• Graeme (5/5): Overall ok as long as a bracing cold shower is ok. - Nice room and modern hotel. Clean and very good breakfast. Despite complaining to the front desk no hot water for showers for first two days. When it was ‘fixed’ , the trick was to turn on the shower and wait several minutes. For such a modern hotel this was a big let down. At one point I asked if hot water costs extra!

• Cihangir Celal (2/5): Good breakfast, but the service and cleanliness standards were very disappointing - Good breakfast * There were blood stains on the bed sheets. When we asked for them to be changed, the same sheets were put back after being covered with a white substance. * The edges of the sink were very dirty and were never properly cleaned during our stay. * The air conditioner was malfunctioning and made the room extremely cold. Even after we called multiple times, the technician claimed it was fixed, but nothing changed and the room remained freezing. * We asked for fresh towels, but the same used towels were folded and placed back in the room.

The staff were very helpful and looked after us very well. The room was small but very functional and gave us everything we needed. The breakfast choice was enormous and very enjoyable. It was easy to get a snack at the bar and drinks and the service was very good. The staff were very helpful and reassuring with regard to keeping my medication at low temperature with the use of their freezer. All in all a great stay. Thank you.

No aircon in the gym and as the hotel is partly open there were a lot of mozzies (got bitten x5 overnight!). Adequate for an overnight but for the price there are better options (e.g. Paradox was only a bit more expensive)

The rooftop pool was great for the kids to cool off after the hot days. The breakfast and coffee facilities of a morning was a relaxing start to the day. Convenient location to be able to get around Singapore to catch the trains.

• Wai phoo Dermot (5/5): - Disappointed as with my booking it say pay at property and advised the amount I would be paying in AUS $, when check in they charge me AUS$135 more than I was informed on booking site, I questioned why I have been charged so much higher, answer I received, it’s not hotel issue this is currency exchange, rate I point out this is unreasonable exchange rate & I was quoted a price for my stay in AUS & when I check in you charge me additional AUS $ 135 but all I got was not you issue & if I want they will cancel transaction & do refund & charge price I was quoted , I sad you should have charge what I was quoted in beginning & I don’t want to wait 4 to 5 weeks for my refund, person I spoke to from the office behind reception became argumentative so I said put yourself in my shoes as a customer & I walked away and had no followup. Room is very small, breakfast area no room every day of my stay I tried different times but always so many people with not enough seating, I had to sit on a outside lounge chair with my plate on my lap one morning. Overall quite disappointing.

• Norm Brandsma (8/5): Top Floor Room - Clean, comfortable, high ceilig top floor room with a bit of a view of MBS. Lots of things to see and do within walking distance. Very good breakfast with lots of choices. Great lounging area and breakfast room. Excellent staff! Room was small with not a lot of space for luggage. Nice sitting area at the back of the hotel but just having a beer there was Pricey.

• R1412JUlilyl (10/5): My Go-To Hotel in Singapore - I chose this hotel because it is very close to Clarke Quay, and it's also convenient to walk to Chinatown. There are subway stations and bus stops nearby, making getting around very easy. The hotel has a stylish and minimalist interior design. It offers free breakfast and a free shuttle bus to my workplace, Mapletree Business City. The sales manager is also very friendly and helpful. Although the room is only 18 square metres, surprisingly, it can easily fit all 7 large pieces of my luggage without blocking my movement inside the room. Because of this, I booked another two weeks' stay in May and plan to extend my stay until I find a permanent apartment. If you're traveling to Singapore, you definitely shouldn't miss this hidden gem of a hotel.
