- Vanessa (9/5): Toller Urlaub in sehr schönen Villen, aber kein echtes 5-Sterne-Niveau - Wir waren eine Woche in den Niramaya Villas and Spa und haben den Aufenthalt insgesamt sehr genossen. Die Anlage ist wunderschön gepflegt und sehr ruhig gelegen, die Villen sind grosszügig, privat und ideal zum Entspannen. Negativ aufgefallen ist, dass das Personal teilweise besser geschult sein könnte. Insgesamt entsprach der Service nicht ganz dem erwarteten 5-Sterne-Standard. Zudem liegt die Unterkunft etwas ausserhalb von Port Douglas, wodurch man für Ausflüge in den Ort jeweils etwas Zeit einplanen muss.
- Jessica (9/5): Very very comfortable! - The villa, sensational, the gardens! The spa was ok but it needs some love, it doesn’t feel luxurious. The restaurant and bar is poor. Service isn’t great, does not feel high end. It’s just very average. There’s a disconnect between what you pay to stay there and the standard of the accommodation and hotel staff, and then the rest of it, feels like it’s all run individually.

- Robert (8/5): Beautiful balinese style villa experience but at a price - The balinese style villa was beautiful and felt very private within the gated complex and lush tropical setting. The bed was comfortable and everything felt spacious. There were some signs of wear and tear and a few indications that cleaning and maintenance could be improved. Considering the price, everything should be immaculate and in good working order.

- Kyle (10/5): - Truly a 10/10 resort experience. The resort itself is magnificent from the showers, to the private pool, to the indoor/outdoor fountains and flowers around your villa. The beds in the villas were extremely comfortable, the closets and amenities were very large, and the showers were extremely comfortable. We spent the majority of our time in the Villa just because of how magnificent it was. I would recommend anyone staying in Port Douglas to stay here, its the nicest resort I stayed in in my life and I was able to stay for $100 USD per night split across 5 people. Far from Port Douglas and the shuttle option to the city is extremely expensive for a 7 minute drive. Make sure you have a rental car and you'll be fine!

- Margaret (9/5): Relaxing, private and although a resort had an intimate, lux vibe. - We were very impressed with the villa and gardens. The plunge pool was private and relaxing, adding that luxury quality to the open balinese vibe of the accommodation. Everything for a comfortable stay is included from washing machine, dryer to bbq. Staff were attentive and friendly. Looking forward to our next stay there. Really nothing major to complain about. A little magnified mirror with a light might be a good addition to the bathrooms, we found the light too low (for applying make up or shaving etc). The fountain just inside our front gate is loud at night. Perhaps the fountain pressure could adjusted or turned off after 10.00.

- M (8/5): - Its a great place to stay. Our villa was superbly decorated. However, the bedroom layout is detached and if you have young children it is not the best layout. We asked for a rollaway bed to be put in the master bedroom which entailed a $50 per night additional charge. When i booked it through Expedia i had provided the number of guests. We were told that Expedia did not inform us of the Nirmaya policy and had we booked directly with them we would have been advised. I have always booked through third parties and never had this experience. I have also been in Australia for 6 weeks travelling and none of the other hotels seem to have had this approach. Also, if you do not have a car or wanting room service the menu and restaurant offering is a bit limited. Overall the villas and the hotel grounds are beautiful. The staff is efficient and responsive. The atmosphere of the villas provides a peaceful set up away from the busy town atmosphere.

The villa private pool was heated and great. Villa 73, was very nice, but needs maintenance. It's looking a bit tired and outdated. It needs a few dollars spent on it to keep up with the others. Don't get me wrong, it was great, but for the cost of the rental it should have been better. The other couple we visited seemed fresher.
- rudy (10/5): Een geweldig verblijf - De bungalows zijn schitterend en prachtig gebouwd. Het park waarin de bungalows liggen is eveneens schitterend en zeer goed onderhouden. Het geheel geeft een paradijselijk gevoel. In de bungalows is alles te vinden wat je nodig hebt. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk. Het zwembad is superb. De park ligt verder van het drop af, maar met de auto goed te bereiken. Het enige dat ons tegenviel was de menukaart in het restaurant (pizza & burgers) maar er zijn voldoende goede restaurants in de omgeving.
- Peter (9/5): Gorgeous Bali-style villa within luxury hotel - We loved the design and the tranquility of the place. It was very comfortable and well stocked. Our private villa combined with luxury hotel facilities, like spa, big pool and restaurant, was ideal! An extra bonus: the hotel is near a kitesurfing and wing foiling beach, which we used a lot! The location is not walking distance to the centre of Port Douglas, one have to drive or order a shuttle bus. It was all right for us but might not be ideal for some travellers.

We were ungraded to a 3 bedroom villa when we had booked a 2 bedroom. Extremely spacious, beautiful private pool, lots of space The reception was very welcoming, restaurant food was truly delicious, absolutely 5 star quality dining and extremely reasonable .

The accommodations, the restaurant and the staff are all exceptional. The only negative was the air-conditioning in the villa we stayed in. In all 3 bedrooms it was too noisy to sleep with it on.

- Cho (9/5): An amazing resort that provided all the right comfort for our family of 12 people. - Very well kept estate with beautiful landscaping and spacious villas. Each villa is fully equipped with a full kitchen and dining room. The plunge pool was also a highlight of the stay during the hot summer afternoons. The oven didn’t seem to work at the temperature that was meant to be, resulting in a much longer time to cook our dishes…the dish washer also didn’t work but since we were leaving, we didn’t bother to get the technician to come and repair it.

- Jennifer (10/5): - The Niramaya property my partner & I spent a week away from the city bustle to relax in was beautiful! We were prepared to pay more for an Island-style getaway, and that’s exactly what we found there. The staff were welcoming and accomodating, the onsite restaurant and pool were never crowded and always delivered. We asked for a bit less noisy garden maintenance around us and the manager accommodated our request. We missed only one thing, the use of bicycles to traverse the area, including the beach and town. The third party hire scooters were expensive.

- Mark (9/5): A great relaxing environment for anyone to down tools and take a much needed break. - The villa was fantastic and the staff were very good and made us welcome right from the start. Ordering food to be delivered direct to the villa was also a nice touch. Just meant we could spend more time by our own private pool. The restaurant menu was a little restrictive. We would have liked to see an all day menu.

Wifi was not working in all the Villa and the speed was low Food in the restaurant was not good at all (at least for a French) but it was amazing to have breakfast and cook in the villa Difficult to book the SPA

- Kath (10/5): - The staff were exceptionally welcoming, providing all required information. The villas themselves were very well appointed - they were large, with private pool and spa in our villa. Our stay there was very relaxing.
- Lauren (7/5): Good - Very nice place to stay. The aircon didnt work the best but it was reasonable. The menu could have been a little more versatile, also the portion sizes were very small for the price.

Very spacious with only the best appliances and accessories - well done Breakfast was a bit ordinary, the private pool in our villa could be heated at this time of the year, another toilet in the entertainment area would have been nice

Restaurant was amazing - undersold tbh, chefs there need a pay rise as food was 10/10 Only thing was mattresses and pillows were not as comfortable or plush as other places we've stayed at. Other than that 10/10

I'll be back! - Accommodation and property are gorgeous, villas are huge and gardens are immaculate and filled with birds and butterflies. The day spa is also excellent with a good selection of treatments and tranquil rooms. The massage beds are the most comfortable I've ever had a treatment on! The menu selections at the restaurant are limited and room service is not available. Wasn't super impressed with the pillows on the bed, they were pretty uncomfortable. Some extra options stashed in a cupboard would of been good. There was also a leak in the roof in the kitchen area.
- Kylie (10/5): Fantastic place to stay. - Everything was exceptional. The landscaped gardens were beautiful. The villa was comfortable and had everything I needed. The staff were very friendly, polite and obliging. Having my own pool was great.

- Genevieve (9/5): Beautiful place, definitely our choice if we return to Port Douglas - The villa was incredible, the layout, felt relaxed and the grounds were beautiful. The staff all so helpful and lovely. So quiet and peaceful. Great location, felt like we weren’t even in Australia, yet our own little oasis. No house keeping daily

- Daniel (8/5): We love staying here because of the Villas however we won’t stay again due to the lack of decent food and service - The villas are amazing! very spacious private and comfortable! location is good and the gardens are beautiful The restaurant is terrible and the level of service is terrible. They desperately need a decent chef and some effort out into food! like other hotels people would travel to this place for food if it was quality.
