- Dy (8/5): Great budget hotel next to a Karaoke and Indonesian Restaurant - The room was clean, hot water is running, AC also works. Location is also strategic. During breakfast, there were little chairs and desks in the non-smoking area so I had to sit in the smoking area which was quite uncomfortable. I had a hard time to breathe because of the smoke and i couldn't enjoy my breakfast.

- John (6/5): Great budget hotel - Experience staying at the POP was an enjoyable one. I was able to go around to other parts of Jakarta with easy access from here and this place is also only less than an away from by cab from the airport.
- Fai (8/5): Cute, comfortable hotel - Stayed here a couple of times. Hotel staff are super friendly and accomodating. Room cleanliness is good with basic facilities, price is also inclusive of small bite breakfast which is a plus. However parking space for hotel guests is an issue on weekends.

- Verified traveler (8/5): When the flood hit Jakarta - If I am not able to go back home for some reason especially when my house is surrounded by flood, POP hotel Tebet is my choice to stay the night, it is simple, clean and nice staff covering all of your basic need. Reservation is also very easy just a click away from laptop and rate is reasonably Okay as well.

- Michael (4/5): Very clean, very noisy - The room was very clean, but thtere is no chair, table or anything but pegs to put one's clothes on. The noise outside was continuous through the night, even with earplugs. Double glazing would fix it. The food area in the hotel's courtyard is simple and pleasant, and suitably priced.
- Fairuz Y. (8/5): Cheap, affordable hotel - As the name suggests, POP! Hotel does not disappoint. The location is located along nearby eateries and convenience stores. The size of the room is adequate and roomy enough. It is clean and comfortable. However only basic ammenities such as towels, shower gel,soap and bottled drinks are given as a standard. It does come with a small safe should you require it. The hotel has simple but vibrant colour schemes which makes you feel welcome. Stand out feature is the bathroom which looks like a futuristic pod. Although small, it is a unique and welcoming concept. Daily complimentary breakfast was good enough with one main dish replaced daily, bread, condiments and drinks such as water, coffee and tea. Realized there was a leak from the air-con and that my tap did not have cold water during the 2nd day. Promptly informed the front desk before it was being fixed immediately. The parking is not ample enough however there are always hotel parking attendants which are helpful in giving us directions to park our car and move it to ensure that it is parked within its premises for its hotel guests. Overall for the price it is one of the most value for money hotels with a pleasant experience that I have stayed in Jakarta.

There are restaurants nearby (walk behind the hotel) and convenience marts down the street. In mid-day the taxi ride to Central Jakarta was about an hour.
