Guest Reviews
- Scace (8/5): - Had layover of 7 hours. Was able to get some sleep and a shower. Super close to hotel. No frills. Towel and a small soap. But aircon worked and plenty of hot water. Served its purpose to crash for few hours !!
- Alan (2/5): - Bad
- Anthony (2/5): - people who operate international hotels especially those close to the airport MUST understand three things
1. the most important element of the transaction is the customer.
2. The customer is travelling therefore under severe stress.
3. most customers will be people who do not speak Spanish. I was only really going to be at that place for 1.5 days but since I did not want to be floating around Tocumen for 7 hours, after vacating the room at 12 PM, I paid for 2 days. the hotel is located in a very shady area, and there are NO amenities on the premises food, alcoholic beverages, not even coffee. the meager supply of cool drinks they had were extremely limited, so whatever you need you would have to order it from outside and since you don't speak Spanish, good luck to you. except for this one man on the morning shift none of the other people on any shift spoke English. the room they gave me had no refrigerator, it had only one poor light in the entire room and the TV was not working in that room when I asked the misfit manager about it, all he told me is that it was not working, but later that evening meeting an American from Oregon who went out to dinner and a drink with me, his room had TV. and the TV in the lobby was working.
i am an investor seeking to invest US$300,000 in Panama and this really bad experience happily was not in keeping with what I found elsewhere in Panama, if it were, I would not invest a cent in that country.
- Cecily (6/5): - Perfect for a quick overnight before a flight out of PTY or a land and rest location.
- Jolene (6/5): - To enter the property there is a large gate that my driver had to bang on and honk to get the attention of staff who seemed preoccupied. It was convenient for one quick overnight stay of approx 6 hours waiting for a flight
- Glendolyn (8/5): - Staff were very nice and assisted my mom with everything that she needed while staying there.
- Gerry Onel Martinez (8/5): - I really like the airport drop off
- Ricardo Miguel (10/5): - Todo sin problemas muy amables Nos trajeron al aeropuerto tienen servio de traslado gratis
- Andrew (10/5): - I always stay here at this hotel. Its not 5 star but its convenient affordable and close to the airport. The staff are so sweet especially the beautiful lady with the green eyes at the front desk. She always ensures that im comfortable and I understand whats being said in Spanish. The rooms and bathrooms are really nice but if you look from the outside you would have no idea. The wifi works perfectly and the bathroom are built like modern homes. The only suggestion I would give the property manager is to clean the outside of the compound and paint because closed minded people would turn away. Other than that, I will be back very soon. I always stop at this place when visiting panama even if its for a day because I travel for work.
- Gavin (8/5): - stay was good overall.
- ROXANNE (8/5): - It is very near the airport and they get you there on time for your flight
- Sharon (10/5): - Great
- Jenicia Ayanna (8/5): - I liked that it was close to the airport
- Julian (8/5): - It was very close to the airport and had t
- Andres (6/5): - El hotel es basico le falto mas limpieza
- JOHN (4/5): - The one good thing about the property is it very close to the airport. They promise a shuttle but it only goes three times a night so we were not able to use the shuttle as promised we had to pay a taxi on the side also no breakfast about $65 for a very mediocre room.
- Preligen (6/5): - It’s ok. It’s good if you just need the basics, bed, shower, and toilet bowl.
- Milagros (2/5): - Too
- vadim (8/5): - Everything was fine
- Nicholas (6/5): - It cool
- Julio (6/5): - Habitación acogedora para los que hacen escala por Panamá, no me gustó que la televisión no estaba disponible.
- Greg (6/5): - Better towels for your feet and body and sheets too..
- nduka (8/5): - It's actually good for the price. It's generally clean, located near the airport, and there is a shuttle bus that leaves at set times. I checked in at midnight, and this was not a problem. Leven, +507 6272-3484 took me on tour of panama canal and downtown at night. It was mind blowing. I got so much down given that i was in Panama from 10 pm to 10 am. Overall a very good/happy stay.
- Iglen (4/5): - The room smelt terrible
- Dustin (6/5): - I got the upgraded full bed room. First off the bed frame was frame had a huge hole in the side. After getting settled in I saw a lizard run across the floor. Noticed several human hairs on the sheets. This place is really close to the airport and I mean the runway. Might as well be parked on the runway. You could hear planes take off as if the jet engines are pointed directly at the windows. I got little sleep.
- Luis (4/5): It is Ok for a few hours - This property is located very close from the airport, it is ok if you are going to stay for a few hours waiting for a connection flight, however, the property is in very bad condition.
They offer free shuttle service to the airport.
- Karen Mae (10/5): - Excellent service
- Usha Dianne (10/5): - It's nice for the price
- Kimberly (6/5): - This was my first hostel stay. I know they are meant to be an affordable option-and it was. My bed and linens were clean and comfortable and great AC. My shower had a couple of inches of standing water in the basin (but was hot) and my toilet leaked from the handle all over the bathroom floor. Overall, it was fine for my 11.5 hour layover.
- MARIA EUGENIA (8/5): Estadía rápida y buena - Fue buena la estadía por el corto que estuve.
- JERMAINE (10/5): - Everything was beautiful and I will only use this hotel in the near future
- adrian (8/5): - This property is perfect as a layover rest stop for passengers at PTY Panama Tocumen airport. The room and the amenities are as basic as it gets. They sell water and other drinks by the lobby. Even though it’s walkable, it’s best to get an uber or taxi from the airport to get here. The best part is that from the hotel, they have a free airport shuttle that leaves at 5 am, 8 am, and 1 pm. 🕐
- Gerald (8/5): - The price is attractive and the proximity to the airport (PTY) is great.
- Gian (10/5): - You pay what you get, its ok
- Crystalene (6/5): - The property was plain. But the girl at the front desk was very helpful.
- Ian D (6/5): - I was not impress with the fact that the AC did not work at first. I had to go downstairs 3x to seek help. Also the TV did not work at all, i was told by the staff at the front desk. Upon leaving the next morning i saw a mice run down the stairs. I think the staff could have showed more hospitality.
- Theresa (8/5): - While the property was next to the airport & you could hear planes taking off, it wasn't all that disturbing. Reservations included breakfast (maybe only coffee & toast) but this was not the case (there was a seating area & refrigerated case with sodas, juice & water and a few snacks for sale, food wasn't being served [although menu @ front desk indicated 3 cooked items] as i believe it indicated it was closed for remodeling/construction. The desk staff did store my food in their fridge for a couple of hours & i asked if they had a microwave to heat it, which they did for me. They had TVs in the rooms but i was not able to get a connection to use it. Room was small but comfortable with air-conditioning. It took a while to get hot water in the shower, maybe because it was in the back of the building & further from the water heater...who knows? Convenient (10 min) for early flight to the airport (letting them know me intent to use this the nite before) by their free shuttle @5am (only others posted on front desk @8am & 1pm)
- Dominique (4/5): Mediocre - It was alienating and no one could speak English. They showed no interest. The pool was in the parking lot
- Carlos (6/5): - Despite cleanliness was ok, there was a plague of cockroaches. Additionally there were several issues about infrastructures conditions.
Staff were friendly.
- Bhavesh (10/5): - Yes
- Cynthia (4/5): - Close to airport; however, would never book again
- Ryan (8/5): - Great for a few night stay on a layover. Clean room, hot shower, cold air conditioning.
- Felix (4/5): - We stayed because we had a 12 Hour layover. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower had strong water pressure, but front desk person rude.
- Sharon (6/5): - I like the proximity to the airport and it felt safe. The receptionist was unpleasant, doesn't smile, she looked upset and was not warm and accommodating. No clothes iron. There should be a clothes iron. Otherwise it was alright.
- Michael (8/5): Good for overnight stay close to airport. - Good enough for overnight stay close to airport. Spacious room but basic. Unfortunately we did not have any hot water and the lady at the front desk was not able to assist us. No places to eat or get snack nearby but we came late and left early, you can get some drinks at the front desk. We did not have much luggage and we walked across to the airport in the morning.
- MARTIZIA (6/5): - Just a place to stay for 1 night maximum
Sleep and go
Nothing fancy, just a bed, shower, AC and a TV.
- Demar (6/5): - The staffs at the property 💯
- Paul (2/5): - Need renovated
- Caridad (8/5): - I would definitely stay at this hotel. Mainly because of the service.
- Jennifer (2/5): - Big roaches
- giovanni (6/5): - It got the job done for the price, for an overnight layover close to the airport. That is if you are just looking for a place to crash for one night. Staff were helpful and courteous which is probably the property's best asset.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Quick Stay - As a layover and a quick rest place it’s good
- Amy (10/5): - My First room didn’t have AC but they quickly moved me to one that worked! Friendly staff. Not bad and very close to the airport. Honestly I would recommend just walking to and from the airport because the traffic is terrible around there. You’ll have to walk through the bus terminal to get there but if you just keep going you’ll find your way. I took a taxi because of the rain and it was $10. Rooms weren’t fancy or anything but it had all I needed. I would stay here again if I end up back here in Panama.
- GLOBAL (10/5): - Jfkfkfkfkgkfnfn
- Robert (6/5): - Very basic property with no amenities
- Audry (10/5): - I would recommend it to anyone
Clean nice quite and quick to airport ♥️
- Judith (8/5): Quick one night stay - Quick overnight stay to catch a 7 20 a.m flight. Beds need better linen as the mattress cover sheet wasn’t able to stay on the mattress. The bed sheet was too small. Air conditioning was adequate. I found a cockroach in my room and I stomped on it.
- marva (4/5): - It's convenient location for overnight stay for layovers and the commentary ride to airport. The other amenities were removed, No more pickup from airport ,no breakfast and no television in room yet there's a room rate increased.
- Sanica (8/5): - The TVs don’t work.
- Sueann (6/5): - This motel is perfect for a short stay, the locals will tell you that the motel is unsafe but that’s not true the area doesn’t have much to do but I didn’t feel unsafe, we had a delay and just needed a bed for the night, it was close to the airport and affordable which was perfect 👍
- Ryan (8/5): - For the price, the hotel is nice with great service, especially the taxi driver!
- Ray (2/5): - It looks like a prison with just a bed
- Aminta (8/5): - It is a good place for a short time, clean, which is what I wanted, I recommend it, it is very close to the airport.
- Manuel (4/5): - Location unsafe. Transfer to airport not on time. No dinning availability. Coordinated food order with recepcionist at the front desk, order never submitted.
Hotel should never be listed with Expedia. Not up to standards.
- Narayanan (10/5): - Nice, clean place. TV doesn't seem to work but I was too busy to watch. No English speaking staff...Google translate was helpful. There is a bar and a few restaurant kiosks with an open, 2-level seated area and stage for live performances - would be a great place to hang out on Fridays and Saturdays...however, I am on my way out of Panama.
- JORGE (10/5): - Horrible property conditions, customer service. Don’t have any table to put things. You have to put everything in the floor. That place is not a good place to stay
- Franklyn (10/5): - close to the airport 12min walking.... nice
- Franklyn (10/5): - Nice
- Raul (4/5): - Needs improvement
- Hasani (8/5): - N/A. Just a place to lay over.
- Josefa (8/5): - It's not the best place for a single person.
- Robert (2/5): - I didn’t like anything about the property. It was terrible. The shower stall was missing a piece of glass. So when you showered, water would splatter out to the bathroom floor. The pool was non useable due to such a low water level. And a nearby dog who was locked outside for the night at their house, barked off and on the whole night.
- Brude (10/5): - Cool place near the airport with airport transportation. That made plans
- Carlos (2/5): - The hotel is different from the photos. The hotel conditions are poor
- Gema (4/5): - El hotel parece descuidado , las habitaciones viejas y llenas de hormigas , había TV pero nos dijeron de entrada que no habia señal .
- Delibes (8/5): - Safe and non noisy
- antonio (6/5): - Close to the airport, shuttle included.
- christian (10/5): - Not extensive. English will be good AT the reception
- Maria (10/5): - Great for staying for a short period of time, and convenient nearby the airport
- Randy (10/5): - No problem with check in
- Ana (6/5): - It is very convenient for one night stay
You can order food and it is delivered to your room from few restaurants around the hotel
- Ermanno (2/5): - I had to modify the ticket cause the TAG Airline delayed his departure from Belize City int. Airport and I would have lost the connection to Panama. It was a disgraceful situation. Very upset.
- Paul (2/5): - 😔
- Hector (6/5): - I can't complain too much. It was the best price for hotels in the area. So you get what you paid for. However; the room was clean, the A/C worked, plenty of hot water. A place to expend one night or two. Close to the airport (5 minutes). You will need a taxi for everything else.
- Alí (8/5): - Good for the price
- Armando Jose (8/5): - Good for a long layover stay
- Daryl (4/5): - Close to airport..
- Martin (8/5): - Well placed from the airport, but there is nothing around, no stores, no restaurants. You need to take a cab for anything.
- Jose (10/5): - The location is great. The room was okay, ac works good. Beds a little rough but okay for the price.
Shower door was missing a section so we had to use the bath towel to dry the floor.
Easy check in & out.
- Ian (8/5): - We we stuck after our flight was cancelled and all other hotels in the area were book up. The hotel is very basic in a not very nice area but very close to the airport. The double bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked well and the shower had hot water. That’s all we needed.
- PATRICE (8/5): - Basic but economical and clean, conveniently located near the Tocumen airport. They also offer free shuttle to the airport. Very light breakfast included (2 toasts and coffee juice)
- Stephen (2/5): - Unfortunately I did not take time for due diligence as a result of making a quick decision to get out of the city getting close to the airport because of the protest and road blockade.
As soon as I went to the room I knew the air was bad. There was several signs of mold. The lock on the door did not work properly. I told the staff that i was diagnosed with a mold toxin illness (CIRS) and I could not stay in the building and asked for a refund. They have a no refund policy. The condition of the Property explains why.
I attempted to do a cancelation after checking in and it said I would be billed anyway.
I would not recommend this property because I dont believe it is a safe environment with the mold issue.
- Maria (2/5): - I was there only long enough for a taxi to arrive and go to another hotel. .the only thing apparently that was working was the air.
- Vecous (2/5): - The property was unfit for travelers. I did not stay even for one night. Would be nice to get a refund.
- Randy (8/5): - It is close to the airport. Airplane noise but its cheap.
- Danielle (2/5): - I did not have a working television for my kids and I did not receive any breakfast in the mornings. The hospitality was terrible
- ALVARO (6/5): - Dirty shower, doors and lock were not safe
