- sandraandfarleyh (10/5): The marvelous Home Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina! - Our experience was absolutely marvelous. It was one of the most memorable hotel stays we have ever experienced. The character of the hotel was so unique, from the lobby to the dining area to the room. The staff - whether it be reception (Azul, Ari), the dining room staff, and the ever-attentive housekeeping team, made our stay so very, very comfortable. We enjoyed chatting with the lady manager who was extremely pleasant and helpful to us and made us always feel welcome and special. The food at the restaurant was excellent and one of our waiters was even kind enough to get us the recipe of one of the delicious baking goods (the coconut-dulce de leche cake!). We haven't yet tried to duplicate it - but we certainly will. We look forward to returning, and we have already recommended Home to a number of our friends, who may very well visit you one day. Thank you for everything. We will always remember you!!!!!!!!

The customer service was outstanding - both before and during our visit. A very clean and well run hotel in a great, quiet and safe neighborhood. The staff were very attentive to gluten free dietary requirements for the breakfast. Good value for the high quality of service and facility. All staff were able to comfortably converse in English.

Reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly, explaining transport and ways to exchange money. Also great food, particularly breakfast choices. - Excursion600525 (10/5): Delicate clean boutique hotel with pool - Exquisite service during our 5d stay at this nice cozy boutique hotel February 2026 . Clean delicate rooms. Nice breakfast. Perfect small garden in the back with clean pool. Situated in charming Palermo with lots of restaurants/places in walking distance. Using uber it’s situated just a short ( and cheap!) 10min ride to city city parts as San Telmo ,Boca etc more south in city. We did not try spa service, which was offered in the basement part of the hotel.
- violet50 (10/5): It doesn’t get better than this! - We spent 5 wonderful days at Home Hotel. The Palermo neighborhood is the place to be, with its vibrant restaurants, shops and bars. Home’s staff was so attentive and helpful with reservations and recommendations that were so spot on and the beautiful private garden/pool area was such a perfect place to unwind- we never wanted to leave. We had to keep reminding ourselves that there was a city out there that needed to be explored!

The staff were so friendly and they helped us organize many day excursions while were in Buenos Aires. The breakfast was always lovely and again, the staff was great. We would stay here again! - 988DH (10/5): One of Buenos Aires’ Gems! - Our time here passed much too quickly! Loved everything about this place, but especially their employees!! Each one of them made us feel at home! From the front desk, to housekeeping, to the restaurant/bar staff, our highest expectations were surpassed. Their concierge service was a tremendous help! Hard to believe how many great places to dine were nearby! Love the neighborhood! Oh, our bed was quite comfortable and plenty of nice pillows, plus great A/C! The hotel is attractive, hosts a very nice breakfast w delicious coffee. Garden dining also an option. We enjoyed dining there at dinner too. Service was very personable by the way! The only suggestions I have for improving the place is to have more as well as easier accessible outlets for charging cellphones, etc. A bigger ledge to hold opened suitcases would be helpful too.
- nisangabbay (10/5): Good value and service in great neighborhood - We stayed at Home for 7 nights. The location in Palermo is excellent, lots of great restaurants within walking distance. All of the positives in the other reviews are true, so I'll try to highlight some new things. My favorite thing about the room was the shower - great flow rate and temperature control. If you are vegetarian or like healthy foods, you have three great veggie restaurants all within a 5-minute walk of Home - Let It V, Casa Munay, Artemisia. We started in a Standard Room and switched to the Garden View ... for the extra $30/night, we felt it was well worth it. We had room 12 which we liked a lot. Avoid room 10 if possible. When you checkin, Home gives you a small recommendation book for Buenos Aires, which we found to be helpful and pretty spot on. As other reviews have mentioned, the service staff are all great and readily accessible. The included breakfast is nice, although perhaps a bit limited in selection. The rooms are nice and spacious enough, I'd say the linens and bed are a tad below luxury quality but still comfortable. Overall, I think Home is an excellent choice for a stay in BA if you like this neighborhood (Palermo Hollywood). Recoleta would have been the other neighborhood I might have considered staying in, but you get more value staying at Home.

Really well situated in an area with interesting shops, bars and restaurants. Fantastic staff for whom nothing is too much trouble, they make all guests feel welcome and special. We loved the garden which was a great retreat from expeditions around the city. Our room, one of the suites had a fantastic large outdoor deck and was very comfortable. Great breakfasts, nice options cover all bases. Importantly, excellent freshly made barista coffees. We loved this hotel, would definitely return, and recommend to others.

The hotel is small, boutique and very cool. Bedrooms and bathrooms were great. The breakfast was wonderful - delicious range of pastries, choice of eggs, yogurt & fruit, toast, coffee - and eating it in the garden is the best, surrounded by flowers, butterflies and hummingbirds. The staff were friendly, helpful and made us feel at Home! Thank you!

- GuEsEaK (10/5): A Perfect Stay in Palermo — Beautiful Hotel, Amazing Staff, Unforgettable Experience - Home Hotel was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Buenos Aires. From the moment we arrived, the warm mid-century modern design and intimate atmosphere made us feel instantly relaxed. Despite being a small hotel, everything is thoughtfully crafted and beautifully maintained, creating a calm, welcoming space that feels special. We stayed in the Loft Room, and it completely exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, bright, and stylish, with generous outdoor areas — including a BBQ — that made it feel like our own private hideaway. The step-in bath was a real treat after long days exploring the city. Every detail of the room felt intentional and luxurious. The location is fantastic. Palermo is safe, vibrant, and incredibly walkable. We loved strolling to the nearby gardens and parks, visiting the zoo, and exploring the endless cafés and bakeries on every corner. Two of the city’s best restaurants, Don Julio and El Preferido, are just a short walk away. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious every morning — the cinnamon rolls were unforgettable — and the lunch we had on our final day was one of the best meals of our whole trip. The food and drinks were consistently excellent. A special mention goes to the wonderful staff, who made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. Their warmth and kindness made a huge difference. And the hotel cat added a touch of charm we looked forward to every day. It rates as equal to my experience in the very best hotels in the U.S., Europe, and Asia, and probably falls among the top three hotels I have enjoyed. A few examples: on arrival, the Loft was not arranged with beds in both the upper room and lower room. I mentioned to Sheila that I would need a bed in the lower room and she asked if I wanted a queen size or would a smaller one suffice. I responded that I needed a queen bed. Within two hours a bed was moved into that room and made up. It was comfortable and, well, perfect. Another instance: On leaving I needed to settle a car bill in cash but only had Uruguayan pesos at the time (pre-dawn). The desk attendant calculated the amount and served as a currency exchange agent so that I could get off to the airport on time. I mention this because at that hour, there was no one to consult, and so she made the call, the lesson being that the staff are trained to make decisions on the spot that favor the guests in such situations. That is a departure from the usual at hotels. The Loft itself was terrific. It was bigger than we expected, meticulously cleaned and readied for us, and the servicing of the room each day was impeccable. It was bright and colorful, and so, so quiet. We slept great. There is more to say - the friendliness and proactive thoughtfulness of the staff in every aspect from the restaurant to the concierge to the front desk and the chamber attendants. The location is perfect - the neighborhood is full of restaurants, shops, night spots, bars, milongas, and street art. I would stay here again in a second.

The hotel rooms was clean and comfortable. The location was excellent, being safe but also lively and close to many different restaurants. The highlight was the breakfast, which was simple but so fresh and delicious - no stale buffet food here! We 100% recommend this hotel for your stay in Buenos Aries.

The private roof garden is a beautiful and peaceful place to relax after a day of exploring. Everything about the hotel/home is tranquil . Truly I have never come across a hotel with such a personable staff, bar none. They made everything possible for these first time visitors and over the days became faces you were happy to see and chat with; they only want to make everything perfect for their guest and they do. This is special place with special people running an exquisite little bit of paradise in a very large city. Well done!

- jgitelman (10/5): The Name Says it All - Home is perfect! My wife and I stayed here as our last stop on our Patagonia adventure. It is in the Palermo neighborhood - safe, extremely walkable, lots of restaurants, tree-lined streets and comfortable. The location was great for exploring the rest of the city by Uber. We got to know the folks across the street at the coffee shop, Zur Cafe. The hotel is different than most. It really does feel homey with modern architecture, furnishings and lush tropical gardens/pool area. The main floor/entrance is all glass from front to back which gives you a sense of being outdoors. Rooms are contemporary and stylish. I could imagine this hotel being someone's home. What a treat to live in it for 4 nights. This is not a cookie cutter hotel. What really sets Home apart are the people. Staffed by a young, enthusiastic, warm and helpful staff, we truly enjoyed meeting them all at the front desk, concierge, and restaurant. They were all so friendly and genuine. Cristobal, one of the concierge's really stood out, as did our server at breakast. Btw, the included, served breakfast was great - tasty and satisfying. So nice to have breakfast at Home. The hotel provides a booklet with dining and other recommendations that is The Bible. We took it with us, everywhere. We showed it to several locals and they all were quite impressed with the way Home distilled the best of Buenos Aires into a 44 page booklet. It is crystal clear that ownership and management go to great lengths to make guests feel welcome, attended to and... at Home.

- ceciliadA4613FR (10/5): A Home away from Home - We booked the Loft, which it’s an apartment with a different entrance next to the hotel. It was very confortable for our family of 4. They had 2 twins bed ready for the kids at the lower floor and a queen bed on the second floor for us. The loft has an equipped kitchen a patio at the entrance and a balcony on the second floor. We had breakfast at the patio next to the pool every morning, the vines and flowers are absolutely beautiful. Very peaceful. The location is fantastic, very close to most attractions, we used Uber and most of our rides were around $6. The front desk employees were amazing, they answered every question with care and great actitud. We would definitely consider staying at Home again in our next visit to Buenos Aires.

- alschwaa (10/5): Can't Recommend Home Hotel Enough! - We had a fantastic stay at Home and would highly recommend it to any travels to BA! It had a great location in the heart of Palermo Hollywood. Tons of restaurants, shops, and cafes nearby to wander into. Also close to public transportation (bus and Sube) that made getting around the city a breeze. The staff was unmatched - so warm, welcoming, helpful, fun to chat with, and knowledgeable, they really made it feel like home :) Upon arrival, the hotel provided us with a pre-prepared booklet of recommendations throughout the city that was extremely helpful and after trying out some of their recommendations, we can safely say that the suggestions were fabulous. The included breakfast was delicious, the garden courtyard was lovely (peep the hummingbirds and persimmon tree). We booked a standard room that had all of the essentials and the most amazing shower pressure. Hopefully we'll be back to BA sooner rather than later, and would look forward to staying at Home Hotel again!

Situated on a quiet street in the heart of Palermo, you'll find a treasure trove of great restaurants and bars within easy reach and the rest of the city is just a short Uber ride away. The first thing you're given on arrival is a curated book of places to eat and drink, all tried and tested by the staff and the owners. It's just the first of many personal touches that sets Home apart from bigger, swankier and more impersonal alternatives. The best thing about Home, the thing that'll makes it live up to its name and will make you swear it's the only place you'll ever stay in the city, is the staff. They're all incredibly friendly and super-efficient. They make you feel like it matters to them that you enjoy your stay. Stay in one of the rooms overlooking the garden (we stayed in Room 11). Have a Pisco Sour in the bar - they're the best in the city. Enjoy the great breakfast (and lunch). Chill out in the garden - if you're lucky, you might see hummingbirds. This is quite simply the nicest place we've stayed in a very long time. This was our first visit but it won't be our last.

- billsO3152FN (10/5): Fantastic boutique hotel in Buenos Aires - the best we've stayed in for a long while. - We heard of Home from a friend and we're so glad we stayed there. The location is great. Tons of restaurants, bars and coffee shops near by. 15 min walk to the subway. The lobby is decked out with a Argentinian art. There is a nice restaurant with indoor/outdoor seating. The back area is a lovely oasis with the pool and a green area filled with humming birds, butterflies and the hotel cat (who was not interested in the humming birds!). It was perfect place to enjoy breakfast or a drink. The room was large and tidy. We were grateful for the AC when we returned from sightseeing on a 90F / 33C degree day. But what really made the place special for us were the people. They were all great! Super helpful, professional and on the ball. We pretty much knew everyone after a week there. I don't know when we might get back to Buenos Aires, but we'll absolutely stay there again when we do!

They do a great breakfast, and a small brunch menu which goes on most of the day. (Try the burger - best ever). They play great music (quietly - its not too loud). Room was quiet and comfortable with good soap / shampoo etc. , the only addition i would like is coffee making facilities in room (you could quite easily go down and get one, or get one sent up ) and an iron in room (although in the 4 hotels i stayed 4 or 5 star in argentina none had an iron - but this is just a personal preference) Lots of restaurants , bars in area with good recommendations. This is a lovely little hotel and good value.

It was in a good location in Palermo district. It was exceptionally clean and quiet. Food we had on sight was well prepared, good portions and most importantly tasted good. Area felt safe with many excellent food options close by. Staff were consistently helpful and very friendly.

The immediate area of Palmero is more of an artsy community with no-nonsense restaurants/bars with a great neighbourhood feel. It's a bit off the beaten path but more of an experience of local culture. Highly recommend it. We had the pool side suite with a fireplace on the patio and that room was amazing.

The whole staff is super friendly and start calling you by your name the first day, this goes from the concierge to the restaurant. The breakfast is great, the pool area and the whole back yard makes you relax and the spa section downstairs is also great. The rooms are very tidy, beds are great and the interior is minimalistically chic. Just the fact that you can communicate via WhatsApp with the concierge if you want to get some real time tips or recommendations, gives you the feeling as if you get the best local service possible when I was visiting. I will come back for sure!
