• harleighm2026 (2/5): Bare minimum hotel - Chose this hotel for a quick weekend get away for our family of 4 with three must haves, breakfast, a pool, clean rooms. Overall a decent hotel as far as cleanliness and staff being polite, the heat in the room had a mind of its own so it was warmer than it was set to, the pool was closed with no notice posted at the desk, no mention when checking in nor when booking online, cue very upset kids. The biggest issue was that when we went to enjoy breakfast after our first night my husband took a drink of milk only to spit it out as it was spoiled, thankfully neither of our children had any, what my son did have was a waffle only to take a bite and tell me it tasted funny. Hes 5 so I took a bite to make sure he wasnt having a weird food day, nope! The waffle batter had clearly turned bad as well! So if you're looking for a bare minimum hotel that doesn't care to follow food codes or properly notify guests of issues with ammentities this is your place!
• Darin (6/5): Good value, but not comfortable. - Easy check in/out. Good location. It's a reasonable value for a one night stay. The bed was rock hard and not very comfortable.

• Roxanne (4/5): - This hotel was very mismanaged. Our flight was delayed , so we did not get to the hotel until 1:30 AM. No hotel staff was there. A note at the desk gave a number to call. When we called it the person said that they had went to the airport and would be back soon. When they got back they could not find our reservation that we had book 2 months earlier, but finally just gave us rooms but told us since they didn’t know we were coming , to let us know if the rooms needed anything and that the manager would be there in the morning. There was no trash cans in the rooms, the TV didn’t work, the body was had fallen off the wall of the shower and was broken on the shower floor. and the blow dryer was broken. The next morning we were told that the manager was in meetings and couldn’t talk to us. Late that afternoon a gentleman at the desk apologized to us. Saying that he didn’t know why we had been told we had no reservation, when he remembers putting it in the system 2 months ago. He then went out of his way to fix the problems in our rooms. The front desk was unmanned most mornings and breakfast items often ran out. One of the reasons we booked this hotel was because of the indoor pool . Unfortunately the pool was ice cold and the the hot tub was barely warm. There was also some sticky on the handrail into the pool. They told us it would be fixed but in the three days we were there it wasn’t. Next time we visit Minot we will not be staying here!
• Steven (6/5): - The pool was down. Common area bathrooms were gross. Breakfast was not good. The room itself was big and nice but there was water damage on the bathroom ceilings and they were out of shampoo in the pump bottle. The place needs some care.

However, having said that, the room was clean, big and the beds comfortable. While I did have to wait at the desk for the attendant to come, she was friendly and helpful.

• Travis (4/5): A Hotel In Decline - Not impressed with this hotel. We checked-in at 8pm and our room was not ready. When check-in starts earlier in the day, we expected that by 8pm our room would be ready to go. The front desk said there were things missing and it would take about 5 minutes to ready the room. 10 minutes later we were finally able to get in. The door was extremely hard to open. I had to put my entire weight into as it had been broken and never fully fixed. The floors/carpet were damp, there was leftover food in our fridge, the shower curtain had brown mildew all over the bottom, there was no shampoo or soap left in the room and you could see through the 2 towels (only 2 in the room for 3 people) that were in the room. Additionally, the pool/hot tub were closed for the entirity of our stay. I would not recommend staying here.
• KORLA (6/5): - Stayed here numerous times , this time a lot of maintenance issues . Big storm when we arrived , seal in window broken , water was coming into room, front desk on duty was excellent in helping us out. Breakfast was ok , not as good as usual .

Toilet lid had to be taken off so we could flush the toilet. We did mention to front desk but was still not fixed upon our return.
• jordansC4983KR (2/5): Dumpy hotel with everything out of order and multiple items needing to be fixed. Not clean. - This place is by far one of the dumpiest hotels I’ve stayed at in a long time. I believe it used to be a Comfort Inn or they changed the name and is now managed by comfort. A member in our party arrived late in the evening to be given a room that wasn’t cleaned. The breakfast food wasn’t a great selection and I couldn’t finish the eggs as they tasted so bad. A kid came up to me and warned me of the sour tasting waffle mix and not to eat them. The chair cushions in the breakfast/lobby area looked like they haven’t be cleaned or replaced in years with multiple stains. Multiple areas of the hotel that were rundown and items needing to be fixed. I can’t believe our company would house people in this place. Oh, and everything is out of order!!! The ice machine, no range juice, no milk… etc.

• Solotrav2023 (4/5): Cheap, steer clear. - The staff at the front desk were great, but unfortunately several things happened. One, the blinds in my room were only half installed. I could only shut one, therefore light was emerging, as well as not having complete privacy. Second, there was a weird slippery feeling to the room (unsure if they cleaned it just recently or what), but I was slipping all over the laminate flooring. And the carpet had a wet feel as well. Third, the bed was rather uncomfortable. Very hard, too hard. As well as the sheets didn’t seem to have been changed, or washed. At this point, I had been traveling since 2 AM that morning and had already been told there was only one other room available which had no AC. I didn’t want to change hotels as I was so exhausted. It was a rather cheap night and I am unfortunately seeing why. The manager claimed there was only one housekeeper with over 40 dirty rooms. And couldn’t find the maintenance man to see if he could fix the blind, nor could he find any extra blinds to help. The breakfast and gym were adequate, but the overall look of the hotel is rather telling. The seats in the breakfast area were stained immensely, the hallways had ceiling tiles out and buckets underneath, and my bathroom shower had a huge crack and hole in the corner. Not the greatest stay, has potential, but needs work.

• George (3/5): I would much rather have spent my stay elsewhere - The exterior looks updated. The lobby looked decent and clean. The bed was comfortable. When I got to my room there was a pair of socks in the closet from another guest. Showered and noticed there were dark hairs stuck on the side of the shower from a previous guest. Then my wife pulled back the comforter and found sticky brown stains on the comforter and what looked like more of the same on the sheets. I went to the front desk to get a new comforter and after talking about all the things was offered a new room. That was good because by this time my wife was grossed out by the room, and the whole experience. The next room didn’t have the same issues. It did look like there were dark hairs on the pillow cases though. The toilet level doesn’t work correctly and will run continuously. The sink waster pressure is so intense it will soak you if you’re not careful. The hand shower leaks and the fan in the bathroom looked like it’s never been cleaned. The door also seems to not latch and sticks. Have to pull the door significantly to get it to latch. Like with your body weight. The fan in the first bathroom did not work. Overall it seems like there are maintenance issues everywhere in this hotel. It appeared one of the elevators did not function. The trim is missing around the entrance to the exercise room. Looked like someone dropped food in the elevator and it was there all day. I went to the ND state fair to enjoy the fair and a concert. I understand that prices are inflated during that time. This stay was in no way worthy of $500 for 2 nights. The reviews looked very good but the stay was disappointing. The pool was also closed due to checking the water. Should have received a discount for that. I would whole heartedly skip this hotel. If it was much closer to $100 per night it would be what I’d expect. I am now leery of trusting the positive reviews. This doesn’t bother me but it looks like there’s either wall paper adhesive stains or some other stains on the walls in my room and wall paper or paint peeling in the shower.
• Caleb (8/5): Well rested over 2 night stay - Nice rooms, good ac in 207. Not so good door latch, have to pull hard to fit. Phone cord was missing also. Lee checked us in and was pleasant and helpful. Trevon who checked us out tried looking for a spare hair dryer for my wife as there were none. Props to him. Breakfast was decent with links bacon eggs and waffles. Good strong coffee also. Fitness room was nice with 4-5 pieces. Did not visit pool area although i was told the hot tub was open but not heating.

• Bryan (6/5): Okayish… with lots of cons. - 1st room I got had a blackout blind ripped out/missing. I was offered a different room. 2nd room the bathroom fan was super loud and it took five minutes for the sink light to fully brighten. I love pooping in the dark since there’s no light near the toilet. The ac/heat register fan clicked very loudly that I had to wear earplugs to sleep. One of the lights on the wall had a broken cfl light in it. The main door to the hallway, you had to pull really hard to get the door handle mechanism to function to open the door, really needs replaced. And lastly for the cons… the stupid azz smoke detector had flashing green led lights that would light up the room including right into your eyes if you were laying towards it. Overall the room was quiet and the bed was firm but comfy to sleep. As for the property, eh a door on the north side that should be a keyed lock isn’t locking, free to move in and out. The outdoor lounge area is right next to the loud ac fans, one of the two elevators was out of service, the pool was out of service (saw another review that said it was closed over 6 months ago) Also saw on the 1st floor at the west side stairs that that there was an emergency door that was left open and there was a sign saying “keep closed for safety of patrons” Honestly, I won’t come back to stay.. staff was nice and courteous… mgmt and owners of the place don’t care because things ain’t fixed

• A (1/5): Didn't have my reserved room, and no solutions or compassion for a Disabled Veteran - I am a Disabled Veteran, and my husband is also disabled. We booked, and paid for, a King Disability room more than 24 hours in advance. Showed up to check in at 8:30 pm after a 2 1/2 hour drive from my town to Minot for a medical appointment the next morning. Lee (the front desk attendant) informed me they didn't have my room available. They also didn't have any regular king rooms either. He told me he would give me a 2 queen room, which should be good enough since we would each have our own bed. "Take it or leave it." NO APOLOGY, NO ANYTHING. Had him call the Manager who had even LESS compassion than the guy at the desk. I told the manager that they knew a king room was booked when housekeeping was there that morning and it should have been on a list to clean. She said "Oh well, these things happen. I'm done talking about it, there's nothing I can do." At this point, I looked on Booking dot com for another hotel, but THIS hotel STILL had king AND king disability rooms listed as available to book. They had not corrected their availability. Lee also said he wasn't going to update it, and if someone booked it, when they showed up he would just give them a queen room. So, at 9:30pm I had to go and book another hotel room at my expense, and spend 40 minutes on the phone to get this room refunded. The front desk AND the Manager here don't care, don't have any compassion, and offered no solutions. If I could give a -10 I would.

It was priced well, and it was clean. I will give it that.

The provided blow had broken pieces that hasn't been fixed because they don't wipe it down when cleaning. The blow dryers handle was extremely sticky with residue of some sort. Other than that the bed was clean and comfy, nice tv, clean fridge and microwave. The staff I dealt with were polite and nice

From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt welcomed and at ease. The staff was incredibly friendly, greeting us with warm smiles and making sure we had everything we needed to check in smoothly. The lobby was clean, modern, and inviting, setting the tone for what turned out to be a fantastic stay. Our room was spacious, spotless, and well-appointed with all the essentials for a comfortable visit. The beds were plush and cozy, ensuring that we all got a great night’s sleep after our long day of travel. It was also a huge plus that the room had plenty of space for our kids to relax and unwind. One of the highlights for our family was the hotel’s amenities. The breakfast was a wonderful way to start the day—fresh, delicious, and with a great variety to satisfy both the kids and us. The pool was clean and well-maintained, providing a fun and safe environment for our children to splash around and enjoy themselves. Another aspect that stood out was the hotel’s quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Even with other families staying there, we never felt disturbed, and the overall environment was perfect for relaxation.
• Isabell (10/5): - Staff was friendly. We arrived a bit short on time for the continental breakfast and ended up going past the end time, the dront desk offered to bring us anything else.
• Shantel (4/5): - Was looking forward to using the pool and hot tub. The hot tub was cold and the pool only had about 3/4 of the water it should have had in. I booked 2 rooms in the booking asked for 2 queens was only given 1 room with 2 queens annd other room was a king. Were placed on 2 different floors.
• Ryan (6/5): - Pool was down our whole trip, bathroom floors were sticky where we stayed and the glass fort for the shower was broken in a way. The place is nice and quiet as there was only about 4 other families that stayed there at the time.

• Tom (2/5): Below Average - Food, front desk, location Pool was outta service n didnt find out till on property and a/c unit rattled and kept us up all nite. Was told we had two adjoining rooms then once on property second room was up a floor..room next to us was used for employee breakroom where they cussed alot and were loud.
• Michael (2/5): Pick another option - They first checked us in to a room not cleaned. Moved us to a clean room, but next morning we woke up to the cleaning staff entering our room unannounced. Management had no explanation for either mistake, and were uninterested in any resolution beyond the minimum empty apology. At checkout they couldn't print my receipt, had to leave my email (same that I booked with). Leaving this review 3 days after checkout, haven't received my receipt. Sonesta will not be an option for us next time.
• Roxanne (2/5): - The outside of the property is misleading. Check in was smooth. Until we carried all our luggage inside. 2 sets of keys didnt work. They moved us to a different room. Tv volume wouldnt turn down past 10, one of the black put curtains was missing, huge crack in the shower we didnt notice until after midnight. Exhaust fan was very loud in the bathroom. Listened to kids scream and holler all night.
• Kayla (2/5): - There was nothing about the hotel i liked. It was nasty all over. In all honesty it looked like a last minute room just put together but poorly

• Devin (4/5): Cleaning crew must have been asleep - The staff were excellent. First room our tv did not work and smelt horrible so the front desk staff, Lee easily gave us a different room. The 2nd room smelt better, the tv worked but there was urine all over the toilet seat and bathroom floor - once again Lee came to the rescue as we asked if he could thoroughly clean it which he did. We usually have a good stay here so were surprised at this definite cleaning oversight.

• Makenzie (2/5): - Went there to enjoy the hot tub & pool that they said they had when i called the day before but when we got there the pool area was out of service for a while now. So complained to the manager and they said they would see what they could do and they would call and of course they never did. Very run down & smells bad.
• Vicky (10/5): - Breakfast was nice, room was awesome, location is very well located, the only thing I did not like is that the hot tub and pool were out of order and I was looking forward to use them to relax.

• AngieandTroy (6/5): - It was a nice hotel, but not sure how often they clean the bedding, the bottom bed skirt was still dirty from something, we were on the 3rd floor so more noise was in this area, there was a knocking in the night from something. We did have to ask for more towels because they had not filled ours, breakfast was not the greatest, but the coffee was good and the beds were comfortable, it was dry in there for this time of year. For 1 night it was fine.
• Perry (10/5): - Was good but stated they had a hot tub put wasn't working. I hate when the false advertising does that. If it’s broke hotel should state that.
• Mary (10/5): Comfortable, clean great staff and a nice place to stay. - Close to the hospital as we were visiting a sick family member there. Also liked how close it was to the Pizza Ranch and appreciated the breakfast and coffee at the hotel.
