- John (10/5): - 15 min off Rt 93 Downtown Littleton is 15 min away , all the stores and restaurants are right there. Leaving the resort go on 302 east are the ski resorts. The beds are very comfortable, shower water pressure is very good, a nice and quiet place. This is not a welfare hotel . We will be back when we are in this area to stay .

We will definitely stay here - Attention to detail was amazing, the owner, the room, hangers in the bathroom, curved shower rod, plush & firm options for the mattress and for the pillows, etc. The owner even gave us local restaurant info upon check-in. We will definitely stay here again! We missed having a fridge, but it was cold outside so we left food & drinks in the car.

Washroom and tub are spotless clean. To me and my wife, we felt like home. I will definitely stay there when I visit white mountain again. Highly recommended.

Toast and coffee available in the morning and a long way (by British standards!) to find a restaurant open for breakfast. We had a superior room with kitchen facilities which was very comfortable.

- Michael (10/5): Great location for visiting Mount Washington - We stayed at Carlson's Lodge as part of a road trip around north east USA. It is ideally positioned for visiting Mount Washington although the immediate vicinity is quite remote with very few shops of other amenities around - ideal if you want peace and solitude. The room itself was large with a good sized bed, it was clean and had everything you would need including a small kitchen with a stove and a microwave, a good WiFi signal and USB electrical outlets. Some of the furniture was dated but this added to the homely charm of the place as did the warm friendly welcome from the proprietor. We enjoyed our stay here and slept well, always a good measure.

Th decor is tasteful and our room was nicely situated and EXCEPTIONALLY clean!!!! There was a small issue with water that we were informed of by the pleasant staff which was cleared up quickly. We were offered an upgraded room as well. Continental breakfast is very light and restaurants in the area have limited hours so plan ahead for meals. Over all experience was very good and we would return if in the area!

- nina (8/5): White mountains lodge - We checked in to a warm inviting old fashioned sort of lodge. Just off the road, so convenient, but quiet. Bretton Woods is very close, and you can purchase your lift tickets at the inn. We couldn’t really appreciate the woodsy setting, as it was covered in snow and quite cold out, but I suspect the grounds are lovely. Breakfast, as advertised, is light continental. Bring your own fruit, if that’s what you like in the morning. Would I stay again! ABSOLUTELY
- Deb (8/5): Family own/operated - We spent two nights here. It was a good location for our travels from Maine to Vermont. Hotel owner was welcoming and there were many conveniences like late entry, keyless room access, pool.
- Shay (8/5): Comfortable rustic charm - Quaint family owned and run guesthouse that is quiet and that has beautiful mountain views. The bed and pillows were comfortable, room was spotlessly clean. Decor was dated but that's part of the charm. Playground, pool and spacious grounds make for a great family getaway only a few miles from the mountains. Breakfast was basic continental (cereal, bread/toast, apples, coffee), but the owner recommended a great cafe in town that was a good alternative. Would stay here again!
- Raymond (4/5): On tour in New England. - We were a bit disappointed with the breakfast offered. It was a bit minimal and in a relstively small area with only 4 tables servicing 20 plus rooms. On the other side it was nice to both proper crockery and cutlery for the first time on this trip and the broadband speed was the best so far. Our room itself was absolutely fine.

The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. I slept great!! If traveling in the area again, I would definitely stay here again.

- Nick (10/5): Great Location, lovely Lodge. - I was really looking forward to staying at the Carlson Lodge due mainly to the Gorgeous location and the country lodge feel. I wasnt dissapointed other than the fact we only had one night. The lodge felt very homely amd we were welcomed. We had the two room family unit which was lovely. We used the pool which was a great addition. Breakfast was serve yourself with a donation requested in an honesty box, during which we met a lovely family and struck up a great conversation. I would love to go back to Carlson Lodge again for longer.

- Barbara (10/5): Feel like a guest at a close friend's home. - At Carlson's lodge I felt like a family friend. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable and feel more like a guest room in someone's home than a hotel room. You can tell much thought was put into comfort of the guest. The beds are are new and either firm or plush top.

- Allison (10/5): Clean, cozy and quiet - I stayed for 2 nights. I was welcomed and received lots of information from the front desk. Very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas. My room was large, clean, and comfortable. The beds are comfortable. The room was clean. I cannot say anything negative about my stay. I only wish I had made time to try out the inground pool! The view out my window in the morning was also beautiful!
