- Concepcion (4/5): So disappointing! - I booked 3 rooms for an overnight stay on May 6th for my family. However, I immediately canceled 2 rooms when I realized that the rooms have only 1 queen beds. Then I rebook another 2 rooms with 2 twin beds. I was calling the hotel to explain about my situation but nobody answered the phone. Booking.com canceled my 2 reserved rooms, but the hotel declined my request, even though it says free cancelation on Booking.com. I explained this to the receptionist. The hotel still charged me for the 2 canceled rooms. So disappointing!! The rooms are clean but cramped, except for the family room with a loft (that one is fancy). The views from the rooms that we have stayed were as follows: a wall, fire escape, and dirty rooftops. The lobby is very small. The hallway is so narrow, and elevators are small. The free breakfast had limited choices of food. I will NEVER stay there again! The fact that they charged me for canceled rooms, the "lovely views" of a wall, fire escape, and dirty rooftops, the narrow hallway, and limited food choices for breakfast.

- Terence (9/5): My favourite breakfast in any Philippines hotel. - The staff and restaurants were amazing. The location is great and all in all i lived XYZ My room floor was flooded from a leak in the CR it had made the floorboards damp. A few towels fixed things though. The aircon was particularly noisy and not too effective.

The hotel needs updating especially carpets in the corridors as some were already lifting and trip hazard. The lift button is temperamental and didn't work at times. We ate at the restaurant on both evenings during our stay and found the food a bit too salty. The desserts looked much better in the photos than they did in real life.

- Kevin (9/5): I would stay here again - Restaurants have great food and courteous staff at a reasonable price. Breakfast buffet is great value and included with the room rate. The hotel has a parking lot about 50 meters from the hotel but its small and only holds about 9 cars. They stack cars two deep so i had to wait for another guest to move his car one day that was blocking me in.

Personel was very nice and helpful, good restaurant(s), everything clean and comfortable. The transfer we needed was reserved without problem. The meals in the restaurant were very very good ! Maybe the servis in the restaurant could be a little bit faster.

- Kelly (7/5): Middle of the road hotel. - Room was clean, staff was very friendly and professional. Walls are thin. We were woken up at 5:00 am by loud people in the hall talking. After than more loud talking by other guests. I don’t know if it was coming from the hall or outside. The WiFi was terrible. That might have been the location of our room, not sure, but it barely worked.

I think the highlight is definately the staff, some of the best I've experienced in Philippines. Only thing is a saw a massive rat in the corridor, the stairwell door to outside was left open lol.

I think after the years now I been staying there, the place good do with a refurbishment, carpets in hallways looking old and tired, towels bit old, bed sheets had makeup stains.

Hotellet har en ganske rik frokost-meny du kan velge i. Og et meget oppmerksomt personale. Sushie-restauranten på toppen fungerte godt både som cocktailbar og restaurant. Rommet var stort og behagelig. Jeg fikk en oppgradering av booking.com som sørget for dette. En ulyd på rommet ga dårlig søvn. Jeg fant ut at den kom fra kjøleskapet og trakk ut kontakten. Svømmebassenget er kuult, men litt for lite.

The end of the bed left very little room to walk across the room in front of the bed. The mattress was old and not very firm

Unfortunately, throughout our stay, the hotel gave us an excuse every day not to be able to swim in it.and the breakfast which is included in the hotel price was unfortunately given to someone else on the first day and on the following days it turned out that half of the items could not be ordered and the rest had to be paid extra
- Thomas (7/5): Easy booking difficult stay. - The best thing was the ease of booking a room when booking at the better hotels during the summer season is quite difficult. The Internet! The internet service at the hotel is painfully slow, and difficult to maintain as the connection frequently drops in the middle of a session. The bathroom, a frosted glass encased affair seems to have been an afterthought as it is small and inconvenient.

- deane (3/5): annoying - Breakfast was free. I was travelling with 2 children and 5 adults morning breakfast was very mis managed. We order different breakfasts each one showed up at different times. Not just a few minutes between orders but a half hour between thems or not at all. Chicken and waffles were chicken and pancakes. this did not just happen one time I was there for 2 days and the same thing happened on both days. THe staff is extremely friendly and helpful and I love them but the way the restaurant is run is very poor

- Daniel (5/5): The stay at the hotel was average - I liked the pool The internet kept disconnecting, the internet speed was poor, it was impossible to work with frequent disconnections, there were no towels in the bathroom, there were no extra ones, water leaked from the shower into the room, small portions at breakfast, I was always hungry after breakfast.

- Darren (8/5): Best Hotel for tacloban - If you are visiting tacloban then this is the best hotel to choose. Great staff.. super friendly and helpful. Good options for food and beverages. Some small ants in the room and bathroom needed some work as ceiling and floor look old and tired.

- Daniel (10/5): - Our receptionist, Alicia(I believe) was extremely attentive and observant. She was kind and guided us through it all with professionalism and follow-through. Would return on our next visit to Tacloban because of the staff alone.

When I got into the room I asked why it was not the spacious room I had book from previous stay and the guy at the front desk has immediately transferred me to a great room that's spacious. There is no view in that room. However over all my mom had a great stay. We enjoyed the in room massage and had a comfortable sleep

- ROBIN S. (10/5): Frequent traveler loved XYZ - Breakfast was off a menu. The selection of choices was good. Some choices were excellent while I didn’t care for others. I am a coffee lover. The coffee they served me was terrible. Even though I enjoy great coffee I don’t mind many instant coffees. This was not drinkable.
- Khrystyna (7/5): Дякую працівникам рецепції за допомогу та якісний сервіс - Просторі номери ,гарний сервіс з боку рецепції ,СПА ,ресторану (хоча їжа не дуже смачна), та інших працівників готелю Не достатньо чисто ,як в номері так і в спа ,присутні неприємні запахи ,хаускіпінг жахливий ,вам максимум застелять ліжко ,можливо змінять постіль ,заберуть сміття і змінять рушники на цьому все …про прибирання не йдеться ,прошу звернути увагу на роботу працівників хаускіпінгу

- M (9/5): Great place to stay - It’s in a very good location, with many stores and restaurants within walking distance. The on-site restaurant is excellent, and the breakfast was great as well. The staff are very friendly, and the place has a genuinely pleasant feel. Parking can be challenging. They have a small parking area a short walk away; otherwise, you’ll need to park on the street. There is no direct on-site parking, except for limited street parking in front of the hotel.
