But the room l got was pretty outdated, smelling from moisture and roof were full of moulds, the room was dark due exposure in front of other buildings . My friend had the same room but in well lighting room facing sunlight, and was offered a fruit as a welcome. Not me ! And he paid $100 cheaper than l what l got . A let down .

- PRITESH (8/5): Overall nice - Stayed in the junior suite. Looks nice on the outside but so many little things were poor. The shower faucet was falling off the wall. The overhead shower would leak for over a day before it would stop when using the wand. Half the electrical outlets didn't work. With 2 TVs back to back, the remote would turn on or tune bith TVs. Tv content quality was SD at best. The lobby smelled like rubbing alcohol and the elevator buttons would push into the wall. Balcony lights would not work, and AC is only in the bedroom. Not in the living room area Good stuff - cozy bed, hot shower, good fridge, excellent location to the beach. Generally a quiet location. Super nice staff too

Nice bedroom design with balcony with nice view of the ocean, Koh lan and beautiful sunset. Extremely convenient location, big 7-Eleven on the beach, nice Sand Cafe with wide choice of food all within a 2 minutes walk. Located on very quiet street with very little car or motorbike circulation.

- Peter (6/5): - This looks like it was a beautiful hotel once upon a time, but under new owners Best Western, it is worn down and in need of a desperate rehab. The lobby is very nice but deceiving, because the rooms are old and in rough shape. The water pressure and temperature were extremely inconsistent. The AC in the rooms did not work well. Our group had 5 rooms, and all were substandard. Also found bugs on the beds and in the rooms. It was in a nice area with lots to do.

Great night market nearby with great food. What I'd call the nicer part of Pattaya and a great break away from Bangkok. The hotel is modern and room spacious and well decorated, booked a suite and loved the space and comfort.

- PATRICK (2/5): Fuyez cet hôtel !! - Je ne comprends pas le classement de cet hôtel et que Best Western l'accepte dans son groupe !! Il est vieux, usé, sale et n'est pas insonorisé. La clim (qui pulse en face du lit) est hors d'âge, sale (microbes) et impossible de régler la température, du coup rhume assuré.Tromperie totale !! Séjour de 3 nuits horrible ! Attention ! Il y a 2 bâtiments dont 1 avec une entrée glauque qui donne l'accès à des suites (c'est ce que nous avions réservé) La piscine en roof top est également très vieille et dégradée. Qualité de l'eau douteuse (lichen contre les paroies) et clientèle Russe très bruyante. Tables, chaises et transats datent de nombreuses années, sans confort... Bref fuyez cet hôtel indigne d'une chaîne renommée et qui devrait être banni des sites de réservation.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Kamalin uimallas - Huone hiljainen parvekkeilla bileet iltaisin. Uimallas vesi ei vaihdu niin sakeaa että ei näe edes 15cm metrin syvyydessä olevaa porrasta. Joinain päivinä vesi oli vähän parempi kun siellä oli pumppu joka kierrätti vettä altaan reunalla. Allas pyyhkeitä ei ollut aina tarjolla ja aurinko tuolit oli varattu jo aamu 9 eteen päin ja ketään ei niillä näkynyt ja henkilökunta ei siivonnut pyyhkeitä koko päivänä. Hotellin aula tosi hieno. Huoneen kivilattia oli kylmä ja suihkussa jotain vihreää kasvustoa.

Das Frühstück war eher asiatisch, aber es gab immer frisches Obst und eine kleine Auswahl an Gebäck. Für mich als Raucher war es schade dass man am Balkon nicht rauchen durfte und somit immer vors Hotel gehen musste.

I restaurangen finns ett akvarium med två hajar. Utanför en bassäng med Koi fiskar. Trevligt pool området. Pool personalen dock väldigt långsam och man fick leta efter dem till och från. En sak vi tycker är märkligt är att rummet inte blev städat förrän kl 16:30. Det är i senaste laget när man är på semester. Man förväntar sig att städningen ska göras under förmiddagen och vara klar senast 13.

The reception staff were excellent and extremely helpful but the staff in the roof bar were very slow and it took ten mins just to get a drink despite being relatively quiet. Food on the roof top was nice but expect to wait fourty mins for it. I would definitely stay there again despite its little downfalls.

Our room was luxurious, the location is fantastic. A short walk to the beach, restaurants, or markets. We will be returning to make more fantastic memories!
- Mark (6/5): A decent if slightly tired hotel. - Positives: 1. Pratumnak is away from the mayhem of Pattaya but close enough to get there if that’s for you. Nice quiet area, good restaurants and cafes. 2. Located very close (1 min) to the beach (and it’s a nice beach). 3. Rooftop pool area is good, pool though not large is big enough and always beds available. 4. Beautiful Yamaha Baby Grand in lobby and nice aquariums (2) with small sharks swimming during breakfast. Negatives: 1. The hotel is VERY tired and in need of refurbishment. Almost moved inside an hour of being in the room. Not 5 star, probably struggles for 4 stars. For example, constant problems with the lifts not working, decor in rooms is old, bathroom fittings worn and a few chipped tiles etc….Just felt all a bit tired. 2. Breakfast - standard omelette took 20 mins to cook! Was tasty but 20 mins??!! 2nd day went out for breakfast locally (much better). Sea view? Erm…well yep from the pool. From the rooms it’s miles off and across some ugly barren ground first. (3) 1000thb deposit taken against your plastic room key!!!! Not that you’d keep it but what a cheap “trick”. Very silly. Close enough to walk or short Bolt to Jomtien. Good bars locally though better in Jomtien. Overall - very average - much better options locally.

- Milan (10/5): - Highly recommend. Friendly staff. Clean. Modern. Close to beach and nice restaurants. Peaceful restful sleep

- Davis (2/5): - You get what you pay for with this hotel. The location is perfect and about 5 minutes of leisurely walk to the beach. The hotel room on the contrary is quite dirty though and smells like they are masking mold with cologne. I was going to rate this stay with 3 stars even with the room being like such but, there is this bell boy there that made our stay very annoying. He kept offering transportation/ tours and was very pushy about it even after being told NO many times. Although the people at the front desk were very professional and nice, our stay was ruined because of this bell boy.
- yvon (2/5): - Poor breakfast, dirty hallway, second building outdated empty hold furniture in the lobby area musty smell. Staff super nice and accommodating!
- Dennis (10/5): - We stayed here 7 nights. Overall a very nice property. The wifi in our room was poor, but it seemed to be unique to our room - maybe a bad router. Otherwise everything was good. It is a convenient location to the beach and food options. The breakfast buffet is a good price with good options.
- Shaun (10/5): - Amazing property for the price. Only thing is you need to put the “please make up my room” sign outside your door each day. This place has sea views from most rooms and the rooftop pool bar and restaurant is amazing. Over the top value for money in a nicer and quieter section of Pattaya (family friendly)

- George (8/5): - Really beautiful place, modern design, and staff was very friendly. Only complaint was of some poor quality of cleaning in the bedroom. There was an obvious stain on the wall where someone spilled something nasty that housekeeping just overlooked. But rest of the place was well kept.

- saradixon1964 (10/5): Simply amazing with great staff & facilities. We will return. - My husband & I have been travelling around Thailand for the last 3 months. We have stayed in 10 different locations & this hotel has been the best by far. We compared it to a top London hotel for quality of rooms, restaurant & the pool area, but also for the high standards of all the members of staff we met. At this point we would like to say a personal thank you to Toh (ass manager) for his professional, friendly & helpful manner & also to Las (front desk) who both made our stay more memorable. Both spoke great English which was a great help. Originally we booked for a 2 night stay in a double deluxe room which was wonderful. On arrival we had a couple of small issues like no bath plug & a phone that wasn’t working properly - both issues were sorted within minutes of letting them know. We were let down by our next accommodation so Toh agreed a deal on a beautiful suite for a further 4 days. This was pure luxury & a life saver at the same time. They say “ You will come as a guest & leave as family” this could not be more true! Thank you to Toh , Las & all the team at The Sanctuary Hotel….YOU WILL BE SEEING US AGAIN 😍 Sara & Mark Dixon UK
- 484bj_rnm (4/5): Silly hotell rules - The only hotel I visited that require vaccine pass for check in !! I explained that this is no rules from the Thai government, but they insist that it was.....I stay in Thai hotels all around Thailand a lot ! Never meet this kind of regulation and the staff told me lies about these kind of "rules". A SHA hotel means all about the hotel, staff, food, cleaning, vaccination...its not about the guests ! So they really not understand what a SHA hotel really means. Silly and useless information and rules, they simply not get it. If the staff not understand, they need to check it out for more relevant information, and not deny the facts
