Don't fall for the Breakfast scam, it is not from the Hotel. - I was offered free Breakfast by the Booking.com website but someone must have forgotten to tell the Hotel. The first morning I arrived they refused the Breakfast and said the offer on my webpage had not come from them. In effect i was scammed again but the Hotel was still great value and unbelievably for Booking.com the gym was actually open and did offer the equipment shown in the picture! Nothing.............it was all good. A special mention to the Cleaning Ladies they were absolutely fantastic and did a great job!

- SHOTARO (10/5): - Very good location that offers plenty of shopping, dining options. The hotel and the rooms are luxurious and the service is great. One of the downside was that non-smoking floors still smells like cigarette with ash treys at the elevator hall. Also the swimming pool is not serviced by the hotel and other residents of the building can use it. Swimming cap was also required which the hotel did not inform us.

- mic_leow (10/5): Fantastic hospitality - We were overwhelmed by the hospitality provided at Wanda Realm even prior to our arrival. Ms Yuting from the front desk and Mr Tengfei from the concerige had been giving us so much advice and help even before our arrival. They are definitely a gem to the hotel and it certainly makes our stay a very special one at Harbin. We booked a one bedroom suite which we added two extra beds for our boys. Suite was still very spacious even with the extra beds added. Bathroom was huge and water pressure was strong. Only downside in winter, the air-conditioning cannot be on in all Harbin's hotels. However, not really an issue here as the window can be open slightly if ever u need some cold air in the room. This hotel is conveniently located about 10 mins away from the Harbin West train station and surroundings plenty of eateries and two malls just within walking distance. Definitely a recommended location to stay in.

- RossOrpington (8/5): Good apart from the collapsing desk - The room was very comfortable. It comprised a smallish TV, coffee/tea/kettle, room safe, bottled water, desk, comfortable chair. There was also an ironing board and iron. In common with many Chinese hotel rooms, there was a glass panel between the bedroom and the bathroom – it could be obscured using a blind if privacy was required. The large bed was firm. For reasons unknown, one of the windows had been left open, though there was no smell of smoke. Storage space was on the sparse side. The air conditioning was quiet and worked efficiently. The bathroom had large containers for shampoo, body wash and conditioner. There was a small body lotion container and paper tissues. Toothbrush/paste were provided. Towels were soft and replaced daily. Water was always hot and plentiful. One feature I liked were the bright lights over the bat, making it easier to see when cutting my toe nails. The shower was separate from the WC. Another feature I liked was the shower had a short drying line which was great, allowing my washing to drip in the shower rather than on the bathroom floor. I had breakfast, lunch and dinner at various times. They were all buffet style and had a wide range of western and Chinese dishes. The buffet restaurant tended to fill up quickly soon after opening. It was fun to see white robots travelling around, up and down the lifts though it was not clear what they were doing. The room was very near a large shopping mall and several good restaurants The room was good but for the desk “collapsing” – one end of it had been precariously balanced on part of a narrow ledge. I left the desk lamp on the floor hoping it might alert the maid to a problem but my hopes were in vain. The desk lamp was left on the floor. As a result, I gave the hotel 4 stars instead of 5.
- Adp7704 (9/5): Superb - Really nice place and great price too. Everything the reviews said about the AC is true. Adjusting it does nothing so prepare to be super warm or open up a window if there's no pollution that day.
- Blanca (10/5): A wonderful place to stay in Harbin - The property was very classy and the staff was super helpful. The breakfast was delicious! Every morning they have a new special they bring to the tables for guests to try. We would wake up earlier to fully enjoy breakfast! The tub was luxurious too. And the rooms weren’t too hot, our friends at other hotels complained their rooms were too hot.

BUT .... - Large modern hotel, clean rooms fully fitted, great Chinese breakfast and hotpot buffet dinner, well equipped gym, pool, sauna, helpful friendly staff. Rating would be 5/5 ... BUT ... room temp sweating at 29C, change to Cool A/C is no difference, asked for small window which dropped to 25C but wind howling in under the door all night smelling of smoke. Broken English spoken at reception only, but no knowledge of wine or spirits at bar and out of stock of most items. Staff do try though. Hotel is 30 minutes across the river flat from Harbin CBD, not an issue for us with driver. Sunac Shopping Mall and indoor ski world arounTd the corner is worth a visit. Harbin Ice Festival is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, a magical night. he Siberian Tiger reserve was also great, and not as disturbing in the large parklands.

Far from the city center but very close to several shopping malls, restaurants and Harbin West station. Great service and friendly staff.
- 480alisonb (8/5): Quick Business Trip to Harbin on the cusp of Spring. - This hotel was a standard Business Hotel in China. Clean rooms, good concierge, taxi rank, excellent buffet breakfast and meals , specialising in Sichuan and north eastern China cuisine, absolutely fabulous pool bathed in morning sunshine.( I often swam in it on my own ). It has a lovely park between the hotel and Wanda Mall, the big shopping complex which has an indoor ski run and skating rink. It is on the opposite side of town to the CBD. Buses go near here ( if you are game) and there are many other local restaurants both in and near the mall.

- SylviaMao (10/5): Great quality for the price - Very nice hotel in Harbin. Great upscale value for the price point - we got rooms for approx 800 rmb or $120 per night. Large spacious rooms and nice bathroom. Call out to the concierge Wesley who provided excellent service in recommending sites to see and organizing a car for us for 500rmb or approx $80 per day. Only con is the location isn’t most convenient - approx 30 min taxi or didi to get to the main pedestrian street in downtown
- Xin (2/5): The money we paid not get the match the service - 1.Aircon not working properly 2.staff not helpful and friendly 3.paid room rate with free breakfast 3 people,but hotel asked to pay additional 1 breakfast even we only have 3 adults to have the breakfast. 4.hotel staff called to refund the breakfast money after we check out the hotel but asked we go down to the hotel to collect the money.
- esuw (10/5): Great hotel in Harbin - Definitely a good stay in harbin. But you can't turn on or off the aircon. We went in december as it was winter time, but the aircon was really hot and we wanted to make the room a bit colder and we couldn't. But other than the aircon it was a good stay.
- BitzyBatsy (10/5): Nice clean luxurious hotel - Nice. I'd go again. Affordable too. The bathroom is grossly oversized as compared to the size of the room. Wish they gave us a bigger bedroom and smaller bathroom but that's a small point. Good service The twin beds are able to sleep 2 people. So you could put 4 people into a room if you wish.
- Kim025Singapore (8/5): Polite service but lacking the Personal Touch - Service I heard so much about the Wanda group and decide to stay here to experience it. I was disappointed that on arrival, no porter was around to help us with our luggages from the taxi. The taxi driver also did not bother to get out of his car to help despite receiving a tip. The receptionist was polite but we were left to find our way to our room. We also also got our own taxi whenever we needed it with no help from the hotel at all. We really missed the friendly service we experienced in Seine House near Zhong Yang road. We chose to stay here for a night due to its proximity to the railway. station. Breakfast There is a large variety of choice but coffee here is dilute. Room It has the usual typical decor.

Well located to the main attractions of Harbin, the Hotel offers luxury rooms and tasty food. The staff is is friendly and well trained. Overall it was a nice experience.

- CodyYew (10/5): Love it! - It’s not an international hotel chain but I dare say it’s standards are higher, much higher than expected. Am reviewing based on the executive room that I was upgraded to because I arrived late & that the hotel was running at full occupancy. I had two super single beds in the room. Mattress is soft yet firm, supports every back muscle. So I had a good night’s sleep. Room Aircon was quite under-powered tho. Tuned it to max fan speed on cool mode but it was just too stuffy. Ended up opening the window to let the cold air in. Parents don’t need to worry as the window doesn’t open big. It may be sub zero outside in Harbin but all the building are heated v warmly. So warm that u will need clothes that u bring to the tropics ie slippers, short sleeve T-shirts and thin cotton pants. Really I kid you not. Dinner at the lobby cafe was also decent. At least I didn’t feel like I was still hungry or pining for something good. Overall a good experience! 👍🏻
- Carlycu5tard (10/5): Would never stay anywhere else - I stayed here on a business trip to visit one of our global factories. When I first got to the hotel I thought this was just another Chinese hotel - very grand looking, but with little under the surface. However I can say I found the whole experience very pleasurable The reception staff were courteous and polite - and spoke excellent English. I was booked in a suite on the executive floor - room 1705 - very nice indeed with an excellent bathroom, (temple spa products which my wife spends a fortune on!) and a good hot shower. The bed was enormous and comfortable and the desk large and easy to work at. For breakfast the choice was staggering. I was trying to decide what to have when one of the chefs' personally took me on a tour of what was on offer describing again in excellent English what each item was - and that as a westerner I would probably want to avoid the Sauerkraut Stews with Pigs Colon as that was really for Chinese guests - she got no argument from me! Having settled on some simple fruit and a coffee I was encouraged by another very helpful and very attentive waiter to try the noodles and tofu - and was pleasantly surprised as to how good they were - if not particularly my usual breakfast fare. All in all the staff showed an extra level of attention and care and really made a difference to my stay. The final surprise came at check out - when the bill for the stay - in an executive room with enormous breakfast included was around £90. At this kind of value I would never stay anywhere else.

AC doesn't work, air smells bad in the whole building, food doesn't taste good, massage badly skilled.. noise from hallway.. bunch of people sitting on the floor smoking... nothing deserves 5 stars except building and interior. If you know real 5 stars service, better choose somewhere else.

Not far away from Sophia and famous street also the area of snow festival. The room is big enough for both of us, shower and bathroom both available. The food are many choices, especially for breakfast. It is good hotel for honeymoon even business trip.

- budthespud69 (10/5): Such a Wonderful Hotel! - We had SUCH a nice stay at this hotel. Entering the lobby and gazing far up at the jaw-dropping chandelier will make you feel like you've entered a palace. From the moment we walked into this nice new hotel we felt like royalty. I live in hotels around the world about 300 days a year and whenever I'm in China I try to stay at Wanda properties. They have a consistently good product that I can count on. The food is excellent, the rooms perfectly clean, and the staff are always smiling and eager to help. This hotel was no exception. The GM and his staff seemed to be always present tending to the needs of their guests, and they made us really feel like we were welcome and valued. Hats off to everyone there- we hope to visit again some time. This hotel would be equally suitable for business or vacation.

- JIANDONG (4/5): 硬件与服务差距太大 - 1，入住时，接待前台不按照顾客排队接待，似乎没有这个概念，傻等半天，看到其他客人入住直接到台前办理！不够专业！ 2，停车处理太差劲，听从保安安排，停到地下室，早上离开时要收40元停车费，前台居然责怪我们没有和他们打招呼，没办法！ 3，入住订单找不到，害的我们等了1个小时，（前台没有与销售仔细核对入住信息，前台借口电脑系统有问题）

- Verified traveler (8/5): Winter Trip to Harbin - Like most Wanda hotels it is very grand and modern. Rooms are well appointed, gym is good, swimming pool is good and the dining is OK. It is situated a short taxi ride from the centre of Harbin so not too difficult to get in and out of.

- Rui (6/5): Close to my conference site - I was not happy with the room coffee service. I ran out the coffee in my room and called operator for more coffee. It took a good 20 minutes before the coffee brought to my room; however, there was no coffee mate. I asked for milk instead, I was told that the supervisor was not in yet, therefore I could not have either coffee mate or milk. I called back to the operator and complained that I knew there was breakfast service on the first floor and there must be milk there. Finally I was given two coffee mate. It surprised me with such poor service for the price that paid for the hotel room. It was the only service that I requested throughout my three day stay.
