Shockingly, when we reached the other Ginger hotel, the staff there informed us that rooms were actually available at the first property. It became very clear that we were being manipulated by the unprofessional and unsupportive staff of this property. Even though we could clearly see room availability online, the reception staff kept lying and denying rooms. To make things worse, a lady suddenly appeared and said she could "arrange" a room — but only at an inflated and unjustified price. While the rates on Booking.com were very reasonable at that exact moment, the hotel staff shamelessly quoted much higher tariffs for the same rooms. When we booked online, we easily got the room at a much lower price, proving that the staff was intentionally trying to cheat us. The entire drama was frustrating, dishonest, and completely unacceptable, especially when we were already in a hurry to attend my cousin’s wedding. Overall, our experience at this property was extremely disappointing, unprofessional, and unethical. The hotel itself was quite clean and comfortable, which made for a pleasant stay. I especially want to mention Pratik Rakesh, the service boy who took care of us during our visit. He was really attentive and friendly, going out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. It was nice to see someone so dedicated to providing good service.

• Ashish (8/5): Very good service in a safe environment and a great price. - Clean rooms, clean bathroom, great breakfast and dining room. The restaurant staff were very courteous and helpful, names I remember are Hemant Kumar and Rakesh. Our relatives who were in another room, left behind their medical device when they checked out the day before us. I contacted the cleaning person on our floor and he had already given it to the front desk. Upon enquiring at the front desk to have the item couriered at our cost, tha manager, Mr. Suraj Kumar, promptly said not to worry because he would take care of sending it at the hotel's cost. The item arrived the next day at our relative's house in Benares with no cost to us. We were all very impressed!

They will go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. They upgraded my room and my breakfast as well. Staff is amazing and you will get everything in just a phone call. Breakfast is served hot and staff will get you anything you want. The hotel walls are in a dilapidated state, unfortunately. It needs renovation.
