I arrived well before check-in time but my room was ready and they let me right in and also gave me a free upgrade to a larger room. I would definitely stay here again. Nothing.
• DayTrip44474495012 (10/5): If you want to really experience Paris, go to Hotel Mistral in Montparnasse. - Hotel Mistral exceeded our expectations! The staff treat you like family. The breakfast is so delicious, and the location is perfect if you want to have an authentic Paris experience. The Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame areas are filled with tourists. Montparnasse, where Hotel Mistral is located is "real" Paris. The best restaurants, bars, bakeries, and history! We walked around all the well-known neighborhoods in Paris–Le Maris, Montmartre, Saint Germain des Pres–all nice, but I would go back to Montparnasse. I loved Rue Daguerre; my favorite street in the one week I was in Paris.
• 891jeanineg (10/5): Charming Breakfast Room Hostess - The Hotel Mistral is my favorite hotel in Paris. It's a short walk from Montparnasse out the side door to Halls 1 and 2, they welcome me warmly and treat me very well. The rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms spacious. Many times they have held my luggage for me during the day and they always see me to the street which is very gracious. I especially like the breakfast room and look forward to seeing the charming hostess who lights up the room with her sweet personality.
• Robert (10/5): Hotel Mistral exceeded our expectations! - We had a room facing the courtyard. By the second night, my wife and I both commented about how quiet and peaceful the hotel was. And it always smelled so fresh and clean, like freshly baked bread! I loved that I could go down to the dining area, any time day or night, and have a variety of coffee drinks–from American coffee to cappuccinos and a variety of drinks from wine, beer, and juices. And everything you read about Hotel Mistral's breakfast is so true–there is a wide variety of breads and croissants, fresh fruits (the best strawberries I have ever eaten in my life), cheese and more!. All served by the charming Nicole and her staff! For me, one of the best things about Hotel Mistral is the staff. They are all incredibly kind, but I want to express my sincere thanks to Fernando, Marc, and Eve. They were always so helpful and caring. They treat you like family. And by the way, the hotel website includes pictures of the staff! Never seen that before. We were sad to leave. Location: 10! We walked around almost every neighborhood, from the Right Bank to the Left–Montmartre, Le Marais, St Germain–all nice, but I would go back to Montparnasse every time. One of my favorite streets in Paris is Rue Daguerre–it is a famous street that runs almost parallel to Hotel Mistral. If you want to hang around the tourist areas, like Eiffel Tower or Notre Dame, you will not have an authentic "Paris" experience. However, Montparnasse is really cool! From Rue Daguerre to Montparnasse Boulevard there are so many excellent restaurants, bars, bakeries, stores and history!. We didn't go but the hotel is down the street from the famous Catacombs. Finally, it is conveniently located near a Metro that could get you to any part of the city in no more than thirty minutes. Also, you can take the train from Charles de Gaulle airport to a station that is a ten minute walk to hotel. (I wish the US had a Metro system like Paris.) The weather. There was always some time during the day or night when it was raining for a short while. I was hoping mid May would be warmer. When the sun was shining at 55 it was heaven, but then a pop-up downpour had you grabbing a sweater and an umbrella–C'est la vie. However, Hotel Mistral supplies free umbrellas and trustworthy weather reports.

• TwoSedonaBums (10/5): Quality hotel with location that is closest to enjoying real Parisian life - First of all Mistral is very clean & comfortable with a friendly and attentive staff. It is also a great value for medium to longer says. But it's the location that really shines. Most of the time I would not stay close to a major train station, but that rule SHOULD be ignored near Gare Montparnasse, since this is a safe business and residential area. We took complete advantage of nearby high-speed rail and Metro to get everywhere everyday. And every evening our stroll at RUE DAGUERRE plunged us into the local village-like atmosphere. The sidewalk cafe terraces, artisan shops, and neighborhood shopkeepers who’ve been in the area for decades, reveal a Paris that’s a bit more intimate and quiet. This will always be our base for future visits.

Chegamos antes do horário do Check-in e pudemos deixar nossas malas, além de termos sido recebidos com chá/café e croissants. Achei o quarto um pouco barulhento, a acústica dos alojamentos não eram boas, a gente conseguia ouvir as pessoas andando nos corredores e o barulho dos outros quartos dava pra ser ouvido do nosso, isso foi a noite toda. Porém não dava pra ouvir o barulho da rua, o que já é muito bom.

• L4573BCdavidk (10/5): A great hotel visit while in Paris - We loved our six night stay at the Hotel Mistral. The quality was great for the price. The rooms are typically small as most Parisian hotels, but it was functional and we never felt cramped and had ample room. The bathrooms were clean, modern and nice. The showers were hot which was a bonus. The best thing about the stay is the staff - everyone was so friendly and helpful. The location is convenient to several metro lines and bus routes, but the street itself that the hotel is located is not very busy and you will have no issues with noise. As most of our tours were in the morning, we did purchase the breakfast option and we found it to be pleasant. If you have more time there are several boulangeries nearby to grab breakfast from as well. If you need a taxi to the airport their front desk till arrange everything from a reputable company at the flat rate. We hope to return soon to the Hotel Mistral.

• Marcio (9/5): A discreet and elegant Parisian stay that delivers more sophistication than many luxury hotels. - Despite being a 3-star hotel, it offers everything one truly needs. The property is very clean, minimalistic, and carries a sense of history. It is completely unpretentious, yet conveys a level of sophistication that is often difficult to find even in luxury hotels. The staff were exceptionally friendly, the food was very good, and the breakfast felt genuinely Parisian. The garden in the backyard is particularly charming, with colourful flowers and elegant seating. Everything is simple, but executed with great taste and refineme Nothing of significance. For those accustomed to larger luxury hotels, the scale and amenities are more modest, but this is entirely consistent with the concept and does not detract from the experience.

• FruWi (10/5): Very nice hotel - Lovely hotel, great location, great service, great breakfast and so on. The only downside was the room size (quite small), and the fact that the bathroom had a sliding door that didn't close properly. But that's not enough to keep us from coming back soon!

J'ai aimé la mise à disposition des journaux, la cafetière et la bouilloire dans la chambre. Peut être le bruit de la vaisselle lorsque les jeunes filles débarrassent le petit déjeuner.

• Pamela (8/5): An amazing stay, enjoyed the area the hotel was in & staff were so lovely. - Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice. Just sorry we didn't order it every morning as the local restaurants didn't compare. The room/bathed was very small. It had everything we needed but would have been better if larger. It was a bit cramped.

• Norma (9/5): A pleasant, 3 star hotel that I will return to when I stay in this area. - Super friendly staff and so helpful. Loved the room , shower, and they even have wash cloths , which gives it a 5 star for me. So many hotels in Paris (come here a lot) do not have wash cloths, so you have to go out and buy one. Location is great for Gare Montparnasse, and one street away are lots of nice restaurants and businesses. Maybe a bit farther from Blvd St Germain area, but lots of buses or metro if you aren't a walker- like me. Nothing really.
