- Luciana (4/5): - I hate doing this as I rarely write about a negative experience but this is NOT a 5 star resort! No AC in the main areas of the hotel, (which just sets the tone from when you walk in) followed by an extensive wait to check-in which took over an hour, limited dining as your only allowed 1 reservation per entire stay at the (as they call them 3 themed restaurants but are actually 1 space divided making it very crowded) food is mediocre for a 5 star resort, the 3 main restaurants have limited seating all outside and very crowded, limited staff around the pool and on the beach, and the absolute worst is having to wake up at 5-6am to go save seating for your family by the pool or on the beach!!! Too many decorative pools that are inaccessible make the main pool area very crowded and not enough seating. Met and spoke to about 7 different families. Everyone we met had something to complain about from check-in taking hours to not having the rooms reserved ready and placing them in other rooms. We are very positive people and made the best of it. Really enjoyed the company and conversation of the bar staff at the main outdoors bar on the main floor. Teodora, Jenny, Alex, a few others forgot their names and the lovely Josephine who works so hard around the pool and the beach! I also want to highly encourage guests to tip the staff as we sadly noticed this to not be very common at all. They work hard but there’s not enough staff for this size facility.

- Assundina (10/5): - We have had a fantastic holiday at this resort. The hotel, staff and facilities are exceptional. The food is very good and the highlight was the fireworks and full moon party on our last night. I highly recommend this resort and will definitely return again.
- Eleanor Alice (8/5): - We recently stayed at the Mitsis Alila and had an overall pleasant experience. The rooms were very clean, modern, and offered plenty of storage space, which made unpacking and settling in really convenient. If you’re booking, I’d highly recommend choosing a sea view room—the views of the crystal clear water and beach are absolutely worth it. All the staff were friendly, from reception to housekeeping and restaurant staff. That said, I would say this hotel felt more like a 4-star experience overall. The main restaurant buffet could be cleaner, and the quality of some food was disappointing—most of the bread was stale, for example the gyros, crepes, and hot dogs buns. Soft drinks were also often flat. Despite that, the beautiful beach, great staff, and clean, well-equipped rooms made this a relaxing and enjoyable stay. With a few improvements to the dining and beverage service, it could easily live up to its 5-star promise.

- Michelle (8/5): - Hotel is clean and spacious and definitely one of the best ones in Rhodes, main issue is that there is no separation from the adult only and family parties and therefore can be very noisy around the pools and buffet dining. This can be easily rectified by the management by having separate areas in the restaurant dedicated to only adults and families with young children. There is an adults only pool but in the six days we were there it was packed and no space available (despite getting up at 6am). The al la carte restaurants are definitely worth a visit as well as the Champagne bar. Entertainment is good but finishes every night promptly at 11pm there is no nightclub as advertised on Expedia.

- Manish Shankar (10/5): - We are a family of 4 returning from a 5night stay at Mitsis Alila and had a great time. The facilities are are good and food in the al a carte restaurants were really delicious. The food at the buffet restaurant is a bit bland and boring but we were able to book the a la carte restaurants quite easily. The 1st night we were given a room near one of the adult bars which was noisy until about 2am but once we reported this to reception, they immediately changed our room and gave us a room upgrade which was really appreciated. Would definitely return here again in the future.

- Omotoyosi (10/5): Amazing Hotel, staff and food - This was my second time at Mitsis Alila, the staff were very friendly and helpful, always smiling. The food was amazing, lots of choices. We will definitely return the 3rd time. Deco was out of this world.

There was a salt water pool that people avoided because the water was deep and stung your eyes, there was a pool that was reserved for adults and there was a pool just for decoration. As a result most people went to the children's pool, which was always crowded. Another negative was the lack of shade.

The accommodation was great as it was a good sized room that was big enough for our family of four and it had a lovely view of the sea. It was also very clean and was kept so by the maids despite the efforts of our two young children. The food in particular was a major plus point as it was of a high standard and varied. Also, one of our children has severe food allergies. The hotel was very good at communicating with us about allergens in the foods and also offered to make versions of dishes without the allergens. They also provided dishes direct from the kitchen to prevent cross contamination (which is always a worry when eating at buffets when allergies are involved). Lastly, all the staff were very friendly and efficient!

You did not have to wait for the staff to help with anything you needed. The food was of a very high standard with a great selection of restaurants. The location was wonderful with great sea views and very clean throughout. Close to Rhodes old town if you wanted to venture and also not a far transfer from the airport. Lovely entertainment on an evening. An extremely good all inclusive Hotel overall.

- Sophie (10/5): - Wow! We’ve just left Mitsis Alila after a perfect week. The hotel is immaculate and the staff go above and beyond to look after you. There is so much choice of places to eat and drink, and they haven’t compromised on quality. The pizza bar on the beach was a personal favourite. We rarely go back to the same hotel twice, but we’ll definitely be returning!

Entire property was very well maintained with high cleanness. We visited many all inclusive resorts in the past but this was one of the best for us.

- Sophie Elizabeth (10/5): - A stunning hotel with top class A La Carte restaurant options. “All inclusive” really does mean all inclusive - unlike other hotels in the market, nothing is out of bounds. The restaurants are fantastic - make sure to make your evening reservations well in advance before you arrive though. Private Pool suites are more like a swim up room (the pool isn’t completely private), but still worth every penny in my opinion. We have visited this hotel for the past 2 years and will most certainly be returning next summer.
- Emma (10/5): - This is a great hotel. The location is excellent with easy transport to Rhodes town and a short(ish) walk to Faliraki. All the staff are amazing, so helpful and friendly. Nana in the greek restaurant was brilliant, as was Sofia and Daria in the Night bar. Also shout out to Nestor and Nicholas, good luck with school! Rooms were spacious and comfortable, there was always space around the pool or on the beach, I liked the free towels. The buffet food is nice, however the restaurants are incredible! We tried the Greek and Italian and would highly recommend, the pizza place on the beach was a personal favourite. Super easy to book transfers and taxis. It was also very easy to hire a car for the day. The hotel really has everything you need and we would not hesitate to book again.

Reception all staff were excellent 🥰🥰 and all restaurant staff great and beach bar person were great. Makes cocktails in no time. This time we were luck to get late check out with free of charge thanks to the hotel manager and receptionist 🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️. We will come back next year ❤️

There were some pet peeves regarding actually being ready for service in the mornings, and bringing the rigjt coffee or tea. Drinks were good at night and the live music was a nice touch. The beach is very nice though pebbly. Make sure to have flip flops or sandals. Overall the hotel and experience was very nice. A solid 8.5 out of 10. I would have no problem returning to this hotel again.

By virtue of the name and given the fact that on the hotel website it states a single room is for 1 person why are hotels.com selling it as accommodation for 2 adults? This is somewhat misleading and frustrating. Take care when booking. The hotel itself is ace and would recommend it.

Special mention to Pantalis for the wonderful service on the beach, Christina in the Ouzeri, Magda & Evie for being so attentive in looking after us & Vitalia in guest relations for promptly & professionally dealing with any requests. Lastly, its always a pleasure seeing George (old) at breakfast & lunch & hearing all about his family & his daughters forthcoming wedding. This is the only hotel we keep returning to year after year & will continue to do so. Massive thanks to all at The Alila & we look forward to seeing you again next year.

- Sonia (8/5): - Overall the hotel was Ana ing and we would visit again, however we were a group with 3 rooms, two of the rooms (507 and 407) would not be what you would existing a five star hotel due to its bathroom facilities. Tony bathrooms not suitable with no proper shower and no proper bath. Apart from this, the rest of the stay was perfect.

Our daughter loved the competitions, face painting, drawing time and playground. Not so good: amenity kit in room not replenished, including soap, minibar not replenished, we had to ask for basic things such as water, room just made up not cleaned, we’ve stayed for 10 days with sticky surfaces, not to mention spoons not replaced, or even tea cups not cleaned, restaurants booking impossible, should not be allowed to book prior to checking in, not enough sun loungers, by 9am all were booked by inconsiderate guests, rules set are not imposed, pools are too small, 3 in total. Kiddies pool occupied by unsupervised children creating an unsafe environment. Feral kids just running around, life guard wasn’t interested in keeping the area safe. There are babies and toddlers swimming around teenagers, it’s unsafe. I was kicked in the stomach by a feral girl, I’m 7 months pregnant, drink service very slow. Overall it’s a 4 star hotel with good food. Amenities are not great and the hotel should figure out how to manage such large number of guests. If you like all inclusive, it’s your thing. My daughter enjoyed it as she met a lot a nice kids who played with her. Plenty of activities for kids. For adults aside from drinking and evening music, there’s nothing else to do. Although it’s not the hotel’s responsibility, however many guests were plainly rude.
- Elikem (10/5): - This was by far the best holiday we've been on. The hotel was exceptional with a variety of dining options around the resort some of which were open until 4am. The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is also very close to the bus stop which os convenient for getting into town in either direction. I highly recommend this hotel it's well worth it.

Also Nana in brunch she recognised us from 2 years ago she is another lovely lady we will miss her hugs and chats. We would also like to thank Vengellis at the beach bar a lovely young man always cheerful and remembered what we had to drink. All of the staff are lovely here. Thank you for a lovely holiday. Very clean and friendly place to go. We was a little disappointed with the food this time. They have a very good choice of food but it could be a bit hotter.
- Emuobor (6/5): - On first impression we were impressed but a few things lowered our experience throughout our 6-night stay. 1. When we were taken to our room I saw a cigarette in our pool, however, this was removed immediately. 2. No one seemed to have the tools to amend our a la carte restaurant booking which didn't make sense since the booking was done online, that was frustrating. 3. Was not a big fan of the pebble beach experience Lindos had a better beach experience. 4. Kids club was not very engaging, and activities were very limited. No soft play options either. 5. The staff serving food in the main restaurant was slow and unattentive and this was consistent throughout. However, there was 1 extremely helpful lady I believe she was the host who showed brilliance. 6. Not as friendly as I would have expected everyone seemed to keep to themselves. Overall not a completely terrible experience but fell short of my expectations in a major way.

Staff were friendly and helpful, we had a bottle of rose in the room when we arrived and on our last night we had a fruit platter and lemonade delivered to the room, which I thought was really thoughtful. Would definitely stay here again so many food choices and excellent entertainment in the evenings, would highly recommend!

The stay was excellent and the kids had a lovely time. The rooms were clean & spacious with a lovely view and minibar . Our holiday was fantastic due to the lovely hotel & welcoming & helpful staff . They were very accommodating and friendly . Fantastic staff and facilities to relax and enjoy every minute .

I had room 604 sea view not as good as other sea view as it’s a little restricted with a wall instead of glass , otherwise wonderful large room 👍 Thank you Alila 💕

Not full sea view 😡. Also Expedia had given false info on city tax instead I had to pay 40 euro extra not what was on Expedia invoice!!!

- Isla (8/5): Not as good as it used to be - We stayed at this hotel in 2019 and chose it again this year as we had previously been so impressed by it. Unfortunately standards have slipped since 2019. Service was slow in many areas and products unavailable. We were a family of 3 but our room was made up for 2. Housekeeping did come and make the bed up but we never received sufficient towels.On ordering a latte or cappuccino at breakfast it was regularly up to 20 minutes before this was served. We were always finished eating before the coffees were served. Some staff worked extremely hard but others were quite lazy. Wait times in the bar behind reception were often excessive due to a lack of staff. They claimed they couldn't always offer all drinks as they hadn't had time to stock the bar, they had been serving customers since the start of their shift. The pool bar ran out of diet coke on day 4 of our holiday and it was never replenished. The food on the buffet was actually quite limited and repetitive compared to our previous trip.We had a vomit-like substance appear in the shower so called reception to no avail. After visiting reception they sent housekeeping up to dose the shower. Housekeeping blamed us for being sick in the shower when there was quite clearly an issue with the drains. She also mopped the substance up and then used the dirty mop to clean the bathroom floor! Alila was an excellent hotel but I would now say it is between average and good. It's a 4 star hotel now

It is a generous site and comfortable but has number of drawbacks. 1. food is appalling 2. the hotel is understaffed and service staff cant keep up with demands, needs and tidying communal spaces 3. pool is very small for this size of a hotel Overall staff are lovely and very accommodating. Given this is an all inclusive hotel - I wouldn't come back again because the food was that bad.

Make sure to book them in advance on the app or you will miss out. Lovely beach bar and amazing pizza whenever you feel like a slice. Room are run down and housekeeping standards are low due to the size of the hotel. Lady working at Pita corner was just amazing!!

- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice break - Had a great time staying at Mitsis Alila for a week. We are a family of two adults, a 5 year old and 2 year old. Staff are all very nice, friendly and helpful. Breakfast can be very slow and it's very hard to get anyone's attention, it's like they avoid eye contact. The food and drinks are of a high quality, we had a great meal at the Italian, especially the seafood linguine. My biggest issue was the fact that when we checked in our toilet was dirty. It took four phone calls to reception and three cleaning attempts to get it right. Although they were apologetic I don't really see how you can get it wrong for so long. I even took pictures to show exactly where it had been left filthy. Was extremely frustrating. Evening entertainment is brilliant. Lack of sunbeds around the pool and both pools are salt water and therefore very salty. Some lovely food bbq'd on the beach and fresh pizzas being made daily. Cocktails at all bars are delicious which was a pleasant surprise. Overall a lovely stay just a few issues that could be improved.

The rooms are really nice and kept clean every day with a free well stocked mini bar. The food and drinks are great quality and the a la carte restaurants are amazing. The only negatives are the longish waits at bars/ waiter drinks service and some areas of the lower floors look a little dated. We had a great stay and would recommend this hotel.

- James (8/5): Great Property- Restaurant Accessibility Issues - The property is beautiful, and the amenities are very nice. The location is fantastic, in close proximity to Rhodes, and the beaches are wonderful. However, two points to be aware of: 1) there is only one general pool for guests (in addition to the children's pool), and the other pools are not for use (display only) and 2) while there are multiple ala carte restaurants, it was nearly impossible to get reservations to any of the restaurants. We stayed for 5 nights, and were only able to secure a dinner reservation for one night, even after working with the concierge and the FBN (?) staff. While there are restaurants that do not require reservations, the menus are limited both in options and understandably quality.

- Doina (10/5): - Mitsis Alila in Rhodes is a wonderful place to stay. Their decor and ambiance is very beautiful. The pool area is stunning and beach and the sea at amazing. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, very accommodating. We had a great vacation and have beautiful memories about Greece and Greek people. Some feedback I shared with the staff was the food didn’t meet the standard of a 5 star resort. Also, it was a bit disappointing not to see any Greek shows and dancing. Greece has a beautiful culture, so wanted to see more of that at this resort. Otherwise our stay was great and we enjoyed every day we stayed there.
