• Priyadharshini (8/5): Great stay, very hospitable staff. - Central location, clean room, nice staff, good breakfast! The bathroom didn’t have proper wet-dry areas and so it was slippery. Overall rooms can be better maintained.

Plenty of fresh fruit and an amazing selection of food on offer. Room was a little grubby . Other than that, there wasn't much. If anything to complain about really.

• Varma (5/5): Great location Small Rooms - Great location especially if you have work around Chembur area. Walking distance to Chembur railway station. The rooms booked through apps like booking.com are different from what is shown on the site. These discounted rooms are smaller than the regular one. In this hotel the first and second floor rooms are bigger and roomier and reserved for direct booking. Room on 3rd and 4th floor are very small rooms kept for app bookings because they are cheaper and discounted prices. When checking in or Booking ASK for rooms on the First or Second floor.
• Alexey (8/5): A nice hotel for reasonable price makes it excellent value for money. - A decent hotel with helpfully staff. If I'll be visiting Mumbai again, that would be my default hotel of choice. I could complain that there is no pool or spa, but that is not what I was looking for to begin with.
• Pj-108 (9/5): Good value for money for a clean and peaceful stay - Good little local hotel in a safe, quietish residential area about 30 mins cab ride from the city centre or airport (on a good traffic day). Frequented mostly by Indians. It's a five minute walk to the local market area where you can make purchases at local prices, eat some regular local food or have a more western style coffee/cake. The local train station into the city is also 5 minutes away. Good value for money: regular size room/double bed with decent bedding, bottled water, tea-coffee making, aircon. Room and bedding was clean, lots of hot water in the bathroom (not always the case in the local hotels). There's a reasonably priced same-day laundry service and decent Indian-style breakfast. Room service from the attached hotel is available for lunch, dinner or snacks. The staff are friendly, polite and helpful. Nothing in particular... it's not luxurious but the Plaza provides a decent stay for a decent price!

• Prasanna (8/5): WILL SURE TRY TO STAY AGAIN IF NEED BE - I DID NOT HAVE ANY BREAKFAST EVERY THING WAS GOOD. ROOM WAS CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE, READY TO MAKE TEA COFFEE PACKETS AND ELECTRIC KETTLE WAS AVAILABLE. TOILET WAS VERY NEAT WITH HOT WATER IN SHOWER, ANTI SKID MATTRESS.

The hotel room was decent, again its as the photo shows. Some signs of aging, but at least the air-con and TV were working. I had no troubles sleeping.

• 1 Night Guest (6/5): Nice hotel but Intrusive Staff - Hotel location along with surrounding neighborhood market is great. Hotel room fits the value of the nightly price. Problems encountered during hotel stay was with counter check in person who is unprofessional and needs basic course on how to deal with guests. Also, during our stay, we had several employees ask us about things that was none of their business or anything to do with the one night stay. Breakfast was below average.
• Luke (8/5): Good hotel, not a touristy location - If you are a Westerner, you will be the only one. This is a very vibrant and busy neighborhood with an active market set up every afternoon till 10pm selling everything from clothes to jewelry, fresh fruit and furniture. The hotel is a quick 5 minute walk from the Chembur suburban train station with trains taking you all over Mumbai if you dare using the overcrowded system. The hotel is also a 5 minute walk to the new monorail system, however, it won't take you anywhere really useful until the extension opens in 2015. The staff was excellent and very professional. The free breakfast was great!
