Adam (6/5): Overnighter in Mallaig - Good sized king suite with lovely sea views. Free onsite parking was appreciated. The restaurant food was excellent. Nice bar lounge to relax after dinner. Breakfast and options offered was very good. There was a whisky glass with some brown substance under the towel radiator in the bathroom, which looked like it had been there for some time. The bathroom sink was partially blocked. The bathroom bin was broken. We feel the staff required some training in customer service etiquette as an improvement observation as some hospitality behaviours were a little unprofessional. We also feel for the overall experience, the room was overpriced for the level of quality with no breakfast included.

David (6/5): - Reasonably well situated and a nice wee bar. The room was tired in terms of decor and the TV was exceptionally poor. Pricing wasn't great, £125 for a small Single Room in mid May is a bit strong. Would I stay again? In a word, no.
Richard (5/5): Perfect location to catch a ferry to Skye and that’s it’s only attraction - General standard of the hotel- the need for refurbishment. Everything is tired. The staff were ok but not professional. I paid £247 far too expensive for the facilities, staff and overall quality of the hotel.

Neil (8/5): Nice room let down by details. - Location excellent with sea views at the front and harbour plus hill views at the rear. The bedroom was classified as cozy but was quite adequate and the en suite was a generous size. The TV reception was almost useless, mainly because the internal arial could not be placed on the window sill because the coax lead was too short. Also, the bedside light bulb was so weak it was impossible to read using it. Fortunately sunset was quite late so it wasn't a huge inconvenience.

Martin (4/5): Could have been better with a bit of attention to detail - Breakfast plates for hot food were cold - very annoying but an easy no cost fix for the hotel. Several items ran out and were not replenished in 10-15 minutes- perhaps need more breakfast staff. This is what I didn’t like.

Complained to staff, but nothing was done about it. Very dissatisfied and really expensive for a room without a working shower or tv. Concerned that a child or elderly guest could get burned. NOT ACCEPTABLE.
Albert Bouma (4/5): - Gemakkelijke locatie vlak voor de ferry naar Isle of Skye (als die gaat, tip: ruim van te voren checken), mooi uitzicht op ondergaande zon. Vloerplanken van de kamer boven ons kraken enorm, alsof het in je eigen kamer is. Dunne gordijnen dus smorgens al heel vroeg licht. Kleine douche cabine. Personeel niet echt vriendelijk.
hirsthirst (8/5): lovely comfortable hotel in a great spot above Mallaig village - lovely hotel, very comfortable. lounge, bar, restaurant and outside terrace (and sea views from each) all great. staff very accommodating & friendly, particularly Duty Manager Fraser who went out of his way to make our one-night stay as smooth as possible. guests who have difficulty walking should note there is no lift to rooms on first / second floors, and the hotel is located up a short but fairly steep hill from the village centre.

Rosslyn (6/5): Good spot for a quick over night stay, but for a longer break you might be disappointed. - The property was in a great spot in the centre of the town, a really useful stop over for the ferries when they are running. The room was clean and tidy and the staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Sadly the property has seen better days, it was tired throughout.

Comparing to other stays at this hotel we were disappointed with service. No parking spaces, no access to lounge or bar area. Breakfast was poorly staffed! Had to go looking for staff! Also residents communal areas not really cleaned up after event! We would not have booked this hotel if we had know about this local event!

The apartment was fabulous, very modern, nicely heated, had everything we needed, fridge, kitchen area, decent hot shower, robes and slippers, hot tub was clean and a decent temperature. The food was really good too, we had dinner and breakfast and both were fantastic! The main hotel and King Suite is a little dated and could do with a bit of a spruce up i.e broken bins, leaking radiator, internal lock in room didn’t work. But everything else was fabulous!

Ez kellemes volt :) Meredek volt a két emelet megmászára, és szűk volt a folyosó. Tény, hogy tájékoztattak előre arról, hogy lépcsőzni kell, Szerencsés lenne egy hívogató cégtábla kihelyezése a bejárat jelzésére.

Robert (7/5): A comfortable and welcoming hotel with all the basics right, I would be happy to return - The hotel is conveniently located with good views. The room was comfortable and well appointed, with a good bed and shower. The restaurant for dinner was pleasant, the food was good and the bar and lounge areas were comfortable and welcoming. Having breakfast as an extra to pay for was a downside. I ate out because a good breakfast was available nearby for half the price

Sherry (5/5): Some staff are not welcoming/helpful. Facilities are clean and nice. Arrive early to get parking. - Room and view from room was nice. Young man serving breakfast was friendly as well as male hotel manager. Some staff simply should not interface with guests. Older woman at breakfast made me feel like I was being reprimanded for not having a breakfast reservation when I was a paying guest. No one ever said I needed a reservation. Same goes for dinner at the hotel. Both times we needed a parking space but none were available at the hotel or on the street or surrounding streets. Hotel should monitor parking giving guests a parking space assignment and posting signs that parking is only for guests.
James (5/5): Mallaig was good but hotel poor - Location Low Bedroom lighting, beds that dip in the middle, shower too small , staircase carpet threadbare & failure to service room.
Daniel (10/5): Vet nice stay - We stayed one night at this hotel. We were upgraded to a suite with a hot tub. We wished had stayed another night as it was such a nice room.
