Guest Reviews
- Amuerfino Jr. (8/5): - Worth the price near City centre and Station 2
- daniel (6/5): - It’s on the beach but the rooms do not over look the beach. Located in station 2 which is the entertainment station so there is a lot happening on the beach in front of the hotel.
- shaun (6/5): - I have nothing negative to say about the property, I booked this trip last minute and really wanted to be on the beach and this was one of the only places available. It is nice but it sits 40 meters off the beach back in a small alley and is not actually on the beach part. Maybe I should of known this. Also I will say that Boracay was not what I thought it was going to be. Over full with family's and baby's. No bars open past midnight except a few loud discos. Just not for me being a solo traveler. Bohol was much nicer.
- Carlos (8/5): - Great place! Reasonable price.
- zoraida (8/5): - I like the area, free breakfast , simple but comfy rooms . We paid cheap for our stay but we really enjoyed our stay .
- Rodante (10/5): - It was way beyond my expectation. Superb!
- Myrna (8/5): - I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the staff of Nigi Nigi Too. This establishment boasts an exceptional location, being literally in front of the beach and a short walk from the main road. The room is immaculate and has a pleasant scent, with clean bed sheets, toiletries and towels provided. The staff are welcoming and accommodating. The ambiance is delightful, offering a cozy and refreshing experience. 💯
- Lap Shing (6/5): - Over all it was ok, it feels secluded but there's loud music from the bar at night which also has a drag queen show for those that are interested. Fortunately the loud music stops around 11-12pm. Rooms were ok but very small and basic. Didn't expect much more for the price I paid to be honest.
- Leslie (10/5): - Everyone was so friendly. I felt safe and it was super close to the beach! Very convinient!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very nice place would stay more.
- Mary Jane (10/5): - Excellent customer service
- GEETA (10/5): Greaattt stay - It was nice. Comfortable and the best part was easy access to the beach :)
- Cristina (10/5): - Beachfront room with basic amenities.. If you want a no frill stay - book it here.
- Walter (6/5): - Liked ocean side with view location. But only three rooms with ocean view
Poorly maintained and very dated facilities.
No pool. No phone in room.
- ernesto (10/5): - I really liked this hotel. My room had a balcony right above th boardwalk Good for watching sunsets people and events. Room was inexpensive basic and clean. Free breakfast and wifi. Close to all restaurants. I will definitely book this hotel again.
- julius (6/5): We picked the wrong niginigi hotel :-( - Ower 2nd time will be ower last time at niginigi 2 staytion 1! Last time aircon broke down they said will be fixed when we come back,it was not ! This time internet, cable and brown outs constently ! Food was tarrble ! Manager was a very unfriendly guy rasist we are not chinese so he did care about us ! He is in the wrong industry !!! For 130$ a night we got RIPPED OFF ! The other niginigi in station 2 is 100% better !.. avoid niginigi 2 in station 1 !!!!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great place right on the beach. Private. Staff are amazing and very clean. Quite place. Not far from restaurants etc. A lot of construction happening out the front door but that's okay. Restaurant a little expensive compared to ones down on station 2. But really enjoyed the stay. Would recommend
- Verified traveler (6/5): - They offered free breakfast every morning and the staff was nice and friendly. The hotel itself can use some work. The AC was not cold, paid for the deluxe room but the seagull balcony room suite was right next to the restaurant and the dining area. Since it is downstairs I couldn't leave the curtains open or else every guest would be able to see inside the room. I would have preferred a higher level room or a non upgraded room away from the public view. Alot of noise from the outside.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Room was clean
Restaurant showed pictures of food but it was not what you got
The place was a building site
- Thomas (10/5): A great place for a great price. - It was a fantastic location where you are almost literally staying on the beach. The major issue I have is potential circumstances of getting a room with a failing aircon. With the only reason that not occurring was because I had friends that didn't make the trip which allowed us to get their room which honestly was definitely far larger than the room we were originally given. Outside of that, the staff was great, the food was excellent, and there isn't really a bar at the location but there are several a few minutes walk in either direction down the beach. I would definitely recommend this location and would absolutely stay here again.
- JAY (8/5): I'll be back - The beach is right at your door step, customer service is outstanding. The beach view is incredible. Breakfast is ok. But I had problems with the toilet but they had fixed it right away and they were renovating the bar next to us so it was pretty noisy from the jackhammer and the mattress was too firm. We stayed in the penthouse room and the room was bigger than I expected. The walk to station 2 where all the restaurants and stores was pretty close. Oh and the price for a night is really good. I give this hotel 4 out of 5. I'll be back nigi nigi.
- John (8/5): Great value - Outstanding location in front of Willy’s Rock, Station 1. The room itself is nothing super special. Don’t expect world 4 star standards. This is a simple room. The bathroom is small, no threshold between shower curtain and toilet so water gets everywhere after a shower. The shower itself is very good and hot. The bathroom sink is small and no room to fit a travel bag. Very good air conditioning. The rooms are perfectly situated close to the water. Free Filipino breakfast was great. I love this section of station 1 where the hotel is located. I also like the fact that it’s mostly local Filipino guests instead of Europeans. Excellent Filipino hospitality as usual. Overall an excellent value for what you get and for being situated in front of Willy’s Rock. I was able to walk out and swim near the Willy’s Rock area every morning which I’ve heard is the nicest for swimming in the area.
- stinger113 (4/5): Abuse the word RESORT - This hotel is not a resort, they use the name Beach Resort to fool people. This hotel is kind of, sort of bed and breakfast type. The room is a little larger than Motel 6. the shower drain is plugged up. it flooded every time i took a shower. I told this issue to the front desk, and they did absolutely nothing. I guess the drain pipe was filled with sand, they knew it and they couldn't do anything about it. The bedding was very rough, and mattress was not comfortable as you expected from a resort...
- Ernest (10/5): Great little hotel - Great place a short walk away from the epicenter of white beach. Good breakfast, friendly staff, good location, good price.
- chris (8/5): - Perfect location! Love the staff! Lewis, Chandra, Jen, Kim and Joy!
- Verified traveler (10/5): A great place to stay - Wonderful place located (in my opinion) on the best part of the beach. Nice size and clean room, fairly priced food and drinks, and great staff. Had to cut my trip short due to a medical issue and management was incredibly responsive and understanding. I will be returning to this hotel and highly recommend it to others.
- Aaron (8/5): Great Location - Wonderful Staff - On the beach in a quieter location of Station 1. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I chose this hotel because of its reputation and proximity to my favorite dive shop.
- Marc Oliver (8/5): - The Hotel is ok but I think it needs upgrading, they should start renovating to keep up with surrounding hotels.
- Roger (8/5): Good location right on beach - Good location, service, right on the beach, rooms ok but food was good.
- sophie (6/5): - Nice hotel , staff really nice , facilities should be improve
- Gary (8/5): Great beachfront location in Station 1 - Staff are great and mostly efficient. Breakfast is good but selections available for the breakfast included with room option are very limited and become boring especially for a long stay.
The rest of the menu for lunch and dinner unfortunately is disappointing.
After trying a few lunch, dinner and appetizer options at nigi nigi too we ate at other restaurants
- Clive (8/5): Good hotel that needs improvement. - This is a good Hotel in an excellent location. But there are improvements to be made before I would rate it excellent.
We had booked a deluxe sea view room. There was a sea view but it was disappointingly impeded. We had a better view of the restaurant thatched roof and the tarpaulin giving shade to the sun loungers than we did of the sea.
The room was spacious as was the balcony. But as for deluxe - maybe that's pushing it. Many of the light bulbs were not working, and the bulbs in the bedside lamps were far too dazzlingly bright. One of the electric sockets was loose. The Aircon unit was irritatingly noisy. And if only there had been tea/ coffee making facilities!
We used the restaurant for lunch the day of our arrival - but not again during our four day stay. I ordered a chef's salad with ham and cheese. Both the ham and cheese were minimal and frankly tasteless. We had four breakfasts there which were OK. But why, when given toast with jam and butter, were the portions of butter so miserably inadequate? And the unlimited number of eggs is an excellent gimmick - but I suspect that if you want to be sure of getting what you ask for, avoid scrambled etc! And for heavens sake scrap the silly system of vouchers for breakfast. In a Hotel with 15 roooms this is just not needed and is irksome. As is the pardimoniouvoucher limit of 340 pesos.
The staff are welcoming and friendly and a great asset to the hotel.
All in all, I would return. But it needs to be improved!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This is simply a great hotel because of the staff working there. Located in station 1, it has a nice beach view, nice spacious rooms, clean and tended to my every need.
A wonderful stay.
- thomas (10/5): quiet hotel next to beach - hotel and staff very nice .. but the the bed is a little too firm for me.. and the breakfast although good .. is very basic .. overall a great place
- JL (10/5): Value for Money - Room - spacious and clean; needs to fix the aircon as it does have a swing function that results into air flowing towards the door instead.
Food - Delicious and must try bangsilog and hamburger
Location - beach front and very near the grotto
Staff - well-trained, friendly, accommodating and always try to give you a helping hand.
- William R (10/5): Comfortable, relaxing beach hotel - This is a very small hotel (14 rooms?) so it is quiet and the service is good and friendly. It is in the quiet/peaceful boat station 1 area of the beach. The room was basic, but big, well maintained, clean, very comfortable, and everything worked properly. Very casual and comfortable vibe - instantly felt relaxed and at home. "Included breakfast" was more like a credit toward whatever food you wanted, whenever you wanted it. Breakfasts were off the menu, not the big buffets normally encountered in the Philippines. Some food was excellent, some so-so. Had a wine list, but didn't have most of the wines on the list (LOL), which is about on par with other Boracay restaurants. Location on beach is outstanding. Bar/Restaurant has sand floor - very casual. It is a little difficult for me to review the place. There was definitely nothing at all wrong, but no one thing seemed outstanding, either. Overall, the place really "worked" for us. It is somehow greater than the sum of its parts. We generally stay in places that cost many times more and really enjoy those types of places. We knew that this place (and probably any other on Boracay) wouldn't be like those. But somehow this hotel managed to give us 90% of the feeling of those places at 10% of the cost. Casual, friendly, great location, relaxed, "no problem" attitude, or whatever it was really made it a great place to stay. If I go to Boracay again, this is where I would stay.
- Remo (8/5): - nice hotel, room with balcony on sea has a very nice view- location is also very good - wifi hasn't been always great though, and a few misunderstanding with the staff sometimes. breakfast was offered a la carte, it was ok.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very good hotel - Very good hotel but breakfast is small and not good value.
- Peter (10/5): Great Hotel right on the beach - Great STAFF, NO WORRIES & Excellent location right on the beach
- E (10/5): A great stay - The hotel located near the beach, on the quiet part of the white beach. Although the restaurant is quite pricey and there was some load music from the neighbor hotel, it was a lovely vacation and we would definitely return to Nigi Nigi Too for our next trip to Boracay.
- Verified traveler (8/5): beautiful hotel away from the crowd at station 2 - a very nice hotel away from the crowd at station 2, but a 10min walk in white sands gets you to happy hour .
- michael (8/5): - The there was quite enjoyable. Good food, drinks, and pricing.
- Sunil (8/5): Lovely hotel on the best part of the beach - Excellent part of the beach - much quieter than Station 2/3.
Friendly staff, wifi is pretty good.
- Peng Cheau (6/5): Relaxing - Good for family and those like beach
- Verified traveler (8/5): What a nice stay. We will be back - This was a very nice place to stay. While it is a little rundown, emphasis on little, the room was very nice. Most important the service was excellent, the staff truly cares about your stay. Kudos to Neil for hooking us up with some great tours, and to the rest of the staff for the great service. Food was excellent with a very generous free breakfast. It is a quiet place to stay with a short walk to all the action in station 2. Location is phenomenal!
- Oliver (10/5): - Great place to relax. Felt very comfortable and like you were at home, but in paradise, but the wifi didn't work that well.
- serge (10/5): - from day 1 too then end was zoo great .friendly staff. there when you need them, breakfast was simple but good.really will be back...
- Mon (6/5): Wifi not working. There was a mouse. - Wifi was not working and the staff were not even apologetic about it. They didnt even warn me during check in. And worse there was a mouse. I had to tell them twice. And they had a ready mouse trap! When they couldnt find it the housekeeping staff almost implied I was making things up until she saw it herself. No service recovery of sorts. Not even a sorry. Disappointed because I used to like this place.
- D (10/5): Beach View with a "Beach Road" - In regards to the facility it was top notch for the Philippines when compared to the price. The bar and restaurant is just as good or even better then most restaurants along the touristy spots of Boracay. The staff working the bard and front desk are also excellent and speak great English to help you navigate through Boracay. Besides the fact that you walk out the door/bar onto the beach makes this location second to none! From there you can walk down the "beach road" to swim, grab a smoothie, or pop in for a beach massage.
- Richard (10/5): Great Experience - Hotel, the room and the grounds were clean and well maintained. The location is excellent as it is close to where the action of Boracay is but far enough away that the noise and people traffic of the busy bar and restaurant scene of Station 2 was not an issue. Felt very safe in this location. Staff were very accomodating, friendly and willing to do the extras to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. Check-in & check-out was quick and professional. Final billing was accurate. Breakfasts were included and each meal was well prepared, presented and flavourful. Other meals were also of high quality and presentation. Service in the restaurant was efficient and very friendly. Every staff member we encountered wanted to ensure we were enjoying our stay. The staff were also very knowledgeable about the island and were good with making recommendations. Overall a very good experience. The staff are so well trained that the stay felt genuine and you felt as if you were family. I highly recommend the Nigi nigi Too Beach Resort and would easily decide to stay there again.
