Lindsey (8/5): Cute, but tired hotel. Great staff though. - Great location, and the staff were super helpful and accommodating. Definitely a tired building. We were on the ground floor so our windows were only about a meter distance from the parking lot. There was no tinting on the outside of the windows so we couldn’t open our blinds without knowing that whoever was walking outside could look straight into our room.
Celeste (9/5): I love Cannon Beach and will continue to come to stay at CBhotel collection - I've been coming to Cannon Beach since the early nineties and have stayed in the Courtyard the most of the CBHotel properties because of the easy access to the beach and the amenties of the property. Breakfast used to be part of the price, and I miss that, but doesn't alter my decision to stay. One thing I noticed as an inconvenience, the tp holder is in an awkward position as I have to twist completely around to the right to get it. Also, the toilet itself is a few inches lower then what was standard height. I had to reach backwards to push myself up. I hadn't stayed in Courtyard Room 23 before so I don't know if the other rooms are the same height.

If I were staying in this area longing, I would probably considering somewhere else, e - Property was extremely close to the beach and had all the basic amenities for a hotel. I could tell the room was a bit older and run-down, which made it feel less clean. Overall, I wish it was more clean as I didn’t feel comfortable being bare foot on the floor. Bathroom was quite small as well.

Michala (2/5): Very uncomfortable and unfriendly management - The location of the property to the beach was very nice. This was the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. Our room was not very clean. The floors were very dirty. On top of that the room was extremely warm. We turned the furnace off, turned the fan provided on and opened up windows hoping it would cool down but it never did. We slept awful the first night. I tried contacting the staff the next day and never got a response about my concerns. So we stayed an extra night, slept awful again and checked out the next day a day early to leave because it was so uncomfortable. For almost $200 a night in the off season this place is way overpriced and under delivers. The lights also kept flickering on and off during our stay and the light above the kitchen area was so dim I could barely see what I was preparing. At check out I kindly mentioned to the front desk our concerns again, asking if we could just get a refund for the un used night and Pam was so kind to reach out to management providing us with the hopes that with our concerns from our stay it should not be a problem. Management declined the one un-used night refund because the said I never gave them the opportunity to help us with our room situation. But I did. I messaged them the night after our first stay and never got a response. I will never recommend this hotel or ever stay again. There are much nicer/ more affordable accommodation in Cannon Beach. Do not stay here.

Sehr großes/sauberes Zimmer mit einem großen Bad Kostenloses Parken. Wlan ist super. Top Lage und ein super Preis/Leistungsverhältnis! Bewertet von: https://www.freizeitparktests.de Es könnten ruhig die Steckdosen besser platziert sein im Zimmer =)

I arrived by the Oregon Point bus which arrives right across from the main building to do check-in. The McBee cottages are a couple blocks away, so an easy walk. No issues with the room or facilities.

N9739QAmattm (10/5): Amazing location and quiet getaway - My wife surprised me with a trip to Cannon Beach for my Birthday. We stayed in the Hearthstone Inn. The room was clean, cozy and super relaxing. We really enjoyed the cottage feel with a fireplace. And although our room was right next to the road we never heard any of the traffic and it was a holiday weekend. The location was amazing. It was a close walk to the beach and dinner. Very reasonable priced especially considering the amazing location. I can't wait to go back and stay a little longer.
MJ (4/5): Disappointing - Close to beach. No mattress on fold out couch. Very weak internet in room. Flickering lights and TV kept shutting off. Claw tub dangerous to shower in. Way too small to use as a shower.
mjdd2020 (2/5): Disappointed - Booked 2 nights with a friend based on the positive reviews. I was extremely disappointed. Although the ambience is cool the room we had wasn't. I was going to use the sofa roll out but there wasn't a mattress on it. It was 3 inch foam rubber but no mattress. Asked front desk and she didn't know anything about it. The lights kept flickering the entire stay, nothing to tell us how to operate the TV and no literature on what was around us to do. I have stayed in many hotels but never any as terrible as this experience. We were in the Suite. I didn't sleep at all and went home very tired. They did take 50 off my cc. I would have preferred atleast 1 room taken off but no. Live and learn, never staying again. Staff was very friendly. Just a real honest review.
G702AUlindsayd (10/5): Great Spot for a Midweek Escape - What a hidden gem! When I booked, I didn't realize just how walkable this location is. It’s right between the heart of town and the iconic Haystack Rock. I loved being able to park the car and explore everything on foot. The hotel itself is lovely, with clean, quiet rooms and a super welcoming staff. It really added a touch of charm to my time in Cannon Beach. There was fresh Sleepy Monk coffee in the lobby every morning
Bryson420 (10/5): Solo traveler - life’s a beach - This is a great hotel. Has a warm, old school atmosphere. I would highly recommend it. There’s also a pretty big rock nearby, it’s pretty famous. Goonies for life!!

Janice (5/5): We were extremely disappointed in our stay there. fowe - Location was good The room was not clean. We paid a lot for our stay there & it was not as we expected. On the patio outside of our room there was no table, just 3 chairs. Our friends stayed upstairs and didn’t even have a patio to go out on. We traced for 3 weeks and it was the most expensive & not much to offer. No breakfast included.

Erin (5/5): - I love the location of Hearthstone Cottage and the fireplace along with what is provided in the kitchenette Room 26 is smaller than the room I stayed in last time that did not have a sleeper sofa. The kitchen being in the corner made using it difficult and it felt quite cramped, The bed on the sleeper sofa was so thin and the legs at the end of the sleeper sofa bed kept popping out of place, making it unusable

tutoringg2024 (2/5): Beautiful room, great location, poor customer, service, problems, plumbing, electrical, and heating - We stayed at this beautiful hotel in this quaint town of Cannon Beach, Oregan. The room was not available when we arrived at around 2:30 PM. We were not notified that the room was available until after 4:30 when we were out so our first night we did not get access to our room until near sundown. The heater in the room was not working right making the room over 100°. The bathroom flooded with feces all over the bathroom. We were unable to use our toilet and our shower. They website of the hotel did not work properly. The staff at the hotel did not answer their phone during business hours. Our TV was not working properly. The lights outside made it pitch block in the evening, making it unsafe for coming and going. The parking lot was full, even though we were supposed to be provided a spot for our vehicle, making it very difficult and parking almost in a bush area. We were provided extra late checkout, and after checking out, they said that the room was too hot and retained our deposit because their house housekeeping could not clean a room that was warm until after 4 PM for almost 4 hours after we left. Overall, the customer service and ability to resolve matters at this hotel was dismal. Probably better to stay at a hotel where the staff is more on top of things and the toilet plumbing, electrical lighting TV and heater are working correctly.

The outside light was broken and turned on and off randomly. There were a lot of bugs in the room (I don’t like bugs) and the bed was very hard/ pillows were bad. Not a good room for $300 per night. Everything we could need or want in efficient space harmonious with the historical vibe of this area. Excellent staff! Our unit had a porch. This area could have been cleaner. The only issue we had was an outside light that bled into the room at night which affected our sleep. It was rectified the following morning, but my frustration was that it was clear by tape marks on the door that this was a known issue and should have been solved earlier.

Katinka (8/5): Once you get in the mindset of this being an old-timey vacation home instead of a luxury hotel, it’s great. - Location! Just steps away from the beach. And an easy walk into town. Late check-in. Uncomfortable bed (very saggy).

Just a 2 minute walk is the beach and Haystack Rock is RIGHT THERE! We enjoyed our stay immensely. The Lobby is cozy and there is quality Coffee available for early risers! What a treat!
