• sedup (10/5): TIP TOP und TIP TOP - Dies ist ein super tolles Hotel. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit wunderbarem Ausblick zum Fluss. Der Manager hat uns Fahrräder bereit stellen lassen, kostenlos. Dies war für uns ein super Service, da wir nicht mit dem Auto unterwegs waren. Um die Stadt zu erkunden war dies super toll. Alles Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist zu Fuss in 20 Minuten vom Bahnhof erreichbar. Dies ist ein netter Spaziergang dem Fluss entlang. Alles TIP TOP

Location on the river was scenic, and it was a short 5-minute walk to the concert hall. Room was a nice size and spotless, and staff accommodated all requests professionally and with a smile. • Restedmama (8/5): Great hotel, needs to prioritize security - I love this hotel and stay frequently however I was disappointed with the lack of security procedures with my recent stay. At check in, I was asked if I would be having any guests and I said NO! An hour later my date arrived early so instead of having him wait outside I told him to come in. He stopped at the front desk to register for parking. They allowed him to charge his parking to my room and OFFERED HIM A KEY TO MY ROOM WITHOUT CALLING ME FIRST! Calling to confirm should be standard practice before giving someone a key to a room they’re not listed on. I was on the phone with him listening to the entire interaction and he didn’t ask for a key, it was offered to him. I was shocked! Fantastic hotel, great value. I will stay again. I’d just like to see management review safety procedures with employees because this should never happen!

• Derrall (9/5): It was a very relaxing, enjoyable stay. Would definitely consider staying here again. - Location downtown was great as we were able to walk from the hotel to the Centennial Concert Hall in 5 minutes. It was quiet & clean. Price was reasonable, even with the addition of the parking fee. We were able to order supper from a nearby restaurant, which was delivered to the hotel & added to our room cost. This was very convenient, especially since it was so cold outside! When the temperature in the room was too hot, we turned down the thermostat a degree or two, which unfortunately caused the heating/cooling system on the wall to blow cold air into the room in order to reach the desired temperature. It was a bit uncomfortable to have the cold air blowing on us for a while, but certainly not a deal breaker in deciding whether I would stay her again or not :)

Working in the hotel industry overseeing multiple properties, I was surprised and unhappy with the fact that after extending my stay from 4 days to 5 days, I was unable to get a late checkout, which resulted in me having to sit in the lobby for over 2 hours. Processes are poor.

Real glasses, Nespresso coffee, spacious rooms, luxurious towels and fancy shampoo/body wash. Easy access to downtown and Canadian Museum for Human Rights. Excellent food and friendly staff at adjacent Cibo restaurant. Highly recommended.

• jillfulnesst (10/5): Relaxing stay - We went to Mere Hotel for a one night staycation for my husband’s bday. We had a very relaxing stay. And we got a complimentary late check out for his bday. Thank you so much Mere Hotel! Additionally, the room is clean and love the bathroom amenities. The only thing though is that there are not so many food options in the area. So if you want to have a budget experience, you can order online and have it delivered. The hotel allows you to order out since they don’t have a restaurant. They have a vending machine on the 3rd floor if you want snacks. Overall, we had a great stay. We stayed here for our wedding night before. And now, we stayed with our little one 😊

The TV could have been better... Netflix maybe and have microwave in the rooms so we can warm up food. Have an actual fridge...

It’s pretty and nice and the cleaning staff is INCREDIBLE. the best part of this hotel is the cleaning staff. They work SO HARD. They’re so pleasant and kind. They make everything amazing. They deserve a raise! I don’t know what they get paid but they’re worth more!!!! I liked it all I can’t think of something that’s “bad”

• Robert (7/5): Relaxed - Chinese weekend desk person has to be informed about Western culture. He is very Asian in his dealing with conflict. I tell you this not as slight against Asian people but to make his path in hospitality easier. He comes off as confrontational and aggressive. He did solve the disagreement but a more uptight client might have escalated the conversation and would hate to see your employee when he gets aggressive for real. The rest of your staff were polite and helpful. I will come back and stay next visit to Winnipeg

Had to park in a ground lot nearby where our car was broken into and items were stolen. A couple thousand dollars worth of damage and loss makes it not a great value

• drnorth (8/5): Good Value. Nice Location. - It is of reasonable value. (I couldn't find anything cheaper and acceptable at the time I went.) It is a nice location on the river, but in downtown, walking distance to most attractions and many restaurants and cafes. The staff were nice and the place was spotless. Good wifi, hot water, a TV that worked. It feels a bit cheap, and is clearly trying to be trendy, which I am not sure is an endeavour that it pulls off, but if you were really concerned with luxury or design, you wouldn't stay here. Plus, you're in Winnipeg, so temper your expectations. But I would stay here again and have already recommended it to a friend.

The parking lot is not big enough and I paid for parking for 2 nights. On the second night we had to park on the street despite paying for a spot. Again...wouldn't be an issue except when you have someone with mobility issues, it makes a difference.

Most guest forced to do street parking- we had to park 3 blocks from the hotel by a homeless tent encampment. Had to check out early since street parking was on a time limit. Hotel was secure and safe which was great but worried about vandalism.
• Wendy (10/5): - While the hotel itself is in a beautiful area it of the homeless and a higher criminal element. This is not the hotel’s fault, it is a social problem that the city needs to provide more social services.
• Brandy (8/5): Wonderful - Clean comfortable hotel with wonderful restaurant by the river. Hotel would benefit greatly from a bigger parking lot as parking is very minimal for size of hotel. If you park on the busy street it’s not the safest at night if you have to walk a few blocks which is disappointing for such a nice hotel.
