• Molly (10/5): Lovely stay in a quiet neighborhood, centrally located in the heart of Lisbon! - Casa das Janelas com Vista may be one of my favorite places we have stayed worldwide – we actually stayed here twice – for two nights on the front end of our trip and returned here for our last night in Lisbon after a quick visit to Madeira. It is a renovated property in the heart of the historic city center. The rooms are finished and decorated with respect to the historic nature of the property – very chic. Room and bathroom were very clean. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. The location is also very quiet, so we could open the windows to enjoy the cool breeze all night and not be disturbed. It is also within walking distance of anywhere we wanted to go – close to main Rossio station for metro and train. The front desk and breakfast/communal areas are down a short set of stairs and rooms are up stairs. There is no elevator, but we knew that before booking and it was not an issue for us, as we did not have any overly large or heavy luggage. Breakfast was beyond expectation. A wonderful spread of fresh bread, pastries and pancakes, with sliced cheeses and turkey, hardboiled eggs or eggs cooked upon request, fresh fruit, yogurt and cereals/granola, toppings (honey, nutella, marmalade), as well as fresh squeezed orange juice, coffee, tea – anything you could want to get the day started off well. The staff were phenomenal – very friendly, attentive and accommodating. We loved everything about our stay at Casa das Janelas com Vista! Nothing – everything was perfect!

• Tobias (10/5): - Kleines Hotel mit 12 Zimmern, genau unser Geschmack, modern und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, ausgesprochen sympathisches, hilfsbereites Personal, immer eine ruhige, entspannte Atmosphäre. Man kann gut entspannen, großes Zimmer im oberen Stockwerk. Sehr liebevoll zusammengestelltes Frühstück, bei dem es an nichts fehlt. Das Hotel liegt mitten im belebten und beliebten Stadtteil Bairro Alto. Durch seine Lage in einer Seitenstraße hinter dem Krankenhaus ist es dort extrem ruhig. Für uns kann es nur Bestnoten erhalten ! Tatsächlich nichts, was uns nicht gefallen hat.

I would have to say the only thing we really did not like was the noise being in room 1. The street was loud, and anytime anyone used the front door, we could hear it open and close.

We had to cancel the last day because we wanted to be closer to the airport. We were so disappointed because we loved it. The people were so very friendly the room was lovely, the location was convenient and the breakfast was really great. I thought it was the perfect place to start our trip to Portugal. I highly recommend. There is not one thing that I didn’t like!

Friendly and helpful personnel, very nice breakfast, all day complimentary cake, tea and coffee, welcoming drink was lovely. Clean room, great service, view from room ❤️ and so on …❤️ Hotel is on higher grounds of Lusabon but uber and bolt are quite cheep. 5 eur from anywhere in center to hotel.

• Katja (10/5): Portugiesisches Kunsthandwerk meets modernes Design — für uns das perfekte Hotel für einen einwöchigen Citytrip - Liebevoll ausgestattetes und gepflegtes Haus, persönlich und supernett geführt, zentral gelegen und trotzdem total ruhig und entspannt. Wir waren in der Nebensaison da, Preis war prima. Im Souterrain befindet sich ein traumhaft schöner Aufenthaltsraum, der morgens als Frühstücksraum genutzt wird, in dem man sich aber immer aufhalten, sich einen Kaffee oder Tee kochen und ein Stück Kuchen essen kann, alles for free. Alkoholische Getränke kosten natürlich; Bar und Kühlschrank sind bestens gefüllt. Das Interior hier - und in den Zimmern - ist fantastisch, portugiesisches Kunsthandwerk und modernes Design gehen eine perfekte Symbiose ein. Selten haben wir uns in einem Hotel so wohl gefühlt.

• Binyong (10/5): Cozy place with convenience - Convenient location! We only stayed for 1 night since we had an odd connecting flight at Lisbon. We nonetheless liked the downtown Lisbon and decided to stay closer to downtown. This place did not disappoint us. The room offers great view in a quiet neighborhood, but also very close to restaurants which stayed open until midnight (in a tourism’s offseason). The hotel breakfast next morning is delicious with plenty of choices. Thanks! If I have to pick one thing, it is probably the size of the room. It is tight for two people, but it works.

Fällt mir wenig zu ein - einzig wenn man in den unteren Räumen ist, merkt man, dass die Wände und Decken sehr hellhörig sind und man hört jeden einzelnen Schritt der darüber liegenden Hotelzimmergäste.

Guests can relax in the nicely designed lobby area and use the kitchen as well. The breakfast was wonderful, not extensive, but very tasty. Coffee, tea, cake, and fruit were available complimentary throughout the day. The room was comfortable and well appointed. We very much enjoyed our stay. Some noise from other rooms.

There was a typical buffet type breakfast, they cook eggs etc if you ask. Everything in the room worked. The shower floor is very slippery. No elevator, if you have a lot of luggage, no fun. No problems at any time.

Downstairs lobby is really nice and all the complimentary drinks and fruits are nice touch. The breakfast staff was a bit unattentive and first morning we had to walk in to the kitchen and ask plates and utensils since nobody was reacting to us when we came down to have breakfast. Most of the staff in the reception was really nice and helpful though. There was not too many milk and gluten free options in the brekfast.

• Patrizia (9/5): Un luogo dove è piacevole tornare - Edificio d'epoca ristrutturato con estrema ricercatezza. La reception è in una sala comune arredata con mobili ed oggetti di design. Noi abbiamo soggiornato nella stanza più piccola che abbia mai visto, eppure era così ben progettata che non abbiamo avuto il minimo problema. La colazione è sontuosa e i ragazzi dello staff preparati, gentili e presenti con discrezione. Per tutte queste ragioni consiglio assolutamente il soggiorno alla Casa das Janelas. Niente
