- Bruno (2/5): - The "hotel" (in my opinion is more like a hostel) itself is very good. The bad thing is the attention of the staff. The blond receptionist is very rude. He makes faces (gestures) when he doesn't understand what you are saying. It is very rude. The breakfast is not big deal. Maybe you can search a better "hotel" around the city.

- ANNA (10/5): Прекрасный отель северной пальмиры - После проживания в Вашем отеле остались весьма благоприятные впечатления. Вежливый и ненавязчивый персонал, уютный номер, комната для подогрева пищи имитирует домашнюю кухню создает домашнюю обстановку. Повсюду чистота и порядок. Прилегающий район неподалеку от набережной и метро да и рядом есть куда пойти посетить храмы и просто пройтись мимо старинных домов. Приемлемые для гостей отеля цены. Все вышеизложенное полагаю стоит высокой оценки. В следующую поездку если придется посетить северную столицу однозначно уже не стоит выбирать где заселится.

- H. (8/5): Dicht bij het centrum - Goed hotel qua prijs-/kwaliteitverhouding. Niet lux, maar voor ons als echtpaar met vrienden ruim voldoende, wij zoeken dit soort hotels ook. Ontbijt iets minder dan we gewend zijn, maar ook dat went, bovendien erg goedkoop. Personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam en spraak goed engels.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Gemütliches Hotel mit sehr, sehr netten und hilfsbereitem Personal. Die Frühstücksauswahl ist klein, aber ausreichend. Die Zimmer und das Bad waren sauber. Mit dem Bus ist man innerhalb von 7 Minuten direkt in der Innenstadt und bei den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Eine Bushaltestelle ist direkt neben dem Hotel.
- Jacob Kirkeby (8/5): Wonderfull staff - We had 3 good nights at Stasov Hotel in September 2017. We got a big room with plenty of space, the hotel is of older date but nothing is wrong with that. Breakfast is available for a small fee. The best thing about the hotel is the staff. We were welcomed by some super cute guys at the front desk who spoke good english. They were very helpful and accommodating. 24-hour reception. Within walking distance (10-15 minutes) to the Winter Palace. Recommendable!

- Alejandro (8/5): One of the few mid-range hotels in Veliky Novgorod - It is one of the few mid-range hotels available in Veliky Novgorod. It is located across the river, opposite the Kremlin, and close to the Yaroslav Courtyard, with its wonderful churches. It is clean, and has all the amenities required, including a lift (quite infrequent in Russia). Our room was very spacious with two large windows overlooking a stream. The bathroom is a bit old but it works properly. It serves mainly organised tours, and, the receptionists speak English. The main drawback is the buffet breakfast which is consistently substandard. Another problem is that the left-luggage facilities are always open, and they don't give you any identification for your luggage.

Остановка автобуса прямо под окном. В отеле очень приветливый, дружелюбный персонал. Причем все: начиная с рецепшен и заканчивая обслуживающим персоналом. При следующем посещении Питера остановимся только в этом отеле! Спасибо большое за всё!!!

- Woman (8/5): Good hotel in quiet area - Stasov hotel was nice and clean hotel. Locker, kitchen and warm atmosphere made our trip. Location is not in the center of St. Petersburg, but if you are okay with walking it's not a problem. Shared bathrooms were clean and nice until another guests came whom didn't understand the hotel rules.

Чисто, раз в три дня меняли белье. Мелкие недостатки: слишком мягкие кровати, инструкция к сейфу приклеена на уровне пола в темном шкафу. Желательно поставить на кухню солонку (думаю, многие покупают по килограмму соли) и поточить нож.

The staff is extremely helpful and speak very good English. We felt at home at this hotel! Our next trip to St Petersburg will most certainly include a stay at the Stasov.

Очень удобное расположение - прямо под окном остановка, несколько минут до Невского. Номер чистый, уютный, персонал очень отзывчивый и доброжелательный. Единственное, что можно было бы улучшить - тапочки в номер. Всем советую!

Чисто, уютно, комфортно, персонал и его отношение к гостям заслуживают высшей оценки. На мелких недостатках даже не хочется акцентировать внимание (все таки не Палас-Отель с его ценами). Хотим выразить благодарность не только отелю Стасов и его персоналу, но и сайту Hotels.com. Не ожидали. До новых встреч. Обязательно!

- Wing Leung (8/5): An encore booking, for reasons more than mentioned - An additional night we booked while changing travel plan, this was a responsive & accommodating hotel with knowledgeable staff speaking good English comparatively, especially in Russia. Very good location and it only took a walk, or 10 to 15 min. bus rides to arrive major tourist areas on the Vasily Island, Nevskiy street, Peter & Paul fortress, or the Hermitage. Room cleaning lady on our floor was good and individual shower rooms shared with other visitors were clean as well. Kitchen was convenient and neat, though it was absolutely non-soundproof. (plus the aggressive traffic downstairs, you have to leave the window open at summer nights to appreciate their engine-powers... :D ) Stayed 5 nights in total and will go back if we couldn't find another one to beat it. See you St. Petersburg... :)

Very good location and it only took a walk, or 10 to 15 min. bus rides to arrive major tourist areas on the Vasily Island, Nevskiy street, Peter & Paul fortress, or the Hermitage. - Cheryl (6/5): Stasov - We stayed at the hote for 2 nights and hadn't realised the setup. You are placed in an apartment with another 2/3 rooms which share a bathroom and kitchen. The kitchen is basic but has a fridge and microwave. What is useful is that there is a 24 hour supermarket next door where you can buy what you need. It is small but has a good vodka selection. Hotel staff are extremely helpful.

- Thoralf (8/5): Svært god service - Jeg var svært fornøyd med servicen, noe som gjorde at jeg benyttet hotellet to ganger i løpet av mitt opphold i Russland. Om du vil benytte deg av hotellet, forsøk å unngå rom som vender mot gata, da det er mye støy fra den trafikkerte gata. Rommene er romslige, men det er ikke eget bad eller speil. Du må dele bad og et ekstra toalett med to andre rom. Men dette skapte ikke noen problemer for meg. Hotellet har ikke egen restaurant.

- 김승재 (10/5): 추천합니다. - 생각했던 것 보다 방이 깨끗하고 넓어서 편히 지냈고요~ 단지 화장실과 욕실을 방 3곳이 공동사용하는 부분은 불편하지만.. 공용 부엌이 있어 음식보관과 간단한 조리가 가능하여 장기채류 시 편리합니다. 가까운 곳에 서브웨이 등 식사가능한 곳들이 있고요. 호텔 바로 옆에 늦게까지 일하는 슈퍼가 있습니다.
