- Funny Suk-Fun (7/5): It's ok and can be improved. - The room is nice and spacious. Beds are comfortable. Access to the Mall downstairs was helpful though the mall is relatively "basic" without many choices of restaurants/shops. Check in was efficient and directions provided clearly. Room can be cleaned more properly. The cutlery was rather "dirty" (stains on tea cups), and were not cleaned every day after usage. There was a "concierge" (a young man at the desk) but he was just standing there, no greetings, no smiles. WIFI is a problem, rather unstable. The wall USBs in one of the rooms didn't work at all despite the repairman coming up and trying to fix it. Location - we called cabs but most of the time, the drivers found it difficult to get to exactly where we were (as they stopped usually at the Office side). Windows are very dirty (seems a problem with Ascott Raffles hotels as we had the same opinion having also stayed in Ascott Chongqing!) so views are "compromised" (but to be fair, they had a note in room saying there were workmen cleaning outside though we didn't see any during our stay).

- Darya (8/5): Плюсов все же больше ☺️ - Прекрасное расположение, прямой выход в ТРЦ. Кофейни, свежайшие булочки. Отличные магазины, классные супермаркеты, фуд-корты. Совсем рядом станция метро. Номера требуют реновации, но постели идеально чистые. Размер апартаментов отличный, есть кухня. Это прекрасный бонус, особенно с маленькими детьми. В номерах есть все необходимое. Персонал отзывчивый, быстро реагируют, вежливые и сильно нам помогли, когда заболел ребенок. В целом, я довольна. Несмотря на некоторые минусы, плюсы все же перекрывают недочеты. По приезду нам предоставили грязный номер, в санузлах чей-то волос прямо на унитазе. Сильно уставшая мебель, требует реновации. Но ребята молодцы, номер заменили. Стало сильно чище. Уборка номеров есть, но сильно не заморачиваются с мытьем полов, оставляют грязь и в носках ходить по номеру не вариант. Завтрак не понравился, скудный ассортимент. Практически нет мяса и еда специфическая. Мы купили все необходимое в супермаркете и готовили на кухне.
- Katharina (7/5): Gutes Familienzimmer im Zentrum - Betten und Bad waren sauber. Großes Familienzimmer. Gutes und umfangreiches Frühstück. Mall mit guten Restaurants direkt am Hotel. Wichtig: Badekappe für Pool mitnehmen. Zimmer sind teilweise etwas abgenutzt. Flecken an Türen, Schränken etc. Wie gesagt: Betten und Bad war sauber, aber ansonsten werden die Zimmer mäßig gepflegt (siehe Beispielfotos).
- HUAI HSIEN (5/5): 回国探亲加旅游，前前后后住了快两周。总的说来都满意，只是最后这次入住的时候总闻到房间里面有下水道的气味，换了房间也还是有。因为旅途太累了就不想再折腾了，所以就将就住了一晚就离开了。希望酒店方能多多改进。 -

Die Mall direkt unter dem Hotel und die Ubahn direkt in der Nähe waren hilfreich Wir sind eine Familie von 3. Wir hatten die Familiensuite gebucht. Dennoch waren viele Gegenstände und Utensilien nur für 2 Personen vorhanden (2 Stühle am Esstisch, 2 Gläser, Besteck für 2 etc.). Handtücher gab es aber für 3 Personen.

- DuFFi_SK (10/5): Very good hotel built on the shopping mall - Clean and spacious family themed room with two separate areas (bedrooms with bathrooms connected in the middle with living room). Hotel is build literally on the shopping mall and is connected right from the reception to the shops, which was great. Breakfast on the highest floor were tasty, with perfect view. Swimming pool was warm and nice (opened until 10 pm). They cleaned room every day, but if you skipped some day(s), there were "prices" for children available. The wifi was working great (much better then in other hotel in China), the staff was polite and speak little bit english. We were leaving late, so we left our luggage for 10 hours on the reception, which was not problem at all. Hotel was somewhere between the main Chengdu areas - 10-15 minutes by taxi to the center, and 10-15 minutes to the other side to the new business center with twin towers, global center and bamboo fountains. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Slightly higher price, but I think its ok considering the quality of the accommodation.

- Zuzah (9/5): - Our family of 2 adults & 5 children thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ascott Chengdu. The hosts were super accomodating and helpful whenever we needed help. The breakfast was amazing with lots of choices we loved, and Lisa (one of the breakfast waitresses) came to greet our family and help out every single morning. Our apartment was comfortable, spacious, quiet, and well-stocked with necessities, including high-quality kitchen appliances and pots and pans. The location was central and convenient, although there were not many parks in walking distance. The pool and children's play room were great and we used it many times. Our children enjoyed collecting the pandas they gave for skipping the room cleaning service. It was easy to get groceries or a quick meal downstairs in the mall that is in the same building. We found it to be a very family-friendly and accomodating hotel and would love to be back.

- Yushi (10/5): Buen hotel tanto para turismo como para business - Las habitaciones son muy grandes, con buenas vistas, y cuentan normalmente con lavadora y cocina. El colchón es bastante firme que es algo que siempre buscamos. El servicio es muy rápido y te regalan todas las botellas de aguas que quieras (lo que es importante dado que el agua de grifo en China no es directamente potable). El hotel está situado directamente encima del centro comercial Raffles City, lo que da muchas comodidades. También tiene cerca a la línea 1 de metro (que conecta los lugares turísticos principales de la ciudad).

- Jan (7/5): Great base with lots of space - The size of the deluxe apartment and two rooms great for family stay. There is also a washing machine and dishwasher (although no dishwasher detergent provided). Nice, well sized bathrooms. Good location for visiting all top Chengdu attractions- don’t skip the local Wuhou district strict and Yulin St. Lots of local flavour for breakfast but plenty Western options to keep everyone happy. No in-room dining available for lunch/ dinner- Meituan is tricky for non Chinese speakers to use so you need to rely on eating in the mall (which does at least have a good range and also small supermarket). The swimming pool is kept at 29C - ok for fitness but not for relaxation. There is a sauna, steam room but you have to heat this in advance if switched off, didn’t feel like waiting around in Dec. Some areas of the apartment could do with deep clean but others were ok. Kitchen floors in apartment were not routinely cleaned as part of daily room clean so our kid’s small spills stayed sticky. These negative aspects are minor but added up to a bit of disappointment given expectations to rest and relaxation.

- Alan (8/5): Great stay except for one major flaw - The room is massive and it’s at a prime location with easy access to the Raffles City mall and train station nearby. On one hand, the property is really clean. All surfaces are spotless including the sofa. Most of the bathrooms are also spotless. But there are massive amount of mould or grime in the grout of both shower (one big one in particular). I literally feel nauseous from seeing them and have to look elsewhere. I avoided using that shower for the rest of the stay.
