• Donna (9/5): Overnight stay. Loved the decor! - Beautiful, cozy, steps to the beach! It was very peaceful. Check in was a little confusing but got through that with good customer service from the main hotel. More information about where to park would have been helpful. I had to move my vehicle because you park in the spot that is your room number and I didn’t know that. Plus the parking spot for room 9 isn’t marked so I was kinda upset about how the maintenance person made me feel when he was telling me to move my jeep. But past that, the place is awesome! I would totally stay again!

• GM (4/5): Get someone to fix the mold smell. Good location. - Location We stayed 1st night and the 1st room smelled of a strong oder of mildew/mold. We arrived late and it rained hard that night. The door wasn’t properly fitted, with obvious crack around door. We stayed in town for another night and went back to give it a 2nd try with same outcome. We ask to stay in another room which was just the next door down and it was no better. The smell of mildew/mold and still the noise. While the room is setup fine and looks ok. 2nd night we had to park across street and across has still not be renovated since the hurricane. After arriving back home and hugging our children my daughter immediately said you smell like mold and all of our children agreed. My shirt and my showered hair smelled awful and I felt stuffy for a few days after. Even after getting home and washing clothes and re showering our hair still smelled.

• Casey (8/5): - The view of the beach is fantastic and there are some lounge chairs and umbrellas. The beach is sand and broken shells, you really need water shoes to walk comfortably on the beach and in the water. Also be aware you have to go by car to get food, drink and shopping. Casey Key is residential which is why it was more quiet.

• sandra (2/5): - Even though I paid through Expedia for this property, the people called me and asked for a credit card number for incidentals and I said y’all don’t even have incidentals and they said well in case anything is damaged. Then this morning they called and said did you have a dog and I said yes I did like everybody else And they said I owed them another hundred dollars and I said well I’m not going to pay it and then they said well, we’ll just charge you 50 and I said I already paid through Expedia. I found an office nearby and it looked like it belonged to the rest of the building and the lady told me that they copied her Hotel. He’s is Casey key resort and the people across the street put an S on the end and called Casey Key resorts and have been taking some of her business. • Gladys (10/5): - What a great stay. Right on the beach and beautiful. I was happy to find chairs and umbrellas for us to use while relaxing on the beach. It was quiet and relaxing. Highly recommend. The room was clean and comfortable. No frills but perfect for a getaway! My only issue would be the door handle into the room was very temperamental and often hard to get in or out but that didn’t deter from the amazing stay.

• Cindy (10/5): - The property was beautiful and nicely kept. It had a hammock, mini put put and lawns chair with umbrellas. Each room had a mini patio area designated with chairs and a side table. The check in was easy by registering online with your car info for parking permit and we got instructions via text with code to the lock box by the door. The decor was beautiful. It had a decent size mini fridge with a freezer, pod coffee maker and microwave. Just steps off the private beach were the sunset was spectacular. Will be returning in the future.

We used the hammock with the ocean view. Putted around on the green. Used the provided umbrellas and chairs. Overall great stay.

Added nice touches for our special trip. The room in general was very fresh and inviting. As I conveyed in my direct review to property… it would be a very close to perfect little place if they would install quieter air conditioning. Though all else was great, it was very hard relaxing with the constant on/ off and noise level. ( I might also add that a “lip” around the “flat to the floor” shower stall would help… water moved out into the floor… )

Once I’m in I’m Already tired and exhausted… to realized the room I book with “patio” and beachfront had none. Very disappointed Otherwise love the beach access. I usually go there to work and have a smooth stay.

The fan ceiling fan in our room made an atrocious noise so we couldn’t sleep with the fan on so I was up and down all night because I require a fan and it got a little hot

• Kimberly (10/5): Would absolutely come back again thankyou - Being right on the beach, sunset was amazing. Umbrellas and lounge chair's right on the beach set up for us. The staff was so friendly, especially Steve who celebrated his 70th birthday during our stay there. Room 1 was our original assigned room, it was so small, 2 people couldn't fit between end of bed and table set up with the coffee, condiments etc. While we were on the beach, as we just arrived, there was a problem with the cesspool and not only was the problem solved immediately, they moved us to room 4 and wow room was so much larger.

• Tyler (3/5): It’s basically just a bed to sleep in for too much money - Didn’t get breakfast cause it was not at the same location and wasn’t told where to get it. The WiFi didn’t work at all. The room was very small for the cost. The refrigerator wasn’t very cold. Wasn’t told how to get into the room besides from others that were staying there. The soap dispenser holders fell apart as soon as you touch them. The check in time was very late and the check out time was very early. I would not suggest it to anyone
• Chris (4/5): Expensive room that faces ocean is by common area and the room was dirty. Won't return. - The building is on the beach so accessibility to the water is fantastic. There wasn't anyone there to assist with check-in. The adjacent property has virtually the same name so it was confusing to figure out where to go. We paid extra for one of the 2 rooms that faced the ocean. The listing failed to mention that the area outside the door is a common area. People walked by while we were in the room and there were other people sunbathing. I envisioned being able to sit in bed and see the ocean with a private area directly in front of the room but that was hardly the case. That aside, there are shrubs that block the view from the bed anyway. You can appreciate the skyline, just do so prepared that anyone could walk by and look directly into your room. The room was dirty. Really dirty. See the pics. For the price I paid (around 900) this should have been a high end room. Instead, is was Motel 6 like.

• David (10/5): - We stayed in the deluxe Oceanview room, it was very nice. The bedding was comfortable. A small fridge, microwave and k-cup coffee was provided. The outside area was well taken care of and upkept. There were chairs and umbrellas conveniently located to use on the beach. Cleaner came each day to see if you needed anything. Thoroughly enjoyed staying here!
• Kelli (10/5): - Check in was all done by text that they initiated the day of arrival. I had a code to get in which was so easy. Parking was right in front of the building. The room was as pictured and clean. My only comment would be the remodel quality is not what I would expect for the price I paid - I was clearly done too quick with a lack of attention to detail with a missing deadbolt latch and things like drywall anchors with nothing in them. But the room was fine- tile work was nice, furniture was clean, and despite it seeming to be fully booked all three nights it was quiet with no disruptions to our sleep from neighbors. The location couldn’t be better. Right on the beach but a little away from the public area. Our room was not ocean view, but it still had chairs to sit outside and its steps away from the beach no matter which room you’re in here. I would definitely stay here again.

• Anitra (6/5): - This location is great and the condo is aesthetically cute but there is an overwhelming mold smell throughout the space and bedding. The smell was even in our clothes after we left. I assume the odor is coming from the wall mounted air unit, the “clean filter” light is illuminated and visor is extremely strong like the pink mold that grows in showers in humid areas. The space has been recently remodeled, but quick and dirty - all fixtures were hung with drywall anchors and are crooked or falling out (hand towel ring, towel bars). The bathroom vanity is too big for the space so the bathroom door can not be open if the vanity drawer is being used. There is also no counter space and toiletries have to be placed on the toilet or in the other room. The floor was dirty with sand and actual dirt. But it is cute and close to the beach. Ultimately we could not stay another night due to the overwhelming mold odor.

Could have given more of an insight of the local restaurants- not chains. More information on your other locations and amenities it has (was in need of a spa would have been happy to go to the hotel one) I thought I had booked a room over looking the water, felt a little misled when it was a view if u stood at the angle at the end of the bed. The door lock is a little wonky as well

We got room 11 and it was as on the parking lot across from a public bathroom. I booked a room with a courtyard view and a patio. Every room had one except room 11 :(
• Yvette (9/5): Lovely beach getaway. - So close to the ocean, comfy bed, nice space. Very quiet. Family-oriented and chill. Perfect for a beach getaway. There was a smell of moisture in the room. Also the pillows were very flat. Not a dealbreaker, but we wished there had been a small table or something to take our meals in the room.

Beach was great with lounge chairs. We drove to resort mainland and had a delicious complimentary breakfast. We would love to stay again.
• Mike (10/5): Perfect location right on the beach. Staff was very attentive and quick to respond to any needs. - The breakfast was great.. It was a little bit of a drive. but so is everything around there. The refrigerator in our room wasn't very cold.
• Matthew (6/5): Check-in not good - Just stayed one day to do some fishing. Everything was good except for the check-in process. No one was in the office at 4:00 on a Wednesday. The main phone number was a voice mail and texting got no response. I finally saw a number in small print on my receipt and reached a human who gave me the code to enter the room. A lot of work to simply check in.

Door sticky and we could not enter twice but FINALLY were told of a key in the lock box outside our door. Ants in room, a roach, just felt unparalleled to the cost! Otherwise, it would be a very nice property.

• Robert (10/5): - This property was a perfect getaway. You are literally right on a private beach. Nokomis beach is right down the road or beach. North jetty for fishing. We saw manatees swimming right down the beach. This was an amazing stay in an amazingly beautiful area of south Florida. I cant wait to return. My only regret is not staying here longer.

• Kai (4/5): Disappointing - Close to the beach Instead of courtyard view, our room had view at a toilet (you can hear it flushing from your bed) and vending machine, as well as street view. We were provided a wrong check in code, the property was unreachable until booking.com helped out. We waited 1.5 hours to receive a new code and check in. No apology, no response on any messages or emails, no refund offered.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Call the room you want before booking - The check in was not fast at all. Code wouldn't work so had to call. Room was not what we expected & does not match the pictures. We paid for the garden veiw & we got the room in the corner of the building facing the parking lot and the ice room machine with the guest bathroom so it was very noisey. There was also dirty handprints on the door with marks on the wall and lots of dust underneath the bed. We asked for a refund for not getting what we expected & they did not give that to us.
• Glen (8/5): Check in was a little rough for business stay. - Checking in was a little rough because it was for business, and we had a credit card on file through Hotels.com. My office and I worked with Nicole to get a credit card authorization on file for the stay directly before employee could check in. Thankfully we could get this done because although we were out of office other employees were working (this would have been a fiasco if that wasnt the situation). Employee enjoyed the studio style room for the night and said location directly on beach was nice.

• Tony (4/5): - The property is advertised as Beachfront my husband and I traveled to the hotel from about 2hrs away for our kid free weekend getaway we arrived and realized that our room was in a small corner and there was no courtyard view or beach view the room was not at all what we expected. We immediately called the helpline and explained to them that it was not what we expected and we didn’t use the room and we were not going to stay. They refused to do anything to accommodate us. The GM said he would lose because he didn’t know if he could rent the room again. No refund not even partial. Nor would they let me change my reservation to a later date as we didn’t want to waste our only kid free weekend somewhere that wasn’t at all what we expected. As a gold member my husband and I travel a lot and I’ve never experienced such low levels of customer service.
