Guest Reviews
- Crystal (2/5): Was not what is advertized berry disappointing - Was a decent price I was switched rooms at check on as not the room I booked. Room looked nothing like website. Says microwave on every room was no micro wave no black out currents . Holes in sheets and blankets . Room smelled and for being watched to a handicap room with two beds instead of one bed as booked they also should have had a fire alarm in the room it was ripped out the crawling and I had to buy a bottle of bleach to clean the bath tub. Just not what to expect from pictures on booking .com
- Nicole (2/5): - I paid extra for a room that is advertised as a smoking room. The room is not smoking. Why advertise something that you don't have and make people pay extra for it. The bed was hard as a rock and the internet services are very spotty. Being told im booking one thing only not to get it. I pay for it thats what I expect to get.

- Dasjah (6/5): - Fairly safe, but my bedding was dirty and my door was open when I arrived. Other than that pretty nice for the price and area.
- Gregory (2/5): - Standard issue "Fleabag". It was clean, but boy, does it need an update...badly!
- Andreas (5/5): Dringend renovierungsbedĂŒrftig - Immer noch zu teuer fĂŒr den Komfort
- HILARY (10/5): - yes and yes
- harry (8/5): - Older motel but clean, missing shower mold that older motels tend to have, yay. Coffee was good in the morning.
- angela (2/5): - Things were stole out the back of my truck. Staff was the one who took. Dirty and unsafe horrible place
- michael (10/5): -
- Pamela (8/5): - The light from the pool area lit up my room around the curtains at night and I need darkness to sleep well.
- Allen (7/5): -
- Reeve (1/5): - We we arrived the outside looked run down and not kept up. The lobby was okay but it tooke the front desk awhile to get there to check us in. The hotel smelled bad of cigarettes. Will not stay there again.

- Shannan (2/5): - IF YOU ARE SENSITIVE TO CIGARETTES, DO NOT STAY HERE. IF YOU HAVE ASTHMA, DO NOT STAY HERE. The hotel was permeated with the smell of cigarettes. I had to open the window in our room to even sleep. In the morning, was physically ill from the smell. As soon as i entered the hallway to put luggage into car, i was physically gagging on the smell. I literally gagged up tobacco and had second hand smoke
- simmons (2/5): - A place to stay It was fun down
- Corey Martinez (10/5): -
- Cullum (1/5): -
- KellyAnn (2/5): - I have never and would never book a smoking room as a severe asthmatic. The hotel was dirty and the whole place smells
- Evette (10/5): - Very satisfied for the price thank you
- Jennifer (4/5): - The walk was covered with holes. Recent smoking. The bed smelled like smoke.
- James (1/5): - I wasn't able to get into my room until 10:00 am the next day cuz nobody was at the front desk and I reported a late arrival. I'm upset that I still was charged for that night. They should have refunded one night.
- Kotar (6/5): - The beds were comfortable There were bugs in the bathroom
- Jennifer (6/5): - there was no sign as to where the lobby was
parked cars with flat tires in parking lot
poor lighting in hallways
the room was as clean as an old room could be
old mattress
furniture in bad repair
carpet old and coming up
curtain didnât cover window properly.
the staff was friendly and helpful but the whole facilities need some attention.
- Dawn (2/5): 1980âs bad experience - A Time Travel Experience for the Brave
If youâre craving a trip back in time to an era best left in the past, then the Roadway Inn in Cheyenne is right up your alley! Upon our arrival, I was immediately greeted by the charming sight of a broken window with a cardboard patchâperfectly setting the tone for what was to come. My 11-year-old was so taken aback, she didnât shed tears of joy but rather pure existential dread. Sometimes, life just has to impart those hard lessons early, right?
Kudos to the front desk lady who was nice enough to check us in. Bless her heart for being the sole ray of sunshine in what can only be described as a âunique lodging experience.â Now, we were aware (thanks to the website) that they had smoking and non-smoking rooms available. However, learning that âsmoking roomâ effectively means the entire motel operates like a college dorm during finals week was a revelation we didnât quite anticipate. It really should come with a warning: âEntire establishment infused with the lingering aroma of cigarettes and questionable choices.â
While our room was clean, I can only assume the bed was originally crafted for a pull-out couch in 1983. Seriously, with a frame that screams sofa bed and a mattress that dreams of being a comfy cloud but falls tragically shortâa nightâs rest became more of an arduous camping experience. We arrived to find the window thrown open (perhaps in a desperate attempt to air out the history of regret
- amanda (2/5): - I want a refund, the bed sheets looked dirty and stained. There was no fan in the bathroom. Didnât like it at all
- Lennah (10/5): - Nothing to share
- Joyce (10/5): -
- Verified traveler (2/5): Best Stay to Stay Away - For a Rodeway Inn this property is really run down. The staff do their best with what they have and are friendly and helpful. The rooms are minimal. Memory Foam Mattress on metal frame was the highlight. Bed had 1 set of clean sheets and thin blanket. I was cold. Furniture doesnt match. 1 panel drape didnt fit window and allowed no blackout. Bathtub...what was right? Dirty with lots of calcium build up. 1/2 of 2nd floor isnt even used. It is sketchy and owner needs to give up, bulldoze, and start over
- Steve (2/5): - No tv no internet room smelled terrible insecure. Taking a shower hot water quite. Stains on the blanket
- Bobbi (2/5): - This is very out dated, far out of town, run down and very overpriced with 2 thin towels and one hand towel for a 2 queen bed room. It was supposedly handicapped accessible but had a step over tub. One bed was ok, the other so bad I sank into the middle.
- Wanda (7/5): -
- Chris (6/5): Itâs worth the money. - Itâs during the most expensive time of year in Cheyenne. The room was cheaper and clean. People are super nice.
- Michael (6/5): - Adequate road side stop, part of a larger property with restaurant, gas station, saloon
- mario (8/5): - Good service
- Ralph W (8/5): - I was happy to have a place to shower and sleep.
The room was comfortable and quiet.
- Constance (10/5): - Front desk staff was excellent
- Ashman (1/5): AVOID AT ALL COSTS, KEEP DRIVING! - Absolutely nothing. The outside doors do not lock, anyone can walk in. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom, when I went down to ask for some there was a customer complaining about being overcharged ( she was incredibly rude, but nothing the properties fault). The mattresses were so thin you could feel the springs underneath. The frame of the beds are fold up metal frames that create a large rise in the middle that makes the bed unusable if you move AT ALL in your sleep. The airconditioner was so loud and rattling, that it was unusable. There was short curly hairs in the tub, SO GROSS. The carpet was so filthy my socks were black after a couple walks around the room. Absolutely appalling conditions. By far the worst place I have ever paid money to sleep. We slept for two hours, enough that we wouldnât die on the road and left.
I canât even believe a place like that exists. WILD.
- Bill (2/5): - Property old run down and not handicapped friendly
- Arlene (2/5): - The bed was terrible. Felt like it was a pad on squeaky springs : sagged in the middle. I wouldnât walk on carpet without shoes. When entering facility the smell of pit was evident.
- Daily (10/5): Exceptional -
- Diana (10/5): - Very good after a long drive.
- Theresa (10/5): - It was nice
- Bonni (8/5): - Friendly staff. Rooms were big
- Verified traveler (6/5): Convenient - The cost of hotels is rather high in that area. Normally I would think a room like this would be $60, not $90. Carpet was worn, coming up at the edges and a big whole in the entry. A piece of the counter was missing. The area was questionable and everything but the room smelled really smoky. The beds, sheets, and towels were soft and the bathroom had great water pressure.
- Antonio (2/5): - The toilet paper holder had an empty roll on it. We had to put the new roll on. There was trash from the previous person that stayed there.
- Eileen (10/5): Exceptional - I always stay at Rodeway Inn. sad but I had to cancel and because I used an online service I was charged double their normal rate and when I cancelled they are refusing to refund me any of my money. The Staff and the Hotel are great but if I have to use an online service to book the room I will not stay. They need to get a different on line service that won't rip you off.
The staff and hotel are great. I would recommend that if you want to stay there call the front desk and book your stay directly with the staff. The online service is a total rip off.
The staff and the Hotel are great.
- Nathan (8/5): - Hotel showing its age; however, it's hard to beat at the price point. Staff were available whenever I needed assistance.
- anna (4/5): - Dirty, smelling weed all through the hallways, huge steins on the carpet in the room,in the bathroom and shower was having only 2 mid size towels, with questionable cleanliness.
- Kerr (5/5): Passable - staff was great the handle to the water faucet was broken and the TV wouldn't come on.
- ĐДгаĐčĐŒ (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peeples (1/5): Bad - Staff was friendly Room was not clean, sheets weren't even on the bed right, stuff all over the floors, shower was gross and it looked like someone had just used it right before we got there.
- Corey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (10/5): - Warm and carpet on the floor
- Alannah (7/5): Good -
- Samuel (4/5): - No way!
- Jimmy (6/5): Pleasant - The room was nice and clean and had no smell
Very good water pressure The remote control for the TV would not turn on the TV or control the volume. I went to the office to see about another controller for the volume the night shift lady said she would get another one and never came back.
- Marc (2/5): - aside from the obvious hole in the wall no one had taken the time to patch, there was not one working outlet that wasnt taken up by the mini fridge or lamps. not a free plug, anywhere.
room was absolutely disgusting. would never stay at again.
- Paige (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bruce (6/5): - TV was provided but no information. Clerk from the front desk came to put it on so she tells us and then try to explain in writing. Hotel is very hard to find. Off the beaten track. Very loud and noisy in the halls
- Joette (2/5): - This property was disgusting. Ended up not staying there. They need to be inspected.
- Turner (1/5): Bad -
- Jeffrey (2/5): - No wifi , no t v run down smelly , not worth ten dollars
- Candraeah (8/5): - Property was okay. It was s as nice stay
- Paki (2/5): - Dirty, seriously run down, overpriced, sagging mattresses, ragged bath towels complete with holes, odds and ends for furniture, stained upholstery, sun bleached rag curtain on window. Had zero idea of poor condition of inn prior to booking. High rate due to Cheyenne Frontier Days, 7/19 through 7/28. Located next to very nice Sapp Brothers truck stop, with a good breakfast at the Apple Barrel restaurant.
- Margaret (4/5): - The property was obviously not kept up-to-date. The towels and bedding were nearly threadbare - there was just one thin blanket on the bed and we had to bring one in from the car. Luckily, the foam mattress was comfortable. Due to the condition of the room and property, this was not a good value for the price.
- Susan (1/5): Bad - Nothing, didn't spend the night there. Very dirty. Smoking room, not clean. Clogged sink drain. Not clean
- Karla (2/5): - Never got WIFI working. Property was very dilapidated. Front desk clerk was not friendly. Beds were not comfortable.
- Sherilynn (10/5): - To be fair it was a truck stop so I am not going to complain. Also the staff was very accommodating. The price was a bit high for a truck stop motel.
- Ageda (8/5): Very good - No breakfast Room had a sticky substance in rug
- Jamison (2/5): - The check-in staff was nice⊠The whole Building is run down, inside & out. Pictures must have been from years ago. Abandoned vehicles with flat tires scattered around parking lot. Looked sketchy in the daytime. When/if you do make it to your room the smell of disinfectant slaps you in the face.
- Craig (6/5): - The staff was great. The building not so much. The entire building is in need of desperate repair. Rooms were at least clean.
- Eldon (8/5): - Barebones facility. Holes in the thin bath towel. We did get a small discount as the facility was not even close to what was pictured.
- Gene (6/5): - Ah probably c- Bed, bathroom, sheets TVđŹđSaloon and restaurant next store great Western roadhouse experience
- Wesley (4/5): - Should have been remodeled 40 years ago! Carpet stained, nothing covering the box springs. It is in a truck stop and hard to find. We booked on line trusting the Rodeway name, that won't happen again !
- Rex (2/5): - Plastic bag over smoke detector. Holes in walls and doors. Bathtub black from not being cleaned. Leaking bathtub faucet. Cheap bed, just a thin mattresson metal frame. Stains on furniture. I can't belive this is still a Roadway Inn.
- Vance (6/5): Pleasant - Close to I 80, had smoking rooms available
- Jacqueline (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elbert (10/5): - It is ok
- Kristina (3/5): Never again and would not recommend - Nothing This is a trucker motel. No fridge microwave old tv with difficult remote. Worried about my safety. Location was 10 miles east of Cheyanne which was way out of my way
- Humbel (5/5): Passable -
- Salazar (4/5): Disappointing - The cheapest It's looking old and not very safe
- David (1/5): It reminded me of a bad flop house. Room needed to be maintained better. Positive side. towels were - Towels were clean. Sheets were clean. Wi Fi worked good. Clerk was nice. I did not mind that it was a truck stop. Bad marijuana smoke. Lights did not work. Curtains terrible. Outside appearance not good.
- Mary Jo (2/5): Worst Hotel Ever - Worst hotel ever⊠dirty, stains on sheets and comforters we left and found a hotel that was much better⊠this hotel is awful⊠I did not get a refund but shouldâŠ
This hotel needs to be demolishedâŠ. DisgustingâŠ
- Barbara (8/5): Nice, clean, and quiet room. - Nice large room and quiet. There were no chairs in room. It needs at least one.
