Kids running around up and down stairs like it was a playground. Not what I expected of a luxury hotel.

The accommodation is comfortable and the hotel has all the facilities you need, however the entire hotel is showing signs of age and is in need of a major refresh throughout.

Tobias (9/5): A lovely place to spend a week :) - The location was perfect, the views and overall vibe were great and the cocktails were delicious. The only dinner I had in the week I was there was the steak and it was pretty average considering the price. The only other thing was the menu was very dinner orientated with large plates of food, sides but nothing in between (for those that wanted a smaller plate or something like a sandwich for lunch).

Amy (6/5): Disappointing in many ways but somehow best sleep in a hotel yet - Location was quite nice, and the beds in our room were soooo comfortable. Coffee was lovingly made and service at front desk, cafe and in restaurant was warm and welcoming. When we described our issues to front desk they were happy to accommodate us to another room but when we sat on the beds in the new room they were not nearly as good as the beds we had so we stayed put and had two good nights sleep all up. The smell of neighbours smoking, the mould on doors, the blocked sink, the weird smell of room.We accidentally locked ourselves out of laundry (7am-7pm says on the door but we didn’t see that until we couldn’t get back in at around 8pm after putting our washing in at 7.30pm). We called management/after hours which took a while on hold and then just pretty rudely told its open 7-7. No one on site apparently to unlock it for us. All good waited til 7am to collect. They had someone cleaning our door on our second morning which had water come in underneath and the poor maintenance man was shocked that we were inside the room as there was a fail in comms obviously between management and himself. Not his fault but management seems to be lacking.

Anna Maria (8/5): Beautiful hotel and surroundings - The Mangrove Hotel is a great place to spend a couple of days in Broome. It’s central with walking distance to the town and the bus stop is right across the street. The staff was really friendly and enabled everything for a comfortable stay. It was nice to have access to cool filtered water at the bar. The views from the restaurant and terrace are amazing. The pool could have been a bit more clean.

At $450 a night, rooms were a little dated. The tv in the room was huge (normally fantastic but as we were in a room overlooking the bay, it took up half the window space restricting the view.

Kim (9/5): Excellent base to explore and relax by the pool, and we will be back! - Beautiful views, two pools, lovely room, great food in the restaurant, fabulous coffee! No where to hang wet clothes in room, some pavers need sorting around place.
Victoria (10/5): - Very nice accommodation. The place where people come from other places to see Staircase to the moon. Walking distance to the city and other places of interest. You get picked up for excursions. The airport is also very close. You can catch the bus then walk a little. It was great.

Louise (10/5): Fabulous stay - highly recommend - Beautiful property. We were upgraded to a suite, a friend had called ahead to let them know it was our honeymoon. Lovely card, bottle of bubbles and cocktail vouchers in addition to the complimentary room upgrade. Our suite was fabulous with amazing views. Location was great, walking distance to a variety of pubs/restaurants, and Chinatown. Temperature of the pools was a little warm, however that is to be expected with the climate.

Shani (8/5): Overall we had a great, staff were especially pleasant and helpful - Garden View Room - Great space, very clean, nice restaurants, pools are great aswell and it feels like safe place to bring your family. Parking is limited, especially when the restaurant and bar are busy, which can mean having to park a fair distance from the room (up the street or across the road parking area). It would be great if parking spaces closer to the rooms could be reserved for guests only.

Donna (10/5): - Fantastic wet season stay, love the facilities, great vegan food options at the restaurant. Very friendly. Comfortable bed. The sandflies! Yikes.
Marcelle C (8/5): Absolutely Brilliant stay-staff are the best! - Staff and service were excellent, especially the staff on the front desk Unable to adjust our temperature control on our aircon and it was a bit uncomfortable. Remote would not allow us to change it upstairs but our family staying downstairs had wall controls and their rooms were lovely and cool.
