Guest Reviews
- Angel Reinald (8/5): Place to rest - Its a quiet place... place is old... but well maintained
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Good location. Friendly staff no smoking room clean and fresh.
- Anthony (10/5): Salamat - We had a power outage and they were very accommodating
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Dining area had many humorous prints. The area was well secured and maintain by crew members.
- S (8/5): - Checking in was quick and easy. The room had a strong smell of smoke (previous guest?) when checking in but the staff were attentive and brought air freshener to mask the odour.
- Daniel (8/5): Room for Improvements - nice pies and fresh corned beef a must try menu. Overall not too bad but breakfast choice limited needs to improves.
- Daniel (8/5): Room for improvement - Staff very friendly but breakfast lmited choice at least more choices to choose if you stays for 5 nights the same menu throughtout
- Michael (4/5): - Lousy plumbing
- Verified traveler (6/5): NOT 3.5 Stars - I understand that hotel star ratings are overstated in many parts of the world, including the Philippines. But even by the most relaxed standards, this hotel is 3 stars at best. In mention this because if it had been more accurately rated, I would have researched it more thoroughly, and very possibly not stayed there. Other than the overrating, a marginal location and the fact they wanted to charge 50p for a 3rd pillow, it was okay.
- IRENITA (10/5): - Excellent friendly staff
- Darren (6/5): Good location - Only stay one night but had fun in Mango street. Breakfast was okay.
- Kaye (10/5): - My brother said they have a welcome drinks and its very nice
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice friendly hotel - brilliant staff...always happy to help...clean room ...good location
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice Hotel. Very close to the attractions. - The staff were very helpful and made me feel at home.
- szabolcs (6/5): Affordable hotel - Convenient location, friendly staff, you can get your room cleaned whenever you wish.I enjoyed my stay.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - find it cozy and the staff are nice, courteous and friendly
- Verified traveler (10/5): accommodating staff - They helped us be not penalizing us for being a day late due to our travel plans being delayed. This was due to the typhoon that hit at that time.
- Verified traveler (8/5): nice but maybe overpriced. - Had some problem with the WIFI in the room when first arrive but hotel responded quickly and seem fine the remaining days there.
The rooms are nice but smaller (more like a up scale pension house) but clean and comfortable. As most hotels in Cebu my opinion is it is over priced (not their fault more of the willingness of tourists willing to pay which has raised all rentals in the Philippines).
Would probably pick a different one if staying longer than a day or two since not far away are some with a bit larger rooms for not much more cost per night.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Nice place but cheap with the little things. - We were 4 people and stayed 4 nights. They provided only enough soap and shampoo for 2. We bought large bars of soap and a bottle of shampoo at the large grocery store right next door. The fridge would freeze my beer quickly and the control knob was broken. We asked for an extre blanket, were given a sheet and charged for that. Only 1 chair for the table outside on the little porch. Staff were very nice and helpful. Over all an OK place.
- ocean (6/5): Staying near Mango street - It is ok hotel, because it was very close to Mango street during Sinulog festival. There is no safe box, refrigerator or electric kettle or coffe maker in the room. Hair dryer was from 60s time. Free breakfast with room was consist of one egg, one slice of ham, one slice of tomato, one slice of cucumber and one slice of lettes. It was perhaps from child menu. Room was big and AC was working fine. We saved taxi ride to Mango street during Sinulog and no traffic, just walking distance.
- Randall (6/5): Descent place - Older property fairly well maintained and comfortable. Staff from security to front desk were very helpful and accommodating.
- Pete (8/5): Great place to stay - The staff always very friendly, and always there to help, the room was always kept clean, the WiFi was very good, the restaurant, always welcomed with a friendly smile. The breakfast was ample much better than a banquet type, although May not have been large, was quite good, and brewed coffee, I was given a mug, not some small cup, it showed they liked to look after the guest, a small thing, but something I appreciate
- dale (8/5): Sweet stay - Very accomodating staffs. Have checked in using trivago, and it all went smoothly. The place is just newly renovated i guess, because the room still smell like newly painted.
- Jay (8/5): Clean, friendly hotel - The location was close to the Ayala Shopping Mall but not to most tourist attractions or to the ferries. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were adequate for the price.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Your Home At the Heart of CEBU CITY - The hotel is situated at the heart of the city, accessible to most of the favorite tourist spots, religious centers and shopping centers.
- William (8/5): - Good location for Mango Avenue/Square and not so far from Ayala. Comfy hotel at fair price with decent restaurant. Friendly staff - recommended
- Verified traveler (8/5): Situated on a quiet street, near Mango Square - Nice, older hotel but clean. Staff is friendly and complimentary breakfast was good with brewed coffee, not instant.
- ANTONIO (2/5): Hotel didn't have water to take a shower - Nice staff. Very clean, but I got disappointed that I didnt have water to take a shower in the morning or flush the toilette. But for the price and location was a good deal.
- Irene (8/5): Good value for money. - There was no lift and the cheaper rooms were on the third floor. It was good that I did not have too much luggage.
However the free breakfast was good and staff ever friendly.
- PAUL (6/5): VERY DISAPOINTED. - Very disapointed ! My first stay was in May... we were upgraded this time... but 3 days ago we got superior room (n° 221)... Room is quite good, but no opening window... u havet to stay in the room curtains on because of people walking just near... no view at all... and kitchen smelling trough aircon...
First time i liked my stay, but my second attempt not good at all... won't go back there. At this price u can find much better...
- Verified traveler (8/5): Mahalo Beverly staff for the good service - I enjoyed my stay in Beverly botique with my family. it was very convenient for me to go to the mall because the place was located of everything. Just take the cab and only for a few mins already in my destination. The staff was so friendly and helpful on top of that very respectful!! Thank you having me there I have a good time spending in your hotel. Mahalo!!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Closed to mall and downtown - Nice staff very helpfull and friendly. Restaurant with good local food and service very nice
- KJ (8/5): Good place to stay for 1-2 days. - Everything is good, except my room doesn't have a frig.
- PAUL (8/5): Good value for money - Good value for price. Breakfast could give more choices, but very good service.
Good address.
- Verified traveler (6/5): CLOSE TO THE CITY CENTER - The hotel needs to upgrade the airconditioning system.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great stay, nice and pleasant staff, will recommend t all my friends and family.
- Klon123 (6/5): Fair location not far from big downtown center. - Just 15 minutes walk to Ayala Center (downtown city) Good transportation all around (taxis at any time) Many restaurants, Bars and night life around also. Quiet place to sleep.
- hazel (8/5): staff was very attentive - Nice hotel close to everywhere i go. Walking distance to some entertainment and department stores
- Len (8/5): Awesome Cebu Escapade and Easy access - I highgly recommend this Hotel to my friends and family, as it is very accessible and easy to find. Me and my husband had a very awesome and fun time while having our holiday in Cebu, we took a private car for 2 consecutive days for a city tour and Whale watching in Oslob plus canyooneering in Kawasan falls in a very affordable price. Thanks to our Driver Kuya Eugene for taking good care of us and also to all the staff of Beverly boutique Hotel.
- Ruth (6/5): good location for Sinulog Festival - Room is okay, only the wash room/shower has very limited space to move around. There is no lift so brace yourself to use the stairs. I called up the front desk to send someone to fix the blinds in the toilet but nobody came. Despite of that, I still find the staff in this hotel friendly.
- Patrick (8/5): - Good breadfast
- Rick (8/5): - Great location close to Mango bars, staff is very friendly. Only downside is the bed linens definitely weren't fresh
- Scott (8/5): The Beverley of Cebu - We enjoyed our stay at the Beverley. It is a nice place nothing flash or fancy, but we found the meal very nice. The rooms were adequate for our stay. The service was very good, the staff friendly and most helpful. Its location was right where we wanted to be.
- MARK (6/5): Nice stay - I had a good stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. Complementary breakfast with coffee was also served which was good.I would likely return to stay at this hotel in the future.
- Paul (10/5): Nice Hotel - Third stay at hotel, very enjoyable stay. Helpful staff, clean rooms, Wifi generally works well, close to Mango Square. Thanks.
- Paul (8/5): Good hotel, great staff - Second stay:
Pros: room more modern bathroom and TV
Cons: ants in the room, Wi-Fi in and out, staff did their best to fix it, so I can't complain too much.
Good value if on a budget
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great value - Beverly Boutique Business Hotel is a great value, the hotel is a short distance to the Ayala Center by taxi and in walking distance to the night club area. The aircon worked well, the room has a nice selection of cable channels, and the wifi was very reliable for the Philippines. The breakfast was decent if you keep in mind everything in the Philippines is smaller in proportions. Taxis are always easy to obtain. The staff is friendly and helpful, more so than in some places I have stayed. Highly recommended if you are on a budget or want value.
- doug (4/5): Not properly described - The hotels pictures and web description are inaccurate. Booked through Expedia and required to pay in full upfront. We were not happy with the hotel so moved to another. There was no refund of days paid but not used. Do not recommend this hotel.
- Dean (8/5): good value hotel - We stayed in Cebu for shopping that is why we looked for a hotel near Ayala and Mango Square. It is a nice hotel, nothing high end but worth a stay due to its good location and good service.
- PI Traveler (8/5): Great Location. - It was a good stay. Breakfast was not as good because of limited selection but the location is great to everything.
