Addie (1/5): Very unpleasant experience - Good location, coffee available, warm Breakfast To Go We were assigned a spacious room on the main floor when we arrived to our confirmed booking. When we opened the door to our room we were confronted with a strong sewer smell. We requested a different room at the front desk but were told the that there were no other rooms available at the hotel. Our host brought febreeze air freshner plugins but out night was not pleasant. The bed was comfortable but the bathroom towels were stained and the strong smell permeated everything. The couch was stained as well as the carpet. We were only charged half of the price quoted on our booking and were given a warm Breakfast To Go. The front desk staff were apologetic. We will not be staying at this hotel again.

Robin (4/5): Would not recommend - The bedroom/ vanity part of the room was nice and clean. The bathroom was clean but in terrible condition, cracked and discoloured grout, discoloured bath tub that could be cleaned with bleach, rust or dirt or both on the heater. The room that I booked with my children - that likely would be going in the pool and did we were told we were in a room that was outside so we had to walk only outside in the winter, come in the front doors, walk past the lounge & restaurant and then go through the hotel to get to the pool and back to the room all in our bathing suits, towels and robes. My kids that are 5 & 9 said this is embarrassing and cold, I thought we were staying at a nice hotel. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. The breakfast bun was a prepackaged sandwich that I would not feed to my dog because of the ingredients, thankfully it had an apple, yogurt, granola bar and juice. The hot tub was dirty, also looking like it has staining and needs bleach as well as a vacuum because of the dirt in the corners. My baths at home are also hotter than the hot tub.
Mara (10/5): Great stay, would stay again. Little outdated, but still did the job! Clean rooms comfortable beds. The guy at the desk - Rooms are cozy and comfortable. Beds very comfortable. The guy at the desk was so friendly made the stay enjoyable and felt very welcomed.

Brittany (5/5): Wouldn’t stay again. - Very good price BUT you get what you pay for. My kids had a lot of fun on the waterside and the beds are comfortable We were given a motel access side of the hotel. There was no mat at the door so the second you would walk in it was a muddy slippery death trap. We had to put towels down so we didn’t break our necks. The pool access was in the main hotel so we had to walk outside in -20 just to get to the doors. The pool seemed okay but the hot tub was dirty and foggy and there AC blasting over it. The bathroom was very dated and the fan was extremely loud when the light was on This one obviously isn’t the hotels fault but some guy with a diesel truck parked directly outside our door and started his truck for 15 min at 5am and woke everyone up. I’d normally stay anywhere for the right price but I truely wouldn’t stay here again.

Gaudet (7/5): - Door had no seal on the bottom and the cold air came in all night long. One of the guests parked his diesel truck in front of our door and we could smell the diesel fumes at 7 am.

Elizabeth (9/5): Fantastic stay in a clean and comfortable room. - Everything about the property was immaculately clean and really showed pride and care. The free coffee in the lobby was excellent and the availability of a pool and waterslide was great for our son. The hot tub wasn’t very hot and the jet barely worked.

Outdoor walkways were dirty, as well as the bathroom. Having included breakfast, a bagged breakfast that you had to eat in your room. Not standard Canalta standards.

Tammy (10/5): Family Trip - Our stay was great at this hotel. The room was quite large. The bed & pillows were comfortable. The breakfast was sufficient. The food and service at the onsite lounge and restaurant was excellent! Location was perfect, close to restaurants and shopping. We would stay there again when visiting family.

There were spills down the side of dresser and someone before us picked a pimple in the mirror and it was still there. Gross. Once you see something in plain sight that is dirty, everything feels gross and wonder what you are not seeing.

HEATHER (4/5): - Over all, this was not a good stay. We paid $220 for a bed…the pool and hotel restaurant were both shut down AND the room actually smelled of backed up sewer. We left the doors open to air it out. It was FAR too expensive with zero perks. We were even with a large group, you would think they would have been prepared.

Reynolds (10/5): Their Send Off - We had a King Suite with a living room, kitchenette, bathroom, and separate bedroom. The bed was very comfortable and it gave us an area to visit with our godchildren and my girlfriend and her husband, before my girlfriend and our goddaughter went on a missionary trip to Bali for a few weeks this summer. They live nearby your hotel, so it was very convenient! That we couldn't afford to stay longer!

Thomas (8/5): A very comfortable and enjoyable stay. - Their breakfast in a bag was just barely acceptable. Very bland and unimaginative. A new thermostat in our room needs operating instructions. I,m pretty tech savvy, but this time I was beat. Otherwise our room was exceptional. Large, comfortable and very clean. One of the best stays we have had in a long time. We will definitely use Canalta in the future.
