Customer service said to restart the TV but did not work. We had to watch TV on our cell phones. For the price I paid you would surely expect it cable to work.

• Miranda (4/5): High priced motel disguised as hotel - Dining area is clean though the seats are worn. Bed was comfortable. Front desk attendant was polite. Upon check in, was told to provide a card to place on file. I’d prepaid using booking.com and received email confirmation of payment. I was charged when my card was placed in file in addition to prepayment. It was not until I contacted customer service that the front desk attendant tried to correct the mistake. She told me she processes reversal. Again, customer call center confirmed she did not fully process. Customer service in a call center provided the reversal of the charge of the card on file. The conditions for both hotel rooms were unacceptable. Initial room was very humid to the point I could feel the moisture while breathing. Front desk attendant switched us to a different room on 3rd floor. Many dehumidifiers in the hall, perfect. 2nd room’s tub filled quickly because it did not drain properly, which indicates that housekeeping and management do not check the rooms between stays. So my ankles were in dirty water from previous guest. Very unsanitary. I stopped by front desk to inform her and was told that there may not be any draino (she didn’t check) and that I should have told her before I’d gone to pick my son up from school. Which would not have been long enough for any fumes to leave the room. It felt that there’s an implication that it is my fault the issue was not resolved.

Shower head had only one setting that worked and it was a small and hard pressure stream. 3. Office chair needs replacing. Couldn't even lean back without falling back. 4. Ice maching not working on first floor. Had to go up to 3rd floor to get ice.

Front desk gave us some info on dining for the evening meal and she was spot on!! Morning breakfast was clean and well prepared! Check out was just as good! Excellent in every way! We will stay here every time we get into town..because of the great customer service we had!

• Alan (8/5): - The people always make or break my assessment & the staff at this hotel were all hard working fine people clearly proud of their place and its presentation. Everything worked as it should and was quiet, squared away & clean. The property serves the oil patch & travelers alike and again, it is clean to a fault, quiet & from my experience, very well maintained. Very nice large grass pet area in the rear & is surly worth mentioning and the pet policy and cost was the best I have encountered.. If you want the breakfast you better be an early bird. At 9AM it is over and cleaned up quickly. No factor for me. The property photos I saw showed a Jacuzzi pool - nope - removed. A little disappointed - again, no factor. There is a nice sparkling clean pool. Here’s the one & only rub - the little child-height commode(!!) Top of the seat is no more than a couple inches higher than mid-calf(!!) Yikes! Thought I was going to fall in & call for help getting back up!! Thankful for the door handles - just sayin’. Half joking because everything else was fine. Great folks and a nice stay.

Coffee was always filled even with the capacity I know the rooms are at on this weekend. We appreciate the staff being so friendly on one of their busiest weekends of the whole year. We only stay here every year for the Strawberry Festival.

• Charlotte (8/5): Arrival Confusion - Stay was good. Peaceful and quiet location. I arrived later than planned due to a flight delay and when I did arrive, there was no one at the front desk. I had to call twice before someone answered and the associate’s excuse was she was in the back doing laundry and could not “see me” on the camera. While she was very nice and helpful, I think someone should be available at the front desk at all times. She may have been the only person working, but still. If I would not have called twice, I most likely would’ve stood there for a while.

I called before the cutoff time and the Clark was not able to cancel my reservation due to it being done online. I go online and service is even worse than the live person on the phone. Shitiest experience with a vendor like Expedia!!! I will be explaining details to family and friends never to book with Expedia or La Quinta!!!
