Guest Reviews
- Jonathan (1/5): Unhappy with terms of booking not been met. - I booked for a week and due to a death in the family I was visiting, was only able to stay 3 nights. The booking said that I could cancel with three days prior notice. But at the desk they insisted that I would have had to cancell three days prior to the first night. I will be very hesitant to book a full week again. Three days notice, if offered, should apply for any part of the stay more than three days ahead. Unhappy JD
- Lilian (1/5): Horrible - Leaving. The amount of mold this property has was sickening and bad for my health. I didn’t even stay in the room for 10 minutes and left. I had to fight them for a refund and even after they said they would refund me, they still haven’t refunded me for one of the nights. The staff were also not nice. - Marsem (6/5): Pleasant -
- Vikneswaran (1/5): Bad -
- Verified traveler (6/5): One word: valuable - You cannot have a separated property on Singapore with this price. It's the only value of this property. But I recommend to use more money.
- Andriana (4/5): Disappointing -
- Jimena (1/5): Do not stay here - The only good thing about this place was the location It’s terribly gross. Everything is stained and dirty
- Chee (1/5): Bad - Filthy place. Go check Google Reviews for recent photos showing the sorry state of the hotel rooms. Take your money elsewhere.
- Lee (1/5): I don’t enjoy to stay in this hotel - I don’t like this hotel and I won’t return again I don’t like this hotel because I feel it is very dirty , the bedsheet and towel is not clean at
- Pui (3/5): You are compromising your civil dignity to stay here. - The staff seemed friendly, though I didn't make any complains as I was already tired and just needed a place to shower and rest. The state of the room, furniture felt like it was in disrepair, there were stains and mold, or remnants of mold all over the walls. Corners of the room and shower were covered in years of dust. The cabinet was literally crumbling apart, like furniture you would pick up off the road side. There were holes in every bedsheet, pillow case. I basically didn't want to touch any surface.
- Madison (5/5): Passable -
- Jh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (5/5): Passable -
- Guilermo (2/5): Very poor - The location of the hotel We booked there based.on the reviews. I rhink they were gake as the place is nothing at all like the reviews
It's really old and tired
Molds everywhere in the bathroom and bedroom's walls. Very small and really disgusting. Im pretry sure you can find better hotels for the same price. The staff not nice, sheets dirty with make up marks, a bugger on the walls.... really disgusting experience, and even more when you're travelling with kids. The toilet had a leakage that kept the bathroom floor wet, tv was not working and eventhough we were 2 adults and 2 kids they only provided one double bed an 1 single bed.. when the staff were asked about the beds, they said that the kids were meant to share the single bed.. tv was never fixed and they said maintainance would check the toilet after we left. Overall, this is the worst hotel i have ever stayed and booking.com should not even offer this kind of place.
- Conrado (10/5): Exceptional -
- Syue (8/5): Very good -
- Jacob (1/5): Disgusting windowless hovel. - Was vaguely near an MRT station. Absolutely vile, not sure what was deluxe about my room. Tiny little filthy room without a window. Bathroom was a wet room so everything is wet after a shower. All toiletries were empty and staff didn’t understand the difference between shampoo and body wash. Stains on the bed, floor filthy and v. Uncomfortable and creaky bed. If I hadn’t have been so tired upon arrival I would not have stayed here. All power goes off when you leave the room, this includes the fridge so all your food/drinks that you’ve dared to place in the filthy fridge will be warm by the time you’re back. AVOID.
- Sittie (1/5): Never again to stay that hotel ..dirty blanket and AC so bud all is dirty Also toilet not clean - None so bud …dirty room None dirty all and bud smell
- Claire (3/5): Poor - Convenient location Dirty room and situation, the remote control was sticky, so was small pathetic table infront of the bed.
Bed was uncomfortable, could feel the springs, could see mouldy wallpapers very obviously.
Room gave the icks for the amount paid -- would not have stayed if not for last minute arrangements.
- Vincent (5/5): Ok for a very short stay👌 - Small just enough for one. Ok just to rest n sleep for a night or two👌ok for the price in Singapore Size
- Kok (10/5): Exceptional -
- Essick (9/5): Overall, I think Snow Hotel has to be one of the best values you can get in Singapore! - Great value for the money, especially if you're traveling alone. Check-in took just a couple seconds. 2 free water bottles per day. Staff is friendly, I especially liked the Indian girl who works there, she was very nice! : ) Good location, easy to walk to downtown line MRT (Bendemeer) and other lines (Lavender), many restaurants/7-11 is near. Ai cafe around the corner on Horne road has good coffee : ) Room was kinda small ( but so is the price : ) ) the bathroom was a bit cramped, not a lot of room to take a shower, but its manageable. If you are plus-sized it may be difficult.
- Blaine (10/5): Exceptional - They are friendly. The place looks exactly like the pictures. None
- Adaikkalaraj (4/5): Disappointing -
- Jon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thaninrat (8/5): Very good -
- Nguyễn (7/5): Nice and friendly staff ❤️ - Clean bathroom and full amenities Too small
- Jacquilene (10/5): Exceptional - Staff were all very friendly. We checked in at 10pm and we were able to get in after paying as our rooms were already ready. Location was very convenient as well. Will go back here for next time. Thank you!
- Nhi (7/5): Good -
- Ahmed (9/5): Superb -
- Rachel (7/5): A good hotel to stay - The neighborhood, it's very accessible to the MRT, food hubs, grocery store and near Mustafa Center (walking distance)
The room has its own comfort room which is very important to me.
They have a lift so it's not a problem if you have big luggages. They don't clean up the rooms not unless you request. The hallways are not kept clean too☹️
- Godwin (6/5): The location is strategic, but my room is too small and uncomfortable. - The location is good. The room is too small, and I found roaches in the room.
- Etna (7/5): Good - The location near MRT lavender, its easy to find food We travel during high peak and high demand so the price lil bit expensive
- Chao-hen (8/5): Very good -
- Maria (9/5): Superb -
- Toni (8/5): Very good - The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was small but had everything you needed. We really loved our stay here. Walking distance to Metro and grocery store. Great stay!
- Farin (5/5): Passable -
- Banagan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ira (8/5): Very good -
- Kiran (7/5): Good -
- Charles (3/5): Poor - Good location. Friendly receptionist. The rooms were extremely small and had no storage space for travel baggage etc.
- Enrico (6/5): Pleasant -
- Grecious (5/5): Passable -
- Mirjana (6/5): It is better than the capsule, but still super small and hard to stay. - The receptionist was kind. The room is 6 m2. It is really hard to stay there.
- Je4nte3 (7/5): Good -
- Brendan (2/5): If all you need is to shower and sleep, or something else starting with s - it's fine - I had my own bathroom which is better than my friend who stayed in a capsule hotel, but the "room" part of the word "bathroom" is generous.
Water provided. Vending machine just out the front of the hotel with cold drinks, which isn't really a plus for the hotel, but it was at least convenient..
Can you tell I am struggling on this section. Here we fam: Somehow my room was smaller than every single photo on this website. There was enough room to wheel my suitcase in the door, and around the corner of the bed, but literally it was a suitcase width of space between the bed and wall.
More than once I would walk in or out with a bag and the front desk staff would ask me if I was checking in or out - no, I just had a lot of stuff to transport and my bag was the best way.
They would come by freakishly early to refresh rooms, so there were mornings where I was still in the room and my room simply got missed - meaning no fresh towels etc. With no towel rack to hang the towels to dry, this meant I had damp towels the next day to attempt to dry myself on.
But then it sounded like they were coming thru around midnight also? That brings us to the next point. Bring earplugs! Walls are not the thickest on the planet.
Only power outlet was in the corner opposite the door, so to be able to charge my phone and still reach it for my alarms, I ended up sleeping the opposite way on the bed.
The walls were dirty, there was someone else's dental picks left in the dresser, there was a white powder on the floor near the door which I think might have been insect repellant but it didn't move the whole time I was there so zero cleaning must've been done aside from making the bed and supplying towels on the half the days they actually did that.
They offer bookings for short periods during the day which might give you some indication of the type of clientele that may make use of the facilities. Either you sleep there between flights so you're not there for even a full 24 hours, or you have a friend accompany you there for an appointment where the only amenities you need are a bed and a sense of adventure.
- Philip (7/5): Good - Friendly staff. Handy location. 24 hours reception. Good value for money. Bar Fridge and shower exhaust fan not working.
- Sam (2/5): Disappointment - Location Cleanliness - buds cockroach and have to request for toilet papers towels etc ( should not have to request) customer service is bad . Especially the day time elderly male receptionist
- Ken (6/5): - Staff is good!!
- Yalamanchili (5/5): Overall, it is ok with reasonable room charge. But the billing is not proper. No clearning in 5days - Receipt for payment is not proper. Hotel gives a bill on a white paper without name of the hotel. No Invoice and GST information on the receipt. The billing and room size without a window.
- Francis (7/5): Good location - Location. It is near the station and convenience stores. It is also near fast food chains and night markets. The single room. comfortable but the space is small.
- P68097022 (6/5): I will not come back there. - Near halal restaurant and bus stops. The cost of washing blankets, towels, pillowcases, etc. is charged to guests (not included in the booking.com price list). I stayed for 6 days and my room is not cleaned a single day anymore. They only provided water drinking in the first day, next days they didn't provide it.
- Panomtanasak (7/5): Good -
- Kobkan (1/5): Bad - No good location dirty Bad service
- Wk (8/5): Good location, for someone traveling on a budget. - The location is near MRT, about 10min, Lavender station is just a few stop to downtown area. This is a small hotel, only have basic facilities.
- Anne (7/5): Good - Good one night stay. Family room was really small but clean and aircondition did work. We luckily had only hand luggage as there is no space for large suitcaes. We arrived in the middle of the night and front deck person was really nice and welcoming. Easy check in /out. Good eateries jus on the cornes. Good public transport nearby. Small room, no window, some stuff/boxes on the corridor. No luggage room but we were able to leave our luggage to the lobby for the day before heading back to the airport.
- Jedson (5/5): Decent budget stay - Convenient location Charged extra $10 from booking rate mentioned and it was told commission for booking via booking.con
- Decelyn (8/5): Very good - The hotel is lovely
- Josephine (8/5): Value for money. Great location. - Value for money considering the great location which is central. Accessible to both train and bus stations, food courts, shopping malls and bars to unwind. The rooms are quite small but comfortable for Asian people.
The Staff were all so kind and helpful. Hit a few snags (e.g. aircon breakdown) but they promptly took action and had us stay in another room for the night till it was fully repaired. I extended my stay for another 2 weeks and they considered that and found me a room. They MUST improve on the cleanliness part. I am not saying it's all dirty, just needs to invest nore on cleaning aids such as a vacuum cleaner. They should also stop using torn towels. The cleaners were also kind, hardworking and accommodating to whatever you need.
- Pardeep (9/5): Superb staff support. - Breakfast not included. Location was quite good. I would say it was pleasant experience. Not much to complain.
- Panut (3/5): Poor - Nothing Facility, room, size
- Kobkan (1/5): Bad - Bad Bad
- Rodney (8/5): Good value - Affordable, handy to public transport and plenty of dining options, friendly hosts.
- Jason (9/5): Good low-frills hotel if you're on a tight budget - Good location in a quiet and quaint area, plenty of transport links nearby. Clean linens and towels and bottled water provided daily. Front desk attendants were polite and friendly.
Good value for money if you want a low-frills hotel room near the fun places in Singapore. Narrow corridors can give you a sense of claustrophobia. Some of the wallpaper and decorative bits may look like repairs are needed.
- Artemis (3/5): Poor - Friendly staff and daily concern about the cleanliness of the room, making sure you had enough water, and a taxi when you needed it, including advise on street traffic. The room was tiny, practically a box, and (worse of all) it had no window. The A/C was above the bed and it was uncomfortable to sleep with it on but impossible to stay a minute in there without it on. It would get very stuffy in there.
- Robert (5/5): A Place to Sleep - The room was quiet Smaller than expected. Could have been cleaned more frequently. Would have liked a desk to sit, even if on the bed.
- Ichigo (8/5): Very good 👍 - I like the bed, very comfy None
- Ichigo (8/5): Very good 👍 - Like the room None
- Lilik (6/5): Pleasant -
- Yitao (5/5): Passable -
- Justine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Antonia (3/5): Felt like I was in a prison cell but if you just need somewhere to sleep it's okay for a night - Location was good I did feel like I was in a prison cell. No window, room so small the bed goes half way across the 'bathroom' door. Luke warm shower. Shower over the toilet.
- Amal (10/5): Exceptional - Receptionists was very nice Non
- Tan (5/5): Passable -
- Andrew (3/5): Poor -
- Ravindran A (8/5): - Nice helpful staff but noisy air con
- Ramakrishnan (6/5): Pleasant - Good location, nearby nice restaurants Room looks too small
- Maria (7/5): Good -
- Erikperson (7/5): The hotel helped me to get a room earlier if I accepted a lower standard, and I did - Friendly staff and a nice area with all service and close to the metro (but difficult to find) Singapore is flooded with tourists (from China) and room prices are high. After a 12 hours flight, I needed a room early in the morning, for shower, unpacking and some rest, and the hotel helped me to fix a room to a reasonable surcharge, but the room was probably not the one I would have got if I arrived the correct time. So it would be unfair to blame the hotel, it was up to me.
- Faith (6/5): Pleasant - located next to 24hr food center
close to mrt and bus stops
friendly staff room is too small
not cleaned for about 6 nights stay
no bath soap soap in bathroom
- Isabel (7/5): good location, friendly staff, small but clean room - very friendly staff, good location, close to sights, clean, good athmosphere the airconditioner was a little bit loud and the room is quite small
- Jagdish (5/5): Passable -
- Andrew (1/5): Bad - The roof was so dirty and the room was so small. The room I selected based on the pictures were not the room I got.
- Safi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hansel (7/5): Just okay. Not much for the value for money for the rooms they offered. - Staff were very helpful about your any concerns. Small rooms. Too small even for 2 persons. No windows and poor lighting.
- Sarosh (5/5): Passable -
- Hasan (1/5): Room is super bad and no space and price so high - Locations is good
- Matilda (2/5): it was dirty and disgusting, toilet was too disgusting to shower in. - i didn’t like anything the ceiling and walls were covered in mould,
table had a layer of grime on it, floor was extremely dirty, and staff were unfazed when this was brought up to them which shows they knew of the condition of the room but still gave it to my friends and i.
- Aminul (7/5): Good -
- Jan (10/5): Very accommodating staff and friendly. - location electric outlet
- Li (4/5): Disappointing -
- Miwa (5/5): thinking - There is toilet paper, tissue and water bottle very narrow, but the suitcase was full opened
- Verified traveler (2/5): Does Expedia know? - Couldn't believe the stay. Lack of concern. Even paid for what called "superior" so could get a window (you will not otherwise).
I don't know if lack of regard, but next room said was discusting as well.
No one to care (busy watching stock exchange . Could invest in room conditions!)
Never again.
But what you expect for 60usd /night? Not to get sick? Just give them money. Be glad.
- Ryan (4/5): - The staff is not very responsive to my complaints. My room had an ant problem and many flies. Even when I left a food item in the refrigerator the ants got to it. After I complained about the ants they gave me a spray can for me to handle the problem myself. There are residents in the property and the kids were yelling and screaming around 1am at night. The refrigerator was unplugged when I first arrived and not functioning. The room only had one outlet behind the head of the bed. They did not change the bedsheets or service the room once in my 5 day stay unless I asked them to. The description listed a desk but I saw no desk whatsoever which I needed. It feels like a poorly run mom and pop property and I would not recommend or repeat again. It was at a discounted price but for the size and condition of the room, it wasn't worth it at all.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Don’t recommend. - We just flew in from Bali and needed to stay in Singapore for the night. So we chose this place as it was close to the hotel. There was over 7 spotted roaches my partner woke up with over 9 different bites from something on her arms and legs. If I could get a refund I would. Room is super small and the shower is connected to the toilet area.
- SOCHEAT (8/5): - small room and a little expensive
with the taxes added on.
Need to walk a little bid to get buses and Mrt.
hot water and AC is great, quiet room.
- Vincent (6/5): - It's a 2 Star hotel however I've never had such a small single room before.
I tried to alter my arrival date by one day and get a refund within the stated timeframe on Expedia but was refused despite it saying a full refund was available at time of booking. The hotel advised me, when I finally check-in a day later, that their policy did allow refunds. The hotel policy is opaque at best and Expedia were no help whatsoever when I challenged them on this. The helpdesk even lied to me about not being able to contact the hotel as they said the hotel had blocked the helpdesk - really! They then proceeded to phone them - it was farcial! They just wanted to get rid of me.
Buyer beware of both this hotel and Expedia
- Patrick (10/5): - I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Snow. The staff was warm and accommodating and although the unit was small and barebones, it was still cozy enough for my wife and I during our week stay in Singapore. I recommend anyone who desires a clean and inexpensive hotel in a multicultural town in Singapore to pay Hotel Snow a visit.
- Hai An (4/5): - noise and un comfort
- Joanne (2/5): - The room is very run down and the walls are very dirty. The room has a mouthy smell too. The TV isn’t working but glad that staff has helped make it work.
