• josephfM9989EF (2/5): Unsafe for Families - especially women & children - During our stay, my partner and I were attacked by a large group (10+) of heavily intoxicated guests in the hotel in an unprovoked attack. We could have been killed. Our two young children aged 2 and 4 also witnessed this and were also traumatised by the incident. We respectfully requested that the hotel remove the guests responsible, due to the duty of care that they have for their guests and the unacceptable behaviour of our assailants. They refused, stating that: ‘we will remove them if it happens again; they (the assailants) have said sorry and it won’t happen again; there are too many of them to remove and we don’t have the authority to do this’. They took this stance, after having watched the sheer viciousness of the attack via their CCTV systems. Nonetheless, they were content that no action needed to be taken regarding our assailants. There was zero consequence for those responsible for carrying out this vicious attack on us. Not only this, but the hotel also enabled said assailants to reach such levels of intoxication on the night of the attack. Some 12 hours after the attack, the same assailants were sat around the pool, drinking alcohol. Therefore, it can be said that the hotel has zero regard for the safety of its guests; including women and children. This hotel is unsafe, especially for families. I would strongly advise any families in particular to avoid this hotel and stay elsewhere as your safety cannot be guaranteed there.

• Kadri (10/5): - We were allowed to check in in the morning and we were able to spend time at the hotel on the last day until our flight in the late evening. Several evening performances were masterclasses. The event team worked hard whole the day to make sure everyone had a great time. Special thanks to Anu from animation team whose energy was amazing even at midnight. Big thanks to Alis from pool bar who was very friendly and whose cocktails were much better than the others.

From the moment you arrive you are greeted with a smile. All the staff are friendly. You can relax quietly or join in the many activities available. Pool games, dance classes, fun competitions. The food is very varied and always fresh. The spa offers amazing treatments. Recommend the Turkish bath & massage. Onsite hairdressers, shop Pool bar ( 24 hour) variety of restaurants / snacks. Ideal for couples, young families. Also entertainment every night in the outdoor amphitheater, also disco Special mention to Kadir. One of the waiters in main restaurant who looked after us. This hotel is all inclusive and everything is included. So ideal if you’re on a budget. You will find the landscape gardens beautiful . The beach has a sun deck pier and bar Also private sea swimming.
• R746KQjk (8/5): Fantastic place, don't go on the trips - This place is amazing, very clean, staff couldn't do enough for you, couldn't fault the food, lots of choice, and we'll cooked. There is always some form of entertainment going on during the day for the adults ( volleyball, waterpolo, shooting, darts to name afew) and the animation team (kids club) are fantastic, lots of activities for kids of all ages. Large pool, with separate waterslides, private beach with pier. Would definitely visit again, the only reason it dropped a star is because of the trip we booked to go to ; zoo, boat ride, dinner, mudbath or fishing (which did not happen) and foam party. We were misled about extras we had to pay for, missing itineraries. The rep "promised" to make it right, but nothing was done about our complaints. But please do not let the bad experience of the trip (70 euros per person) put you off from coming to this excellent establishment, this was the only disappointment in an otherwise perfect holiday.

• Csilla (9/5): Egy szuper szálloda, ahol minden adott, hogy jól érezd magad - Nem túl nagy, nagyon kompakt resort, közvetlenül a tengerparton. Az ételek finomak és változatosak, az italok minőségiek, a személyzet kedves. Amikor megtudták, hogy balesetet szenvedett a kisfiam, elképesztő kedvesek voltak, rugalmas check-out-ot kaptunk ingyen, hogy a gyermek pihenhessen. A minibárból is tudtunk fogyasztani, minden nap feltöltötték. Nem működött az egyik ajtó zárja, így nem tudtuk a szobát biztonságosan zárni. Szerencsére nem történt ebből baj. Egyik nap a takarítőnő elvitte az összes fürdőlepedőt a fürdőszobánkból, valószínűleg véletlenül. Erre figyeljetek oda, mert ki kell fizetni, ha nincs meg.

• kirkeh2026 (10/5): Great entertainment and safe environment for kids, but lacking in food variety - We visited Mukarnas Resort and Spa in April 2026. Overall, our experience was positive, especially thanks to the staff and the compact layout, though there are details to keep in mind. What we liked: Staff and language skills: The staff's foreign language skills are very good. Special thanks to the Mini Club team (Katerina, Elif, Bety and Imane) — they are professional and genuinely friendly with the children. Safety: The hotel grounds are compact, making it safe and easy for children to move around on their own. Rooms and cleanliness: Both the common areas and the rooms were clean and tidy. The room was small, but we didn't spend much time there, so it didn't bother us. Pools and sea: Although the pools and slides are unheated, they were already warm enough in April. The beach was well-maintained but stony (as is typical in Turkey), and the seawater was already pleasant for swimming. Things to consider: Food and fruit: The food selection was mediocre and repetitive, especially for vegetarians. The fresh fruit selection was limited to apples, bananas, pears, oranges, and grapefruit. Dated play areas: While the hotel itself was clean, the attractions in the children's area and the sports field are noticeably worn out and in need of refreshment. Location and shopping: There is nowhere to go for a walk in the immediate vicinity. There are a few bazaars nearby, but no fixed-price shops. The nearest Migros is about a 20-minute walk away. Summary: A good choice for families who prioritize kids' entertainment and safety, but you should keep your expectations modest regarding the food.

• Naomi898 (6/5): Not a 5 star unfortunately for us - Unfortunately, this hotel stay did not meet expectations of a 5-star experience. The food was wasn’t great and often served cold, and the room air conditioning wasn’t working properly, which made the stay uncomfortable. The hotel itself feels quite dated and could really benefit from an upgrade, as it’s starting to look tired. Service was also disappointing—many staff members seemed uninterested, and some were quite rude. We weren’t offered information about spa access or any activities, which made the experience feel lacking. That said, there were a couple of bright spots. One restaurant staff member, I believe named Vesi, was very pleasant, and a barman in the lobby stood out for his friendly attitude and attentiveness, always keeping our drinks topped up. The tattoo artist was also very nice. There’s also not much to do around the hotel, and the lobby bar lacks atmosphere in the evenings. Some live entertainment like a pianist or singer would really improve the ambiance, especially for guests who don’t want to attend the main shows. Overall, disappointing for what should have been a 5-star stay

• AlanD766 (8/5): Excellent hotel for families and the younger generation. - I do try and give a fair review on all the hotels we stay in…We just spent a week at this lovely hotel and my wife said how would I rate it..8/10 it is an excellent hotel for families with so much on offer including rides and the water park. It’s a very clean hotel and food for most nationalities on offer so something for most palettes. So why only 8/10 because we don’t feel it’s really catering for the older people as it’s got constant very loud music all day around the pool, and it even starts playing soft music at 7am and in the early evening, the design of the hotel means it echoes and things are loud till around 10 or 11 at night. Don't get me wrong for the younger generation and families it’s fantastic clean hotel with a lot to offer but it’s not for us as we prefer a more relaxed holiday but then we are in our 60s.

• 799nutty007 (10/5): Great hotel - Just returned from a lovely week here, firstly hotel is spotless, reception/bar area is beautiful, rooms nice and spacious very comfy beds, hot showers, Pool outside very cold but still went in, spent more time at the heated indoor pool/ sauna. We never were hungry! Food is excellent and theres lots of it! Snack bar on afternoon choice of chips, pizza, salad, fajitas, cakes, burgers then afterwards waffles, jacket spuds, hotdogs you will never be hungry! Beach is pebbled not sandy so never spent any time there. There is no direct bus from here to side you have to go to manavgat and change , we did it took about 20 mins to manavgat then another 15 to side. Out front about a 12 min walk to the right is a market, worth a walk out got some bargains. All in all a great hotel and we would defo return 100%!

From the moment we arrived, the staff were absolutely outstanding – friendly, attentive, and always going above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. The food was another highlight – a fantastic variety every day, all fresh and delicious. There was something for everyone, and every meal felt like a treat. The kids’ restaurant was also really impressive – such a great idea with its own play section and self-service area, which made mealtimes fun and easy for the children. The entertainment team were truly amazing and brought so much energy and fun to the resort. A special mention has to go to the wonderful ladies at the kids club – Imane, Katrine and Elif. My daughters absolutely adored them and couldn’t wait to go back each day. Varya was especially lovely – she was so warm, kind, and genuinely caring with the children. She took the time to get to know my daughters, made them feel completely comfortable, and always went out of her way to include them and make them feel special. It was so reassuring as a parent to see how attentive and nurturing she was, and it really made a huge difference to our holiday. My daughters are still talking about her! Overall, this was a perfect family holiday and we made so many lovely memories. We will definitely be returning – thank you Mukarnas Spa Resort for such a special stay!
• alexoK607JZ (10/5): Outstanding staff and hotel that’s created the best Memories for our whole family! - Just returned from 10 days at the Mukarnas for the second time and already looking to book for next year. This was our second time at the Mukarnas hotel and we brought our friends and their two children with us and we would highly recommend to anyone. The hotel itself is stunning both inside and outside with spacious, well equipped and immaculately clean rooms. The maids were in every day and left the room spotless. We upgraded on arrival to a family room and this was much cheaper on arrival than we would have paid with the tour operator. Food was brilliant! The snack bar near the beach served lovely salads, pizza, chicken amongst other food at lunchtime and there is plenty of choice. Also waffles, wraps and other things served in the afternoon at the Amalfi bar which was great for the kids late afternoon hunger. The main restaurant at breakfast, lunch and dinner catered for everyone and we never struggled to find delicious food to eat! A particular favourite was the Turkish night on a Monday evening. The thing that stands out for us at this hotel is the staff! Kadir in the Main Restaurant is the kindest, most attentive and genuinely lovely person! He made sure our family were tended to at every mealtime and went out of his way to make every dining experience outstanding. Huge thanks to Kadir a real asset to the Mukarnas. Two guys behind the Pool bar Ahmet and Mehmet also made our holiday enjoyable! They were fantastic with the kids and always had a smile for us when making our drinks! Thanks to them, both great guys! Finally the Animation Team are outstanding at Mukarnas from the Good Morning song at 10am until they finish at the end of the evening with the entertainment these guys made our holiday! The happiest, nicest genuine people, all of them including the wonderful girls at kids club have created so many memories for us, especially our children. Special mention to Nurdan, Ozi, Umut and Anu! Overall an amazing experience which will ensure we are booking the Mukarnas again soon! Thank you all!

But honestly, it was the entertainment team that took our holiday to the next level! 🤩 Big shout out to Umut, Nurdan, and DJ Ozzi - your energy and warmth were infectious! Clap Clap! They went above and beyond to make our children feel involved, and we can't thank them enough. We had tears leaving them on the last night. Let’s not forget Mehmet and Ahmet in the sports bar - those two are the real Gentleman! 😄 Our boys loved hanging out with them, and we felt like we'd known them for ages. The pool area? • Viktorija (9/5): - Территория отеля очень красивая, много зелени, первая линия у моря. Единственный минус из-за отсутствия пирса, уходящего в море, нам не разрешали купаться. Из-за сильных волн и входа с мелкой галькой персонал был очень осторожен и запрещал заходить в воду. Если ехать, то лучше в конце апреля. Персонал отличный, все стараются сделать отдых максимально комфортным, от уборщиц до аниматоров. В течение дня хорошая развлекательная программа. Это отличное место для семей с детьми: есть небольшой лунапарк и очень хорошая детская площадка. Еда очень вкусная, кормят практически весь день, начиная с 7 утра. Из минусов: расположение отеля: он далеко и от Алании, и от Анталии. Тем, кто хочет посетить достопримечательности, придётся платить очень дорого за такси: около 150 евро до Анталии и примерно 70 евро до Алании. Есть маршрутка до Алании — это намного дешевле, но до Анталии добраться сложнее. В целом туристические места находятся достаточно далеко.
• darrensB5657XT (10/5): Excellent Hotel - The 7-day stay in this hotel was excellent and I would highly recommend it to anyone. I have mapped out my experience below; we are a family of eight, with some disabled guests, and found that this hotel is great for them. The location of the hotel is excellent, with a bazaar 20 minutes away, and lots of other amenities nearby. The hotel itself is very nice and looks modern, and despite coming in April (rather than the peak Summer), it was nice to see that so much was available on offer. Only thing I would like to make you aware of is that some of the curbs are quite steep outside the hotel if you do venture out for a walk, just consider this, although there are 'subways' which take you under the main road outside. The pool areas are very good, with slides (weather-dependant), plenty of sunbeds, and several pool areas with activities going on throughout. The areas were kept clean, spotless, and it is a credit to the staff. Entertainment were about daily doing a range of different activities. Service at this hotel is one of the best things. I want to especially thank Faruk, Ali (with the heart on his badge), Servet, and Mehmet, who were absolutely brilliant throughout at all bars. Drinks are available 24 hours a day either at the game bar (when colder) or pool bar (in summer). Food selection is great, with plenty of options available for even the pickiest of eaters. The restaurant opens at several times throughout the day, with two other areas (snack bar/amphi bar) which also offer food such as fried chicken, donner kebab, waffles, churros, flatbreads, etc. The dining area in the main restaurant does get pretty busy, and the only issue we had was with someone disabled, the lifts would take ages to arrive as it seemed to only be two that serviced the entire dining hall. Nonetheless, this did not spoil our experience. Rooms are highly spacious, very clean, and well kept. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are very clean, and the cleaner goes well above and beyond as well. The mini bar in the room is free, with peach drinks, sparkling water, bottled Coca Cola, and water refilled daily. There is also tea, coffee, and a kettle available in the room. Hotel is excellent value for the money. The hotel is quite quiet, and there are plenty of areas to go at night, from the entertainment, to the game bar downstairs, all the way to the lobby bar instead, with (mostly) the same drinks offered throughout each. I will most definitely be looking to come back to this hotel and am happy that they were so welcoming. Some of the reviews that are giving it lower ratings seem unwarranted, but this was a highly positive experience and I would recommend for any families.

The people who work there are truly lovely and always helpful. Every time we come back, we feel right at home. Special greetings to Mehmed (Marek) Ahmet (Adam) and Ali Avci 🥰 You are amazing. They are always smiling and happy to chat, which makes the atmosphere even more special. The animation team are incredible positive people. Nurdan, 💕your energy brings such a great vibe to everyone around you! Varya and Katya my daughter loves you. Umut and Mc Ozi you are wonderful. • 169jonathanw (10/5): Mukarnas first week of 2026 season! - We had an incredible stay at Mukarnas Hotel & Spa and would highly recommend it. The hotel itself is superb, with fantastic facilities including a large outdoor pool and a heated indoor pool, which was a real bonus. We also treated ourselves to the Turkish bath, massage and facial at the spa — all were excellent and definitely worth doing. The food was another highlight, with a great variety every day and plenty of options for everyone. Everything was fresh and well presented. What really makes this hotel stand out is the staff. The bar staff are friendly and always make sure you’re having a good time, the cleaners do an exceptional job, and the waiters are some of the most attentive and friendly people we’ve come across. A special mention to Kadir from the waiting staff, who looked after us at every meal — a real credit to the hotel. We also hired a car through the hotel and visited Alanya, where we saw the castle and took the cable car — something we’d definitely recommend. We can’t really comment on the children’s entertainment as our kids didn’t use the kids club. The evening entertainment was a little repetitive and not the strongest part of the stay, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Overall, we thoroughly recommend this hotel and, if we weren’t relocating, we would absolutely return.

We felt well looked after by all the staff who treated us like family. Make sure you go to see the tour guide - he is incredibly friendly and offer various experiences to your trip to vary it. He can also recommend other places to visit in the area.
• gwpjones (10/5): Great hotel for families - Visited in August 24. Amazing hotel with friendly staff. Plenty of pools, slides and activities to keep the whole family entertained. Restaurant staff were leagues ahead of other all inclusive holidays we’ve had making sure we were all sat comfortably and had drinks brought to the table. Only criticism is that we enjoyed drinking in the lobby in the evening but this is closed quite early and they turn the air con off to get people to leave. Pool bar is open all night but was very warm, even in the evenings. Beach is just passed the pool area which also had an all inclusive bar. Hotel and room itself was spotless clean and well maintained. Would definitely recommend.

We paid an extra £50 for an upgraded room . Glad we did however the mattress was really hard and no air conditioning which was disappointing. Food was repetitive but lots of choice . I got food poisoning on the 2nd day ( put this down to the salad). I wanted to book one of the al a carte restaurants as we could have 1 free booking, got told it had finished ! Entertainment was good on the night and beach foam party was fun! A lady called Janet was lovely to our daughter x Everything was in Euros which was annoying as we had English money or Lira , and was quite expensive. Not really much to do around the hotel but a short walk to a few shops and a shopping centre. I do like to stay different places so I'm not sure I would return to this hotel/ area .
• Lkjhgfdsaze (8/5): Staff are the shining stars. - Hotel was lovely, smaller than what we’re used to in Turkey but the staff were also a lot friendlier and chattier which could be for that reason also. It was decently clean, although I don’t think the room floors got mopped once in the week we where there, we wore the slippers and within 5 mins they where pitch black underneath and the same thing could be said for your feet if you was not wearing anything. I don’t believe the bedding was changed but I wouldn’t have expected it for a weeks stay. There is coffee/tea facilities and a tv that had channels in multiple languages, no iron although we didn’t ask at reception so that could be an option. Food was nice enough, there was always something tasty to eat and we didn’t have a single meal where would could say we left hungry. Even the pickiest of eaters could always find something to eat. It is the last month of the season but it would have been nice to still experience a A la carte to break the week up, especially seeing as the hotel did not feel like it was empty at all. We had a Turkish bath and massage in the spa which was fairly priced and I would highly recommend. Pools where not heated, even the indoor ones where still freezing so whilst it was cooler weather (20-25’C) I’d say go the beach if you like a swim as the water was much more tolerable. Overall brilliant hotel for what it is, the staff where the shining stars of the experience they where always willing for a laugh and they’d help you with any issues with no complaints. It’s lovely for what you pay for, it’s more of a intimate feel compared to the much larger complexes that can be found in the area and we felt safe allowing the kids to have fun and not worry that anything would happen to them.

We were going to book an al a carte but were told only the Italian was open and we would all have to chose the same food. Maybe the hotel was winding down as it was the last week of October. One issue was the noise from the pool bar this was relentless in rhetoric evening until 1130/midnight so if you did want a chilled evening this wasn’t an option. We had high hopes having read previous reviews but it fell short of expectations. If you want a full on family week away then I would recommend but our children are older and the lack of chilled time was a bit disappointing. There is nothing outside the hotel and the bed b is pebbles not sand but we knew this when we booked it,

The Hotel is situated on a main road which is no problem (no noise) The Hotel is one of if not the cleanest Hotel we have ever been in Turkey. Our room 2125 was meticulously cleaned daily with towels and refreshments refreshed daily. The Food was wide and varied. Have been to many AIs but this was excellent. The food and service was excellent. I have to mention KADIR This young man was a star always looking after us. Making us welcome and nothing was a bother. He went above and beyond and really helped us have a great holiday. The pool and beach were lovely. Always entertaining with the entertainment staff but never too pushy. Nurdean Best would always stop and chat. She was lovely. To summarise...it was a beautiful hotel with really nice staff and excellent Facilities. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone. • jengee88 (6/5): Amazing staff ,beautiful sunset views good cocktails - We travelled as a group of family and friends ,we booked a private transfer which took 1.5 hours would recomend doing this it was 80 euro each way. Hotel on arrival looks lovely very grand reception ,staff were welcoming taking our bags to rooms (but looking for a tip for doing so) Rooms are basic ,ours had a side sea view could be very noisy with main road out front but if you shut all the balcony doors its quiet. Pool are is ideal size ,we did get up early every day to secure beds that we wanted but we did find that there was loads of beds enough for everyone including beds at private beach, the peir at beach is stunning and sea water was lovely for a swim although very rocky ,alot warmer than the pool in hotel which was absoloutely frozen every day!! Entertainment was good and our youngest child enjoyed the mini disco and kids club also ,the staff in hotel are fantastic our favourites being Mehmet and Alis ,they were very attentive friendly and kept our group laughing, and drinks filled constantly. Our only grumble was the food is average ,cater more for foreign than british the hotel restaraunt was like a cattle market at times we couldnt get seated and the rudeness of some people was horrendous ,kids selection is very poor our kids went without on more than 1 ocassion. All in loads to do in hotel but we wouldnt return to this area.

When we arrived around 1am and booked us in we said if we could get some food and they organised this for us which was great. We found the staff were as friendly throughout our stay and with a good range of food/drinks finished off with some great shows ( Mongolian circus and the African show ) and amazing weather we couldn't ask for more and throughly enjoyed our holiday and in the future will be back. • 756mandiek (8/5): full honest review - Honest review of our second visit sept 2025 Hotel 10/10 the approach to the hotel is one of the most spectacular entrances that will greet you, the lobby is amazing with super comfy chairs and sofas to relax on. Check in was quick and easy and polite staff on the desk very imformative and we were on our way with in 10 minutes. The room 10/10 big and spacious with everything you need apart from a iron ( there is one in the luggage room but not sure how good it was as i wouldn't use it) mini bar with pop and water in,kettle with small cups and a couple of t-bags and coffee and 3 sugars although annoyingly the cleaner never put anymore sugar in the room, we were in room 1243 which was amazing with views over the whole grounds, pool and sea. Pool, beach and day and night activities 9/10 only down side not a sandy beach but not really a issue but the pool activities including the aqua man was awesome and the foam party on the beach was fun then the beer festival was a great afternoon too with food and drink. Staff unfortunatly 7-8/10 bar staff never had a smile or held a conversation with us apart from one on the beach bar who loved a laugh with my accent. The waitresses and waiters were hit and miss as it wasn't till the last night we were actually ask if we wanted a drink whilst running around for other tables, they were also quick to take the drinks we fetched before we'd finished them. The one day we also witness a waitress (who was always hard working and jolly) and a cleaner (who was the most miserable nasty female) have a argument in front of all the diners and were both spoken to by management in front of everyone too, a big no no. Food 7/10 fist couple of days the food was top notch but from then onwards it became repetitive with almost the same food every night and the puddings were not as good this time around, One big difference this year was the themed nights which was a french night and a turkish night compared to before there was 4 themed nights. Cleaning 8/10 the rooms were spotless apart from the last two days when we noticed the floors weren't properly clean and little things like the toilet rolls were being missed from the bathrooms too. Overall holiday 9/10 had a great time there and even thought we'd not return for a third time due to wanting to visit different places we would recommend this hotel but would always say to look at videos and make your own mind and to take into the gruelling 2 hour drive to the hotel too. One note of interest to also think about is that if your gluten intolerant there wont be much for you to eat there either .

Of course, 15 years ago the hotel was 2 years old since they opened it everything was impressive and luxurious , and although the rooms are renovated and the lobby area is still impressive many things have changed. We loved the welcoming from the beautiful and always smiling ASSELYA,she is an asset for the hotel ,as I myself work in tourism ,and I know how important the first contact person is and she is always smiling and being helpful. We loved the animation team , especially ANU and the morning yoga lady( brunette, with long hair, sorry I don't remember her name). They always keep you entertained and there is no time to get bored by the pool. We loved how clean the hotel and the rooms were, so again the cleaners are an asset to the hotel , keeping all the public areas spotless. We loved the food,it was various and different theme nights buffet which was lovely decorated and tasty food, and myself as a vegetarian I found plenty of food from where to choose. We want to thank also to Zahra and Sudu from reception,always smiling. Pool bar: Ahmet, working afternoon shift and being the only one smiling and helpful and making amazing cocktails. Lobby bar: Faruk and Yusuf Chinese restaurant very nice waiters always smiling: Mehmet Ali Main restaurant: Hamza,Kadir,Sinan And the lady in Amphi Bar doing the Gozleme- best Turkish food and she was always kind and smiling. There were 2 girls at breakfast who were always smiling and nice ,outside on the terrace, the one bringing the pots of tea and coffee and the one cleaning and resetting the tables We loved the repeater gift a bottle of wine and some crisps and the goodbye strawberries chocolate. We loved the tennis court,squash playing area and ping pong. We loved the gazebo on the beach. You can always find sunbeds by the pool and beach,there are plenty. We loved the breakfast champagne on Sunday. What we didn't like and the reason we gave 4 and not 5 stars review, is that we were given a room on arrival and we were informed that next day we had to move to a different one, so this made us lose some time from our holiday and first room had a full sea view while the second was what we have booked a side sea view room. We didn't like the porter( bell boy) who took us in the room at the check in ,he was arrogant, didn't smile and didn't leave the room till we tip him. We didn't like that, although a lot of Romanian people in the hotel, the animation guy who was speaking and presenting the daily program in the morning was saying " good morning" in all the languages except Romanian,maybe they should learn a " Buna dimineața" . We didn't like that the beach bar was not serving cocktails. We didn't like that the sunbeds by the pool were so close to each other leaving us without any privacy or a way to move.The beach towels were very small for the sunbeds and were very old and not fluffy. For a 5* hotel is very important to have nice,big and fluffy towels- for the pool and rooms. We had the same issue in the room, the towels were very old and not fluffy. What I didn't like ,was that I asked the pool bar if they have any vegetarian milk and they told me no, so I couldn't drink a nice coffee. This is a must in all the hotels nowadays. We felt that ultra all inclusive was not the same as 15 years ago, no more imported drinks, we could use only one time for free at one of the a la carte restaurants. We would return here? Maybe we got old ,as we couldn't imagine one year ago that we will ever return to the same place, but overall we love Mukarnas and is having something special that makes us want to return ,so yes definitely we will go back and we hope to find everything the above will be improved and we will give a 5* plus. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made our vacation even more enjoyable. The entertainment team was also really good, and we were very impressed by the shows. As for the negative aspects, the sea was quite rocky, there was almost no sand, and it got deep very quickly. This could be a bit dangerous, especially for children. The pool was crowded, so you had to reserve a sun lounger early in the morning. Our most negative experience was at the hotel's market. I bought a pack of cigarettes at a high price and found the same product at half the price at a nearby market the next day. When I explained the situation, I was met with a negative reaction, and they rudely kicked me out of the market. Such a beautiful hotel doesn't deserve such a market. But we will still come to Mukarnas Hotel as a family. I do not recommend shopping at the market in Mukarnas Hotel.

• PaulK3629 (6/5): Not a bad resort overall, but in my opinion the star rating is a little generous. - The Positives Most of the staff are friendly, helpful, and clearly work very hard. The hotel and grounds are kept clean and tidy, and the sunbeds are comfortable and good quality. The 24-hour pool bar is a real bonus — especially if you arrive late at night and want a drink or a quick unwind before heading to bed. The animation team also deserves credit; they work tirelessly to put on activities and entertainment for all ages, running from 10am through to midnight every day. The rooms are fairly spacious. After reading reviews beforehand, we chose to upgrade from a standard room for £80 (10-day stay). This was definitely worth it for a family of four — the standard room would have been far too cramped. The Downsides Meal times were the most disappointing part of the stay. The hotel has only one main restaurant for breakfast and dinner, and it simply isn’t big enough for the number of guests. There’s no host to seat you, so at busy times you end up circling the dining area, waiting to swoop in on a free table. For breakfast, the best times are right at opening (7am) or after 9am once the rush has eased. Dinner is even more difficult — unless you arrive the moment it opens at 7pm, you’ll likely need to wait until after 8:15pm for things to calm down. The food itself is average. While the buffet spread is large, it is very repetitive. Unlike many other all-inclusive resorts, there are no complimentary à la carte experiences. The only options are three themed nights per week at an extra cost. We tried the BBQ night, and while the food was good, we didn’t realise you had to cook it yourself — not exactly ideal in 35-degree heat! The lunchtime snack restaurant is also overcrowded, with long queues and a scramble for tables if you arrive at peak time. Bars serve a decent range of local drinks, but again, expect queues — especially at the pool bar. Oddly, the only proper sit-down bar is located in the lobby, which feels like a missed opportunity for more relaxing spaces. The lifts are another frustration. There are only four main lifts servicing seven floors, plus two smaller ones in the wings. They are small, slow, and during peak times you can easily wait 10 minutes. We often resorted to the stairs, which isn’t ideal with a stroller. Sunbed shortages are very real. If you want to secure a few together — particularly in the sun — you’ll need to set an alarm for 6:30am and claim them with towels. Not exactly the relaxing holiday vibe most people hope for. Overall If you’re looking for a lively holiday with plenty of entertainment, friendly staff, and don’t mind some queuing or early mornings to claim your spot, this resort could work for you. But if you prefer a more relaxed dining experience, better food variety, and an stress-free way of finding sunbeds, this probably isn’t the right choice.

• laurenprocter22 (8/5): Family stay - We’ve just returned from a 9-night stay at Mukarnas Hotel as a family of four (2 adults, children aged 6 and 1). Arrival & Room: Check-in was fast and polite, and we were offered an upgrade to a bigger room with a sea view for £10 per night. We accepted and were glad we did – the room was spacious (though not as large as other hotels we’ve stayed in Turkey) and a travel cot was provided for the baby. Cleanliness & Staff: The hotel is kept exceptionally clean, with staff working constantly and always friendly. Pools & Sun Loungers: The kids’ pool was perfect for our little ones – shallow (34cm), with two small slides, and right by the play park and kids’ club. However, sun loungers were a challenge. By 7am, around 40% were already reserved, so I had to get up early every day to secure spots. Another downside is that there isn’t a bar particularly close to the kids’ pool, so drinks meant a bit of a walk. Food & Drinks: The food was very good overall, always something for everyone, and the themed restaurant decorations were impressive. There was even a kids-only restaurant with a TV and low tables, which made mealtimes easier – though this wasn’t always open, and sometimes seating was further from the main restaurant. Snack bars served great food (burgers, kebabs, salads, chips, etc.) from 12:30, which was ideal. Cocktails were a bit hit and miss depending on who made them, and alcoholic drinks generally weren’t very strong. Entertainment: Evening entertainment varied – 2–3 shows were fantastic! Daytime entertainment was always lively, with plenty going on. Highlights for our son were the Transformers show and the flyboard show. One downside: music plays until midnight, and it’s very loud in the rooms until then. My eldest particularly enjoys the mini club, the animation team were absolutely incredible and always made sure each child felt special. Other Notes: • The poolside floors are extremely slippery – we saw a few accidents (thankfully not us). • Good local market across the road on Friday mornings. Overall: A very good stay – the kids loved it and were sad to leave. The hotel has a lot to offer for families, especially with young children, but a few small improvements could make it even better.
• andrewwC3288OH (10/5): Fantastic 2-Week Holiday at Mukarnus - We’ve just returned from a 2-week stay at the Mukarnus, and it was absolutely brilliant! Even in peak season, everything ran smoothly. Every member of staff was amazing—from reception and bar teams to entertainment, kids’ club, kitchen staff, and cleaners. Not one person let us down. A couple of minor points: the kids’ pool area is very slippery with the kids, so some floor grips would be helpful. The beach isn’t the best if you want a sandy beach, it’s still lovely sea, , but as we’re not really beach people, it didn’t affect our stay. Special thanks to the staff for upgrading our room to meet our needs it was much appreciated. The food was fantastic, and although the restaurant was busy around 7 PM, it never felt overwhelming. The food was rather nice and what made it better was the different restaurants you could choose at lunch. The entertainment was fine.

• NorthStar32827894711 (10/5): Fabulous Holiday - We have just returned from a trip to the Murkanas Hotel and Spa and I felt compelled to write a review just because it was so good. We went as two families, so 9 of us in total, 5 kids and 4 adults. We arrived late on Friday 8th August and were greated by lovely reception staff and our bags were taken to the room. Initially the room felt quite warm as the Air con had been off but it soon cooled down so don't worry about that if it feels a little hot when you arrive. We had a family room with bunk beds and it was really spacious and very quiet. We were at the front of the hotel but with the doors shut road noise was barely audible. The rooms were lovely and clean and kept that way every day. The food was superb with a huge choice at all meal times. We would recommend the snack bar at lunch time as it eas so close to the pools and beach. Pools were fantastic with great slides. The beach was lovely and the sea temperature was 30 when we were there. The whole thing ran like a well oiled machine and everyone we encountered were friendly and obliging. We did tip, but that was because we genuinely wanted too and never felt obligated to. I would love to return here and would recommend to others.

• kevinrH5080FW (10/5): Very well organised hotel. Smart, clean, friendly-our family fitted in straight away. - Stayed here for 10 nights July into August. Felt comfortable immediately in surroundings, everything as it should be. Mehmet and Alis looked after me at the bar, all bar staff worked really hard ALL day. Possible improvement needed here, to ease workload and enhance experience. Efes beer on draught, very nice. Other drinks often inconsistent and cocktails not always as should be, again probably due to staff workload. Restaurant food as expected, same everyday for breakfast but plenty of choice. Evening dinner had a theme most nights so constantly adapting menu, again loads of choice. Busy but nothing to worry about, finding table sometimes difficult but Kadir looked after us early in our stay and then was around most days to help us. He was brilliant. Ate lunch in the snack restaurant as it suited us to have similar food daily and was sufficient if not repetitive. Other snacks available throughout the day around the hotel, didn’t enjoy the way lots of guests just took food as it was offered caused lots of waste! We were early risers so always got a sunbed. Lots of people reserving them and you wouldn’t see them for hours, so then some guests struggled to find them later in the day. Plenty of parasols which were needed in the summer sun ☀️ Pool is huge and always plenty of room. Entertainment team worked non stop, activities organised throughout the day for all ages. Particularly enjoyed the pool games at midday. Amphitheater entertainment hit and miss and very hot, then long wait at bar when it emptied. Room was perfect, we had separate bedroom loads of space and lovely bathroom. Rooms cleaned and mini fridge restocked daily, housekeeping did superb job. Loved a cocktail in lobby bar. Felt harassed by people from the Spa for first few days, including 4 times on first day. Overall a very enjoyable holiday and pretty much just what we expected and needed. A few niggles but that will always be in such a large organisation. Being made welcome and comfortable from day 1 was priceless. Thank you 🫶🏼

• BLUE017 (10/5): Great holiday! - This was our first time visiting Turkey (4 adults 2 kids) and chose this hotel based on all the positive reviews on Trip Advisor. Everything from start to finish was amazing but in summary: Hotel - The hotel is lovely and has everything one would need. The grounds are well looked after and overall it is clean and tidy. Staff - The staff are amazing, they make guests feel super welcome. They are honestly the hardest workers ever, there must be a huge army operation in the background running this hotel. Food and drink - The quantity of food on offer which is of great quality is staggering. You can tell all the cooks work super hard in the background making the food not only taste nice but displayed beautifully too! Food is fresh and some is cooked in front of you depending on what it is. Plenty of beer, cocktails, spirits on offer! Entertainment - There are constant entertainment taking place from morning to late in the evening. From morning pool activities, sports for the kids, games, foam beach party to high end performers / shows taking place in the theatre, fireworks, drone shows. Each day was something different and overall the staff work so hard to make sure everyone is having a good time and enjoying themselves. A few tips / recommendations for others looking to visit the hotel: 1) The hotel has a spa which is in the name! Suggest doing a spa experience early in the trip before getting any sunburn! Day 1 / 2 would be best. 2) Sunbeds get taken up super quick in the morning, by 7 - 8am most are already gone. This didn't ruin our experience, we instead went to the pier area which had a lovely sea breeze and bar area too. Would suggest the pier in the first instance! 3) Book excursions early during the holiday so that you have a few days in-between to relax in the hotel. 4) Have cash handy for tips 5) The sea is beautiful and warm but do not underestimate the strength of the sea. Even the most experienced / strong swimmers have found the currents strong at times. Be vigilant of loved ones swimming in the sea at all times. We would recommend this hotel especially for those with kids as it is safe and enjoyable, we are already considering a return trip!

The food was lovely, had a lot of choices for breakfast, lunch, dinner. There was always something going on, so you were never bored. But if you wanted to chill, you could do that too. All the staff we come across were lovely. The beach was nice too, just make sure you have beach shoes as it’s stone beach. Would definitely recommend this hotel to other people.

Plus book a Turkish massage with Umut, you get a great deal and the massages are amazing and you won't get the same experience outside Turkey. Get the VIP (UK) package its the best and a great price. We've booked for a 2nd massage as it was so refreshing and invigorating
