Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Sehr schönes Zimmer mit allem, was man benötigt. Alles sehr sauber. Die Gastgeberin, eine ältere Dame, war sehr freundlich. Tolles und umfangreiches Frühstück.
- Gary (10/5): Clean, comfortable, great welcome and breakfast! - Great welcome from the Owner. Convenient location outside Clifden. Comfortable room, lovely breakfast - couldn't fault it. Thank you.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very clean and tidy, lovely hostess and amazing views
- Thomas (10/5): - Très propre, accueillant.
Idéal pour une escale
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Ein sehr schönes B&B, liebe Gastgeber, tolle Zimmer und ein super Frühstück. Sehr zu empfehlen.
- Liz (8/5): Good location & helpful staff - We appreciated being close to the beach and close to the city centre and parking station.
- Irina (10/5): Beautiful setting - This B&B is located just outside of Clifden close to some of the most beautiful castles and gorgeous Connemara National Park. The hostess is very charming and gives you an overview of things to do. We loved a variety of choices for our breakfast and breathtaking views of the mountains outside the picture windows of the breakfast room. The room was very clean and had all the necessary amenities for a single traveler or a family. We would highly recommend this B&B for everyone who wants to experience true Irish living!
- Dawn (10/5): Fab B&B - We booked Atlantic View at short notice as our original B&B cancelled our booking. We are so glad we stayed here - hostesses were very friendly, the room was comfortable and breakfast was amazing.
- Peter (10/5): Relaxing comfortable stay - Lovely stay in a charming B&B. Very friendly and helpful, lovely breakfast and we were lucky to have a family room for the two of us. Only improvement would be a new kettle in the room. Would definitely stay again.
- Verified traveler (2/5): No one was there to check us in - The check in time was specified as between 4-6. We arrived at 415 and No one was there. We went in (building was unlocked and totally unsupervised) and called out but no one answered. Tried calling the number provided multiple times but the number didn't register. Waited in our car for another 15 minutes, and when still no one had arrived we went to a hotel a couple towns over.
Cant say much about the hotels amenities or rooms as we didn't get the chance to even see them.
- Petra (2/5): Greedy, horrible owner!! We were used!! - I have booked a family room and after arrival, Margaret stood in the main door and told me that the family room is closed off and that we need to get a twin and an additional double room and pay extra €50. She let us in only after agreeing with this deal. We didn't have much of a choice as it was getting dark and we were in the middle of nowhere...She told us that we had to pay cash only as the Visa card machine costs her too much money and that she has given in back to the bank so had to go out at night to find an ATM. In the morning I have told her that it was not fair what she has done and that her advertisement was misleading, she started shouting at me that I didn't complain yesterday when I arrived and that she is closed for the season and in general was just intense and really mean. Very anti Irish experience I must say, having lived in Ireland for over 15 years. It was sad as my Mum was visiting and was looking for a nice relaxing time in the west of Ireland. We were so happy to be out of there in the morning with a terrible feeling after dealing with someone like this...
- Ben (8/5): - Great place, but a bit out of town. No pavement or streetlights so take a torch if you are walking.
- Elana (10/5): highly recommended - The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable, the location is right off the main road and less than 5 minutes drive to Clifden center with all the restaurants and pubs, the breakfast was delicious. Most importantly, the owners were wonderful, welcoming and super helpful. They even helped me troubleshoot problems with my cellphone and book the accommodation for the next night. I highly recommend!
- Jeffrey (10/5): Perfect - We had a wonderful stay! Our hosts were great, and very accommodating. We look forward to staying with them again on our next time in Clifden.
- Diane (10/5): Quiet, comfortable aqnd welcoming - Margaret was a great host providing genuine Irish hospitality, and a great breakfast.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very Clean Comfortable B&B - This B&B was VERY clean, nicely furnished, quiet, and had nice landscaping outside. The owner was very accomodating and the breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This B&B was a lovely surprise. It had views out over the bay and the Atlantic. There was plenty of parking and the host and her daughter were so friendly and relaxed. Our room was large and everything you could need was there. It is clear that the host has gone to considerable effort to make sure that she had the range of services available to meet the needs of a range of people who may be visiting.
- Birdie (8/5): Clifden - Very close to sky loop road which has beautiful views.
- Allen (8/5): - Stayed one nite. Margaret told us about the area attractions and history. Very pleasant and helpful
