• Paige (10/5): Like you’re in a fairy tale. - This place is spectacular. We only had enough time for one night but it was well worth the trip. The house and gardens are out of a fairy tale. The view is stunning. The host and his daughter are extremely kind. The owner is an artist and his daughter is a culinary artist. The breakfast she made was perfection. There is nothing negative.

• Cheryl (10/5): Our stay at Nuit Blanche in Bruges was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared - The guest house itself is breathtaking. The historic home is filled with charm and character, beautifully preserved with stunning original stained glass windows that make you feel as though you’ve stepped back in time. Every corner of the house feels elegant, warm, and unique. The tight winding stairs, but I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.

Kaldığımız odalardaki tarihi doku bizi eski çağlara götürdü. Bu kente gelip tarihini bizzat deneyimlemek isterseniz hiç düşünmeden Nuit Blanche’ye rezervasyon yaptırmalısınız. • David L. (10/5): Absolut perfekter Aufenthalt! Wir kommen wieder! - Es war wirklich alles rundum perfekt. David als Gastgeber war absolut wunderbar. Er hat uns sehr viel über das historische Gebäude und der Geschichte erzählen können, außerdem hat er uns rund um Aktivitäten in Brügge helfen können. Das Frühstück war einfach etwas besonderes. So etwas habe ich in bisher keinem anderen Hotel erlebt. Die Lage war außerdem top. Wir sind aus unserem Hotel raus und waren direkt zentral in Brügge und konnte alle erkunden. 2 Schritte aus dem Hinterausgang und wir waren auf der Liebesbrücke, einer der Top-Attraktionen in Brügge. Unser Aufenthalt war einfach rundum perfekt - aber leider viel zu kurz. Wir kommen wieder!

• RUTH (9/5): Aangenaam verblijf in een sfeervolle omgeving met een super sympathieke gastheer. - De locatie is bijzonder speciaal en voor dat alleen is het verblijf in Nuit Blanche de moeite waard. Tevens is de gastheer de moeite waard. Er viel eigenlijk niets tegen.

La chambre offre tout le confort et est spacieuse. L'accueil est très chaleureux et les amateurs d'art seront également ravis par l'accueil de l'hôte des lieux. Le petit-déjeuner est atypique et excellent. La chambre est équipée d'un bain-douche et il faut être capable de bien lever la jambe pour entrer dedans.

It was an amazing place to stay. Thank you! If or when we return to Bruges we would stay here again :) Nothing really. The Room had a bit of a strange smell but that probably is part of the experience of staying in a historic property. We had a lovely stay ❤️

• Katja (9/5): Om nooit te vergeten - Dichtbij het centrum, hoe het eruit zag, de ontvangst en het formidabele ontbijt. Kamer was eigenlijk een appartement. Echt te leuk. Karakter brengt ook wat ongemak. Prachtige glas in lood raampjes maar wel tochtig en als je meer dan twee meter bent wel bukken.
• Israel (4/5): Decepcionante estancia tras sus positivas reseñas - Si te gusta sumergirte en la época medieval aunque penalices tu confort, este es tu sitio, es un edificio del siglo 15 con mucha historia, en perfecto estado. La ubicación también es excelente junto al icónico puente de San Bonifacio. Su anfitrión David es simpático, habla perfecto castellano, muy cordial y amable, te ayudará en cualquier momento. ¿Por donde empezar? Entiendo que un edificio tan antiguo presente hándicaps de comodidad pero solamente había radiador en el baño, donde funcionaba a máxima plenitud uno de ellos y en la habitación dependíamos de un radiador eléctrico. La cama no tenía nórdico, la sábana se deshizo fácilmente durante la madrugada y las almohadas duras como piedras que nos machacó las lumbares. Sin embargo, lo que mas nos sorprendió y de forma negativa fue el desayuno que se incluía en la habitación. En mi opinión, desafortunado y sin posibilidades ni alternativas. Me sorprende que lo primero que se ofrezca sea una macedonia de piña con avellanas y mandarina y una especie de mini stracciatella (todo casero) cuando habitualmente el cuerpo suele requerir algo "más contundente" para empezar, así que tocaba esperar (un buen rato) al siguiente plato y mientras (si te gusta) comer lo ofrecido. El siguiente era un plato con dos huevos muy hechos con cherrys y perejil con un aroma picante y raro que tampoco creo que sea gusto de cualquier paladar y para acabar de nuevo una especie de postre de piña al horno con un gusto de canela potente que no creo que tampoco sea apto para cualquiera. Mi mujer, un tanto decepcionada, decidió abandonar antes de éste último y acabó comprando más tarde un gofre.
• Cornelis (8/5): Prachtige, sfeervolle locatie met fijn ontbijt - Schitterende locatie met veel sfeer, geweldige locatie en goed ontbijt Kamer is behoorlijk fris in de winter (het was rond het vriespunt buiten) en de dekens niet ontzettend dik. De kamer is qua comfort zeker niet middeleeuws, maar we hebben ook wel eens comfortabeler geslapen.

Amazing medieval building, exactly as the photos show - our room overlooked the Lovers Bridge & the stunning Church of our Lady. David & team were perfect hosts, very knowledgeable & generous. The three course breakfasts were gorgeous to look at as well as tasting delicious! Eating it in Davids studio made it even more special! Also we watched the film "In Bruges" whilst in Bruges on a projector scree in our room - fabulous We stayed for a special birthday celebration & would highly recommend. Nothing

• Melissa (10/5): - If you want an experience of a lifetime… like going through a Time Machine, David’s place is amazing. From the unique windows, to the enchanted garden, to the specially curated breakfast, this place was so special. My husband and I and our 3 kids stayed here one night and wished it was more. My kids especially loved the tourists stopping at the bridge to take pictures of our special place, and getting them in the background waving out of their windows. David was so helpful laying the city out for us and giving us recommendations to see and eat. We loved every bit of our stay. Ended the night with a 5 person movie in our big bed with the windows open to our quiet little corridor in the city. Absolutely perfect.

• Wayne (10/5): A magical medieval dream come true. - This was a Medieval dream realised after years of waiting to visit Bruges. The accommodation absolutely beautiful. Linen gorgeous, bathroom sumptuous, not to mention a dressing room. The age and ambiance of this house is awe inspiring. Our room overlooking the garden and Cathedral was truly heavenly. We had to pinch ourselves to be convinced it was real. Church bells, roses blooming by the garden wall, with an open gate to the canal and Lover’s Bridge. We sat out in the garden with a glass of wine and beer provided by our host, captivated by the boats passing by and happy chatter of tourists. All was quiet by 6.00. Just the sound of water lapping in the canal and church bell chimes. Breakfast materialised like an abundant banquet, with music and art, orchestrated, to please all our senses. David provided us with information about where to have dinner in Bruge and how to find the closest supermarket and tours. I didn’t want to leave and am already planning my next visit there but would stay longer. We loved everything. Best three nights stay we have ever experienced. This property should have a higher rating than 10/10. Value for money astounding.

• Lori (10/5): This is one of the most wonderful and memorable places I’ve ever stayed. - Our bedroom overlooking the lovely courtyard, the canal and the Church of Our Lady was spectacular. The bed was very comfortable, and our room was spacious. David is a very thoughtful and attentive host, he even carried our luggage upstairs. His breakfasts were delicious and we looked forward to them every morning. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Bruges, I hope to return someday. We loved everything about the property.
• Reed (10/5): Our stay at Guest House Nuit Blanche was an incredible experience. - The location could not have been better. The host, David, was extremely helpful and interesting. His amazing art was an added bonus. Breakfast was exceptional and delicious. Nothing.

• Ajolguin (10/5): Picture Perfect Medieval Stay in the Best Part of Bruges - This historic bldg was amazing, the location was perfect, right next to the Boniface Bridge and overlooking the Church of Our Lady. The room was very comfortable with a large bathroom and all the modern amenities needed. The breakfasts were fantastic each morning and so beautifully presented. And David was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. It was really nice to see him at work in his art studio.

• Alexander (10/5): Exceptional - Just back from our long weekend away in Brugge and the magnificent Nuit Blanche. David and his family were such magnificent hosts. Couldn't be more happy and accommodating. Firstly the room was out of this world. Rustic and beautiful, oozing history. The view was magnificent. I highly doubt there will be a better view in the city. Onto the breakfast. Wow. 3 courses, all hand prepared, healthy and delicious. When I come back to Brugge, there simply won't be any other hotel I would consider. Thank you David for letting us stay in your beautiful property. Absolutely nothing. Perfection.

Exceptional historic surroundings - both the house itself and the area of Brugge immediately around. Our host's art added another stunning dimension. Breakfast was similarly artistic and wonderfully imaginative It would have been nice to have a kettle to make tea in our room, but that's a quirky desire that probably only affects people from the UK and Ireland!
