• Jason (10/5): Wonderful 5 night stay at Endeavour Lodge! - We loved our 5 night stay at Endeavour Lodge in a one-bedroom apartment. Our host - Jayleigh - was amazing & super friendly, picking us up from the airport and providing a mini-tour of amenities on our way back to check-in. Our apartment was exceptionally clean, spacious, & very quiet with all of the mod cons and amazing views! We enjoyed sitting on our balcony having coffee in the mornings, and watching the sunset every afternoon. Only a short 5 min drive back into Burnt Pine to the local supermarket, cafe's, restaurants & shops. Would highly recommend a stay at Endeavour Lodge and we look forward to returning in the future. We couldn't fault anything!

• Macpherson (9/5): - Just about everything. Clearly run by people who know what tourists need. All the little details taken care of, except below. Lack of a non stick fry pan. Weber didn't get hot enough. After 5 minutes with the lid on you could still put your hand on the hot plate.

• Patricia (8/5): Loved our time on Norfolk Island, if we ever return in the future we would definitely choose to stay in this accommodati - Location and view was amazing, spacious and well laid out apartment, phone provided to help make dinner reservations. High speed wifi was huge bonus that we didn’t expect. Sadly was there when there was 2 days of rain, whilst there was washing machine in the apartment it would have been nice to also have access to a clothes dryer.
• Karen (10/5): Fantastic views over the ocean. - The property enjoys great views over Cemetery Bay. Despite poor weather we still really enjoyed our stay. Not truly a negative, but a hire car is a necessity to make the most of your stay.

Would have been helpful to have a couple of pantry items, especially things like salt and pepper, oil for barbecue.

• Robert (10/5): Stunning Views - I’d like to rate Endeavour Lodge poorly to ensure that it was easily available for our next visit to Norfolk. But I can’t. One of the few accommodation venues with unobstructed ocean views it had all the things we needed including some we hadn’t thought of. The snorkelling equipment and its close proximity to Emily Bay made our daily swim an adventure spotting the different fish on the coral reef. A couple of BBQ meals watching the sunset on our balcony highlighted how special the location is. Breakfast at the same location turned us into budding ornithologists watching the nesting terns and noddys in the trees in the valley below. A hire car was organised by EL and was parked outside our cabin when we arrived on our shuttle from the airport. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen well appointed. Leaving.

• Gerald (9/5): A very comfortable unit with a great view. - The unit was very comfortably furnished. All equipment and linen was of good quality. They provided a picnic set, thermos and small esky which we used a few times and very much appreciated. We were picked up from the airport and the hire car was waiting for us at the unit when we arrived. All very convenient. There was a great view from the balcony. We were very comfortable and happy with our experience here. Would highly recommend. Nothing to dislike.

• Wendy (10/5): - We were met at the airport and transported to our accommodation with Jayleigh providing a super helpful commentary of places to eat, shop etc on on the way. Our hire car was waiting for us at Endeavour Lodge. We could not ask for an easier or more pleasant transition from airport to accommodation. The accommodation was exceptionally clean. Lovely touches like a jug of filtered water in the fridge, cling wrap and food storage containers make a huge difference. The thick bath sheets, huge bed and a shower head that you didn't have to run around to catch the spray were very much appreciated. Being out of Burnt Pine was lovely, nice and quite with wonderful views from the balcony. I cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough. Absolutely nothing to complain about here.

• David (10/5): Amazing, family friendly and perfectly equipped accommodation with spectacular views - Our stay at Endeavour Lodge exceeded our expectations. The photos online look amazing but even that could not prepare you for the spectacular view from the house. It was spacious, well equipped, close to everything. Our family had a wonderful stay and we would definitely stay again. I recommend it to anyone heading to Norfolk Island

Duncan met us on arrival at the airport and drove us to the apartment, providing information along the way. Our hire car was at the apartment on arrival. The apartment had everything and more for an enjoyable and relaxing holiday. Everything was spotlessly clean. The entrance to the property is along a lovely Norfolk Island pine tree lined driveway - absolutely beautiful! We look forward to staying here again on our next visit.

Lack of small amounts of provisions - eg a small amount of cooking oil (shops only carry large sizes which is too much for a week). Some furnishings were a little tired.
• Neil (10/5): A wonderful place to relax. - Our one bedroom apartment had everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable & the bathroom was a great size with high end fixtures & fittings. The shower was strong & hot. Also included in the apartment were a set of binoculars together with a bird id book, a torch & a picnic rug & containers amongst other thoughtful little things to make our stay comfortable. Norfolk Island feels very safe & we kept our bedroom door open with the fly screen door shut & let the lovely evening breeze filter through the room. Every morning while having our coffee we watched from our verandah dozens of white tern birds flying everywhere down in the gully & around the pine trees. We regretted only booking a five day stay.

• Rakesh (9/5): The Endeavour Lodge was a memorable experience in a lifetime of 100s of Hotel stays. - This is an extraordinary establishment. The owners, Duncan and Gaewyn, were simply superb - not only on practical matters concerning the stay there but in giving knowledgeable background to various aspects of Norfolk's history and social, economic and political developments. They and Carol made it a memorable stay, which I am eager to repeat again in the near future. The only reason I did not stay longer was that since I do not drive, I had to rely on a taxi. But in retrospect, that was a small inconvenience compared to everything that Endeavour Lodge has to offer.

Met at airport on arrival. Spectacular ocean views to wake up to everyday. At secluded part of island but as long as you hire a car it's perfect. Great location to start exploring Norfolk. Weather was perfect and friendly locals. Will definitely come back

We were met at the airport which was great as was the provision of a local phone and the fact that our rental car was parked at the unit. Everything that you really needed was provided including snorkels, beach towels, binoculars (so you could look at birds from your balcony). Everything was very clean and much thought had been put into how the place was equipped. Nothing!

• Yvonne (10/5): A relaxing stay in a garden setting with cows for neighbours. - We were three couples and booked a one bedroom apartment each. We got our own breakfasts, ate out for lunch and shared dinner together, after drinks on the back verandah overlooking Phillip Island as in the photo above. The apartments had enough cutlery etc for 4 but with a bit of borrowing it was easy for 6 of us to dine together in one of the apartments. Some people may find it a bit remote from shops. You do need a car.

• Margaret (10/5): Endeavour Lodge -unwind and enjoy Norfolk Island - We had a fabulous stay and enjoyed how there was no stress as were picked up from the airport, had offer of car hire that meant we had a car waiting once arrived at Endeavour Lodge. We had a great sea view and the facilities were excellent. Everything we needed to cook and store food was provided ((more than most places tend to offer). You can tell they have been in the tourism business for years as have thought of everything. Leaving a mobile for use if needed and a departure lounge for their guests in town whilst you wait for your flight home after check-out.
