying here anytime you are coming to Trivandrum.
• Venkatraman (10/5): Home away from Home at Vasudevam - Perfect for a quiet get away from the traffic and sounds of the centre of Trivandrum; Vasudevam is a gem, just 20 minutes by an auto rickshaw from the main state transport bus stop, tucked away in a lane in Edugramom. The host, a gracious, perceptive and very helpful person understands what it takes to ensure a comfortable and home away from home for travelers. The rooms are comfortable, very well equipped, and include a living area and kitchenette and dining area, and very neat, clean and spacious bedrooms and an attached bath. If you wish to hire a car to travel around Trivandrum or visit places of trourist attraction over a hundred kilometeres away, you can hire a car from Vasudevam, and rest assured that the car is driven by a good and trusted driver. We stayed at Vasudevam only for two days but right from the time we stepped in, which was rather late, we felt very comfortable. The in-house chef prepares some delightful spreads. The only note of caution would be for those who wish to fully avoid chilly, then you must inform the host. For the money charged, Vasudevam offers compelling value, definitely a tough competition for the four-star and five-star hotels in the city. If life brings me back to Trivandrum, I would definitely choose to stay in Vasudevam, and I recommend it to others.

• DT (10/5): Good apartments with great welcome - Dr Rajan could not have been more helpful. Arranging transport for us from the airport (excellent driver) a home cooked meal on arrival and arranging a trip and massages for us. The apartments are clean, modern, spacious and comfortable. I would certainly stay there again.

The hotel has their own taxi. The driver was very patient taking us to visit the attractions. On the whole it was a pleasant stay
• shingetsu (8/5): また泊まりたいホテルです。 - 予約や送迎等も問題なくスムーズに行きました。またホテルの経営者がIT企業を経営していて、ホテルの１階にあり、社長の対応も問題なくスムーズに行きました。 また１日の時間があり、ホテルから車の手配で、行きたいところにも連れて行ってもらいました。 価格もそれほど高くないので、次に行くときも使いたいと思います。ただ食事をするには味の点では問題ありませんでしたが、どちらかと言えばホテルでの食事と言うよりもゲストハウスです。
• Kameel (10/5): Great place to stay - I would stay here again. It's a bit out of the central area but quiet. Staff are exceptionally friendly. They have a car that can take you around and can arrange trips. They also have a wonderful home-cooked lunch and dinner. The room we stayed in had a kitchenette and was roomy. Nothing like a five star hotel, but comfortable.
• Senthil (10/5): Pleasant stay. What else should I say? - Stayed here twice on the same trip. Very tidy and practical rooms,at a very affordable cost,great service and food(if you're into South Indian Kerala style food). Call the hotel in advance for pick up/drops. The only shortcoming (not as much) I noticed was that, the location though very close to the TRV central & Airport, lacked a quick access to public transportation. This should not be much of a concern, since the hotel has chauffeur driven vehicles you can hire. Overall a very positive and pleasant experience staying here. I'd very highly recommend this place.

I was vorried but latter the friendly staff and the owner Dr Rajan made us to feel as living with our family. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone want to take rest and away from city environment
• Amy (10/5): Feels like home - I have been to Trivandrum before but this was a perfect stay...the food was amazing...the staffs are extremely friendly and go out of their way to assist. Away from the noisy city but accessible to go anywhere with a reasonable price in a comfortable taxi with a very experienced driver. We will surely visit again and stay longer.

L'hôtel est bien situé : proche de Trivandrum, de Kovalam et de l'aéroport, dans un quartier très calme. Le personnel et la direction sont très attentifs aux demandes de la clientèle et particulièrement aimables. Ne pas hésiter à demander des conseils pour le séjour, ainsi que des suggestions de visites. Nombreuses facilités, à un prix raisonnable, pour tous les déplacements.

• Verified traveler (10/5): おすすめホテル - 評判通り良いホテルでした まず空港へのピックアップ 予約したらすぐにメールでどうするか 確認があった お願いする予定だったので有り難かった 空港にはちゃんと名前カードをもった人が待ってた 部屋は広く清潔で素敵 お湯もたくさん出たし キッチンついてるのでお湯もわかせる 南部に来たら食べたい食べ物があり オーナーにいってみると夜朝昼と三食で用意してくれた スタッフは笑顔だし アーユルベーダマッサージも言ったら ３０分後にはマッサージする人を連れて来てくれた (ここの屋上に専用部屋がある) マッサージも気持ち良かったです ただ 夜中に突如カユミにおそわれ 今までなったことないくらい お腹も背中も真っ赤に、、、 オイルにカブれたもよう 朝にオーナーに言ったらアレルギーだろうとのこと ちゃんとオイルを洗い流せてなかったのが ダメだったみたい アーユルベーダの薬をくれた これ飲めば 次の日には治ってるよ！って言われたがた まだ所々カユミが残ってる ただカユミの程度と範囲は小さくなった もちろん薬代は請求されなかった あとこんなアレルギー症状出た人は いままで一人もいなかったとのこと こんなことがあったが このホテルはオススメできます オーナーが親切ですぐに行動してくれる アパートっていう性質上 フロントがあるわけでは無いので 用事が有るとき若干不便 周辺にはちょっとしか店はない だからすごく静か 空港にも駅にもマーマー遠い

• Suresh (8/5): Good - Plus points : The rooms were clean, neat and spacious. Personal touch by Dr Rajan and his staffs, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Roof top dining was a different experience. Away from hustle and bustle of city with nature setting. Cool and calm environment. Internet available. -ve points : A bit remote location and no restaurants or convenient stores nearby. Order dinner early,pack or have dinner before checking in. My only bad experience was the cost of dinner which was quite high for a simple parotha and capati dinner.

Det ligger lite off men det gjorde ingenting för oss då det blir riktigt tyst på kvällen vilket det ofta inte är i Indien.
• Shamma (8/5): excellent home stay..A get away from noisy town - I'd a wonderful stay in this place a few days back, suite is quite spacious with a hall and balcony in a very well maintained building. Inspite of the fact the place is located 5km away from the city i would recommend this as the hospitality of the staffs were quite amazing also the food provided was so delicious.
• Betty (10/5): Elegance at a reasonable price! - This was a beautiful and very comfortable hotel at a very reasonable price! The upstairs eatery had excellent food and even though it was not in the nerve center it is only a sort taxi ride to venues.
• Venky (8/5): Classic - Though I have been to Trivandrum a lot of times, this was my first stay at Vasudevam, which is about 9+kms from the airport. The manager was very kind to arrange a pick up from the airport at a reasonable price. Here are my comments about the place: Positives: 1. Rooms are fresh, clean and maintained properly with basic amenities 2. Spacious rooms with all basic amenities for both business travelers and tourists 3. Very good food, which is tough to find in Trivandrum in a lot of hotels. Though the menu’s are fixed and not much options are there, they accept specific request in advance 4. Personal care of the manager prior to coming to the hotel and during the stay - the service quality is very good 5. Naturally well lighted during the day 6. Good beds and so you will get good sleep 7. Eco friendly – solar heaters being used 8. Finally – reasonable price for business travelers Negatives 1. There are only 5 properties – so there is a possibility that you may not get the booking during peak seasons 2. It is slightly far from the city centre but walkers can capitalize on this to get a good long walk 3. There are no nearby good shops/ATMs
• Saju (8/5): Good Experience - We stayed here as a part of our family trip. The stay was satisfactory. I'm listing the pro's and con's to clarify the reasons behind my ratings. Pro's: 1:Prompt service and friendly staff (never missed the breakfast, even when we had to check out early.Delivered drinking water at night) 2:Clean and beautiful rooms. 3:Beautiful location. 4:Tasty and homely food. Con's : 1: Little far from the town.So have to travel a bit (catch a bus) if you need anything past the kerala shutdown time of 8 pm 2:Would have been better if there was a wash basin outside the bathroom, especially for a family of four.It would help with getting ready faster. 3.You can't really see the river from the window as claimed in the description.The view is blocked by a house.You can see it from the terrace though.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Not close to anything. At all. - We booked this hotel last minute and it was one of thinly remaining hotels available in the area. Despite the hotel description saying that it is located close to some of the main attractions in the area I can assure you, it is not. In the area there is nowhere to eat within walking distance, although the owner is willing to go and collect food for you. we booked a room for four people and were incredibly disappointed with the 'extra beds' provided, they were around 1 inch thick mattress on the floor that was lumpy due to being foldable which resulted In a very unpleasant sleep. The air conditioning and shower were superb, but the room did not have the kitchenette that was advertised.
• Lorraine (10/5): If this is possible, why can't others do it? - I understand that certain things are complicated and difficult to get hold of, in many parts of the world, and we always like to have a make-do attitude when travelling, but when you come across a place like this, it just puts so many others to shame! Decent beds, beautifully and stylishly decorated, newly painted, spotlessly clean, pleasant chatty owner, wonderful bathroom, reasonable price, nice food ... all perfect. If you intend to use the kitchen it was well equipped. We loved the location, well away from the hustle and noise of the centre, surrounded by coconut palms, but just a short tuck tuck ride into the city, or to the beaches in Kovalam. Well done, so many could learn from you, there in India and here in the UK!

• Carro (10/5): Bra standard - Jag var väldigt nöjd med hotellet! Rummen var stora och färgglada med bra bekvämlighet för att vara Indien. Ägaren är väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam och kan hjälpa en att ordna taxi, etc. Frukosten är enkel men bra, men det finns bara ett indiskt alternativ. Det ligger lite i utkanten vilket var väldigt skönt då man slapp ljudet från trafiken när man skulle sova, men tyvärr gör detta också att många rickshaws inte hittar dit. Det är dock lätt att lösa då managern gärna förklarar vägen för chauffören om man ringer upp.
• Ida, Camilla, Josefin (8/5): Mysigt hotell i närheten av Trivandrum - Ett mycket mysigt hotell som låg utanför Trivandrums centrum. Vill man komma bort från stadslivet och njuta av naturen så är Vasudemvam något för dig. Ett minus var läget och att få kände igen namnet.

• Rita Rambaran (8/5): Comfortabele bedden - Het was heel rustig vertoeven in dit keurig netten hotel. Alles met een gepaste kleur corresponderend. We hebben heerlijk geslapen, alles voelde heel goed aan en het geheel was heel schoon verzorgd. ook de ontvansgt was heel hartelijk en het ontbijt heerlijk op z''n Indiaas!
