- n (6/5): - If you are looking for a Inn that gives you free ear plugs and no smoke alarm on the cieling look no further then the Cherry Tree Inn. If you want a place where two unit, one air conditioner, a tv a micro wave a firdge and internet and tv box all plugged into on 15amp circuit where the power goes out if you dare use the tv, micro wave and, ac at the same moment and have no smoke alarm ypu are gonna love this place. Imagine having the ear plugs in and the smoke alarm needs to sound but isnt there to sound and the potential of fire is good with the current electrical settup. I am a manager at a series of hotels here in niagara falls. I wont be staying at the cherry tree inn again. It was neat, right upto the safety issues. The man who seemed to maintain the place was pleasant i spoke with him.in the drive way beside my unit. He seemed to have his hands tied. Cute place tho on thr hill noce layout.

- Dayne (4/5): - This is a property to avoid. Although the room was large, clean and bed and bedding were adequate, there was not much else to enjoy. The room faced a highway and to 'help' with the noise, earplugs were sitting on the night table. This was the first property without a smoke detector as there was only a ring holder on the ceiling. There are better places to consider.
- Patty (10/5): - My family and I loved our stay here. Check-in and check-out was easy. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our room was very clean, cozy and it had everything we needed. Our room (G4) had two big windows which was so nice. We, especially our kids, were also pleasantly surprised to see a lot of fruit-bearing plants around the inn (grapes outside our window, apple trees, blackberry shrubs, etc.) Will definitely come back here on our next trip to Vancouver Island.

We arrived at 4:30pm and still had to wait for them to clean our room. The room it’s self was clean but the walls of the building were paper thin and everything was very very basic. I’ve stayed at many motels before while on road trips and this was was just ok.

My room was very large with mini kitchen which would be great for people staying a few days. The property is peaceful with a shared outdoor seating area for each building so you can eat outside or enjoy the sun. I would stay here again.

- Douglas (10/5): Great value - The Cherry Tree Inn is an economical Inn just outside of Victoria. Reasonably priced, excellent stay, safe parking and quiet. I will stay here again.

- Chauntelle (6/5): - I booked a room with two beds and a bathtub. I was given keys to a room with one bed and a shower for the same price. The walls are thin and I heard at least 3 other people snoring, groaning, coughing throughout the night. I am grateful for the sweet staff, helpful and kind. Not worth the price though.
- Houman (10/5): Great experience - The place is big enough to fit three whole families. We enjoyed the space comparing to other options available. There was a full kitchen available too! Parking space was generous for three SUVs too.

Large windows with ratty blinds barely covering them make for a lack of privacy and any feeling of security. This place is cheap but you get what you pay for. Personally, I would only stay there again if there was no other option.

Not sure the coffee maker is working properly. (I was in G2.) Nice clean bedding, comfortable bed. A bit of highway noise but I got used to it pretty quickly. Very convenient to Sidney and the ferries as well as Victoria.

- Pamela (4/5): - The place was big the rooms were roomy there were plenty of space for my daughters family of six of myself the beds were new and comfortable. but the place itself was little older the bathroom out dated. The kitchen was not equipped with cooking trays for the oven we were looking to pay a little extra for the room so we could have the convenience of being able to cook for our large group but that was not possible as it was so hot there was no air conditioning and with all the windows open it was very noisy. We put the sign up daily to have the room cleaned at least stuff wipe down bathroom tidied up new towels and the garbage taken away but this did not happen not even one day even though we asked several times to have this done we finally had to just ask for a garbage bag and we’re told to leave it outside the door and they will take it away. I would not recommend this place for a family that is looking to cut costs on a very expensive trip as it was not equipped properly. There is a lot more I could say about it but none of it is good I truly believe this could be a great place to stay if they just put some time and effort to Cleaning painting and repairing some of the things in the rooms.

The outside awning hangs way too low— I hit my head twice and so did our pizza deliverer. Overflowing trash in the pick-up area. No hot water for shower at 9:30 AM.

- RUTH (4/5): - It was noisy. The room was too small. I heard the entire night a man on the phone loud. There was no lotion to use and tissue was 3 ply and gone. I went out to ask clerk on duty for lotion and tissue, clerk was outside on the phone. I waited few minutes and went back to my room. Clerk didn't knock or asked what i may need or lacking in room. Says, 8am clerk or office opens but not open the following day we supposed to check out. There was a note on door to check your names call this number.

Baseboard Heater in bedroom was broken into pieces and so the plastic cover at the light switch - items not too expensive to fix. the fridge was quite noisy and so were the neighbors through the thin walls. Only one Towel provided for a three night stay, when asked to exchange them and empty the tiny trash can the third day, i was told thy would get right to it and could even change t the bed sheets by 3 PM.on our return at 5pm nothing was done due to "staffing issues", so we changed towels and trash at the desk ourselves. overall not too pricey, and close to the event we attended, so acceptable ....but not satisfactory.. the Queen size bed also seemed to be smaller than Queens in other places ...but that could have been a perception due to the overall small room .... didn't measure it.

It would have been better if they had a deadbolt or chain lock so our small kids cannot get out of the room in the middle of the night so that's something the management can consider. Otherwise, it was a good stay.

Parking was a little bit of a challenge and it was a little tight but doable. Over all it was close to Victoria and off the hwy but it was quite. Would recommend if you are in the visiting the city.

My friend commented " this is where hookers get murdered". Run! Don't stay here.... ever! We asked for a refund and found a different place to stay.

- Victoria (6/5): - Progressively worse each visit. Floors are always dirty yet "swept". Beds so small in cheapest room, children would be in danger of falling out. Get a King bed in there easily. No reason to have tiny sized bed. Had to move bedstand & push bed together so I wouldn't fall out.seriously. Shower so small, if my partner were there, he would never fit in & possible breakage would occur. Tiny. I could barely turn around in shower & I'm average size. Paper thin walls. Injecting walls is possible now to sound proof.look into it. Neighbor was a lawyer. I heard every word & cough. I'm sure he didn't appreciate the lack of privacy. Heard him on the phone talking financials. They got up at 330am to do who knows, n so did I. No choice. Just ridiculous. No bathtub on top of it. Every other room has a tub. Only nice thing was the birds outside the window. Disappointing otherwise. Done. And done.

We said single he then found us a room for cheaper saved us 30$ and it was very comfy had a great sleep it was in a great location very quite just made my visit to the island perfect
